OnePlus Nord 2T launch date has been finally confirmed for India. The smartphone was expected to launch in May or June. However, the brand has revealed through a tweet that it will be unveiling the Nord 2T on July 1. The landing pages of the Nord 2T as well as the forthcoming 50-inch Y1S OnePlus TV are now available on OnePlus India’s website. It appears that the Y-series TV will debut alongside the Nord 2T.

The OnePlus Nord 2T’s landing page has confirmed some of its key features such as 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS support, Dimensity 1300 chipset, and OxygenOS 12.1 flavored Android 12 OS. As shown in the image above, the handset will arrive in Shadow Grey and Jade Fog colours.

The other specifications of the Nord 2T are no secret since it has already launched in Europe. It has a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will come with LPPDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G price in India (rumoured)

A recent leak revealed that the Nord 2T’s base model will feature 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Its higher variant will offer 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. These models could be priced at Rs 28,999 (~$370) and Rs 33,999 (~$434), respectively. Amazon India and OnePlus India are likely to carry support Nord 2T on July 5.

However, according to a new report, Nothing is also considering selling its debut phone offline through Reliance Digital stores.

91mobiles in association with tipster Yogesh Brar, has revealed that Nothing is in conversation with Reliance Digital to sell the Nothing Phone (1) in offline stores. For those who don’t know, Reliance Digital is an Indian consumer electronics store. It is a subsidiary of Reliance Retail, owned by Reliance Industries.

Nothing’s move to market its smartphone offline will be appreciated in India because a huge chunk of the Indian population prefers visiting offline stores for buying expensive products. Most people still want to see and feel the product in real life before making a decision.

Recently, the pre-order details of the Nothing Phone (1) also surfaced online. According to leaks, customers interested in buying the Nothing Phone (1) will have to purchase a pre-order pass at a security deposit of Rs. 2,000 which will be adjusted at the time of final purchase. Moreover, the Phone (1) will be sold through an invite-only system initially and the Nothing’s community members will get early access to the phone.

Nothing Phone (1)’s key features are also out. According to previous leaks and rumors, the smartphone will boast a 120Hz OLED panel. It features Snapdragon 778+ Soc under the hood and carries up to 8GB RAM. The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it will likely have an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. Nothing Phone (1) will be fueled by a 4500mAh battery and support 45W fast charging. Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new 12 series smartphone, dubbed Xiaomi 12T. However, ahead of an official announcement, a noted tipster has revealed key specifications of the smartphone. The tipster claims that the device in question will come with a flagship Qualcomm processor, high refresh rate, fast charging, and more. Xiaomi 12T could launch soon as the device has recently been spotted on the FCC certification website.

Famous tipster Mukul Sharma has posted some key specifications of a smartphone said to be the Xiaomi 12T. In the post shared by Sharma, the Xiaomi 12T is speculated to arrive with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor under the hood. The phone is said to come in three storage variants- 8GB RAM 128GB storage, 8GB RAM 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM 256GB.

The display of the smartphone is expected to carry support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will run MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box. In addition, it will likely support 120W fast charging. The tipster didn’t reveal any information about the cameras except that it will have OIS. Lastly, the phone will also have NFC support.

As mentioned, the Xiaomi 12T has recently appeared on the FCC database with model number 22071212AG. The listing confirmed some general specifications of the smartphone such as Wi-Fi 802.11ax, 5G (7 bands), Bluetooth, GPS, and an IR blaster. The FCC listing suggests that the Xiaomi smartphone may soon debut in the global markets.

Previous leaks have revealed that the Xiaomi 12T will be a rebranded Redmi K50S which will be launched exclusively in China. Moreover, the device will have 2 cousins named Xiaomi 12T Pro hypercharge and Xiaomi 12T Pro- which will be a Japan-exclusive.

iQOO, the sub-brand of Vivo, has been actively launching new smartphones and the company is now gearing up to soon launch the next generation of its flagship smartphones under the iQOO 10 series.

Now, a new report from tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the company is currently testing a smartphone in the iQOO 10 series that will be powered by the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset.

Earlier, it was reported that the smartphone will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. So, it’s not clear if the device powered by the Dimensity 9000+ SoC is the same one or if it’s another device in the lineup, or if the company plans to offer two different models of the smartphone.

The smartphone is also expected to come with a 2K+ LTPO display that will offer a 120Hz refresh rate and come with support for a large area for the under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. In the camera department, the device is said to have a 50-megapixel primary camera in the triple-camera setup.

It appears that there will be two devices in the lineup — iQOO 10 and iQOO 10 Pro. The Pro model is expected to debut as the world’s first smartphone to have support for 200W fast charging technology which can fully charge the device within 12 minutes. While the launch date is not yet known, the phones are expected to go official in July this year.

The Iris Purple OPPO Reno 8 series smartphones have a textured back panel in a purple color that has wavy stripes covering the entire back panel. This new color option is now available for pre-order in China.

For the pre-order of the new Iris Purple color option, the OPPO Reno 8 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 2,439 yuan while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs 2,698 yuan and the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at 2,989 yuan.

An Android 13 Beta source code has provided some confirmation that the Google Pixel 7 Pro will have a brighter display than the Pixel 6 Pro. Previous leaks have indicated that the Pixel 7 Pro has the S6E3HC4 display panel. This puts the Pixel 7 Pro at par with its predecessor in terms of resolution. However, the source code shows that in manual mode, the Pixel 7 Pro can reach 600 nits of brightness ahead of its predecessor.

Both the Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 6 Pro have resolutions of 3120 x 1440 pixels. The Pixel 6 Pro has the S6E3HC4 panel compared to the S6E3HC4 for the Pixel 7 Pro. While the Pixel 6 Pro can achieve a maximum of 500 nits of brightness in manual mode, the Pixel 7 Pro is 100 nits higher at 700 nits. In Auto mode, the Pixel 7 Pro gets up to 1,000 nits compared to 800 nits for the Pixel 6 Pro. The numbers stated above are for all-white displays (100% APL). At lower levels of the APL, the brightness can be higher.

Thanks to the source code, some additional features of the Pixel 7 Pro were revealed. We now know that it will have an HDR10 display with support for HGL imagery. It also has a 1080p mode to ensure lower power consumption. There are no indications yet that the Pixel 6 Pro’s panel will support HDR10+.

There are no official confirmations yet on the rumored October 2022 release date for the Pixel 7 lineup. There are more leaks that could surface relating to the Google Pixel 7 series. We are at least three months away from the launch and much is still unknown about the Pixel 7 series.

For those unaware, the IPX4 rating means that the smartphone is resistant to water splashes from any direction.

So far, the device has made appearances on TENAA and Geekbench revealing most of its specifications. It is expected to come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The AMOLED panel will also offer 165Hz refresh rate and house a fingerprint scanner for security.

Under the hood, the device will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is expected to come with a massive 6000mAh battery and support 65W fast charging.

For optics, the device is said to feature a 64-megapixel triple rear camera and a 12-megapixel front camera. Additionally, the device is also expected to come with a secondary display on the back. More details about the smartphone are expected to be revealed as we get closer to the July 5 launch date, so stay tuned.

Chinese social media Weibo user, Niuwan Technology, recently shared on their timeline that several offline retailers in the country have started receiving the marketing materials and devices for the upcoming Xiaomi 12S series of smartphones, which include the Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro and Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

What is shocking here, is that the highly anticipated Xiaomi 12 Ultra is actually called the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which indicates that the Ultra model is a part of the Xiaomi 12S family. The parcel photo attached in the post states that the device shipped is the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and an early bird premium gift box set from Xiaomi is shipped along with the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

In that case, Xiaomi’s flagship naming convention makes actual sense this time around as from what we have gathered from previous leaks, all 3 models are equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm, alongside Xiaomi’s first-ever flagship camera setup that is co-engineered with Leica, for all 3 devices in the Xiaomi 12S flagship family.

The Weibo post also shows the marketing materials and invitation cards for the Xiaomi 12S series launch, and it highlights the partnership between Xiaomi and Leica in creating a new era of smartphone photography. All cards have been printed with signatures from the Chairman of Leica, Andreas Kaufmann, and from the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun as well. Xiaomi seems to have spent more on printed marketing this time around for the Xiaomi 12S series too because the amount of cards in one box shown in the Weibo photo seems to be a lot.

A new Xiaomi device with a 22071212AG model number has been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US. The listing (via) has revealed key details like its variants and connectivity features. This device is likely to come out in late Q3 or early Q4 of this year with the name Xiaomi 12T.

Previous reports have revealed that Xiaomi is working on two devices that have “plato” and “diting” codenames. These devices have 22071212AC/G and 22081212C/G model numbers. The letters “C” and “G” indicate their China and global versions. The shortened model numbers of these devices are L12 and L12A.

The L12 (diting) is likely to debut as the Redmi K50S Pro in China. It may arrive with the Xiaomi 12T Pro name in global markets. This phone has two more variants with model numbers: 22081212UG and 22081212R. The former is likely to be called the Xiaomi 12T Pro Hypercharge, whereas the latter could be a Japan-exclusive mode, which may debut as the Xiaomi 12T Pro.

The L12A (plato) is rumored to launch with the Redmi K50S name. In global markets, it could be called the Xiaomi 12T. This device has received FCC certification through its key details have surfaced.

The Nova 10 Pro will be similar in size and weight, measuring 164.23 x 74.45 x 7.88mm and weighing 198 grams.It will feature the same 6.67-inch OLED panel that produces 1,200 x 2,652 pixels resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. However, the device is equipped with a pill-shaped cutout for the dual selfie camera setup. The smartphone will be driven by the Snapdragon 778G 4G chipset.

The Pro model will also arrive in two configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will house a bigger 4,500mAh battery with 100W charging.

The dual selfie camera setup of the Nova 10 Pro includes a 60-megapixel main ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel portrait lens. Its rear camera setup will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a depth sensing unit.

The Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro are equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and they will come in four colors: silver, black, purple, and green. Design

Both these phones come with distinctive designs, but the Tecno Camon 19 is definitely the most attractive. Its rear side reminds me of a labyrinth with its very creative texture. Further, it has two round camera modules reminding of the latest Huawei and Honor flagship phones. Further, it has a high screen to body ratio with narrow bezels and a punch hole placed centrally on the display. On the other hand, the Tecno Pova 3 is very elegant because its rear cameras are placed directly on the back cover, without dedicated camera modules. This phone is reminiscent of the beautiful TCL 20 Pro, but it does not have a curved screen. A killer feature of this device is the presence of an RGB notification light stripe on the back, but only in the Electric Blue color option. Which of these phones has your favorite design?

Display

Do you need the most advanced display? First of all, we have to tell you that if you really need an amazing image quality, then maybe these phones are not the perfect choice for you. They come with IPS LCD displays and the panels delivering the most advanced image quality are the AMOLED panels. If you do not mind having a less impressive LCD panel but you still want the best display here, then you should opt for the Tecno Pova 3. With a diagonal of 6.9 inches, it has one of the biggest displays in the whole smartphone market. It is able to show images with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. Further, it provides a smooth experience thanks to a 90 Hz refresh rate. The Tecno Camon 19 has a 6.8-inch display with the same Full HD+ resolution, but it lacks the 90 Hz refresh rate and it offers a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. The Tecno Pova 3 also comes with stereo speakers. Both these phones are equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

Specs & Software

The Tecno Pova 3 provides a slight performance boost if compared to the Tecno Camon 19, thanks to a better chipset. We are talking about the octa-core Helio G88 SoC by Mediatek built at 12 nm and running at a max frequency of 2 GHz. The chip is paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage (there is a configuration with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage as well). The Camon 19 has the same memory configuration (4/128 GB instead of 4/64 GB for the base variant) but with an inferior Helio G85 processor by Mediatek built at 12 nm and running at a max frequency of 2 GHz. Not particularly inferior, but it is inferior. However, there is another important difference between these two phones: Tecno Camon 19 ships with Android 12 out of the box, while the Pova 3 is still based on Android 11.

Camera

The most advanced camera department is provided by the Tecno Camon 19. It has a better 64 MP main camera on the rear side and, even though it is not a camera phone, it wins this camera comparison. Even the selfie camera is better with its 16 MP resolution. Alongside the main camera, you get a 2 MP depth sensor, a third QVGA sensor, and a Quad-LED flash. The Tecno Pova 3 has a 50 MP main camera, two other useless sensors, and an 8 MP front camera for selfies.

Battery

One of the biggest advantages of the Tecno Pova 3 is its outstanding battery life. This phone is equipped with a huge 7000 mAh battery, one of the biggest batteries you can find on a device released in 2022. It supports 25W fast charging and even reverse charging which lets you use the phone as a power bank to charge other devices.

Price

The starting price of the Tecno Pova 3 is Rs. 11,999 (it roughly translates into $153), while the Tecno Camon 19 is yet to hit the shelves. There is not a clear winner of this comparison but mostly depends on your needs: if you want a better camera and Android 12 out of the box go for the Camon 19, otherwise, the Pova 3 gives you a bigger battery, better chipset, and higher refresh rate.

OnePlus TV Y1S Pro with 50-inch 4K display to launch soon in India

A couple of months back OnePlus launched the OnePlus TV Y1S Pro with a 43-inch 4K display in India. Now, the brand is gearing up to debut the 50-inch version of the Y1S Pro TV and has teased it via an Amazon microsite.

The teaser reveals that the 50-inch TV will come with the same features as the 43-inch version. It will have a display with 10-bit color depth, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG support. It comes with a bezel-less design on three sides and has a slim chin.

The Y1S Pro 50-inch model will also feature the Gamma Engine technology for enhancing image quality in real-time. It will run on Android TV 10 and come with the Smart Manager feature that facilitates a seamlessly connected ecosystem. The Smart TV will also come equipped with OnePlus Connect 2.0 technology that allows OnePlus smartphone users to connect and cast directly to the TV without using a Wi-Fi or cellular connection. It also has a low latency mode for gaming making it a perfect fit for consoles like the Xbox One X and the Playstation 5.

Other than that, the smart TV is expected to bring 24W speakers with Dolby Audio tuning to provide an immersive surround sound experience. It will be powered by the MediaTek MT9216 processor, which will be paired with 2GB RAM and 8GB onboard memory. Connectivity features present on the Y1S Pro smartTV are Bluetooth 5.0 support, 1 Ethernet port, 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, and support for dual-band Wi-Fi.

However, if taking selfies is your priority then Vivo V23e would be a better choice since it provides a better front camera and also supports faster charging. If the brand name means more to you, then Samsung A53 is the one for you as it comes with the Samsung brand name and also performs better in the hardware. Noise has launched multiple AIoT products in the Indian market this month including the Buds VS104 TWS earbuds and the ColorFit Pulse Buzz smartwatch. Now, the brand has debuted new neckband Bluetooth earphones in the market called the Nerve Pro, so let’s take a look.

Noise Nerve Pro specs & features

Starting off with its design, it brings a typical thick and flexible neckband that is designed to sit comfortably on your shoulders. It comes with 10mm drivers that provide crisp audio with clear highs and lows.

For connectivity, the earbuds use Bluetooth 5.2 which supports the dual pairing. This feature allows the Nerve Pro to connect with a smartphone and a laptop simultaneously. Another special feature offered on the neckband is Environmental Sound Reduction which helps reduce the ambient noise during calls for clearer mic input.

Fossil has launched the new Gen 6 hybrid smartwatch. The new wearable is perfect for those of you who want a blend of a traditional watch design with modern technology that can track fitness, send notifications, and more. Yesterday, Huawei had just announced that the company will be launching the Huawei Nova 10 series of mid-range smartphones in the Chinese market on July 4th next week. And as we approach nearer to the launch, leaks and rumours have already started to appear for Huawei’s next smartphone offering in the market.

Famous technology tipster, Digital Chat Station, has once again taken to the Chinese social media site, Weibo to share insider details of the Huawei Nova 10 Pro to the public.

In their Weibo posts today, they seem to be extremely excited about the 100W wired fast charging that will be featured on the higher-end Huawei Nova 10 Pro. Huawei claims that their 100W wired charging will be able to fully charge the 4,500 mAh cell in the Nova 10 Pro in only 20 minutes, which rivals other manufacturers like Xiaomi, Realme and OnePlus at a much lower voltage.

The leakster also shared several specifications of the upcoming Huawei Nova 10 series. He states that the Huawei Nova 10 Pro will be equipped with a 6.78-inch 120Hz dual-curved waterfall AMOLED display, with a resolution of 2652 * 1200 pixels and a pill-shaped punch hole at the top left corner of the device.

Cameras-wise, the Nova 10 Pro will have a triple rear camera setup at the back with a 50MP RYYB large main sensor + 8MP ultrawide + Advanced Depth Sensor, and its two selfie cameras at the front will feature a flagship-grade dual camera setup with a 60MP main lens + 8MP portrait telephoto lens.

The device will be running on the 4G version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, and it measures 7.88mm in thickness and 191 grams in weight.

As for the standard Huawei Nova 10, DIgital Chat Station shares that the Nova 10 will sport a 6.67-inch centred punch-hole flat AMOLED display instead, with a resolution of 2400 * 1080 pixels. The processor under the hood was not mentioned but we do know that the vanilla Nova 10 has a 4000mAh battery cell with 66W fast charging. The device is slimmer than its Pro sibling at 6.88mm and is much lighter at 168 grams.
