Samsung Galaxy M53 5G with Dimensity 900, 6GB RAM spotted on Geekbench

Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy M23 5G and the Galaxy M33 5G budget smartphones, and now, it appears that the company is gearing up to debut the Galaxy M52 successor.

According to a MySmartPrice report, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has been spotted on Geekbench revealing some of its specs and features.

The Geekbench listing reveals that the Galaxy M53 5G carries the SM-M536B model number. The device has an ARM MT6877V/ZA octa-core processor, which is the codename for the MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G SoC. The Dimensity 900 processor comes with two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz which are built on a 6nm node.

Coming to the Geekbench scores, the Galaxy M53 5G manages to secure 726 points in the single-core test and scored 2168 points in the multi-core test. Other than that, the Galaxy M53 5G is revealed to come with Android 12 based OneUI 4.0 out of the box. The listing shows that the device sports 6GB of RAM, however, it is likely that it will also launch with an 8GB RAM variant as well.

The device is expected to debut with a price tag under Rs. 30,000 ($392) in India. To get an idea of what to expect from the Galaxy M53 5G, let’s take a look at the current Galaxy M52 5G device.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with a Full-HD+(2400 x 1080p) resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate panel and features a thin-bezel design. It has a 32MP single camera at the front for selfie shots.

Moving to the rear, the phone equips a 64MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G octa-core SoC clocked at up to 2.4GHz. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging technology. It comes with a dual-SIM slot and also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports facial unlock. It boots on Android 11 out of the box and has Samsung’s OneUI on top of it. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port for charging. The device has the following dimensions 76.4 x 164.2 x 7.4mm.

Xiaomi has launched the MIJIA Curtain Companion which can be hung and used without installation under crowdfunding. The product supports U-shaped, I-shaped, and Roman pole multi-track operations thus ensuring that you won’t need to change your curtain rails to use it. The product carries a retail price of 349 yuan (~$55) while it is on offer for 299 yuan (~$47) during the crowdfunding period. There is a Roman pole version with a crowdfunding price of 349 yuan (~$55).

As stated earlier, the Mijia Curtain Companion does not require a specific type of curtain rail as it can be hung and used immediately, automatically transforming an ordinary curtain setup into smart curtains in seconds. Also, it is compatible with mainstream tracks such as U-shaped, I-shaped, and Roman poles. The Mijia Curtain Companion comes with an automatic gripping fetaure whereby the algorithm intelligently adjusts the fit.

In terms of control, the gadget supports XiaoAi’s voice assistant control. With this, you can initiate the opening of the curtain with just voice command. With the Mijia app, you can check the curtain status and control the curtain opening and closing ratio.

The curtain companion can also be connected to a Bluetooth mesh gateway which will allow the opening and closing to be timed, among other remote functions. If you need to open and close the curtains in both directions, you can set up group control in the Mijia app but will need two Mijia Curtain Companions to be synced to function together.

It hasn’t been that long since Redmi debuted the Note 11 series of smartphones in markets. We recently spotted the Redmi Note 11S 5G on the FCC database which will likely launch soon. However, news has begun to surface of Redmi’s plan to soon debut the Note 12 series.

According to popular Weibo tipster DigitalChatStation, Redmi will focus on the Redmi Note 12 series after it gets done launching the remaining K50 series smartphones. So far, the brand has only debuted the Redmi K50G aka K50 Gaming Edition in the market and is yet to launch the vanilla K50, the K50 Pro, and the K50 Pro plus smartphones.

The tipster states that the Redmi Note 12 series will debut in Q2 2022, meaning between April-June. Considering that we are already in March, we expect that more information about the Note 12 series will start surfacing soon. So far, we know that the Note 12 series carries the codename L16 and has another version codenamed L16U which could be the higher-end device in the series, likely the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.

It will be interesting to see what changes Xiaomi decides to make to the Redmi Note 12 devices compared to the current line of offerings. Maybe a more linear naming scheme around the globe? The Okinawa Okhi 90 electric scooter has been the subject of some exciting teasers lately as the buildup to its launch gathers momentum. The Okinawa Okhi 90 comes with a lot of innovative features alongside its up to 200km range, and a new teaser has provided a glimpse of the e-scooter’s LED lighting and headlight.

The latest teaser was coming from the official social media handles of Okinawa Autotech, an Indian two-wheeler manufacturer. The LED turn signals and the headlight of the 2022 Okinawa Okhi 90 both sit inside a casing with a possible chrome outline.

We already know that the 2022 Okinawa Okhi 90 is billed for unveiling on March 24. There are still much more details yet to be provided for the high-speed e-scooter which can accomplish speeds up to 80km/h. It will be interesting to see how much juice the lithium-ion battery pack has and whether it will be swappable. The Okinawa Okhi 90 has been spotted on Indian roads undergoing testing, albeit camouflaged.

The Okhi 90 will have integrated LED indicators, LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lights, and an LED instrument cluster. The LED instrument cluster will show information on the battery, speed, range, and more. There are several other exciting features that the Okinawa Okhi 90 will come with including geofencing, alerts, navigation aids, diagnostics and ride behavior analysis.

Redmi recently released the budget-friendly Note 11S 4G smartphone in India which brought along a 90Hz AMOLED display with a 108-megapixel primary camera with a starting price of Rs. 16,499 (~$216). And now, the brand is planning to launch a 5G variant of the device soon.

According to a MySmartPrice report, the Redmi Note 11S 5G has been spotted on the FCC certification website.

According to the previous listing in the IMEI database, the Redmi Nore 11S 5G carries the model number 22031116BG. While the FCC listing has revealed that the device will come with Android 12 based MIUI 13 out of the box. The FCC listing also states that the Redmi Note 11S 5G will be offered in three configurations – 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB.

The FCC documentation also states that the Note 11S 5G is identical to the 21091116AG. For those unaware, the 21091116AG model number belongs to the Redmi Note 11 5G (Chinese model) which is available in India as the Redmi Note 11T 5G and globally as POCO M4 Pro 5G. So we might be looking at a lot of similarities when it comes to the spec sheet between the two.

The device has an FHD+ 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass protection. It is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset that’s paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For photography, the Redmi Note 11T 5G has a dual-camera setup at the rear comprised of a 50-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. Upfront, there’s a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. All of the device’s components get their juice from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Other non-essential but good-to-have stuff includes an IR blaster and an X-axis linear motor.

It comes with a lifetime warranty for its frame, Magnesium Alloy wheels, puncture-proof tires, 25km/h top speed, and a riding range beyond 100km. Battery swapping and onboard charging are also possible with the tbike OneX. The OneX is priced at Rs. 38,000 (~$494) excluding GST. There are few details about the global availability and pricing of the OneX at this time.

An early benchmark of the Apple M1 Ultra chipset has just surfaced online. Looking at the results, the company’s latest desktop grade processor showcased an impressive performance, which even rivaled one of the most powerful chips from AMD as well.

The benchmark was shared by @Benchleaks on Twitter and showed off some really great performance. In the multi core result on GeekBench 5, the Cupertino based giant’s top end flagship processor scored a whopping 24,055 points. For reference, the M1 Ultra almost caught up to the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X processor. The Apple chipset was just a few percentages behind the Team Red beast.

Keep in mind, that the Threadripper is a 64 core processor. So, its quite surprising to see that the M1 Ultra that was just announced is already rivaling some of the most powerful processors in the market. For those unaware, the M1 Ultra is basically two M1 Max SoCs linked together, in what Apple calls UltraFusion. This essentially doubles the core count of the M1 Max, bringing it to a total of 20 cores. Out of these, 16 cores are high performance while 4 focus on power efficiency.

It doesn’t end there as the M1 Ultra’s GPU cores also hit 64 cores, along with a staggering 128GB of unified memory that runs at an impressive 800GBps. This shows that Apple is no slouch when it comes to desktop processors, and isn’t making chipsets just for thin and light notebooks. The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X was only 4.5 percent faster than the M1 Ultra chipset, which only had 20 cores in total. Keep in mind that these are still just synthetic benchmarks, and we will have to wait and see what real live performance and tests show.

