<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-15-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi 15 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-12-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi 12 Pro</a> are premium flagship smartphones offering top-tier performance, stunning displays, and advanced cameras. While the 12 Pro set a high standard at launch, the 15 Pro introduces substantial upgrades in design, hardware, and features, catering to users seeking the latest innovations. This comparison delves into their standout features to help you decide which device best suits your needs. Whether you prioritize cutting-edge tech or great value, this breakdown highlights the key differences between these two impressive devices.</p>

<h3><strong>Design and Display</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="746" height="819" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-23.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-663180" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-23.png 746w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-23-273x300.png 273w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-23-696x764.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-23-383x420.png 383w" sizes="(max-width: 746px) 100vw, 746px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi 15 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Xiaomi 15 Pro showcases a refined design with IP68 water and dust resistance, offering durability unmatched by the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The 15 Pro retains the same 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display size but pushes the brightness to a remarkable 3200 nits, ensuring vivid visuals in any lighting condition. Meanwhile, the 12 Pro&#8217;s display maxes out at 1500 nits. Both phones provide 120Hz refresh rates and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, delivering a fluid and immersive viewing experience.</p>

<p>The inclusion of shatterproof glass in the 15 Pro represents a significant upgrade over the Gorilla Glass Victus used in the 12 Pro, enhancing durability. With its modern HyperOS 2 UI, the 15 Pro feels more premium and futuristic. If durability and a superior viewing experience are priorities, the Xiaomi 15 Pro takes the lead.</p>

<h3><strong>Specifications</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="776" height="677" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-24.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-663181" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-24.png 776w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-24-300x262.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-24-768x670.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-24-696x607.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-24-481x420.png 481w" sizes="(max-width: 776px) 100vw, 776px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi 12 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Xiaomi 15 Pro comes equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite (3 nm) chipset, a leap ahead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm) in the 12 Pro. This translates to significantly better performance and efficiency. The 15 Pro supports configurations up to 1TB storage and 16GB RAM, while the 12 Pro maxes out at 256GB and 12GB RAM. The UFS 4.0 in the 15 Pro also outclasses the UFS 3.1 in the 12 Pro, ensuring faster data handling.</p>

<p>Battery capacity sees an upgrade in the 15 Pro with a 6100 mAh Si/C battery compared to the 4600 mAh in the 12 Pro. Though the 15 Pro&#8217;s 90W wired charging is slightly slower than the 120W in the 12 Pro, its larger battery and superior efficiency more than compensate. For a future-proof powerhouse, the 15 Pro is the better choice.</p>

<h3><strong>Camera</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="584" height="792" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-25.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-663182" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-25.png 584w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-25-221x300.png 221w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-25-310x420.png 310w" sizes="(max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi 15 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Xiaomi 15 Pro boasts a versatile triple-camera system with Leica lenses and advanced video capabilities, including 8K HDR and Dolby Vision. Its 5x optical zoom and improved wide-angle capabilities outperform the 12 Pro’s 2x optical zoom and standard ultrawide setup. Both phones feature 50 MP sensors but the 15 Pro&#8217;s wider apertures and superior stabilization give it an edge in low-light performance and clarity.</p>

<p>Selfie cameras remain similar, but the 15 Pro offers 4K video recording, a clear step up from the 12 Pro&#8217;s 1080p limit. If photography or videography is a priority, the Xiaomi 15 Pro significantly raises the bar with professional-grade features.</p>

<h3><strong>Pricing</strong></h3>

<p>The Xiaomi 12 Pro is priced at approximately €440, while the 15 Pro launches at around €690. While the 15 Pro commands a higher price, the significant upgrades in processing power, battery, and camera justify the premium for users seeking cutting-edge technology.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For budget-conscious buyers, the 12 Pro remains a fantastic option, but the 15 Pro delivers more value for those willing to invest.</p>

<div class="wp-block-button"><a class="wp-block-button__link" href="https://www.giztop.com/xiaomi-15-pro.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Buy &#8211; Xiaomi 15 Pro </a></div>

</div>

<h3><strong>Conclusion</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="767" height="805" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-26.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-663183" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-26.png 767w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-26-286x300.png 286w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-26-696x730.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-26-400x420.png 400w" sizes="(max-width: 767px) 100vw, 767px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi 15 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Unique to the Xiaomi 15 Pro are its IP68 rating, shatterproof glass, two-way satellite communication, and Leica lens technology, making it a more robust and feature-packed device. The new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and HyperOS 2 also position it as a leader in performance and software innovation.</p>

