Meizu PRO 7 with Dual Screen Design Spotted In a Commercial

The dual screen design of the Meizu Pro 7 is all but officially confirmed. The design has featured in several leaked renders, including a video render which appeared online showing the Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus from all angles. The Meizu Pro 7 has once again appeared in a leak which claims the device was spotted in a TV commercial in China.meizu pro 7

The Pro 7 is tipped to launch later this month along with the Pro 7 Plus so, it would really not be a surprise if Meizu has started its advert campaign as a way of preparing the ground for a successful launch. We couldn’t lay our hands on the video clip but the screenshots that were leaked shows a man holding the Pro 7. Even though the images are a bit grainy, we can still make out that this is the Pro 7 design we have been seeing so often.Meizu Pro 7

BlackBerry Opens Official Weibo Account, Signals Return To China

Blackberry seems to be making a move to reenter the Chinese market. Although TCL, one of the companies with a license to release smartphones under the BlackBerry name is a Chinese company, its home country hasn’t gotten any of the new releases. It appears that might be changing soon.

BlackBerry KEYOne

Recently, BlackBerry opened an official WeChat account under the name “BlackBerryMobile”, now it has opened an official account on Weibo. The general consensus is that the smartphone company is trying to create a social media presence before launching its new products.

Two phones have been released this year under the Canadian brand. There is the BlackBerry KeyOne that was announced at MWC 2017 and there is the Indonesian exclusive BlackBerry Aurora. The latter isn’t made by TCL but by a joint venture company called PT BB Merah Putih. The Aurora is also the first dual SIM Blackberry phone ever.

Moto Z2 Force Leaked Ahead Of Launch On Motorola China Website

There is a high chance that the Moto Z2 Force will be unveiled on July 25 during the #HelloMotoWorld event. The new flagship is said to feature some design changes and new features, key being dual rear cameras.

Over the past few weeks we have seen the device show up on benchmark sites and in leaked press images. Today, we get to see Motorola tease the upcoming device.

Moto Z2 Force

If you head to the Moto Mods page for China, you should see the Moto Z2 Force staring you in the face. It is actually the same image from the Moto Mods article last night but surprisingly I didn’t notice it. The phone is shown with its back bare and also with the 360° camera mod and the TurboPower battery mod slapped on.

There are visible design changes between the Moto Z2 Force and Moto Z Force. First, the Moto Z2 Force comes with dual cameras although the overall camera design is still the same. The dual sensors are housed in the same circular housing and the LED flash still keeps the same arc design from the previous model.

Subtle changes include the redesigned back which is now plain but still looks like its a fingerprint magnet; the antenna lines; and the area around the moto mod pins.

Apple iPhone 8’s Release Will Turn Apple into a World’s First Trillion Dollar Firm, Claims Analyst

The Apple iPhone 8 is expected to debut in September this year. Rumors have revealed that it will be coming with overhaul improvements and it will be launched in celebration of the tenth anniversary of iPhones. In May, Apple reached its all-time high stock price of $156.10 and the Cupertino company’s present value is $752 billion. Brian White, an analyst with Drexel Hamilton has revealed that Apple could become first company in the world to cross one trillion mark.

White claims that the 10th anniversary iPhone 8 would help the company to achieve the remarkable milestone. He adds that Apple is the “the most underappreciated stocks in the world” as its Price-Earning is 16:9. What does this mean? It indicates that the stock price of the Cupertino company is worth $16.90 for every $1 share in net earnings. The Price-Earnings ratio of other companies more than twice of that of Apple.

The Cupertino company reached bottom in May 2016 and the forthcoming iPhone release in September would possibly allow the Cupertino company to reach the $202 target set by the analyst firm by the next 12 months. The much-anticipated iPhone 8 would represent the biggest technological leap for the Apple iPhone ever.  It is expected to come with edge-to-edge OLED panel, more RAM, Apple A11 chipset, enhance battery with wireless charging, all-glass design, improved waterproofing and more. Also, the launch of Apple HomePod in December this year would also help in increasing its revenue. If this happens, Apple would become a trillion-dollar company.

It may appear that Apple’s shares will increasing with time ahead, but touching a trillion mark will be not easy for the company because of its existing share repurchasing program. In May, the company confirmed that the limit for share repurchasing will be increased to $210 billion from $175 billion. The Cupertino company has around 5.4 billion shares outstanding which indicates that the Apple needs to hit a stock price of $185 to reach the revenue goal that no company has achieved so far.

Before spilling information about the Galaxy J7 (2017) Chinese edition, the leakster had claimed that the Galaxy C10 (2017) would be the first Samsung phone with dual rear cameras. However, fresher information suggests that the arrival of the Galaxy C10 (2017) may have been delayed because of it’s the high demand of the Snapdragon 660 chipset that will be not only powering but also other upcoming mid-range smartphones.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Launching Soon? Leaked Shot of its Package Has Surfaced

Xiaomi is rumored to be working on Redmi Note 5 phablet. In the past week, the alleged specs and photos were through an unofficial source. Today, a leaked photo showing the several packages of a phone called Note 5A has surfaced.

In the previous year, Xiaomi had released Redmi 4A, Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime smartphones. Among these, the Redmi 4A came with the lowest specs compared to the other two models. The newly leaked image shows that the boxes belong to the alleged Redmi Note 5A smartphone. The boxes are red in color and has a Mi logo placed at the right corner.

The Redmi Note 5A may debut as a lower version of the Redmi Note 5. However, nothing is known on the specifications and features of the alleged Redmi Note 5A. The Redmi 4A came with a plastic body and a smaller battery compared to Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime smartphones. Hence, the purported Redmi Note 5A is speculated to feature a polycarbonate body and a smaller battery than the Redmi Note 5. Also, the Redmi Note 5A may come with an affordable pricing than the Note 5.

In the previous week, the Redmi Note 5 specifications, features and pricing were revealed by a Weibo user. Even though it revealed all the information about the Redmi Note 5, the images on the page appeared to be a creation of a Xiaomi fan. Hence, the Redmi Note 5 information that was revealed cannot be completely trusted.

[envira-gallery id=”140007″]

The above images show that the Redmi Note 5A would be arriving with a full HD screen of 5.5 inches and the Snapdragon 630 chipset will be fueling the phablet. The screen would be coupled with slimmer bezels on its sides. Hence, the Redmi Note 5 may come out as the first Xiaomi phone with Snapdragon 630 chipset. The lower edition Redmi Note 5A may not feature this chipset.

For photography, the Redmi Note 5 would be featuring a f/2.0 Sony Exmor 16-megapixel sensor on the rear side. The front panel is expected to feature a f/2.0 Sony Exmor 13-megapixel selfie camera. The rear-facing camera is expected to carry 4K video recording and impressive low-light photography support. The thickness of Redmi Note 4 is 8.5mm. However, in a bid to reduce the slimness of the Redmi Note 5 to 8 mm, the phablet may house a smaller battery of 3,790mAh battery. It will come loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat overlaid with MIUI 9.

It is expected to come in models such as 3 GB + 32 GB, 4 GB + 32 GB and 4 GB + 64 GB. The 4 GB RAM variants are speculated to cost around $200 and $220, respectively.

Likely Meizu Pro 7’s Camera Sample Photo Shared By Senior VP

Meizu continues to tease its upcoming flagship model ahead of its launch which rumour says is coming up later this month. We have seen a lot of renders of the Pro 7 that we already have our fill of the design and just want to have the chance to see if the hardware is as powerful as the design. Perhaps, a benchmark test would suffice in that regard but we’ll have to wait a little longer. Instead of a benchmark for the Helio X30 the device would feature, the latest detail seems to be a sample photo shot by the Pro 7.Meizu Pro 7

The photo was shared on Weibo recently by Meizu’s new VP Jeffery Wang and he did not in any way hint at the camera with which the photo was shot. But one major tip that got us suspecting this is the Pro7’s photo is that the phone the Meizu VP was using was listed by Weibo as “Meizu phone”. Now, Weibo usually displays the exact smartphone or device posts were sent it from n but in this case, the only thing displayed is “Meizu phone”. This could be as a result of the model not being recognised since it is a new one that is yet to be released.Meizu Pro 7

Read More: More Meizu Pro 7 Pictures Leaked, Shows Off Rear LCD Panel

In addition, the photo contains one feature that makes it unlikely to be shot by the Pro 6s, Pro 6 Plus or earlier Meizu flagship models. That feature is a blurred background captured in a manner that suggests a dual camera setup at play. The Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus are expected to feature a 12MP Sony IMX386+ 12MP Sony IMX286 sensors at the back while there will be a 16MP front-facing selfie camera up front. The dual cameras are capable of capturing such crisp clear photo with a focus on the subject, thus blurring the background. The Pro 7 is also expected to be the first smartphone to launch with MedaTek’s Deca-core Helio X30 chip and that could also contribute to the amazing shot captured. But then, we can’t be so sure if this was actually shot by the Pro 7. Since it was shared on Weibo, there is no way to check the EXIF data of the photo.

