Around a week ago, the upcoming Motorola Razr 70 bearing the model number XT2657-2 was spotted on the TENAA certification platform in China. In a new development, the listing has now been updated with images of the phone. Additionally, the device has received approval from the 3C certification platform in China.

The Motorola Razr 70’s TENAA images do not show any major improvement in its design. The back panel features a horizontal dual-camera setup with an LED flash along with a large secondary screen. The bottom half has logos for the Motorola batwing and Razr branding. For security, it features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor along with volume buttons on the right edge.

The Razr 70’s 3C certification reveals that it may ship with 33W fast charging. This indicates that the Razr 70 may not offer any improvement in the fast charging department compared to last year’s Razr 60.

According to previously seen Razr 70’s TENAA listing, the upcoming Motorola Razr 70 is expected to feature a 6.9-inch OLED foldable display with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels, along with a 3.63-inch external screen offering a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels. The device is also tipped to include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Motorola has quietly introduced a new smartphone in its Edge 70 lineup. After launching the Edge 70 Fusion earlier this month and the Edge 70 in October 2025, the company has now added the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ 5G. The phone is currently listed on Motorola’s website in Brazil, with no confirmation yet about launches in other regions.

For now, the device appears to be limited to Brazil. Motorola may expand availability to other markets later, possibly across South America. It is also worth noting that the Edge 70 Fusion series can have different hardware depending on the region. The version sold in India, for example, differs from the one sold in other countries.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ focuses heavily on cameras. It features three 50MP cameras in its class. The main camera uses the Sony LYTIA 710 sensor. The phone also includes a 50MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie camera. In addition to these, Motorola has added a 10MP telephoto camera to support zoom photography.

The phone runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM and Motorola’s Intelligent RAM Boost feature to improve performance during multitasking. Storage is fixed at 256GB.

Launched earlier this month, the Realme Narzo Power stands out as the phone with the largest battery in this list. It houses an enormous 10,001mAh battery, which is far larger than the capacity typically seen in mainstream smartphones. The device also features 80W wired charging, allowing the massive battery to refill relatively quickly.

In addition to battery endurance, the Narzo Power offers competitive hardware for its segment. The brand is yet to reveal its design, but it is likely to have the same design language as the existing Z11 Turbo. At present, there’s no information about the phone’s availability outside the Chinese market.

Poco X8 Pro Max – 9,000mAh

The Poco X8 Pro Max is scheduled to launch globally on March 17. It is expected to become the largest battery phone from Poco so far. Reports suggest that the Indian variant may include a 9,000mAh battery, while the global model could feature a slightly smaller 8,550mAh unit.

The device is believed to be a rebranded version of China’s Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which also packs a 9,000mAh battery. If the specifications remain similar, the X8 Pro Max could offer a strong combination of performance and endurance in the upper mid-range segment.

Poco X8 Pro – 7,560mAh

A few years ago, this price range meant making obvious compromises, such as a good-enough processor, average cameras, and software that aged quickly. Fortunately, things are quite different in 2026.

Phones in this segment now come with bright OLED displays, capable chipsets, and batteries that comfortably last a full day. Some even borrow features from devices that cost twice as much. 

Here are the five best smartphones under $500 in March 2026.

Google Pixel 10a

Google’s Pixel A-series has long been the go-to option for people who want a simple Android phone that just works. The Pixel 10a continues that trend. 

Like previous models in the series, the phone focuses heavily on software and camera processing. The camera hardware itself is relatively modest compared to competitors in this list, but Google’s image processing tends to make up for it.

The Phone (4a) Pro is Nothing’s brand new option for a phone under $500. It keeps the company’s recognizable design language while trying to feel more polished than earlier models.

The phone includes a new Glyph Matrix on the back, which is a circular LED display made up of 137 LEDs. It can show things like a timer, a stopwatch, and such. 

Under the surface, the Phone (4a) Pro runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and features a 6.83-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with 5000 nits of peak brightness.

As for the camera system, you get a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C sensor for the main camera with optical image stabilization. This is paired with a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope camera offering 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. 

Nothing’s software is also fairly clean, which helps the phone feel responsive. The Phone (4a) Pro is not the most powerful option here, but it’s arguably the one with the most personality.

OnePlus 15R

OnePlus has traditionally used its “R” series to deliver strong performance at lower prices, and the 15R follows the same idea.

