Sony HT-A3000 3.1-channel soundbar with visualized Dolby Atmos launched for $699

The latest Sony soundbar is a 3.1-channel speaker with visualized Dolby Atmos and other impressive features. The HT-A3000 comes with the DTS:X surround sound and is seemingly the last model in the A-series lineup. Although it is the cheapest soundbar in the series, it comes with some impressive specs that are comparable with its more expensive siblings.Sony HT-A3000 3.1-channel soundbar

The HT-A3000 soundbar has many of the software capabilities and features of the higher HT-A7000, HT-A5000, and HT-A9 soundbars. The soundbar supports Chromecast, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth playback. The model has left, right, and center channels in addition to dual built-in subwoofers. It can also accommodate additional rear surround speakers and a dedicated subwoofer for greater output.

The Sony HT-A3000 features Sony’s 360 spatial sound mapping and sound field optimization functionalities. This allows for a customized and optimal sound that is tailored to the ambient acoustic profile. It lacks more channels unlike the other models in the lineup, as well as the absence of HDMI passthrough. This means that you will not be able to run a gaming console or any other intermediate device. It however has the x-balanced speaker design present in other models in the series. This offers clarity and a more dynamic output.Sony HT-A3000 3.1-channel soundbar

The soundbar can be used with Sony’s recent TVs like the Bravia XR. With compatible Sony TVs, it is also possible to connect an S-Center Out cable to the TV for a more immersive output in combination with the TV’s speakers. The HT-A3000 retails at $699 and it could be more expensive when it is part of a surround sound system compared to a higher and more expensive model. It is, however, a great bargain as a standalone soundbar for smaller spaces.

Upcoming iPhone SE to resemble the iPhone XR in design

Well-known YouTuber Jon Prosser appeared on the Geared Up podcast with Andru Edwards and Jon Rettinger (via AppleTrackr) to reveal key details of the upcoming 4th generation iPhone SE. The iPhone SE 2022 was based on the iPhone 8. The new leak reveals that the next-generation iPhone SE will be based on the previously released iPhone XR.

According to Prosser, the iPhone SE 4 will be “just an iPhone XR.” This indicates that it will be equipped with a notched display, reduced bezels, and Face ID. This also suggests that it may not feature a Touch ID sensor.

iPhone XR

The iPhone SE 2022 is powered by the Apple A15 Bionic chip, which is the same chip that can be found in the iPhone 13 series. Rumors are rife that the iPhone 14 and 14 Max, debuting next month, will have the A15 chip, whereas the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will be equipped with the Apple A16 Bionic.

Hence, it appears that the iPhone SE 4 may feature the Apple A15 Bionic chip. The rest of its specifications could be identical to the iPhone XR, which has been discounted by Apple. Reports have revealed that there has been less demand for the iPhone SE, which suggests that people may not be interested in purchasing an iPhone with an older design.

The iPhone XR, which went official in 2018, came with a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina IPS LCD display that offered 828 x 1792 pixels. The A12 Bionic chip-powered device featured 3 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and a 2,942mAh battery with 15W charging support. It came with a 7-megapixel front camera and an OIS-enabled 12-megapixel rear camera.

GoPro

The news arrives from a WinFuture report, who revealed some key details regarding the upcoming camera and even leaked its design. For those unaware, the American camera maker had announced its Hero10, which is a flagship grade model, that was capable of recording videos in 5.3K resolution at 60 frames per second.