Everyone is looking forward to HMD Global unveiling its  flagship device, the Nokia 9. We have seen the device appear on benchmarking sites and even live images although wrapped up in a case. It is said to have even gotten its FCC certification, so we believe a launch isn’t far off.

Today, we have images of cases for the Nokia 9 and they do reveal a number of features, some which we already know. The cases come in different colors but the design is the same.

[envira-gallery id=”139974″]

There is a cut-out for dual cameras at the back in a vertical position and that’s about all there is on the rear. The case shows the power button and volume rocker will be on the right and the audio jack will be at the top.

The bottom of the phone is where the USB type-C port and primary microphone are placed. There is a single cut-out flanking the charging port on the left and that is definitely for the speakers.

New Xiaomi Phone With 6GB of RAM and 4000mAh Battery Launching on July 11, Mi 6 Plus?

The first part of the year was exciting for Xiaomi. First, they announced a ceramic white version of the Mi MIX at CES 2017, then they launched the Redmi Note 4X, the Redmi 4X and threw in more variants of both devices. The highlight was the launch of the Mi 6, the first flagship of the year. We should also not forget the Mi Max 2.

To begin the second half, Xiaomi has a new device set for launch on Monday, 11th of July and we are really excited about it. The official Weibo account for Xiaomi’s Store had released a new poster teasing the device by releasing a key detail. That key spec is the RAM which is a massive 6GB.

Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus 6GB RAM

Now, this isn’t Xiaomi’s first phone with 6GB of RAM. The Mi 5s Plus, Mi Note 2, Mi MIX and Mi 6 all come with that amount of RAM. However, we are still excited because Xiaomi is advertising it as a big deal for this mysterious device.

Following the teaser poster, the account also released a very short video releasing more key specs and that is where things get more interesting.

The video reveals the processor belongs to the Snapdragon 800 series, storage is UFS and RAM is DDR4. It also says the phone has a 3D glass body and the display is large. Next bit of info is the battery which comes in at 4000mAh and the camera which is 22MP, can record 4K and has a smart beauty mode.

The video doesn’t end there but also mentions full 4G netcom, a USB Type-C port with support for Quick Charge, an IR blaster, and NFC.

Since Huawei P20 is supposed to arrive as a flagship phone with greatest specs, it seems unlikely that that the P20 would be launching with Kirin 960 this year.

Huawei is heavily pegged to debut the Huawei Mate 10 flagship this year in October and it is expected to be the first smartphone from the company to come with Kirin 970 chipset. The HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset is homegrown 10nm SoC from Huawei that is rumored to feature eight cores of Cortex A73 along with Mali-G71MP12.

The Mate 10 is speculated to feature a 6-inch display that will produce a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels as it is rumored to support an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is also rumored to feature 3D sensing camera and the flagship is also expected to offer AR capabilities. Since the Huawei Mate 10 is rumored to break cover in October, it is unlikely to release another powerful phone like Huawei P20 with Kirin 960 to disturb the sales of Mate 10.

Sony Plans To Release 3 New Walkman Later This Year

A long time ago, if you owned a Sony Walkman, you were a cool kid or probably the coolest kid on the block. Then the iPod came and it changed the way we listened to music, killing all other portable music players.

Sony kept the Walkman name by including it in some of its smartphones when it still partnered with Ericsson. The Walkman series is still alive as Sony has now fully embraced digital music.

Sony Walkman NW-A35

The Japanese company has released a number of digital audio devices under the name and even a pair of bluetooth earphones. This year Sony launched the NW-A35 Walkman, a portable Hi-Res digital player that fits into your pocket. New reports says it is adding three more later this year.

The new Walkmans are the NW-A45, NW-A46, and the NW-A47. All three of them have passed through the FCC already.

The FCC sheet doesn’t reveal much but the main difference among the three is the built-in storage. The A45 will have 16GB, the A46 doubles that to 32GB, and the A47 maxes out at 64GB. So, if you say the A45 is the base model and the other two are only storage variants, you are correct.
