Xiaomi has been rolling out MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update for more devices for the past few days. The latest phone to receive the update is POCO M2. The M2 is not only one of the best-sellers of the brand, but also the second most-affordable model.
POCO M2
The POCO M2 is nothing but a rebranded Redmi 9. The Redmi 9 got access to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update at the end of October. The Indian variant of this device called Redmi 9 Prime got the update a few days back.
Now, the new software is finally available for POCO M2 as well. The latest system update for the handset arrives with build number V12.5.3.0.RJRINXM.
Since the fresh version of MIUI for the phone is being pushed via OTA, some units may receive it earlier, while others will take some time. Anyway, all users should get the update in the coming days.
The POCO M2 is an India-exclusive smartphone that made its debut in September 2020. The handset launched with MIUI 11 based on Android 10.
Motorola will be holding a launch event on Thursday (Dec. 9) to unleash its next Snapdragon-8 series chip powered flagship phones. The Edge S30 with Snapdragon 888 Plus chip and the Edge X30 with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 are expected to debut this Thursday. Earlier this month, tipster Digital Chat Station had claimed that apart from these two phones, the company is planning to introduce a mysterious under-screen camera phone. Today, Lenovo China General Manager for mobile division revealed that there will be a special edition Moto Edge X30 featuring an under-display camera.
Chen Jin said the Moto Edge X30 special edition will be the first under-screen camera phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 platform. Probably, he could be talking about the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which powers the regular version of the Edge X30. He also confirmed that this special edition device is equipped with a 60-megapixel front camera. Shown below is a real-life photo of the Edge X30 special edition.
Moto Edge X30 Special Edition
As can be seen, the Edge X30 special edition offers a marvellous full-screen experience. While the top and side bezels of the phone are quite thin, it has a slightly thick chin. The exact specs of the special edition are not known yet. Probably, it could be identical to the standard version of the Edge X30.

OnePlus rolled out the first Android 12-based OxygenOS Open Beta for the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro in October. A second public beta was later released a month later in November. Now, almost a month away from that, the handsets have started receiving the stable update.
OnePlus 9 Pro
OxygenOS 12 is the latest and probably the last version of OnePlus’ mobile operating system. That’s because OPPO and OnePlus have promised a unified software for their handsets in international markets from 2022.
That said, the new version of OxygenOS is based on Android 12 and brings along visual cues from OPPO’s ColorOS. Because the codebases for both the software have already been merged.
According to XDA Developers, the OxygenOS 12 stable update for the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro is currently live in India. The latest system update should be available for other regional variants, namely EEA and Global in the next few hours or coming days. Whereas, the Chinese models have already received the ColorOS 12 stable update in late November.
In case you own the Indian variant of the OnePlus 9 series, you can head over to Settings > System > System Updates to check whether your unit has received the Android 12 stable update. If not, wait for a while as it is being rolled out in batches like any other OTA software update.
If you happen to have updated your device to the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 stable release, then do let us know your experience in the comment section below.

