Gigabyte has launched the MO27Q28GR gaming monitor in the US after showing it at CES 2026 last month. It uses LG Display’s 280Hz Tandem OLED panel with 4th Gen WOLED technology and Primary RGB Tandem OLED architecture. The panel reaches up to 1,500 nits peak brightness in HDR, covers 99.5% DCI-P3 and 84% BT.2020 color gamut, and reduces power consumption by about 20% compared to third-generation WOLED displays.

The monitor has a 27-inch QHD OLED panel with a 2560 × 1440 resolution, 280Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms GTG response time. Intel recently unveiled its Core Ultra mobile processor lineup, also known as Intel Meteor Lake. OEMs have started announcing laptops featuring these new chips with GIGABYTE being the latest of the bunch.

GIGABYTE has debuted the refreshed AORUS 17 and AORUS 15 laptops for 2023, featuring NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs and the new Intel Core Ultra 7 processors.

The AORUS 17 and AORUS 15 laptops are great for gaming and creative tasks as they come with expandable DDR5 memory. They use Intel Core Ultra 7 processors, known as “Meteor Lake,” which have the Intel AI Boost Engine to make the battery last longer. The AORUS 17 has NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPUs for powerful graphics, and it uses NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technology to switch between graphics processors for better performance and battery life.

These laptops have WINDFORCE Infinity cooling technology to manage temperature effectively. The design includes thin thermal fins that increase the cooling area while keeping the laptop compact.

This monitor features a curved screen provided by Samsung with a DQHD resolution of 5120 x 1440 and a curvature of 1800R, designed to offer a more immersive experience. The display supports a high 144Hz refresh rate, ultra-fast 0.03ms response time (GtG), and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro making it ideal for fast-paced games.

One of the key highlights of the AORUS CO49DQ is its “OLED Care” functionality. This feature uses an AI-based algorithm to protect the OLED screen from burn-in issues, although the effectiveness of this technology is yet to be confirmed through third-party tests.

In terms of color accuracy and quality, the monitor shines with a 10-bit color depth, a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, and a 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, certified by VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400. This makes it suitable not only for gaming but also for professional tasks like video and music editing, where color precision is critical.

The AORUS CO49DQ also boasts a wide range of connectivity options, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB Type-C port with 18W reverse power delivery, and an audio jack. It also features KVM and hub functions, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and comes with two 5W speakers.

Ergonomically, the monitor offers a tilt range from -5° to +20° and swivel capabilities between -20° and +20°. However, it does not have a pivot or height adjustment feature. It is compatible with VESA wall mounting with a 100×100 mm pattern and includes a Kensington lock.

The monitor’s dimensions with the stand are approximately 1194.78 x 558.80 x 261.52 mm, while without the stand, it measures about 615.11 x 367.35 x 42.22 mm. The built-in power supply is designed for efficiency, with a maximum power consumption of 72 watts.

The release date and pricing for the new ultrawide gaming monitor have not been disclosed as of now.

After launching the GIGABYTE G5 series gaming laptops last year, the brand is back with an affordable and up-to-date refresh called the GIGABYTE G5 series. The brand has announced that these laptops will come with 13th Gen Intel CPUs paired with an Nvidia RTX 4050 or 4060 GPU. More details can be found below.

GIGABYTE G6 gaming laptop specs

The top-end GIGABYTE G6 gaming laptop is powered by up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card and a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13620H processor. The video card has 8GB of GDDR6 memory and the CPU can boost up to 4.9 GHz. The laptop features a 16-inch FHD+ (WUXGA) display with a high 165Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio.

To keep temperatures in check during intense gaming sessions, the G6 incorporates the WINDFORCE Cooling System and dual large fans. It supports dual-channel DDR5-4800 RAM and PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

Weighing approximately 2.3 kilograms, it’s relatively lightweight for a gaming laptop of this caliber. The laptop also features DLSS 3 upscaling technology for enhanced graphics quality and a next-generation Wi-Fi 6E for fast and stable wireless connectivity. Additionally, it includes an RJ45 Ethernet port for reliable wired networking.