The phone focuses on two things: speed and battery life. It runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 paired with a dedicated chip that enables 3200Hz of touch sampling rate. 

Speaking of which, it has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display that refreshes at 165Hz. This screen is also PWM capable, HDR 10+, and Dolby Vision certified with a peak brightness of 3600 nits. 

Its biggest highlight, though, is the battery. The 15R includes a 7400mAh battery that can comfortably last through a full day and often stretch into a second day depending on usage. It supports 80W fast charging. 

You also get a fairly decent camera specs of 50MP-megapixel Sony IMX906 main sensor with optical image stabilization, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. There is no dedicated telephoto camera here, so zoom relies on digital cropping.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion

Motorola’s Edge Fusion series has quietly become one of the more balanced options in the midrange market. The Edge 70 Fusion continues that pattern.

Rather than focusing on one standout feature, the phone aims for overall balance. It includes a capable Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, a smooth6.78-inch curved OLED display, and a relatively clean version of Android 16. 

The device carries a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 68W fast charging, which the company claims can provide a full day’s usage with a short charge.

Its camera hardware includes a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 710 primary camera with optical image stabilisation. The setup also includes a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera with macro support and a dedicated light sensor.

The Edge 70 Fusion is the most affordable option on this list. Its 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 26,999 (~$300), the 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs 29,999 (~$330), and the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 32,999 (~$360). 

Realme 16 Pro

Realme often competes in the midrange market by focusing on big numbers in the spec sheet, and the 16 Pro is no different.

One of the first things you notice is the battery. The phone includes a 700mAh battery, which can easily last more than a day with moderate use. It supports 80W wired charging. 

On the front, it has a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach a whopping 6500 nits of peak brightness and is protected by AGC DT Star D+ glass. 

Cameras include a 200MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide on the back. The front has a 50MP selfie camera. Powering everything is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max 5G chipset with an Arm Mali G615 GPU. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. 

Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock, and all standard sensors.

The midrange market keeps getting better

The TENAA listing reveals that the Motorola Razr 70 will feature a 6.9-inch OLED screen with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels and a 3.63-inch cover display with a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels. For security, it will have a side-facing fingerprint sensor.

Moving on to the optics, the Razr 70 will feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a dual 50-megapixel camera setup on the back. In comparison, the Razr 60 from last year came with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, along with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Under the hood, the Razr 70 has a 2.75GHz octa-core chip with 8GB / 12GB / 16GB / 18GB of RAM. It appears that it will have a different chip, as the Razr 60 featured a 2.6GHz Dimensity 7400x SoC.

The Razr 70 may come in storage options such as 128GB / 256GB / 512GB / 1TB. It has a 4,275mAh rated dual-cell battery, with a combination of 1,090mAh and 3,185mAh. Likely, the typical value could be 4,500mAh, the same as the previous generation. Finally, it will measure 171.3 x 73.9 x 7.2mm and weigh around 188 grams. According to DXOMARK’s rankings, this score places the device among the top cameras on foldable smartphones and ranks it 8th overall globally, beating competitors like the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Motorola’s recently launched Motorola Signature has also received the same label from the testing lab.

For those unaware, DXOMARK is an independent technology evaluation laboratory that measures the performance of consumer electronics using controlled scientific tests and perceptual analysis. To determine the score, the Razr fold was evaluated using the DXOMARK Camera test suite, which analyzes photo quality, zoom capability, and video performance from a user perspective.

Motorola has introduced two new wireless earbuds at MWC 2026 as part of its Moto Things ecosystem. The new models are the Moto Buds 2 Plus and the Moto Buds 2. Both earbuds focus on delivering strong audio performance, active noise cancellation, and smart features in a compact design with Pantone color finishes.

The Moto Buds 2 Plus are designed for users who move between work, calls, and entertainment throughout the day. The earbuds use Sound by Bose technology, tuned to deliver balanced and detailed audio.

They feature 11mm dynamic drivers for deeper bass and Knowles balanced armatures for improved clarity and precision. The earbuds support Hi-Res Audio with the Low-Latency High-Definition Audio Codec (LHDC) for high-quality wireless playback. Spatial Audio is also included to create a more immersive sound experience.