Realme RMX3310 TENAA

The rated value of its dual-cell battery is a 2,440mAh battery. It is li9kely to offer a total typical value of 5,000mAh. While the handset hasn’t appeared at the 3C certification yet, it may carry support for 65W charging.
Coming to the camera department, the RMX3310 has a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. Its back panel has a 50-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel lens, and a 2-megapixel camera.
Motorola has been expanding its portfolio of smartphones and has a presence in the budget, mid-range, and high-end categories. It is also set to be the first one to launch a device powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Now, a new report from 91Mobiles claims that the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand will be launching two new smartphones in the Indian market in the first quarter of 2022. It has also been revealed that one of those will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Moto Edge X30 live image
In that case, it’s likely that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered smartphone will be the Moto Edge X30 which is set to go official in China on 9th December. There’s also a possibility that the phone could land in India under a different name.
The other device which is expected to launch alongside could be a Moto G-series phone, likely to be the Moto G71. But it could also be the Moto G200 or Moto G41, both of which are yet to launch in China. The company is set to launch the Moto G51 in India later this week, on 10th December.
Motorola has already confirmed that the Edge X30 will come with an OLED panel that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 10-bit colors. It appears to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display. It could come packed with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage in China.
As for the cameras, there will be 50-megapixel dual cameras and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front side, the device may have a 60-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling. Running Android 12 out-of-the-box, the phone will come powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging.
Tecno, which had launched an updated version of the Spark 8 smartphone in the Indian market last month, is now all set to launch a new device in India, dubbed Tecno Spark 8T.
The company has officially teased this new smartphone launch in the Indian market through its Twitter account but has not yet revealed the date of launch. The teaser poster shared by the brand reveals that the phone will come in Cyan color, along with others.
Based on the teaser image, it appears that the phone will have a dual-camera setup on the back panel. The volume rocker keys, as well as the power button, are placed on the right side, which we generally see in other phones.
As of now, there’s not much known about the Tecno Spark 8T in terms of specifications and features but we expect the company to share more details in the coming days or weeks, as the launch date nears.
The most recent smartphone from the brand is the Tecno Spark 8 Pro launched in Bangladesh, which features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ Notch display with 2460 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB.
It has a triple rear camera setup which houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel shooter with an f/2.4 lens, and an AI lens with an f/2.0 lens. There’s also an 8-megapixel front camera with dual-LED flash.
The phone runs the Android 11 operating system with HiOS v7.6. on top and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that comes with support for 33W fast charging.
Infinix, the Hong Kong-based smartphone manufacturer recently launched the Hot 11 series, followed by the Note 11 series devices. Now, it is being reported that the company is gearing up to launch its successors.
A new report coming from Passionategeekz reveals that the company is working to launch the Infinix Hot 12 and Note 12 series smartphones, which are expected to go official sometime in early 2022.
Infinix Note 11 Pro
The model number of the upcoming devices includes X665 (Hot 12i), X665B (Hot 12i), X6817 (Hot 12), X6815 (Zero 5G), X699 (Note 12 Pro), and X670 (Note 12). Currently, there’s nothing known about the specs or features of these upcoming devices.
There’s at least a couple of months left before these new smartphones get launched in the market, so there’s plenty of time for more information about the devices to surface online, be it in the form of leaks or through official teasers from the brand.
The development of these upcoming phones comes at a time when the company is still gearing up to launch the Infinix Note 11 series smartphones in the Indian market. The Infinix Note 11S and Note 11 will be made official in India in mid-December.
The brand is also set to launch the Infinix INBook X1 and INBook X1 Pro in the Indian market tomorrow, marking the brand’s entry into the laptop category in India. It had first announced the INBoox X1 in the Philippines back in October.
Xiaomi surprised everyone by launching the POCO M4 Pro 5G in Europe with a stunning price tag. Initially, the new budget phone was available for just €199 and its specifications made it a real best-buy for that price range. But when you are looking for a new phone, it is always recommended to look at older phones with the same street prices since you can find a lot of other discounts. That is the reason why we decided to write a comparison between POCO M4 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 10S, and Redmi Note 10 5G: you could find all of them for less than €200, but a lot of people are wondering which one is the best. We hope this comparison will clear your ideas in regards.

