Realme has made an exciting announcement, confirming the launch of their highly anticipated Realme 11 Pro series smartphones in India on June 8. The upcoming lineup will consist of two devices: the Realme 11 Pro 5G and the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G.

As we previously reported, pre-orders of these smartphones are said to come with a complimentary Realme Watch 2 Pro. Realme has now unveiled the official early access sale date and the enticing offers that will be available for customers purchasing the 11 Pro 5G series smartphones.

Realme took to Twitter to make an exciting announcement, revealing that soon after the launch event concludes, they will be hosting an early access sale for their latest devices. This special sale will allow potential customers to pre-book the smartphone after looking at its specs and pricing. The early access sale window will be open for a duration of two hours, starting from 8 PM on June 8.

As part of the Realme 11 Pro 5G series offers, interested customers can take advantage of an instant discount of Rs 1,500 when using HDFC Bank and SBI Bank Credit Cards. Additionally, Realme is also providing an exchange discount of Rs 1,500 for those who do not possess cards from the aforementioned banks.

While the brand is yet to officially confirm it, the pre-orders are expected to come with a Realme Watch 2 Pro worth Rs 4,499 for free. Let’s look at the specs of these upcoming devices.

Realme 11 Pro series specs

Realme has officially launched the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ in China, unveiling their specifications. Both smartphones feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth visual experience. Under the hood, they are powered by the Dimensity 7050 chipset.

For the Indian market, the Realme 11 Pro is anticipated to be available in different configurations, including 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. On the other hand, the Realme 11 Pro+ is expected to come in variants such as 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Both devices will run on the Android 13 operating system with Realme UI 4.0.

The camera setups of these smartphones vary slightly. The Realme 11 Pro features a 100-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens, accompanied by a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. On the other hand, the Realme 11 Pro+ is equipped with a 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It also offers a 32-megapixel front camera for capturing high-quality selfies.

Both devices come with a 5,000mAh battery to keep them powered throughout the day. The Realme 11 Pro supports 67W fast charging, while the Pro+ model offers even faster 100W charging capabilities. Additionally, both smartphones feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for convenient and secure unlocking.

Last week, Motorola unveiled the Razr 40 series in China and in the US. The lineup includes two models called Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra.

Today, the Lenovo-owned brand revealed that these two clamshell foldable smartphones will be soon released in India. They will be available through Amazon.in, Motorola.in, Reliance Digital stores, and select retail stores across the country.

Unfortunately, the company hasn’t disclosed the launch date yet. Going by the teasers, the products should go official in the country this month itself.

Currently, the Razr 40 Ultra is only on sale in China. The brand managed to sell over 10,000 units in the first sale.

The Razr 40 Ultra is the only clamshell foldable smartphone on the market with a large 3.6-inch edge-to-edge cover screen. This display offers a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Whereas the main foldable screen measures 6.9 inches and can stay unfolded at varying angles. It comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It draws energy from a 3,800mAh battery and supports 30W wired charging as well as 5W wireless charging.

The Razr 40 retains the main display but sports a much smaller 1.5-inch secondary screen with a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels. Also, it is powered by a less-powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

But on the plus side, this model arrives with a larger 4,200mAh battery and a cheaper price tag.

OnePlus launched its first tablet last month called the OnePlus Pad. The device is excellent on a hardware level, however, the software feels a little rushed as we have discussed in our review of the tablet. The brand has however released updates to fix these issues, with the latest one focusing on improving the stylus experience along with swatting some known bugs.

The new update is currently being seeded to some French users of the device with firmware version, OPD2203_13.1.0.544(EX01). The brand is yet to make the official announcement on the community forum. However, community members have shared a screenshot of the update. According to the screenshot, the new update weighs 714MB and comes with a bunch of changes to the system along with two added features.

Notable additions include Multi-Screen Connect support, allowing users to connect multiple screens and a convenient feature that enables quick access to the Quick Note panel using the stylus. Furthermore, various enhancements have been made to improve stylus stability, touch control experience, system stability, and gaming performance. Additionally, the update addresses known issues with the Photos app, resolving an existing problem. However, it is currently unknown which problem the patch addresses.

It is unknown when this update will be released for other regions, however, looking at the brand’s track record, users in many regions across the globe can expect the OTA notification to pop up within a week. Samsung recently achieved the no.1 smartphone brand position in India, dethroning Xiaomi. Following this, the brand has now launched a new addition to its F series of smartphones. This mid-range device is officially called Galaxy F54 5G.

The Galaxy F54 5G is very similar to the Galaxy M54 5G, which has already been launched in several markets. As for the specifications, the device packs a 6.7-inch centered punch-hole Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution, up to 120Hz high refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The handset is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 SoC offering support for 5G. Users can also extend the storage by using the dedicated microSD card slot given. For biometrics, it uses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Coming down to the cameras, the device offers a triple rear camera setup comprising an OIS-assisted 108-megapixel primary wide sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary ultrawide unit, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. On the front, the device houses a 32-megapixel selfie snapper inside the punch hole cutout.

As for the battery, it is backed by a built-in 6000mAh battery with the support of 25W fast wired charging. The device boots up on Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 right out of the box. Samsung promises 4 Android updates and 5 years of security updates.

Regarding the pricing and availability, the sole 8GB+256GB variant of the Galaxy F54 5G is priced at INR 27,999 inclusive of bank offers. It can be availed in either Meteor Blue or Stardust Silver color options.

The phone will be available for pre-order starting today (June 6) at 3 PM IST via Flipkart, Samsung.com, and select retail stores.

