According to an ArenaEVreport, sources close to the matter have revealed details regarding the chipset that will power this new handset as well as its charging capacity as well. For those unaware, Nio is a known electric vehicle manufacturer that is based in China. The brand’s founder had revealed that it planned on launching a new phone a year and wanted to make it a high end flagship product.
Now, the latest report has reveled that this Nio branded smartphone will feature a flagship level Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm. In other words, the most likely candidate that fits the bill is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is the chipmaker’s latest and greatest smartphone processor. However, considering that the first smartphone in question is set to launch sometime next year, it is also likely that it will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Apart from this, the report adds that the smartphone will sport a QHD+ curved display that will have an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and a punch hole camera at the front.
Interestingly, Nio already employs Qualcomm chips for its EV’s infotainment systems. This includes chips like the Snapdragon 8155. The brand has also developed its own custom OS as well for the EV’s interface, so we can also expect the smartphone to feature a custom skin as well. Lastly, the final detail revealed in the report was that the Nio handset will feature a battery that supports 100W fast charging, with the capacity being around 4,500mAh to 4,800mAh.

Oppo has just listed the new Watch 3 series of smartwatches for reservations on its Chinese online store. A few days back, a smartphone called Redmi 11 Prime 5G appeared on Xiaomi India’s website. The same phone has been now spotted in MIUI code as well. As the device’s codename and model number are out, we now know everything about it.

According to Xiaomiui, the upcoming Redmi 11 Prime 5G for India is codenamed ‘light’ and it bears the model number 22041219I. Going by these details, it is nothing but a rebranded Redmi Note 11E from China.
It is worth noting that the Redmi Note 11E is already available in India with some tweaks in the form of Poco M4 5G. The Poco-branded handset has a different rear design, a better selfie camera, and boots Android 12.
Further, just a couple of days back, the Redmi Note 11E also went official in Indonesia as Redmi 10 5G. This version of the smartphone has no changes in specs, except that it runs Android 12 instead of Android 11.
The Redmi 11 Prime 5G heading to India will most likely be identical to the Redmi 10 5G from Indonesia.

Sennheiser has announced new headphones to its lineup of Momentum premium devices, dubbed Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless which comes with a new design compared to the previously launched models.
The new noise-canceling headphones have been priced at $349.95 and feature a more modern look compared to the retro aesthetic usually found in previous headphones. The new model is also more lightweight and more comfortable to wear.
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones are now available for pre-order, and the company will start selling this new audio product starting from 23rd August.
The highlight of the headphones is the massive battery life, as the company claims that the Momentum 4s can offer up to 60 hours of playback time on a single charge. The battery life is almost double than what the competitor’s products like Sony WH-1000XM5, Bose QuietComfort 45, Apple AirPods Max offer.
It still uses 42mm drivers that the company says are tuned for “brilliant dynamics, clarity, and musicality.” Sennheiser has also moved away from physical button controls and has adopted the same tap and swipe gestures as other popular noise-canceling headphones. Samsung is all set to host its next Galaxy Unpacked event, where the South Korean giant will launch some of its premium products in the market, including next-gen foldable smartphones and next-gen smartwatches.

Earlier this year, in the month of April, Vivo officially launched its first foldable smartphone in the market, dubbed Vivo X Fold. Now, the company is gearing up to launch its next-generation foldable smartphone.
While key details about the upcoming foldable smartphone from Vivo remain unknown, a new report from tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed details about the fingerprint sensor on the device.
As per the report, the smartphone will come with a dual-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the foldable display. This is impressive given that the competing products in the market feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Vivo is expected to launch two foldable smartphones in the near future. While one will be a direct successor of the Vivo X Fold smartphone launched earlier this year, the other phone will feature a vertical flip or clamshell foldable design.
The Vivo X Fold features an 8.03-inch E5 LTPO OLED 3.0 display with UTG that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution, and a 4:3.5 aspect ratio. The secondary screen has a 6.53-inch E5 OLED panel with support for Full HD+ screen resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, and a 21:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a custom Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. It features a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel portrait lens, and a 5-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens. On the front side, there’s a 16-megapixel snapper on the outer and the inner display.
The device runs the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own custom user interface on top. It is powered by a 4,600mAh battery which supports 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

These products will be announced at 7 pm (local time) on the said date. There is a possibility that the company may also announce its first electric vehicle on the same platform.

The official poster also confirms that the MIX Fold 2 will offer Lecia’s photography optimizations. The 3C certification of the device revealed that it will have support for 67W fast charging.

With the Samsung Galaxy S22, you get either a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform (inferior to its Plus variant found on the Zenfone) or a Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset (even worse than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1), as well as 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 native storage. According to a report by MySmartPrice, Vivo Y35 4G smartphone with the model number V2205 has been listed on the BIS website. As usual, the listing does not reveal any details about the RAM and storage configurations, or specifications of the handset but it hints that the Vivo Y35 4G may also launch in India.
As mentioned, the device is scheduled to launch in Malaysia on August 11. Its specifications have already leaked online. The device is rumored to flaunt a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD offering a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It will have a generic design with a waterdrop notch and thin bezels on all sides and a thick chin.
The Vivo Y35 4G is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. As far as the camera is concerned, the device could feature a 50MP main camera sensor accompanied by a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it may have a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls.
It will likely be backed up by a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. The device is said to be 8.28mm thick and weigh about 188 grams. It may also have a dedicated microSD card slot and come with support for Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi. On the software front, it will likely run Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.
Lenovo is scheduled to host a launch event on August 11 where it is expected to launch a bunch of new products including the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022. Just days ahead of the rumored launch, the company has revealed some new details about the tablet’s display and connectivity ports.
The launch of the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro is near the horizon and the company has started teasing the device online. In a new teaser, Lenovo revealed the screen parameters of Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022. The tablet is now confirmed to be equipped with an 11.2-inch 2.5K OLED screen that supports 600nits excitation brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
Moreover, the device is claimed to have TÜV Global Eye Protection Certification 2.0. The company also revealed that the device will be equipped with four JBL speakers and support Dolby Atmos and SmartPA.
Further, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 is confirmed to have a USB-C interface that supports the USB 3.2 Gen1 standard enabling smooth data transfer. In addition, it will support up to 4K video signal output making it easier to watch movies on a large screen.
As mentioned, the new Lenovo pad may launch on August 11. It is said to launch in two processor variants- MediaTek Kompanio 1300T and Snapdragon 870. It is expected to pack a massive 8200mAh battery and support up to 68W fast charge. It will have a single camera setup on both the front and back.
Do note that Lenovo’s Xiaoxin series is exclusive to China. However, the company may launch the tablet in the global market as a rebrand. The pricing details of the tablet are still unknown.