POCO India has just shared a new teaser video on Twitter. The company has been active with recent launches of products in the country, and now, the latest teaser hints at the arrival of even more new devices.

Looking at this video, it isn’t clear as to which type of products the Chinese company aims on releasing in India. The caption just states “Coz the mad don’t care!” alongside a “#MadeOfMAD is coming soon”. So its unclear if the upcoming products are just smartphones or any other products. Although, based on recent launches and certifications, the brand has yet to launch the POCO X4 Pro, POCO F4 GT, POCO C4, the Pop Buds, and a POCO Smartwatch in India.

In other words, the teaser might be hinting at the arrival of the new POCO X4 Pro for the Indian market. This model was launched a few weeks ago in the global market, so it may launch in the region with the brand’s Pop Buds TWS earbuds as well. The reason we believe that the new product launch is related to the X4 Pro is due to the recent BIS certification listing.

For those unaware, the smartphone sports a 6.67 inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, it houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. For photography, it offers a 108 megapixel triple rear camera module and a 16 megapixel punch hole selfie shooter. It is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack, which supports 67W fast charging as well. Keep in mind that this is still just speculation so take this report with a pinch of salt.

Earlier today (9th March 2022), Xiaomi held a launch conference for the Redmi Note 11 Pro series of smartphones. During this event, it even launched the Redmi Watch 2 Lite smartwatch as well, while also teasing the announcement of another handset for the Indian market.

Around the end of the livestream, the Chinese tech giant teased the launch of the Redmi 10. Apart from the slide that stated that the device will be launching soon, the brand did not reveal any other information regarding the upcoming handset. As of right now, the Redmi 10 has not been spotted on any certification website, although, the Redmi 10C was spotted on FCC and IMEI databases. So, the Redmi 10C global version may be launching in India as tghe Redmi 10 in India.

On the other hand, we had also recently reported on the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 receiving BIS certification. The Redmi 10 2022 had launched in China back in February, and the Prime model in India is rumored to be the rebadged version for India. This might be true considering the Redmi 10 2021 launched in India as the Redmi 10 Prime 2021 last year. Unfortunately, this is still just speculation, so take it with a pinch of salt for now.

So, its likely that Xiaomi’s Redmi 10C will be the Redmi 10 in India, since the Redmi 9C had launched in India as the Redmi 9. For those unaware, the Redmi 9 sported a 6.53 inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. Furthermore, it housed a MediaTek G35 processor with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device had a dual rear camera setup with a 13 megapixel primary sensor and a 5 megapixel selfie shooter. It was powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack as well. Earlier today (9th March 2022), Xiaomi launched a new product from MIJIA. It is the new version of the MIJIA Pulsator Washing Machine that has just been announced for the Chinese market.

Back in December 2021, we had reported on the Chinese tech giant launching the exclusive edition of the MIJIA Pulsator Washing Machine. Now, the company has released another new version of the smart home appliance. This time, the washing machine arrives in an 8 kilogram capacity, unlike the 10 kilogram capacity on the previous models. Furthermore, it offers smart weight perception, along with 10 different washing modes, and 8 levels of water level adjustment as well.

The MIJIA Pulsator Washing Machine houses a four blade pulsating motor that helps wash stains, with delicate care depending on the type of clothing material being washed. It can even intelligently detect the weight of the clothes and automatically match the water quantity as well. Additionally, the new washing machine from MIJIA can even be equipped with a safety child lock to prevent any form of misuse.

Realme GT2 series was announced in China earlier this year. At the end of the previous month, the company unveiled it for the European markets. Now, it seems to be gearing up to launch the GT2 lineup in Asian markets. A snapshot that has appeared on the Instagram handle Ussfeeds reveals the GT2 series launch date for Indonesia. It is speculated that it may go official on the same date in India.

OnePlus 10 Pro was launched earlier this year in the Chinese market. Weeks after its release, the device was confirmed to go global this Spring. In India, the phone was touted to launch at the time of Holi but the launch date wasn’t tipped. Now, the tipster Yogesh Brar has shared the launch date of the smartphone for the Indian market.

The tipster reveals that OnePlus will start teasing the OnePlus 10 Pro in India in the coming days. The device is tipped to launch either on March 22 or March 24. That being said, it isn’t too far until we finally see the OnePlus flagship in the country.

In terms of the pricing, there’s no official confirmation, but Brar reveals that the pricing looks good. The smartphone is expected to cost around Rs. 60,000(~$781) in India. For comparison, the newly launched iQOO 9 Pro with similar specs sheet costs higher i.e. Rs. 69,990(~$911).

On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro with again a similar specs sheet comes at a lower price of Rs. 50,000(~$651). So if we go by the rumors, the 10 Pro will be priced as per the current market condition.

The OnePlus 10 Pro offers a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The screen has a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels and has Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It has a Hasselblad triple camera system at the rear with a 48MP IMX789 sensor with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with 150-degree FOV, and lastly an 8MP 3.3x telephoto sensor with OIS. It has a 32MP IMX615 selfie shooter.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with 12GB of LPPDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery and has an 80W SuperVOOC and 50W AirVOOC fast charging technology. It also has reverse wireless charging support.

Apple has just unveiled a bunch of new products during its March 8 event. It introduced a new Mac Studio, iPhone SE 2022, and even the fifth generation of iPad Air as well. But now, a new report has shared information regarding the upcoming MacBook Air.

The news arrives from known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Via MacRumors). While the Cupertino based giant has just launched new products, the company is still gearing up to debut new refreshes of its existing lineup of gadgets as well. Now, the analyst states that the 2022 MacBook Air will arrive with a new form factor design and more color options. Furthermore, the new laptop will not feature a tapered design, rather, the iPhone maker will now ship it with a more MacBook Pro-like design.

Furthermore, the 2022 MacBook Air is expected to be thinner and lighter, and may even launch in color options similar to the 24 inch iMac, which is available in blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange, and purple color options. It is even rumored to offer an off white bezel and a matching off white keyboard. This is a major shift away from its typical black keyboards.

As per Kuo, the upcoming MacBook Air will run Apple’s M1 series chipset. The analyst claims that the MacBook Air will skip the Mini LED display that the company is reserving for its higher end MacBook Pro models. Notably, the mass production for the new MacBook Air will begin sometime in the second quarter of this year or possibly even the third quarter.

Here is all the information on the specifications, features, and pricing of the new Note 11 series devices.

Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G, Note 11 Pro+ 5G specifications and features

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and Note 11 Pro+ 5G have a 6.67-inch OLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both models are preinstalled with the Android 12 OS and MIUI 13. For security, they are fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Helio G96 chipset powers the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G, whereas the Pro+ 5G gets the Snapdragon 695 chipset. Both smartphones are equipped with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For additional storage, these devices come equipped with a microSD card slot.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and Pro+ 5G are powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Both models have a 16-megapixel camera for capturing selfies. The Note 11 Pro 4G gets a quad-camera unit comprising a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 2-megapixel depth helper, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

Realme 9 5G spotted on Geekbench, Realme Buds Air 3 listed online in India

Realme 9 5G’s launch is scheduled for March 10 at 12:30 PM in India. Ahead of its release, the smartphone has appeared on the Geekbench certification revealing key details. Additionally, the upcoming Realme Buds Air 3 has been spotted on Realme India’s official website.

The Realme 9 5G carries the model number RMX3388 on the Geekbench version 5. It scores 597 points in the single-core department and 1769 points in the multi-core department. As per the listing, the smartphone has MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core SoC paired with a base frequency of 2.00 GHz. The device has 6 GB of RAM and boots on Android 11 OS.

We expect the smartphone to come in 4GB as well as 8GB of RAM and it may run on the Realme UI 3.0. As per previous leaks, it could bring a crazy fast screen. The phone is said to come with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be a 6.6-inch LCD panel and is expected to come with multiple camera sensors at the rear. It may pack a big battery with fast charging support.

In related news, Realme’s Buds Air 3 has also been listed on the Realme India page(via MySmartPrice). The earbuds are listed alongside the Buds Air, Buds Air Neo, and Buds Air Pro. As for the specs, the earbuds were showcased at the MWC event. The Realme Buds Air 3 comes with Dolby audio and has a low-latency, transparency mode. The buds come with up to 30 hours of battery including the case and have an IPX5 rating.

Xiaomi has just started rolling out a new MIUI update for some of its older smartphones. This includes the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition, which is now receiving the stable build of MIUI 13 custom skin.

Looking at the new update, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition has received a software update that has a notable size of 4.3GB. For those unaware, MIUI 13 brings various improvements over the previous iterations, with upgrades in terms of stability and privacy protection. The privacy aspects includes face verification protection, privacy watermarking, and more. It even brings new fonts for the device, along with new widgets and wallpapers as well.

Furthermore, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition wasn’t the only model to receive the MIUI 13 update. The Chinese tech giant also announced the second batch of handsets that will be receiving this upgrade, which should be rolled out by the end of this month. Samsung’s next A-series phones to debut will be the Galaxy A73 5G and the A53 5G. Both models have been leaked rigorously and the launch is expected to happen anytime soon. Now, the tipster Evan Blass(via 91Mobiles) has shared a press shot of an A-series phone which is believed to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A73 5G.

The smartphone in the press image is the purported Galaxy A73 5G. It has a punch-hole display with super-thin bezels. Compared to the leaked image of the Galaxy A53 5G, the A73 5G’s display seems to have a more intuitive look to it. Even the bottom bezel is quite thin over the A53 5G. It has a flat screen and the screen-to-boy ratio is noticeably higher.

The publication has shared more alleged images of the device. The phone’s specs have been revealed. The smartphone has a quad-camera system with a 64MP main lens with OIS support. It features a 12MP ultra-wide, a 5MP depth, and a 5MP macro sensor. It is worth noting that past rumors revealed a 108MP main sensor on the phone. Upfront, it has a 32MP selfie snapper.

Other specs include a speaker at the bottom, a USB Type-C port, a microphone, and a SIM tray. The device doesn’t seem to have a 3.5mm headphone jack. It features a power button and the volume rocker on the right

Apart from this, the Galaxy A73 5G has bagged several certifications in the past few weeks. The device appeared on Geekbench confirming Snapdragon 778G SoC. The smartphone has 8GB of RAM and boots on Android 12 OS. Its FCC and Bluetooth SIG listing confirmed a 25W fast charging support and Bluetooth version 5.0 support. It is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery. The device carries two model numbers SM-A73B and SM-A73B_DS, the latter one being the dual-SIM variant for select markets.

Rumors reveal that the smartphone could come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to feature an IP67 rating and may have 128GB storage as the base variant.

According to Apple, the 5^th generation iPad Air is the most powerful and versatile iPad Air ever. In the U.S, it starts at $599 (~Rs 46,000). The Cupertino-based company has confirmed the pricing and availability of the iPad Air 5 for the Indian market.

The 64GB iPad Air 5 Wi-Fi is priced at Rs 54,900, whereas its Wi-Fi + Cellular edition costs Rs 68,900. The 256GB iPad Air Wi-Fi costs Rs 68,900 and its Wi-Fi + Cellular variant carries a price tag of Rs 82,900.

The iPad Air 5 comes in five colours: Space Grey, Starlight, Pink, Purple, and Blue. Pre-orders of the device will start on March 11 and its sale will begin on March 18.

For students, the iPad Air 5 starts at Rs 50,783. This pricing is available to current and newly accepted college students and their parents, as well as faculty, staff, and home-school teachers of all grade levels.

The iPad Air 5 accessories such as the Apple Pencil 2 is priced at Rs 10,900, the Magic Keyboard is priced at Rs 27,900, and the Smart Keyboard Folio is priced at Rs 15,900. The educational pricing of these accessories is Rs 9,810, Rs 26,226, and Rs 14,310.

iPad Air 5 specifications