To reduce distractions, the Moto Buds 2 Plus include Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). This helps block outside noise while working or traveling. For calls, the earbuds use six microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation and a high signal-to-noise ratio to deliver clearer voice audio. Users can also enable CrystalTalk AI in the Moto Buds app, which uses AI noise reduction to improve voice clarity in loud environments.

The Moto Buds 2 support Dual Connection and use Bluetooth 6.0 for improved connectivity and faster speeds. A Gaming Mode in the Moto Buds app reduces audio latency for gaming. On supported Motorola devices, users can also access Moto AI features such as Catch Me Up, Pay Attention, and Remember This by holding the earbuds.

It has been just a couple of days since Google released the first Android 17 beta. We were expecting third-party manufacturers to launch the Android 17 beta program in a few weeks, as has typically been the case in the past, but Motorola had a different plan. The Android 17 beta program is live for Moto Edge 2025, Moto G57, and Moto G57 Power.

The Android 17 beta program for these Motorola smartphones is currently available in select regions, as Motorola posted on the official forum. We’ve listed the devices and supported regions below, along with the direct link to the official beta program page.

The Android 16 update is finally rolling out to Motorola’s most premium smartphones, Razr 2025 and Razr Ultra 2025, in the US, just as Google has released the first Android 17 beta. Both Razr phones entered Android 16 beta testing about half a year ago, and now, after a long wait, the stable update is finally here.

The Android 16 update for 2025’s Razr smartphones is currently available on T-Mobile and Verizon carriers in the US, as spotted by Ytechb. For the Razr 2025, the update arrives with the firmware version W1UC36H.96-35-1, whereas the Razr Ultra 2025 users can identify the update by the firmware version W1VL36H.59-55-5.

This is the first major OS update for the Razr 2025 and Razr Ultra 2025, which has a massive download size of about 4GB. It’s best to download such large packages over Wi-Fi and make sure the battery is at least 40% charged for a smooth upgrade to Android 16.

While it’s a major OS upgrade, don’t expect major visual changes or groundbreaking features. That said, there are still some useful upgrades and new features that further improve the software experience. It introduces a new notification cooldown feature that prevents you from getting annoyed when an app sends too many notifications from the same app within a short time. It does so by reducing the volume of incoming notifications for that particular app.

Android 16 lets you create custom models based on your needs, in addition to the existing modes, including Do Not Disturb, Bedtime, and Driving. You can also connect to a hotspot of a different device without entering the password, provided that both devices are logged in to the same Google account. The update also brings improvements to hearing aids, protection from malicious apps, and performance upgrades.

The Moto G17, which recently launched in parts of Europe, is already drawing criticism, and not because of its hardware. The issue is software support, or more specifically, how little of it Motorola is expected to offer.

The Moto G17 was announced last week as a refresh to the Moto G15. Changes are limited. The most noticeable upgrade is a 32MP front-facing camera, while most other specs remain familiar. The phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme and ships with Android 15, an OS version that first rolled out in mid-2024 and now feels a generation behind in early 2026.

On the UK product page, the company explicitly promises two years of security updates, taking coverage to around early 2028. There is no mention of any Android version upgrades.

The company points to EU Ecodesign regulations, which require manufacturers to provide security, corrective, and functionality updates for several years after a product stops being sold. Crucially, the rules only apply to major Android upgrades if a manufacturer chooses to offer them. That wording allows companies to meet legal requirements while skipping OS version updates entirely.

While this approach appears to comply with the letter of the law, it has not gone over well with critics. Budget rivals are doing far more. The Samsung Galaxy A17, for example, is promised up to six Android version updates, and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 15 line offers four years of OS upgrades.

At roughly £150, the Moto G17 still offers decent basics—a large display, IP64 protection, and a 50MP main camera. But buyers are being asked to accept limited long-term support in return.

Audio features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a built-in microphone. The phone also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, and ac with support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, NFC, FM radio, and USB Type-C.

Security features include a fingerprint reader, face unlock, Moto Secure, and ThinkShield protection. Software extras include Hello UX, Moto gestures, and Google Gemini voice control. Availability

The Moto G17 Power and Moto G17 are launching in select EMEA markets. The Moto G17 is priced starting at £149.99 in the UK for the 4GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/128GB model costs €199.99 in Germany. Motorola has yet to reveal the pricing for the Moto G17 Power.