It has a 15-color backlight keyboard with 2.0mm key travel and a dedicated numeric keypad. We recently got to know that Gigabyte is working on the revision of the popular M27QX gaming monitor. Now, the brand has also revealed that it will soon be launching a new curved monitor in the market called the Gigabyte GS34WQC.

The Gigabyte GS34WQC curved monitor offers a sizable 34-inch panel with 1500R curvature. It has a 3440 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution VA panel that comes with an anti-glare coating on the surface, ensuring clear visuals without unwanted reflections.

The monitor boasts a wide color gamut covering 120% sRGB of the sRGB spectrum. The brightness can go up to 300 nits and the contrast ratio is 4000:1. While being a VA panel, it still offers a wide viewing angle of 178°(H)/178°(V) ensuring clear visuals from various angles.

In addition to that, the monitor is also suitable for gaming as it comes with a quick 1ms (MPRT) response time along with a 120Hz refresh rate, that can be further over-clocked up to 135Hz. The monitor is HDR Ready, enhancing the dynamic range and visual depth. Flicker-free technology and HBR3 compatibility contribute to a comfortable viewing experience.

Connectivity options include 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, and an earphone jack. The monitor features power-saving modes with consumption as low as 0.5W in power-saving mode and 0.3W in power-off mode. It has a tilt angle ranging from -5° to +20°. The height adjustment feature allows up to 100mm of adjustment. VESA wall mounting compatibility is supported with a 100×100 mm configuration. The monitor’s net weight is approximately 8.38 kg with the stand and 6.08 kg without it.

Back in 2021, Gigabyte launched the M27QX gaming monitor which was excellent for gaming as well as editing media. Unfortunately, the brand does not sell the M27QX monitors anymore. To the delight of many, Gigabyte has now decided to launch a new revision of the monitor called the Gigabyte M27QX rev. 2.0.

The Gigabyte M27QX rev. 2.0 comes with a 27-inch SuperSpeed In-Plane Switching (SS IPS) panel with 2560 x 1440 (QHD) resolution. It offers up to 240Hz refresh rate with a 1ms response time ensuring smooth gameplay. The monitor boasts a brightness of 350nits, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and HDR400 support. In addition to that, the monitor is also capable of displaying 1.07 billion colors, with coverage of 94% DCI-P3 color gamut.

Unique features such as OSD Sidekick, Aim Stabilizer Sync, Black Equalizer, Dashboard, Crosshair, Timer, Counter, PiP/PbP, Auto-Update, KVM, 6-axis Color Control, and Smart OD are also available on the M27QX rev. 2.0.

At CES 2023, Gigabyte has announced two new laptops under its gamer-focussed AORUS brand. The latest offerings are AORUS 17X and AORUS 15X. They are touted to pack premium and top-of-the-line specifications. The two new machines are identical to each other except for a few differences. Read on to know more below. 

As the name suggests, the Gigabyte AORUS 17X sports a 17.3-inch display bearing a QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the AORUS 15X has a 15.6-inch screen with a QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. The laptops feature an aluminium alloy chassis and are said to be super thin measuring 21.8mm. There is a customisable RGB lightbar and a backlit keyboard. 

Under the hood, the Gigabyte AORUS 17X and 15X house up to 13th generation Intel Core i9 HX processors. The former packs up to 16GB GDDR5 RTX4090 GPU whereas the latter maxes out at up to 8GB GDDR6 RTX4070. There is up to 175W TGP allowing users to play games at ultra-fast frame rates. Both machines come with up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen4x4 SSD. There is a Windforce Infinity cooling technology with a vapour chamber and dual fans for heat dissipation. 

The Gigabyte AORUS 17X and 15X run on Windows 11 OS out of the box. The machines support 100W power delivery via the Thunderbolt 4 port.

The laptops feature WINDFORCE cooling technology that comprises dual fans, 5 heat pipes, and four exhaust vents.

The GIGABYTE G5 series laptops are backed by a 54WHrs battery unit with support for 150W charging on GE and ME models. The KE variant supports 180W charging speed. Connectivity options on the laptops include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, three USB Type-A ports, a USB-C port, HDMI, an SD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack

The GIGABYTE G5 series gaming laptops start at Rs 77,887. They are available for purchase from Flipkart and offline retail stores across the country.

Gigabyte has launched a new range of gaming laptops in India called the Gigabyte G5 series. The lineup includes the G5 GD, G5 MD, and G5 KD laptops. The main difference between these laptops is the GPUs included within. So, let’s take a look at what these machines have to offer.

The laptops in the Gigabyte G5 series have a 15.6-inch IPS LCD screen with an FHD+ resolution. It provides a peak brightness of 300 nits and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The laptops have a backlit keyboard with up to 15 pre-programmed backlit colors.

Intel’s 11th Gen Core i5-11400H (2.7GHz~4.5GHz) CPUs power the laptop. NVIDIA RTX 3050, RTX 3050Ti, and RTX 3060 GPUs are installed in the GD, MD, and KD models, respectively. The laptops have 512GB NVMe SSD storage and 16GB RAM. Additionally, there are two M.2 slots and a swappable bay with a maximum storage capacity of 6TB. The laptops have WINDFORCE cooling technology, which has a 150W maximum cooling efficiency.

For audio, the laptop comes with 2W speakers with DTS:X audio technology and two-way AI noise cancellation. The 48.96WHrs battery unit powering the GIGABYTE G5 series laptops supports 150W charging on the GD and MD variants. 180W charging speed is supported for the KD model. Nvidia has recently launched new versions of the its RTX 3000 series of GeForce graphics cards. This included the RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti. While the latter is one of the most powerful GPU currently in the market, it launched with 12GB of VRAM despite various rumors going around that stated it had 20GB of VRAM. But now, new information recently surfacing has revealed that the 20GB variant is actually real.

The news arrives from a tweet from @momomo_US, which shared a new listing on TechPowerUp that showcases a Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Xtreme (GV-N308TAORUS X-20GD) GPU that features 20GB of GDDR6X memory. The first reports of this 20GB version had appeared back in December 2020 in an EEC listing from Gigabyte. Comparing the model Aorus RTX 3080 Ti that is currently available in the market, the only real difference between the two cards is the VRAM and most other aspects like clock speeds for the memory remains the same.

Although, the 20GB model does feature a smaller memory interface. The packaging and the CPU-Z screenshot show a 320 bit memory bus on the 20GB RTX 3080 Ti over the 384 bit interface in the 12GB version. In other words, the higher memory version would;ve offered lower memory bandwidth. As of right now, this rare 20GB version is in the hands of a Russian cryptominer that somehow managed to get the card.

Unfortunately, it is unknown what the sizeable amount of VRAM was intended for as the RTX 3080 had distinctly lower memory compared to the 3090 as it was primarily intended for gaming. Modern titles do not require such high VRAMs although certain professional apps would benefit from this boost in memory. So, it might have been the middle ground between the expensive RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 that was good for both workloads.

The one of Chinese PC manufacturer, Gigabyte is showing the nice device on CES 2014, the Gigabyte BRIX fanless PC, as youcan guess on the name, this is the mini-PC box without fan.

The new Gigabyte BRIX is comes eith small size 4.5 inch x 4.2 inch x 1.9 inch body dimension, little larger than Raspberry Pi but has a simillar size with Mac Mini. Wile the body design is more extreme with metal plate, the passive heat sink built into the case should be enough to keep this little computer from overheating.

Powered by Celeron Bay Trail-M processor, the chipset is more powerfull than regular Atom processor and has lower power consumption, yhat means this CPU is also lower heat too.

The company brings this device asthe barbones PC, but has WiFi, Bluetooth, VGA and Ethernet is integrated inside, there is 3 USB ports (2 ports using USB 2.0 technology and 1 ports is using USB 3.0), has one single slot for RAM and 2.5 inch drive bay.