<p>If you&#8217;re looking for groundbreaking features and a future-ready phone, the Xiaomi 15 Pro is the clear winner. However, for everyday use, the Xiaomi 12 Pro still provides excellent value with its flagship-tier capabilities.</p>

<p>There has been no news about how this malware may have affected the smartphones. The user who first reported about it <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/11u7qsv/mintnav_on_chrome_home_page/?share_id=twjBVBForY0QWEL6zhHLO&amp;utm_content=1&amp;utm_medium=android_app&amp;utm_name=androidcss&amp;utm_source=share&amp;utm_term=1">on Reddit</a> writes:</p>

<p><em>Hey, guys I have recently seen on all my Xiaomi phones that my Google Chrome home page was changed to a site named &#8220;Mintnav&#8221;, be careful to change it, I didn&#8217;t find any documentation about this site so I think it&#8217;s a scam (a thing that I found to many time made by Xiaomi)</em></p>

<p>After catching the news, several users on Twitter/X also complained about it, with one <a href="https://twitter.com/Cato_0001/status/1698193979563540936?t=EVIn8LSq1v2jJe50Upib1A&amp;s=19">even tagging</a> India’s Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology.</p>

<p>When we attempted to gather more information about this purported malware, we encountered a lack of comprehensive details. A tutorial website, <a href="https://howtoremove.guide/mintnav-virus/"><em>Howtoremove Guide</em></a>, states “Mintnav falls into the category of browser hijacker applications, and although it may not inflict significant direct harm, it can certainly be a source of considerable annoyance and disruption to your daily web browsing activities.”</p>

<p>While users&#8217; concerns are valid, it&#8217;s unclear how this unknown program made its way onto Xiaomi phones. We haven&#8217;t heard any complaints about Mintnav from users of other brands, so it&#8217;s possible that Xiaomi is somehow involved. It could be that this alleged malware appeared on Xiaomi smartphones after an update.</p>

<p>If you are getting this malware on your Chrome browser, you can remove it by going into your Chrome settings under &#8220;Homepage&#8221; and disabling the option or changing it to the default Chrome homepage.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/@GizmoChinaTube"></a></p>

<h2>XIAOMI 13 Pro</h2>

<p>Let’s start with the conclusion that Xiaomi 13 series is very likely to become another memorable model in the Xiaomi digital series. Especially for the Xiaomi 13 Pro, it’s no longer like previous Pro models and looks embarrassing sandwiched between the standard and the Ultra variants. The new Pro finally has the potential to beat the 12s Ultra and win the gold belt as the strongest Xiaomi Phone for this moment, although it still looks a bit ordinary and not so ‘Leica-like’ compared to the Ultra.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<iframe loading="lazy" title="Xiaomi 13 Pro Full Review Part 1: What a flagship should be [vs Xiaomi 12s Ultra]" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/yTgn0XdO0Hg?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
</div></figure>

<p>It&#8217;s not an easy task to surpass Xiaomi’s heaviest product of this year. The reason we’re so bullish on the Pro model is actually simple: in addition to the regular performance upgrades, the ordinary-looking camera module puts a lot of pressure on the Ultra, knowing that the camera performance is the proudest part of the Ultra model.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-04-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504103" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-04-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-04-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-04-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-04-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-04-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-04-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-04-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-04.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>But this is a truly full review of the Xiaomi 13 Pro, so we decided to divide it into two parts. This video will include most specs of the new phone except for its cameras, and next video we will talk about its camera performance. In some parts, we will compare it with another start model from Xiaomi, the 12s Ultra, such as performance and camera. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-27-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504104" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-27-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-27-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-27-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-27-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-27-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-27-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-27-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-27.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h3>Design</h3>

<p>Anyway, let’s start with its design. Well compared with the Standard variant, the Xiaomi 13 Pro doesn’t give us much surprise. It looks not really different from the flagships that we reviewed last few years. But Xiaomi did add something to the Pro model, such as the ceramic back cover and the bigger square camera module. But meanwhile, it also reminds us of the Xiaomi Mix 4. They both have a ceramic back cover and a square camera module.</p>

<div class="wp-block-column" style="flex-basis:50%">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-08-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504107" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-08-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-08-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-08-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-08-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-08-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-08-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-08-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-08.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi Mix 4</figcaption></figure>