Motorola is refreshing its midrange lineup in the UK and other global markets with two new models, Moto G77 and Moto G67. Both are big-screen phones with large batteries and durability features. The main difference comes down to performance, cameras, and how much you want to spend.

Moto G77 Specifications

The Moto G77 is positioned as the more premium option of the two. Motorola is clearly leaning on display quality and camera upgrades here.

The phone features a large 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is also plenty bright for outdoors with 5000 nits of peak brightness. 

On the camera side, the Moto G77 gets a 108-megapixel main sensor, which supports 3x lossless zoom. The main camera is paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide, while selfies are handled by a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

Inside, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chip, with options for 8GB or 12GB of RAM and storage going up to 512GB. Keeping the lights on is a 5,200mAh battery that supports 30W charging. Audio is handled by stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Rounding out the specs are IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, and Gorilla Glass 7i on the front. 

The phone launches in Pantone shades called Shaded Spruce and Black Olive, priced at £250 in the UK.

Moto G67 Specifications

The Moto G67 is a more budget-friendly take on the Moto G77. 

It keeps several features intact, like the 6.78-inch AMOLED display with the Gorilla Glass 7i protection and 120Hz refresh rate. The battery size, charging speed, and MIL-STD toughness rating are also the same as the G77. Where it cuts back is performance and cameras. 

The processor drops to a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The main camera is a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 600 sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide, and the water resistance rating is slightly lower at IP63. That said, the battery and charging specs are the same as the G77. 

Those compromises help bring the price down to £200. The Moto G67 will be available in Pantone colors named Arctic Seal and Nile.

The company has just updated the MFN Beta Testing page, showing that the Android 16 beta program is now open for four more devices: Edge 2024, Edge 40 Pro, Edge+ 2023, and Moto G35 5G. The beta program is available in select regions as mentioned in the following list:

• Motorola Edge 40 Pro – EMEA, LATAM
• Motorola Edge+ 2023 – US
• Moto G35 5G – India, EMEA

To get the Android 16 beta update, you need to submit an application to participate in the beta program. Once your application is approved, the Android 16 beta will be delivered to your Motorola phone via an OTA update.

Here’s how to participate in Motorola’s Android 16 beta program

1. Create an account on Motorola’s community website (if you haven’t already).
2. Visit the profile page and update your IMEI or serial number (SN) details.
3. Opt in for MFN on your Motorola community profile.
4. Always ensure that your phone is running the latest software.
5. Go to the MFN Beta Testing Opportunities page to see a testing opportunity for your Motorola device.
6. Tap on the registration link for your Motorola phone.
7. Fill in the required details and submit your application.

But we recently saw another great entry in this segment with the Motorola Signature. Both start at around Rs 59,999, bringing powerful chipsets, versatile cameras, and long software support, so here’s a side-by-side look at how these stack up across key areas to help you decide which one deserves a place in your pocket.

Design: Motorola shines here

At first glance, both phones deliver a premium aesthetic, but the execution is distinct in the two flagship killers. The Motorola Signature leans into a sleek, ultra-thin silhouette at just about 6.99mm thickness and approximately 186g weight, giving it a very refined in-hand feel. Its aircraft-grade aluminium frame, paired with a textile-inspired finish, elevates the experience. Both get the Sony LYT600 (1/1.95-inch sensor) for zoom photography, while the ultra wide angle lens is likely the Samsung JN1. Where the main difference lies with the main camera and the tuning. Motorola opts for a flagship grade Sony LYT828 sensor, which is the same camera that is found on much more expensive devices like the Oppo Find X9 Pro and Vivo X300 Pro.

This device also gets Pantone tuning for improved color accuracy, especially with skin tones. Meanwhile, the Vivo X200T has a smaller 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX921 sensor that is found on budget flagship models. So despite Zeiss’ expertise, Motorola has advantages in low light photography, even managing to hit the 7th spot in DxOMark’s smartphone camera rankings. The Signature with a 50MP selfie shooter offers better details as well thanks to autofocus support, which is lacking on the X200T’s 32MP front facing camera.

Battery & Charging: Vivo Swings Back

A clear advantage for the Vivo X200T is battery capacity. It has a massive 6,200mAh cell that offers 90W wired and 40W wireless fast charging that promises impressive. While the fast charging is matched by the Motorola Signature with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support. It has a much smaller 5,200mAh battery pack, since it has a slimmer body. You even get 10W wireless reverse charging support here.