OnePlus has finally launched the successor of the OnePlus Nord N20 5G smartphone in the US market called the OnePlus Nord N30 5G. This is essentially a rebrand of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite which was launched in Asia and Europe back in April. This is a lower mid-range 5G smartphone geared towards customers looking for the most bang for their buck.

Xiaomi is reportedly set to unveil the highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series smartphones in China. Industry reports suggest that these devices, expected to hit the market in November, will be powered by Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which may debut in October this year. Notably, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are rumored to feature periscope zoom cameras, alongside the previously announced Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Periscope zoom capabilities offer users enhanced optical zoom capabilities, enabling them to capture distant subjects with precision.

According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s periscope telephoto camera will offer 5x optical zoom with an impressive 115mm focal length. Meanwhile, its sibling, the Xiaomi 14, will have a periscope telephoto camera with 3.9x optical zoom and a shorter 90mm focal length. The leaker did not share any other information on the cameras in the Xiaomi 14 lineup.

Rumors have also circulated regarding the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s display options, suggesting the possibility of both flat and curved-edge display variants. Vivo V29 5G Geekbench listing spotted, chipset, RAM details emerge

The Vivo V27 5G was introduced in March as the world’s first smartphone to utilise the Dimensity 7200 chipset. Recently, Vivo also unveiled the Vivo V29 Lite 5G in the Czech Republic, and there are expectations of the announcement of other models in the V29 series later this month. The Vivo V29 5G has been listed on the Geekbench benchmarking platform (via. Nashville Chatter), suggesting that its official launch might be approaching.

According to the publication, the upcoming Vivo phones with V2250 and V2251 model numbers will arrive with respective marketing names, such as the Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G. The recently announced Vivo V29 Lite 5G has the V2244 model number.

The Geekbench listing of the Vivo V29 5G reveals that it is powered by the Qualcomm chipset, which includes 4 x 1.80Hz CPU cores, 4 x 2.40GHz CPU cores, and Adreno 642L.

These details show that the Vivo V29 5G is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset. The listing also reveals that the device will arrive with 8 GB of RAM and Android 13 OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the device scored 1000 and 2803 points, respectively.

While Vivo has already confirmed the key specifications of the Vivo V29 Pro 5G, it is yet to reveal anything about the Vivo V29 5G. As it was revealed on the Vivo Philippines website (page removed), the V29 Pro will arrive with a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a 50-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS on the back.

The V29 Pro 5G will come with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It will have a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging. Other reports have claimed that it will be equipped with the Dimensity 8200 chipset.

However, we recently covered an update from the brand, which confirmed additional details about the monitor. Now, all that remains is for the price and sale date to be disclosed. Fortunately, retailer Digitec Galaxus has preemptively revealed the pricing and an estimated release date for the highly anticipated Odyssey OLED G9.

According to information found on the Austrian website of retailer Digitec Galaxus, Samsung is set to launch the much-anticipated Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor sometime between mid-September and the end of September. Specifically, the retailer mentions that the earliest date for availability is September 14, while the latest date is September 28. Interestingly, despite not being officially released, the monitor is already open for orders through Galaxus.

Furthermore, Galaxus has confirmed that the Odyssey OLED G9 will have a retail price of €2,449, inclusive of taxes. itel S23 page goes live on Amazon, key specs and price range revealed

itel is gearing up to launch its next smartphone, the itel S23. A report that surfaced yesterday revealed the key details of the smartphone. Now, its microsite has gone live on Amazon. Here is a look at the details that have emerged from it.

The itel S23’s Amazon page states that it is claimed to be the first smartphone with 16 GB of RAM available at a price of Rs 8,xxx. Here, 16 GB of RAM comprises 8 GB of physical RAM and 8 GB of virtual RAM.

The device will sport a waterdrop notch display. Its bottom edge will have a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The right edge of the device has volume buttons and a power key, which appears to be integrated with a fingerprint scanner.

There is a round camera module on the back panel of the Itel S23. It houses a 50-megapixel primary camera, an auxiliary snapper, and an LED flash. It will be available in black and white color options. There is no word on the launch date of the device. As far as pricing is concerned, it will be priced between Rs 8,000 and Rs 9,000 in India.

At the WWDC 2023, Apple took the wraps off its highly anticipated mixed reality headset, Vision Pro, along with the 15-inch MacBook Air powered by M2 chip.

The Cupertino-based technology giant also showcased the latest operating systems that the company will release later this fall and has confirmed the list of devices that will be left behind.

The company has announced the iOS 17 operating system for Apple iPhones and confirmed that the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X won’t be getting this newer version of the software. The update requires the smartphone to be running the A12 Bionic chipset or later.

The older smartphones that are eligible for the iOS 17 include iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, and iPhone SE (second generation). Similarly, those using the iPhone 5th generation or the first generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro won’t be able to install the new iPadOS 17.

With the newer version of the operating system, Apple is bringing features like Live Voicemail transcripts, the StandBy display mode, and better autocorrect, among others.

Some of the features coming to the iOS 17 include Smart Home Lock Screen which can turn iPhone into a “smart-home display” when not in use. It can show various information, including calendar appointments, weather data, notifications, and more. There’s also Contact Posters that allow users to customize how they’re represented on other people’s phones.

It is also bringing Live Voicemail to transcribe voicemails in real-time. For safety, there’s Check-In, a feature that will let users automatically notify family and friends when they have made it home safely. iOS 17 also introduces a new Journal app for sourcing memories using people, places, activities, music, and photos that users can add to daily journal entries.

Nothing Phone (2) is expected to launch in July in India and some other markets. The leaked renders showed that the Phone (2)’s design language would be quite similar to the Phone (1) from last year.
