Red Magic is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in its home market of China soon. The Red Magic 7S Pro is set to be announced on July 11, but prior to its release, the company has revealed a special limited Transformers edition of the upcoming smartphone.
Looking at the newly shared teaser images, we can see that the 7S Pro Transformers Edition features a unique design that resembles the iconic Bumblebee character. The Autobot features the recognizable yellow hue with racing decals. Thus, the special edition also features the same design along with the 7S Pro’s transparent rear panel that houses its RGB fan that helps in cooling.
Based on what we know so far, the flagship grade handset will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Based on a recent GeekBench listing, we know that the device houses 16GB of RAM and runs on Android 12 OS. Realme is scheduled to announce the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition on July 12. The Chinese manufacturer announced the Realme GT Neo 3 earlier this year with 150W / 80W fast charging support. Yesterday, we reported the confirmation of some key specifications of the upcoming Nothing Phone (1). This included the included in-display fingerprint sensor and the 120Hz refresh rate capability of the display panel.
Now, reliable tipster, Yogesh Brar has given some more insight into the highly anticipated smartphone by Nothing. According to Brar, the device will rock an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor rather than an optical one. Currently, an optical fingerprint sensor is usually seen in more premium devices, so it is quite a surprise that Nothing is providing this feature on a mid-range device.
Other than that, the tipster has also revealed some information about the camera stating that its performance is quite good for the price. Previous leaks have revealed that the Phone (1) will be priced between $397 and $456, so we can expect quite a decent camera performance from the device. Lastly, Brar reveals that the ultra-wide camera on the device will double as a macro shooter, which justifies the brand opting for a dual-camera setup rather than a triple camera that it currently the trend in the mid-range Android market.
Nothing Phone (1) specs
The Nothing Phone (1) is expected to debut with a 6.55-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a punch-hole cutout at the top left for the selfie camera and will feature even-sized bezels going around the display.

Xiaomi had recently teased the launch of its upcoming 12 Lite smartphone for the global market. But prior to any official announcement, a tipster has leaked the launch date for the device and another product that will release alongside the new handset.

The news arrives from Paras Guglani, who shared the information on Twitter. As per the tweet, the Xiaomi 12 Lite and Mi Band 7 will be launching on 13th July 2022. In other words, the new smartphone within the flagship 12 series and the latest smart band from the Chinese tech giant will be announced next week for the global market. The tweet also shared an image, which offers us the exact timing of the launch event as well.
While we did know that the upcoming device was set to be announced soon, the tipster claims that the new smart band will also be releasing on the same date. For those unaware, the Mi Band 7 was first launched in China for a price of 279 Yuan (roughly 42 US Dollars). Talking about the smartphone, the smartphone sports a 6.55 inch OLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 778G SoC and is powered by a 4,300mAh battery pack that supports 67W fast charging.

The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Mi Band 7 sports a 1.62 inch AMOLED panel and houses a 235mAh battery pack. Other features include NFC, built in GPS, over 100 sports modes, various watch faces, and 5ATM water resistance.
Smartphone launches don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. We are going to have four more events next week. One of these is the most interesting in recent times as it will be hosted by a newcomer.
These four conferences are meant for devices across different categories. Nothing will be releasing its maiden phone, while Redmagic will be debuting its next-gen gaming smartphone.
Further, Samsung will be introducing an affordable 5G handset, whereas Realme will be unveiling its next premium smartphone.

The Redmagic 7S series is scheduled to launch in China on July 11. It will be presented at a conference that will begin at 3 PM CST. The event will be live-streamed on Weibo and other popular Chinese video platforms.
The lineup will consist of two models, namely Redmagic 7S and Redmagic 7S Pro. Both of them will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.
The phones will be almost identical to each other in terms of features. They will only differ by selfie camera, screen refresh rate, cooling fan speed, battery capacity, and charging speed.
2. Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition
The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will be announced at an event on July 12 in China. The conference will begin at 2 PM CST and will be live-streamed on Weibo and other platforms.
As the name suggests, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is a successor of the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition. It will feature a design inspired by classic travel trunks. The phone will arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, 50MP + 50MP + 2MP triple camera system, 100W fast charging support, and more.
The Nothing Phone 1 will finally go official on July 12. It will be fully unveiled in a live stream, which will begin at 8:30 PM IST on Youtube and other social media platforms.
The Phone 1 is one of the most hyped smartphones in recent times. The mid-range handset powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC will arrive with a unique design, an array of LED lights for a feature called ‘glyph interface’, wireless charging support, and more.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy M13 series in India on July 14 via a live stream that will start at 12 PM IST. The series will include two models.
The two devices in question will be Galaxy M13 and Galaxy M13 5G. The former will be different from the variant sold in other regions. On the other hand, the latter will be making its global debut.
The 4G version is expected to house an Exynos 850 chip, while the 5G variant is said to be powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset.

Motorola has a foldable smartphone named Motorola Razr and now the company is gearing up to launch the third-generation model, which is said to be named Motorola Razr 3.
Ahead of the official launch, details about the smartphone keep surfacing online. In the latest development, Chen Jin, General Manager of Lenovo China has teased the lock screen of the smartphone.
He shared an image of the lock screen from the Moto Razr smartwatch and added that he can’t put down the idea of the Razr Watch wallpaper. While not clearly mentioned, it is likely that he is talking about the upcoming Motorola Razr 3 smartphone.

A couple of days ago, Huawei launched its latest Nova 10 series smartphones in its home market China, dubbed as Huawei Nova 10 and Huawei Nova 10 Pro. As the name indicates, it is a successor to the Nova 9 series phones.
Today, both smartphones, Huawei Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro are officially available for purchase in the Chinese market for a starting price of 2,699 yuan, which is about $402.
The 8GB + 128GB model of the Huawei Nova 10 is priced at 2,699 yuan while the 8GB + 256GB model costs 2,999 yuan. On the other hand, the 8GB + 128GB model of the Nova 10 Pro is priced at 3,699 yuan while the 8GB + 256GB model costs 3,999 yuan.
Coming to the specifications, the Nova 10 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display. On the other hand, the Pro model features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ OLED display and both phones offer a 120Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio.

iQOO 10 series launch event is scheduled to take place on July 19 in China. Today, the company released a video to confirm the design of the iQOO 10 lineup. The video has revealed the fast-charging capabilities of the device. It also confirms that the lineup will have two models: the iQOO 10 and the iQOO 10 Pro.
The iQOO 10 and 10 Pro seems to sport an identical design. A screenshot of the video reveals the black and BMW Legend edition of the iQOO 10 / 10 Pro. Both color variants have a glass portion at the top, which houses a triple camera unit and engraved texts such as 40x (zoom) and Vivo V1+ (photography enhancing chip).
Another screengrab from the video has revealed vital details about the iQOO 10 and 10 Pro. The smartphone is now listed on the official website. The listing reveals that the Y77 5G will go on sale with a starting price of 1,499 Yuan (~$224) next week in China.

Design
These phones are not focused on elegance, but, given that they are meant especially for gamers, young people, and power users, they come with aggressive designs. The most aggressive is the POCO F4 GT, clearly gaming-centric, which also includes two amazing physical magnetic pop-up triggers on the right side. The POCO F4 is the soberest one as it does not come with weird textures and it offers a classic glass back with a single color. Note that the POCO F4 GT is the most premium device in terms of materials because it comes with a glass back and an aluminum frame, while its internal rivals are equipped with a glass back and a plastic frame. On the other hand, the POCO F4 and the POCO F3 have the IP53 certification making them dust resistant and splash resistant.
Display
The displays of these three phones are not so far from each other in terms of specifications, but the POCO F4 GT wins the comparison because it is able to show up to one billion colors on its AMOLED panels. For the rest, these displays are pretty much the same: they are AMOLED panels with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a diagonal of 6.67 inches, the HDR10+ certification, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Even though they come with AMOLED displays, all of them have side-mounted fingerprint readers, but they also come with great stereo speakers. Unfortunately, there is no 3.5 mm audio jack.
Specs & Software
If you are looking for the phone with the highest performance, then go for the POCO F4 GT without thinking twice. It has one of the best processors in the whole Android world, something you can usually find only in the highest-end segment of the market. We are talking about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the flagship SoC released by Qualcomm for 2022. It is built at 4 nm and it runs at a max frequency of 3 GHz, with an octa-core architecture composed of one Cortex X2 CPU, three Cortex A710 CPUs, four Cortex A510 CPUs, and an Adreno 650 GPU. The SoC is paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Both the POCO F4 and the POCO F3 come with a Snapdragon 870 mobile platform, but on the F3, you get only 8 GB of RAM, while the F4 goes up to 12 GB. The POCO F4 and the POCO F4 GT run Android 12 out of the box, while the F3 ships with Android 11 because it is a device from 2021.
Camera
The POCO F4 and the POCO F4 GT come with the same camera department and, despite we are talking about high-end phones, they can only be considered midrange camera phones. They are equipped with a 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 20 MP selfie snapper. You get exactly the same sensors on the POCO F3 with the exception of the main camera: on the F3, there is an inferior 48 MP main sensor.
The POCO F4 GT provides a longer battery life because it has a bigger battery, while the POCO F4 and the F3 should offer a very similar battery life because they have similar components and more or less the same battery capacity. The GT supports 120W fast charging, the vanilla F4 stops at 67W, and the F3 supports 33W fast charging.
Price
You can currently find the POCO F4 for €349/$355 thanks to online street prices, the POCO F4 GT is priced at €699/$710 in its base variant, and the street prices of the POCO F3 hitten the €200/$205 threshold. The GT variant wins this comparison, but the F3 is the handset offering the best value for money and it has almost the same specifications as the F4.

Tecno recently launched the Camon 19 series globally and is preparing to soon debut the Camon 19 and Camon 19 Neo smartphones in India.
Now, a new report has revealed that the brand is working on the Tecno Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro. TechGoing has spotted both the devices on the EEC certification site.

The certification reveals that the Tecno Phantom X2 5G has the model number KZ0000005040. The Tecno Phantom X2 Pro on the other has the model number KZ0000005042. The listing does not reveal any specifications of the devices. However, since the phones have started getting certified, we can expect some details to emerge soon.
Till then, we can look at the Tecno Phantom X to get an idea of what to expect from the Phantom X2 series.
Tecno Phantom X specs
The Phantom X has a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a pill-shaped camera cutout in the top left and also features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC along with Mali G57 GPU. For memory, the Phantom X is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It offers a 4,700mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging
As for optics, the smartphone comes with a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13-megapixel portrait camera.