Performance & Software

Under the hood, the Motorola Signature is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, one of the fastest mobile chipsets of 2026, that ensures great performance in games, multitasking, and creative workflows. On the other hand, the Vivo X200T counters with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+, which offers similar performance levels.

However, Motorola takes the lead with a much longer 7 years of OS updates with a light Hello UI skin. Vivo’s OriginOS 6 is a lot heavier and customizable, but you only get five years of Android updates. So the Signature has better software longevity.

Exactly a week ago, a report revealed everything we need to know about the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. The only thing it was short on was renders, but that gap has now been filled by a new report offering our first look at the company’s next mid-range phone.

First look at the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion

The images shared by YTECHB show the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion in Silhouette (Black) and Country Air shades. However, the phone will be available in three more color options: Blue Sirf, Orient Blue, and Sporting Green.

As you can expect from Motorola, all of these are Pantone-validated colors and are said to feature a nylon- and linen-inspired back panel.

Visually, the Edge 70 Fusion doesn’t look drastically different from its predecessor. That said, the camera module now features a glossy surface, and the Silhouette variant sports a gold-accented frame around it. On the front, the phone has minimal bezels and a hole-punch cutout for selfies.

Motorola has been rolling out Android 16 for quite some time now. The update has already reached over a dozen smartphones, including many Edge models and Moto G-series phones. Unfortunately, some premium Razr phones are still awaiting their turn. Among them was the Razr 2025, which is finally receiving the Android 16 update.

The Razr 2025 is sold as Razr 60 in some markets, including India. The Android 16 update for this foldable phone has the firmware version W1UC36H.96-24-4. While Motorola has yet to announce the rollout for Razr 2025, some users in India are receiving it already, as shared by them on Reddit. The update will soon expand to North America and the remaining regions.

As you can see in the screenshot, the update package has a hefty download size of 2.26GB. It’s best to use Wi-Fi to download such large packages. If you haven’t received a notification about the update, check for it manually by navigating to Settings > System updates > Check for updates. Please note that the rollout happens in phases, so it may take a few days to a few weeks to reach all users.

After being revealed in full, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has now surfaced on Geekbench with its performance numbers. 

The Edge 70 Fusion scored 1,215 points in the single-core test and 3,186 points in the multi-core test. The listing also confirms that the phone is running Android 16.

The benchmark data confirms the phone running on an octa-core Snapdragon chipset. The CPU layout includes one prime core clocked at 2.71 GHz, three performance cores capped at 2.40 GHz, and four efficiency cores running at 1.80 GHz. 

The configuration matches that of Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, but a recent leak claims the phone features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 instead. So for now, the exact chip remains unconfirmed, but it’s clear Motorola is sticking with a Snapdragon platform.

Geekbench also lists 11.14GB of RAM, which strongly suggests a 12GB RAM variant will be available at launch. Previous leak also suggests Motorola will be offering the phone in 8GB variant, both paired with 256GB of internal storage.

Motorola has launched the Signature smartphone in India, marking its entry into the premium flagship space with the new Signature series. First unveiled at CES 2026, the phone is just 6.99mm thick, making it one of the slimmest flagship smartphones available, while still delivering high-end hardware.

Motorola Signature feaatures

The body uses aircraft-grade aluminum with a quad-curved design. Despite the thin profile, Motorola didn’t skip on durability. The phone has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, surviving submersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and high-pressure water jets. It also meets MIL-STD-810H military standards. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the front. Two color options are available: Martini Olive with a golden-green twill-inspired finish and Carbon with a navy blue linen texture, both curated by Pantone.

The camera system is the main attraction. Motorola claims this is the first phone with four 50MP cameras, earning a DXOMARK Gold Label. All sensors come from Sony’s LYTIA lineup. The latest leak arrives from known tipster Sanju Choudhary, who shared the details on X (formerly Twitter). In his tweet, the Motorola Signature will reportedly have a starting price tag of just Rs 59,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the 12GB + 512GB variant costs Rs 64,999. Lastly, the top end 16GB + 1TB variant may go on sale for Rs Rs 69,999. For this price, users get flagship grade specs and features:
