Motorola recently released the Moto G52 smartphone in Europe with a 90Hz display and 50MP cameras. The device is now expected to launch in India, however, the release timeline was unclear. 91Mobiles has now shared the launch month of the device and also tipped the phone’s price segment.
The Motorola Moto G52 will be launched this month itself in the Indian market. There’s no specific release date, but the phone is said to arrive in the last week of this month. Furthermore, the phone is tipped to come at around Rs. 20,000(~$262) price range.
Considering the price range, the phone is expected to compete with the likes of the Redmi Note 11 Pro, Pro+ 5G, and Realme 9 series. It is worth noting that the chipsets used in all of the aforementioned devices are way more powerful than the chipset that powers the Moto G52.
Motorola Moto G52 Specifications
The Moto G52 has a 6.6-inch punch-hole display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It has an OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 402 PPI pixel density, and a DCI-P3 color gamut. The smartphone comes with a 16MP selfie camera on the front and has a triple camera system at the rear. The rear setup has a 50MP main lens with an aperture of f/1.8. It is assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP tertiary sensor.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The device also has a microSD card slot for additional storage requirements. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W TurboPower fast charging support. It has an IP52 water and dust resistant rating and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, offering added security. The phone boots on the Android 12 OS out of the box, with MyUX on top.
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) devs at Krafton have been working hard ever since the launch of the game to make it more optimized and bug-free. The company has just launched a new update for the game bringing fixes for multiple issues that the player base is facing right now.
According to the official patch notes, the new update brings a highly demanded fix for the speed issue after jumping off the Nimbus Island. This is basically a bug that allowed players to move way faster than intended after abusing a glitch spot to jump off the nimbus island. Krafton has confirmed that this glitch has indeed been fixed.
The patch also brings a fix for the issue where other players’ sensitivity codes won’t get applied. These codes usually allow players to share their custom sensitivity settings for the camera, aim down sight (ADS), and gyroscope with others. Other than that, the last gameplay-related patch coming with this update fixes the issue where players were unable to see through the scope when they had the Christmas-themed Merry Tidings skin equipped to their UZI.
In a separately published patch note, Krafton has also stated that it has fixed an issue with a premium crate that gives an unintended item along with guaranteed rewards when opening the crate 10, 20, or 30 times.
Krafrton also recently announced that in the last week of March alone, they had banned over 66,000 accounts for cheating. Players have also stated that cheaters are getting banned at a faster rate compared to previous months. This may be due to improvements made in the Anti-cheat system of the game. The game also encourages players to report any suspicious activity that they come across. If the anti-cheat engine flags and bans an account that you’ve reported, the game rewards you with a “Ban Pan” skin for the iconic Pan.
OnePlus last month released the OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 8, 8T, and 8 Pro. Even before the users get a little excited about the update, OnePlus itself warned them about some bugs that they may face. And as warned by the company, users did face plenty of issues with their OnePlus phones. Now, OnePlus has started rolling a new OxygenOS 12 update for the aforementioned devices that brings several fixes.
The new OxygenOS 12 update is based on Android 12 and it has the version number KB2001_11.C.15_1150_202204021905(via). This update is currently being rolled out for devices in India and it brings stability in addition to the fixes. Some users in the previous update noticed slightly slower charging speeds, this update promises to fix that issue. Unfortunately, there’s no April security patch included with this update.
The full changelog mentions the following improvements and fixes.
System
[Optimized] the charging speed in some scenarios
[Optimised] the communication stability when making a phone call
[Fixed] the occasional issue that unable to use face unlock
[Fixed] the issue of abnormal display when enabling applications in some scenarios
[Improved] system stability
Cameras
[Fixed] the abnormal notification issue of “Camera is running”
The Oneplus 9R and 8 series users should have received the OTA update. If not, head to the Settings page and check for updates. In case you don’t see the update, do not worry, as it is slowly arriving on all devices in the country. Your device might be the next to get the update.
There’s no confirmation as to when this update will reach the European OnePlus 9R and 8 devices. However, there should be a rollout in the coming weeks.
Last time I reviewed the DOOGEE V20, a flagship rugged phone with an OLED screen, Iwas very impressed with it. But today’s star is equally impressive, the DOOGEE S98. It’s also DOOGEE’s newest flagship phone. And it is also a little different from other rugged phones on the market.
DOOGEE S98 Box
The DOOGEE S98 comes in the same large flat square box as the V20. When you open the lid, the package contains almost the same accessories as the V20 and is placed in the same place. There is the white pry bar that helps you open the SIM Card Slot and charging port. There is also an extra piece of Anti-explosion film. The phone is pre-applied with a tempered film, too.
This charger is also a 33w Type-C charger. From the charging protocol compatibility, it should be the same charger as the V20. The only difference with the V20 is that there is no USB-C to A Female cable in the box this time.
Doogee S98 Design
The design of the Rugged phone is like a human fingerprint, there are no two rugged phones in the world that are exactly the same, but the S98 is even more special. If you only look at the back, you won’t even think it’s a rugged phone. The back panel is very smooth to the touch and has a stitching design. Although it is still made of rubber, it looks like it is made of leather. It seems like the same phone used by business people.
The most special thing is this camera module. Most other phones have the camera in the middle, but the Doogee S98 is different. It has a huge round screen in the middle of the back panel. Yes, it’s massive, almost as big as my watch. This screen has the same function as the V20, you can check the time, switch songs or answer calls. But also, like the V20 there is no way to use the camera’s preview. The S98 also has NFC and custom buttons, and the SIM Card Tray can be installed with two SIM cards and a Macro SD Card. Anyway, I think the design of the S98 is even more special than the V20, and it is also very functional.
Doogee S98 Display
The S98 uses an FHD+ LCD screen. The quality of this screen is not much better than other rugged phones. Of course, if you compare it with the V20, the gap could be even bigger. The screen is not its strength, but it is enough to ensure normal use. The important thing is that its system is Android 12 by default. The gesture animation is smooth, and the UI looks good. Because the system update frequency of rugged phones is relatively low, so you want a rugged phone with Android 12, and we suggest you to buy the phone whose factory system version is Android 12.
As with other rugged phones, the S98 has Corning Gorilla protective glass plus a tempered film to protect the screen. It is enough to ensure that the screen will not be broken when dropped at a height of 1.5 meters. All ports are waterproof and IP68 and IP69K certified.
Doogee S98 Camera
The camera system of the S98 is the same as the V20, consisting of a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 20 MP Night vision Camera. The performance of this camera system is almost the same as the V20. Because the main camera doesn’t have the same pixel 4-in-1 in auto mode as other phones, you get a clear, sharp photo most of the time. Even when you zoom in on a photo, you can still see very clear image details.
1 of 8
The S98’s night mode is almost no different from auto mode photos when taken in a well-lighted night scene. Only when the environment is very dark, you can see that the night mode photo will be slightly brighter.
1 of 5
The ultra-wide-angle camera can help you capture a wider picture, but of course, the quality of its photos is not as good as the main camera, especially at night when the light is not good.
Finally, the Night vision camera has added the autofocus function. And while the V20 will remind you that you’re out of focus by flashing the IR fill light, the S98 will simply turn off the IR fill light when it’s out of focus. This directly eliminates the possibility of you taking blurry photos.
Doogee S98 Performance & Benchmarks
DOOGEE V20 is using MediaTek Helio G96 processor. This is the first time we are seeing this processor. According to the results of Benchmark Tests, in Antutu the phone scores 300,000 points. In 3DMark it is close to 1200 points.
It seems that the GPU performance of this processor is similar to that of the Dimensity 700 processor of the V20, but the CPU performance is a bit worse. However, light mainstream games such as PUBG are stable at 40fps, and COD Mobile can even run at 60fps.
Doogee S98 Battery Life
The battery capacity is 6000mAh, which can standby for 432 hours or play games for 10 hours. It also keeps the good tradition of DOOGEE phones with long battery life. 33w charging power is much faster than most rugged phones. And it also supports 15w wireless charging. So its good.
From the V20 to the S98, DOOGEE has always come up with some interesting phones. If the V20 gives rugged phone users the option of an OLED screen, then the S98 is the rugged phone that allows more people to use the business style.
It’s so special that it’s almost impossible to find a second rugged phone with a watch embedded in the back panel.

A smartphone has recently caught fire mid flight in India. The passenger who was traveling with IndiGo airlines had his device catch flames likely due to an overheating issue with the battery.
The news arrives following a statement shared by the DGCA (Via 91Mobiles). Apparently, the cabin crew member for the IndiGo flight noticed that the smartphone was sparking, with even smoke being emitted. Thus, the device was taken and the fire was doused immediately with a fire extinguisher. As per the official news, no one was injured during this incident and the flight also landed safely. Notably, the flight was from Dibrugarh to Delhi on April 14.
The DGCA stated that the smartphone caught fire due to an abnormal overheating issue with the battery. Furthermore, the aircraft landed safely at the Delhi airport around 12.45 pm on Thursday, with the ordeal occurring in the IndiGo flight of 6E 2037. In a separate statement, IndiGo said that “There was an incident of a mobile device battery heating up abnormally on flight 6E 2037 from Dibrugarh to Delhi. The crew is trained to manage all hazardous incidences and they quickly managed the situation. There was no harm caused to any passenger or property onboard.”
While the incident is rare, it is not entirely an isolated incident. With electronics becoming more common in day to day usage, airlines across the globe have also begun taking necessary steps of precaution. This includes carrying fire suppression equipment to help take care of any unfortunate fire accidents. As of right now, the lithium ion battery in the smartphone is being blamed for the incident. So stay tuned for more updates regarding this matter.
Microsoft is apparently planning on offering additional incentives to its bug hunt program to expand its reach. The company is willing to pay higher to those that find vulnerabilities within its security.
For those unaware, the American tech giant is running a bug hunt program that rewards participants that find serious security implications within the systems. Microsoft had recently announced the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Bounty Program and the M365 Bounty Program. And now, the brand is planning on offering an additional 30 percent bonus on top of the 20,000 US Dollars that it already offers for finding vulnerabilities.
So, one can now be rewarded with a sizeable sum of 26,000 US Dollars. According to the Microsoft Security Response Center’s (MSRC) announcement, “Through these new scenario based bounties, we encourage researchers to focus their research on vulnerabilities with the greatest potential impact on customer privacy and security.” Notably, vulnerabilities that are not considered high risk may still be eligible for bounties under the general bug bounty program.
The company further added that one may also receive higher rewards based on the severity of the reported vulnerability and the quality of the submission as well. Just a week ago, Microsoft had also announced that it will be adding Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business within the enterprise to its bug bounty program. So now, security researchers can find and report vulnerabilities affecting Exchange and SharePoint servers within the enterprise for a bounty that ranges from 500 to 26,000 US Dollars.

There are going to be 3 launch events next week. One of them will take place in India, while the remaining two will be held in China. As far as the devices are concerned, a total of 4 phones are expected. There will be a single entry-level, whereas the others will be mid-rangers.
Talking about brands, the three separate events will be headed by Xiaomi, Realme, and Oneplus respectively. With that out of the way, let’s take a look at all these upcoming smartphones one by one.
At the end of March, the Redmi 10A made its initial debut in China. The entry-level smartphone is now heading to India on April 20 (Wednesday). Though Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the timing for the virtual event yet, we can expect it to begin at 12 PM on Redmi India’s official YouTube channel.
The Redmi 10A is almost the same as the Redmi 9A from 2020. The only major difference between the two is the presence of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the newer model, in addition to a slightly tweaked back design.
The device comes with a 6.53-inch HD+ display (LCD), MediaTek Helio G25 SoC, 13MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, MicroSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, MicroUSB port, 5,000mAh battery, and 10W charging support.
2. Realme Q5 Series
Realme has scheduled a launch event in China for April 20 (Wednesday) at 2 PM CST. The company has confirmed to announce the Realme Q5 series at this conference. According to teasers and leaks, three models are expected, namely Realme Q5, Realme Q5 Pro, and Realme Q5i.
The Realme Q5 Pro is said to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, 6.52-inch 120Hz OLED display, 50MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) triple camera system, 16MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging.
On the other hand, the Realme Q5i is tipped to come with a 6.58-inch FHD+ display (LCD), Mediatek Dimensity 810 chipset, 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup, 8MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Unfortunately, the specs of the Realme Q5 are a mystery for now.
3. Oneplus Ace
On April 21 (Thursday), Oneplus will be holding a launch conference in China at 7 PM CST. The star of the show will be Oneplus Ace. The upper mid-range smartphone will be accompanied by accessories like Oneplus Buds N and Oneplus Bullets Wireless Z2.
The forthcoming Oneplus Ace is nothing but a tweaked Realme GT Neo 3. The only major difference between the two is the rear design. The Ace is also set to go official in India later this month as Oneplus 10R.
The Oneplus Ace will offer features like a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Mediatek Dimensity 8100 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, 50MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) triple camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, dual stereo speakers, 5,000mAh battery, and 80W/150W fast charging support.
A new report has revealed that Samsung Display might be planning on launching a new product that could rival its long time competitor, LG. The new product in question will be a rollable QD-OLED TV, which is what LG already offers.
LG rollable OLED TV
According to TheElecreport, sources close to the matter have claimed that the South Korean tech giant is currently working on the next generation of QD-OLED panels. The “aim is to reduce the use of glass substrates from the current two to one,” which would then allow for a new version that will be capable of rolling. The company’s display unit developing this new type of display technology implies that soon, Samsung Electronics will soon launch a rollable TV as well.
As of right now, the only commercially available TV with a rollable screen is the LG RX Rollable series OLED. This model was announced back in CES 2019 and was released in the market a year later. However, despite being quite an eye catching and innovative product, the 65 inch model alone cost a whopping 87,000 US Dollars. In other words, it is still too expensive to be mass produced or more widely available.
LG Rollable OLED TV three different states
So, its possible that the rollable model released by Samsung could be cheaper than the only option in the market right now. However, considering the price of the QD-OLED TVs, it seems unlikely that such a model would be too affordable. Keep in mind that this is still just an unconfirmed report, so take this news with a pinch of salt for now and stay tuned for more updates.
Yesterday, the Vivo X80 with model number V2144 was spotted on the Google Console rocking a Dimensity 9000 chipset along with 8GB RAM and an FHD+ display. The device is expected to make its Chinese debut on April 25 with the rest of the X80 lineup.
Now, the Vivo X80 with model number V2144 and the X80 Pro Plus with model number V2145 have made an appearance on the BIS certification database. This indicates that the devices will also be launched in India, probably sometime after the India launch.
Other than that, the Vivo X80 has also been spotted on the Geekbench database confirming multiple specs. The listing reveals the device running a Dimensity 9000 SoC along with 12GB RAM. Going by the previous Google Console listing, it all but confirms that the device will offer 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. The device is also spotted running Android 12.
Vivo X80 and X80 Pro+ Specifications (rumored)
Starting with the vanilla variant, the X80 is said to come with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 400PPI pixel density.
The device will come with the Dimensity 9000 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device is expected to house a 4500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and run Android 12-based OS out of the box.
Coming to optics, a previous leak states that the Vivo X80 will have a triple camera setup on the back headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX886 main lens with OIS. The sensor will be 1/1.56 inches and will adopt an RGBW arrangement. The other two lenses present on the camera module are expected to house a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 12MP portrait lens with 2x optical zoom. On the front, the handset will likely bring a 32MP selfie snapper.
On the other hand, the X80 Pro Plus model is said to rock a 6.78-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Quad-HD+ resolution.
It is expected to come with a quad-camera system at the rear with a 50MP main lens, a 48MP IMX598 sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 lens, and lastly, a 50MP JN2 unit. On the front, the phone is expected to have a 50MP selfie shooter.
Under the hood, the device will house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device will get a 4700mAh battery with 80W fast charging capabilities.
Yesterday, OnePlus confirmed the official Chinese launch date of the upcoming OnePlus Ace smartphone. The device is set to go live on April 21 at 7:30 PM in China. Now, before its official launch, the president of OnePlus China has released a long article revealing some details about the upcoming smartphone.
OnePlus Ace design inspiration and details
According to an ITHome report, OnePlus China president Li Jie states that the design of the OnePlus Ace is inspired by straight lines to deliver a powerful and speedy look. To make sure that the users feel comfortable while holding this device, the company has provided a subtle edge arc using a “2.5D step processing.”
The verticle straight lines on the back of the device are inspired by waterfalls to again provide a sense of speed. Other than that, the executive shared that the device weighs 186 grams and is 8.2mm thick. To reduce the thickness of the device, OnePlus has redesigned the body to make it “flatter.” The OnePlus Ace has a flexible OLED flat screen which goes along with the straight line aesthetics.

As we know, the OnePlus Ace has been officially teased and is about to launch later this month. However, before the launch, live images of the smartphone have surfaced online. According to MyDrivers report, the images come directly from OnePlus’s live stream, where the phone was announced and set to debut on April 21st in China. The images revealed that the device will indeed omit the popular Alert slider and will come with silver and black color options carrying a two-tone texture on the back. The camera module on the back houses one large lens and two smaller lenses, along with an LED flash.
OnePlus Ace specifications (rumored)
The OnePlus Ace will arrive with a 6.7-inch OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Dimensity 8100 chipset, have up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512 GB of storage. It will house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging. On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel camera for selfies, and its back panel will feature a 50-megapixel triple camera unit. It will run on the Android 12 OS and come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device will also come to markets outside China carrying the OnePlus 10R moniker and will launch on April 28th.
After the debut of ZTE’s Nubia Z40, the brand is headed towards the release of the Axon 40 phones in China. So far, we’ve seen a few models getting certified on TENAA and 3C websites, and some of those models are believed to be Axon 40 phones. In the newest development of the ZTE Axon 40 series, the brand itself has teased the phone’s display.
ZTE has shared a teaser poster for the upcoming ZTE Axon 40 series and we get to see the front panel of the phone. The smartphone has a full-screen display with no side bezels or noticeable camera holes. This means that the phone is using the under-display camera (UDC) technology similar to its predecessor, the Axon 30. The phone also appears to have narrow bezels on top and bottom.
Well, what we see on the teaser poster is a computerized image and the phone’s front may not be as similar as what we see here. However, if the screen on the Axon 40 turns out to be somewhat the same as the poster, it could be one of the phones from ZTE with the highest screen-to-body ratio.
Other than this, previously an Axon 40 phone with a model number A2023BH was spotted on TENAA certification. However, its selfie camera was visible on the front. It could be that this device will be another variant without an under-display camera.
ZTE Axon 40 TENAA images
To those unaware, the ZTE Axon 30 that launched last year had three models – Axon 30, Axon 30 Pro, and Axon 30 Ultra. Only the vanilla model had the UDC technology, others relied on the punch-hole camera. Similarly, this year too, we might see the A2023BH(Axon 40 model) with a visible selfie camera, while the variant that the brand teased could be a device with UDC technology.
In addition to this, we recently saw a ZTE phone on 3C and Geekbench certification with model number A2023P. Now, this model number is similar to the A2023BH model hinting that this could be another Axon 40 model. The phone has 80W fast charging and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, as per certifications.
Infinix has just launched a new smartphone for the Indian market. The company’s 2022 refresh of its popular Hot 11 is now available in the region, and arrives with incremental changes over the previous generations. So let’s have a look.
Design & Display
The Infinix Hot 11 arrives with a new design, which includes a holographic aesthetic that is paired with flat edges around the body. It also comes with a side mounted fingerprint scanner, while the rear features a dual camera setup. On the front, there is also a punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. The smartphone sports a 6.67 inch display that has a FHD+ resolution, 89.5 percent screen to body ratio, 550 nits peak brightness, and 114 percent sRGBcolour gamut as well. Although, this panel only offers the standard 60Hz refresh rate.
Specifications

Just a couple of days ago, the Oppo K10 Pro was spotted on China’s TENAA database, which revealed a number of its key specifications. Now, the base K10 model of the series has also surfaced on the same website along with its full specs list.
For those unaware, the brand is working on a new K10 series of smartphones for its home market of China. While the Chinese smartphone maker had previously launched a K10 series in the overseas market, this version is different from the model that came with Snapdragon 680 SoC. Unlike the mid range models, the Chinese K10 series is more of a premium grade offering. As per our previous report, the K10 Pro was spotted on TENAA and is expected to launch with a Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Now, the base K10 was also spotted on the Chinese certification website, carrying the model number PGJM10. Looking at this listing, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 SoC, which is also in line with our initial reports. This chipset is also a high end chipset and will be paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. On the front, the device is said to sport a 6.59 inch FHD+ display that offers a high refresh rate.
Live images of the Oppo K10 on TENAA also showcase the device with a punch hole cutout on the top left corner of the screen. This cutout will house a 16 megapixel selfie shooter. Meanwhile, the rear will house a triple camera setup, consisting of a 64 megapixel primary sensor, paired with an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. The device will likely run on Android 12 based ColorOS 12 out of the box and will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 67W fast charging.

A new report has just revealed interesting information regarding the future PC plans of Apple. Apparently, the company is testing a number of new Mac models, which will be powered by different variants of its next gen M2 chipset.
According to a Bloombergreport, developer logs showed that the Cupertino based giant is currently working on at least nine new Macs that will be equipped with four new variants of the M2 chipset. For those unaware, the M2 chip is the successor of the M1, which was the iPhone maker’s first proprietary processor that was based on the ARM architecture. And now, it seems that the brand is developing a M2 chip, the M2 Pro, the M2 Max, and possibly even a successor to the M1 Ultra as well.
Out of the nine upcoming Macs, Apple might be working on a MacBook Air with an M2 chip that features an 8 core CPU and a 10 core GPU. Apart from this, a new Mac mini is also in the works that will house a variant of the upcoming M2 Pro chipset. Furthermore, the company is also internally testing a new entry level 13 inch MacBook Pro with M2 chip, along with 14 and 16 inch MacBook Pro models that feature M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. The M2 Max CPU consists of a 12 core GPU and 38 core GPU paired with 64GB of memory.
The report adds that there is also a Mac Pro in the pipeline, which will house the successor to the M1 Ultra that made its debut in the Mac Studio. Notably, Bloomberg stated that the internal testing phase is a “key step” in the development process, so the new PCs might be released within the arriving months. Apple is due to refresh some of its Mac models, so stay tuned for more updates regarding this matter.