Design
The Redmi Note 10S is the most interesting when it comes to aesthetics thanks to a thinner body, a lower weight, and an overall more compact design. The POCO M4 Pro 5G is bigger and chunkier, but it has a higher screen to body ratio. The Redmi Note 10 5G sits in the middle in terms of dimensions and it is similar to the Redmi Note 10S in terms of design. Note that POCO M4 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 10S feature the IP53 certification.
Display
The most advanced display is definitely the one offered by Redmi Note 10S since it has the AMOLED technology showing more vibrant colors. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and, just like its internal rivals, it comes with a Full HD+ resolution. POCO M4 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 10 5G are equipped with IPS display providing a 90 Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels: the former has the widest panel with a diagonal of 6.6 inches.
Hardware/Software
The best hardware setup belongs to the POCO M4 Pro 5G: it is powered by the new Mediatek Dimensity 810 mobile platform built at 6 nm and running at a max frequency of 2.4 GHz. The SoC is paired with 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. Redmi Note 10 5G has a weaker Dimensity 700 chipset, but it offers up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage, so do not underestimate it. The inferior one is the Redmi Note 10S because it has an Helio G96 chipset with lower performance and no 5G support. The phones run Android 11 out of the box, customized by MIUI 12.
Camera
If you are looking for the best cameras, then choose the Redmi Note 10S without thinking twice. The main sensor is actually better with its 64 MP resolution and it is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a pair of 2 MP sensors for macros and depth. Right after, there is POCO M4 Pro 5G with a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide lens.
Battery
The battery capacity of these devices does not change: 5000 mAh for all of them, but the Redmi Note 10S is likely to last more in several scenarios due to its AMOLED display providing a lower energy consumption.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G: Price
You can find all of these phones for less than €200/$225 thanks to online street prices, but only if you are a bit lucky, otherwise you have to spend from €220 to €240. The most advanced handset of the trio is the POCO M4 Pro due to its better processor, but if you do not mind about 5G, the Redmi Note 10S is more interesting thanks to its great 64 MP camera and its AMOLED display. The Redmi Note 10 5G does not make much sense with the POCO M4 Pro 5G around unless you find it for €150/$170 or so.
Motorola is expected to officially unveil the Moto Edge 30X which will likely launch in the US as Moto Edge 30 Ultra on December 9. The Moto Edge 30X is Motorola’s next flagship offering and will reportedly run on the Android 12 operating system out of the box.
Ahead of the launch, some camera samples with the watermarks showing they were captured by the flagship have been shared by the company online. The samples were captured at night and show the device’s camera will have a spectacular night mode with clarity of details.
Speaking of the camera, a Weibo tipster recently added some key details of Motorola’s Moto Edge 30X including the camera details. The leak shows the device will sport a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main unit and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, alongside a 2MP depth module. The selfie camera of the Moto Edge 30 Ultra will have a 60MP resolution. The rear and front cameras of the device have an impressive low-light capability, as shown in the stunning images released by the company.
The Moto Edge 30 Ultra will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. Although the phone had been spotted on Geekbench 4, the more definitive Geekbench 5 result will be more reliable. The Moto Edge 30 Ultra will probably run on Android 12 pre-installed, which could be a milestone – it will be the first non-Google smartphone to sport the latest Android version pre-installed. However, the race for the Android 12 milestone is still heated and Xiaomi may pip Motorola in this light.
The Moto Edge 30 Ultra comes well-kitted for its flagship tag. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, with several other impressive features including a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Pricing and global availability details will likely surface soon as we get closer to the December 9 launch.
Two photos shared by Lenovo executives on Weibo have further illuminated some of the dark patches relating to the Lenovo Legion Pad. The images indicate that the Legion Pad will be a pretty small tablet with a focus on gaming applications. The images shared on Weibo were the front and the back of the tablet which also had the Legion branding.
Earlier rumors had put the size of the Lenovo Legion Pad at 8 inches and these new images seem to support the claim. To put the size of the Legion Pad in perspective, the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro smartphone has a 6.92-inch display. The absence of physical controls on the tablet gives it an edge over the unreleased, 7-inch screen-packing Lenovo Legion Play, which has built-in D-pads, joysticks, and other gaming control buttons.
Gaming-focused tablets are a rarity and the Lenovo Legion Pad may ride on the crest of its compact design for a share of the gaming market. The device will most likely be powered by either of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon premium chips – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the Snapdragon 666, although this remains speculative. Other specs details are still lacking at this time, as well as availability details.

Cameras
The Moto G51 is expected to host a triple camera setup with a 50 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN1 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel microsensor. Performance
The device is expected to house a QualcommSnapdragon 480+ SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot, while its RAM can also be virtually expanded by up to 3GB as well. The device will feature a 5,000mAh battery pack with 10W charging support. Other features include 5G support of up to 12 bands, Android 11, a fingerprint scanner on the rear, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, a USB Type C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Variants, pricing, and availability

Industry sources have reported the Moto M51 to be priced under Rs 20,000 ($265), which can go further down for the lower memory configuration models. The phone will be available starting December 10th through the e-commerce website Flipkart in India and will be offered in two color variants, namely Indigo Blue and Bright Silver.

It has an LED flashlight below the camera sensor.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Unisoc 9863A octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 11 Go Edition and has facial unlock support for security. One of the highlights of the phone is the big 5,000mAh battery. It supports 10W charging speed.

Neckband headsets have turned out to be a popular headset design, perhaps due to the ease of storage which ensures they don’t get lost easily. Indian audio accessory manufacturer boAt has got a number of them under its belt and just a couple of days back, the Rockerz 330 Pro was launched in India in partnership with Canadian singer and rapper AP Dhillon. The brand has now announced the Rockerz 333 Pro. The two have the same features and design but the difference is that the 333 Pro comes with braided wires. Also, the Rockerz 330 Pro is sold on Amazon while the Rockerz 333 Pro is sold exclusively on Flipkart.
The earbuds share a design with the Rockerz 333 that was launched earlier in the year but the endurance is twice that of the Rockerz 333 which delivers 30 hours of playback on a single charge. The new earbuds also feature what boAT calls ASAP fast charging that can offer up to 20 hours of playback after only 10 minutes of charging.
The Rockerz 333 Pro equally comes with 10mm drivers as well as ENx technology that can deliver exceptional voice quality. The design also includes magnetic earbuds that ensure the two buds don’t keep dangling around your neck when not in use.
In terms of design, the boAt Rockerz 333 Pro adopts a lightweight, minimalistic design. The headset also comes with an IPX5 water and sweat resistance rating which makes it suitable for use during workout sessions. In addition, the neckband delivers in-line playback and volume controls.
Talking of the pricing and availability, the boAt Rockerz 333 Pro carries a price tag of Rs. 1,499 ($20). The neckband will be available in Active Black and Navy Blue colours.

POCO X3 GT and Redmi 9 Prime are the newest handsets to get access to the current fresh version of MIUI.
The update is live for the global variant of the POCO device with build number V12.5.7.0.RKPMIXM. Whereas, the Redmi phone, which is sold in India gets the update with build number V12.5.2.0.RJCINXM.
The original versions of these smartphones called Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G and Redmi 9 have already got the update in China a while back. The remaining regional variants of these handsets should also start receiving the update in the coming days.
As usual, the latest system update for the above-mentioned devices is being pushed out in batches. This means it will take some time to reach every unit. Anyway, all users should get the update.
The Redmi Note 11T 5G was launched late last month in India as the successor to the Redmi Note 10T 5G, which debuted earlier this year as the first 5G-enabled Redmi Note series phone. It will be going on sale on 7th December for the first time through Amazon and Mi.com, starting at a price of ₹15,999.
But of course, the Redmi Note 11T 5G isn’t the only phone you can grab at this price range, so we’ll be pitching it up here against other offerings in the segment – the realme 8 and Redmi Note 10 Pro – to see if it’s worth your money.
Redmi Note 11T 5G specs overview
Let’s start off by taking a quick look at the specifications of the Redmi Note 11T 5G alone. The device has an FHD+ 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass protection. It is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset – a decent processor capable of handling much more over your day-to-day tasks – that’s paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
For photography, the Redmi Note 11T 5G has a dual-camera setup at the rear comprised of a 50-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. Upfront, there’s a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. All of the device’s components get their juice from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Other non-essential but good-to-have stuff includes an IR blaster and an X-axis linear motor.
Redmi Note 11T 5G vs realme 8 5G
When put up against the realme 8 5G that starts at ₹15,499, the Redmi Note 11T 5G is a clear winner. It’s got a newer 50MP camera sensor that should result in better images, a noticeably more powerful processor (Dimensity 810 vs 700), stereo speakers, and much faster charging (33W vs 18W). There’s even an IP53 water resistance rating.
realme 8 5G
However, realme users continue to swear by realme UI, which is arguably less buggy and more fluid compared to Xiaomi’s MIUI. The realme 8 currently runs realme UI 2.0 while the Note 11T 5G runs MIUI 12.5, both based on Android 11. Other than this, the realme 8 5G is slimmer (8.5mm vs 8.8mm) and lighter, so that’s another plus.
Redmi Note 11T 5G vs Redmi Note 10 Pro
When put up against Redmi’s own Redmi Note 10 Pro, however, it becomes a tougher call. Both phones may sport processors that are nearly alike in terms of performance, but the Redmi Note 10 Pro misses out completely on 5G, which can be a dealbreaker for some.
Redmi Note 10 Pro
The gaping hole that the lack of 5G leaves is filled in by other stuff, though. The Redmi Note 10 Pro features a much more premium design with Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back. This is paired with a beautiful 120Hz 6.67-inch AMOLED with support HDR10+, something the Redmi Note 11T lacks. The phone’s even got a more pixel-dense 64MP shooter.
But the better specs do come at a cost – the Redmi Note 10 Pro is priced ₹2,000 higher at ₹17,999.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it all comes down to preference. The Redmi Note 11T 5G is clearly a better buy over the realme 8 judging from raw specs alone. But if you prefer a smoother software experience, the latter would be more preferable.
On the other hand, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is better in quite a few departments over the Redmi Note 11T 5G, but lacks 5G and costs more. If 5G is more important than raw specs to you, then the Redmi Note 11T will surely be a better buy over the Redmi Note 10 Pro.
So what do you think? Will you be getting the Redmi Note 11T 5G when it goes on sale tomorrow? If yes, then let us know what you liked about it in the comments below. And if your decision is a no, then let us know what you liked about the realme 8 or Redmi Note 10 Pro more.