</div>

<p>But unfortunately, as a result, it weighs about 235g, which is truly heavy in hand. Unlike the Xiaomi 13, the Pro still uses an edge-curved design, which does make it feel more comfortable to hold. And I have to say that the light-green ceramic is the most pleasing material that we’ve had on a Xiaomi phone, though it unavoidably makes the phone weigh more. But it actually feels a bit thinner and lighter than the Xiaomi 12s Ultra.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-06-1-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504108" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-06-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-06-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-06-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-06-1-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-06-1-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-06-1-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-06-1-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-06-1.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h3>Display</h3>

<p>The front face is covered with an upgraded 6.67-inch AMOLED display. It’s a 2K 120Hz panel that comes from Samsung, which is added with new features like high-frequency PMW dimming and higher boosted window brightness of up to 1900 nits, while manually adjustable brightness still remains at a maximum of around 530 nits. But the global brightness can go up to 1220 nits.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-13-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504109" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-13-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-13-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-13-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-13-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-13-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-13-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-13-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-13.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Like the Vivo X90 series, its high-frequency PMW dimming can also offer an anti-flicker effect for eye protection.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-14-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504112" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-14-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-14-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-14-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-14-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-14-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-14-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-14-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-14.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Xiaomi is still the same Xiaomi, IR Remote and the USB2.0 charging port are still not absent, so wired projection is still not available. The dual speaker units sound good as usual, but there’s no tunning certification of Harman Kardon. The difference is not that obvious, so you can check it out by yourself here.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-09-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504110" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-09-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-09-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-09-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-09-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-09-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-09-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-09-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-09.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>A delightful experience during daily use is the strong and tense haptic vibration, which is even more interesting and stronger than the X90 that we reviewed before. Xiaomi offers various vibrating effects that simulate different feedbacks in reality. It’s pretty fresh when it vibrates in a new way that you never experienced before.</p>

<h3>Snapdragon 8 Gen2 performance &amp; gaming [vs Xiaomi 12s Ultra]</h3>

<p>And now let’s seriously talk about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset inside the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Qualcomm finally changed its mind and decided not to fool mobile users. After all the tests, we strongly believe that the 8 Gen 2’s performance will eventually be remembered and mentioned in the future. It’s so powerful that we can hardly show you its full picture by simply posting the benchmarks and gaming results here.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-15-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504111" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-15-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-15-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-15-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-15-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-15-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-15-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-15-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-15.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>In addition to the increase in peak performance, its improvement is also reflected in the change in CPU architecture, no longer 3 A710 Middle cores but a new combination of 2 new A715 and 2 A710 mid cores. It leads to a powerful optimization of heavy or mid-running with much better thermal performance, and more efficient power consumption as well.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-16-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504114" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-16-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-16-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-16-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-16-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-16-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-16-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-16-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-16.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>For example, in 3DMark Wild Life extreme stress test, the 13 Pro completed the 20-min test with a higher peak score; the stability of 78% is even slightly better than the Xiaomi 12s Ultra, while it didn’t get overheated at the same time. And the framerate power ratio is also significantly higher than the 12S ultra.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-17-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504113" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-17-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-17-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-17-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-17-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-17-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-17-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-17-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-17.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>And then we moved to the PUBG mobile to simulate a mid-loading environment. With consistent graphical settings, both of them could achieve 59.9fps. But the new model only required 2.76W power output on average and a maximum power of 4.5W, both of which are much lower than the 12s Ultra’s power output.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-18-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504115" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-18-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-18-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-18-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-18-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-18-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-18-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-18-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-18.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Based on the data @<a href="https://perfdog.wetest.net/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">PerfDog </a>Performance test tool</figcaption></figure>

<p>Then we did a gaming test in Genshin Impact. Under the same highest graphic settings. The Xiaomi 13 Pro also achieved better results in both framerate and power output, which is close to what we got on the Vivo X90 Pro +. It’s almost the best result you can achieve on a mobile phone.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-19-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504116" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-19-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-19-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-19-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-19-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-19-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-19-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-19-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-19.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Based on the data @<a href="https://perfdog.wetest.net/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">PerfDog </a>Performance test tool</figcaption></figure>

<p>And it completed the test with ease, only requiring 5.07W of power support and being heated up to 44.1℃. This means that when you play Genshin Impact, you not only get better performance but also longer battery life.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-20-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504117" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-20-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-20-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-20-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-20-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-20-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-20-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-20-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-20.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Another surprise of the Xiaomi 13 Pro for playing Genshin Impact is hidden in Game Turbo. You can adjust the game’s GPU option to the High-quality mode in the Game space, and then you will find the gaming graphics get sharper and clearer. Because the gaming resolution just got boosted from 720P to 864P, which is a 20% improvement. And we also tested the high-resolution mode. The phone can still achieve an average framerate of 59.8 without any throttling issue, which means that we still haven’t been able to touch the upper limit of this chipset.&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-21-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504118" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-21-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-21-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-21-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-21-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-21-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-21-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-21-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-21.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>There’s no doubt that the 8Gen 2 chipset has been the most powerful chipset for mobile gaming at the moment. Compared to its predecessors, its CPU performance can have a 15%-30% improvement, and from the tests we did, its performance power ratio also can achieve a 25% to 35% efficiency increase, which is also attributed to the GPU upgrade.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-23-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504119" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-23-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-23-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-23-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-23-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-23-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-23-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-23-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-23.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>And I believe that phones like Xiaomi 13 Pro have even overshadowed many game phones. But I still have to remind you that if you’re only using phones for light applications, you might hardly feel the gap we showed here since its low-frequency running didn’t get as much improved as its heavy-loaded performance.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-24-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504121" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-24-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-24-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-24-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-24-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-24-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-24-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-24-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-24.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>And by the way, the phone also comes with a combination of UFS4.0 storage and LPDDR5X memory, which also speeds up the system response and game loading.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-25-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504120" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-25-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-25-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-25-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-25-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-25-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-25-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-25-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-25.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h3>Battery &amp; Charging</h3>

<p>I’m not a fan of MIUI OS, but one has to admit that the OS is one of the smoothest and most stable mobile systems with rich features. And it seems that Xiaomi is considering giving up the strategy of adding features, but more working on building a lightweight system. On the Xiaomi 13 series, now you can remove almost all pre-installed apps except for several essential apps. In addition, compared to its predecessors, it’s quite surprising that the new OS is pretty stable. Is this still the latest Xiaomi phone? Shouldn’t it be selling phones while fixing a bunch of bugs?</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-26-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-504122" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-26-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-26-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-26-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-26-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-26-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-26-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-26-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/xiaomi-13-Pro-26.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>As for battery and charging, the new Pro model comes with a 4820mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. The battery performance did get improved and get a better result compared to the 12s Ultra. And it can be fully charged in just 22 mins with the 120W fast charger.</p>

<h3>Verdict</h3>

<p>So that’s all we want to share in the first part of the full review. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is possibly the best and most balanced Xiaomi phone in these few years. In addition to the explosive performance, the next part of the camera review probably will let you better understand what I mean. </p>

However, the data further points out that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> was the fastest growing company in the same quarter, with a YoY growth rate of 48.8%.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/bee585375a2b49db8d7cc7c3053d8319.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-204108" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/bee585375a2b49db8d7cc7c3053d8319-1024x512.jpg?x10805" alt="IDC Q2 2018" width="640" height="320" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/bee585375a2b49db8d7cc7c3053d8319-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/bee585375a2b49db8d7cc7c3053d8319-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/bee585375a2b49db8d7cc7c3053d8319-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/bee585375a2b49db8d7cc7c3053d8319.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
<p>Back in Q2 2017, Xiaomi managed to ship just 21.4 million smartphones but that increased drastically this year to 31.9 million. Considering the modest growth rate of other companies, except for <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei</a>, this is indeed a significant jump for Xiaomi. Further, the company now ranks above OPPO (<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/05/02/xiaomi-beats-oppo-in-q1-2018-to-emerge-4th-largest-global-phone-vendor/">Xiaomi surpassed OPPO in Q1 2018</a>), reversing its position as compared to the same period last year.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>RELATED: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/08/01/xiaomi-bluetooth-computer-speakers-with-support-for-lossless-audio-launched-for-399-yuan-58/">Xiaomi Bluetooth computer speakers with support for lossless audio launched for 399 yuan ($58)</a></strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Huawei YoY growth has been quite impressive as well, increasing its shipments by nearly 41% this year. While <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple">Apple</a> shipments have remained more or less stable around 41 million, Huawei managed to grow its shipments from 38 million to 54.2 million units in the previous quarter. However, the Chinese giant still needs some time to catch up with Samsung&#8217;s 71.5 million shipments this year. Fortunately for Huawei, Samsung&#8217;s shipments have fell by over 10% YoY and if this trend continues, the company could soon overtake the South Korean giant in the next couple of years!</p>

But Xiaomi isn&#8217;t a company that&#8217;s usually happy with just one flagship. So, could it be possible that <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> has another curved screen smartphone in the works? At least that&#8217;s what a newly leaked image indicates.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Xiaomi-new-curved-phone.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-110330" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Xiaomi-new-curved-phone.png?x10805" alt="xiaomi-new-curved-phone" width="610" height="313" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Xiaomi-new-curved-phone.png 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Xiaomi-new-curved-phone-300x154.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a></p>
<p>Weibo is the hub of leaks, and the latest leak is said to reveal an unannounced curved Xiaomi smartphone. Now, the company already has two flagships with amazing displays &#8212; the<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-mix/"> Xiaomi Mi Mix</a> and the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/comparison/xiaomi-mi-note-2-vs-samsung-galaxy-note-7/">Xiaomi Mi Note 2</a>. But this one&#8217;s a bit different. We just get a glimpse of the alleged phone, but that&#8217;s enough to reveal a different style of curved display used on the device.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_110331" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-110331" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Xiaomi-Mi-Curved-Phone.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-110331" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Xiaomi-Mi-Curved-Phone.jpg?x10805" alt="xiaomi-mi-curved-phone" width="610" height="610" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Xiaomi-Mi-Curved-Phone.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Xiaomi-Mi-Curved-Phone-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Xiaomi-Mi-Curved-Phone-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-110331" class="wp-caption-text">curved like the LG G Flex</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The image shows that the phone is running MIUI and comes with a curve near the center, much like the LG G Flex. Now, if you remember, the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/25/xiaomi-mi-note-2-flexible-oled-lg-samsung/">Mi Note 2&#8217;s curved display is supplied by LG</a>, so having a phone with a similar display as LG&#8217;s old G Flex isn&#8217;t entirely out of the picture. But given that the design didn&#8217;t really work out well for LG, it remains to be seen whether Xiaomi will experiment with the same design again.</p>
<p>Of course, before you get too excited, I would like to add that there is no conclusive evidence to say this is indeed a new smartphone from Xiaomi. So, we better wait for more details.</p>

The Chinese smartphone giant has disclosed that it amassed a huge sales of half a million (500,000) smartphone units in just 72 hours in the festive season promotional campaign that is run by e-commerce websites like FlipKart, Amazon India, Snapdeal and others.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2014/09/01/xiaomi-all-set-to-sell-the-first-lot-of-40000-redmi-1s-phones-in-india/xiaomi-redmi-1s-india/" rel="attachment wp-att-29842"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-29842" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Xiaomi-Redmi-1s-India.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Redmi 1s India" width="640" height="480" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Xiaomi-Redmi-1s-India.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Xiaomi-Redmi-1s-India-300x225.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
<p>This news was revealed by a top executive of the company who also disclosed that the Xiaomi Redmi 3 came top on Amazon as the best selling phone in the last three days of sales. In addition, the Redmi 3S and 3S Prime were tied as top selling phones on Flipkart during the same period.</p>
<p>E-commerce in India is heavily dependent on the Indian Festive season which runs from October through till November. During this period online sales usually experience a surge and marketers are sparing nothing to take advantage of this. For the records, the festivals are yet to commence but the sales are from promotions already being run by the e-commerce websites.</p>
<p>This is a sign of better days ahead for Xiaomi considering that the company took 30 days to sell half a million smartphones last festive season. It&#8217;s also an indication of the company&#8217;s poise to bolster dwindling sales which had seen its phone shipments decline by 38% according IDC report, a figure that Xiaomi disputes. The company has geared up for the festivities by ensuring high stock availability and rightly timing its new product launch to coincide with the period. The company is also bracing up for the peak sales period which is the start of Diwali, the festival of lights and has promised another event on the Mi Portal before Diwali.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Related:</span> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/09/22/xiaomi-mi-band-2-unveiled-india-inr-1999/">Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Unveiled In India For INR 1999</a></strong></p>
<p>Quite surprisingly, Xiaomi India still complains that it has run out of stock for most of its products but according to the company official, the company is putting in effort to ensure they restock before the start of the festival proper.</p>

<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-89017 aligncenter" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/xiaomi-weibo.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi phones" width="593" height="508" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/xiaomi-weibo.jpg 593w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/xiaomi-weibo-300x257.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/xiaomi-weibo-95x80.jpg 95w" sizes="(max-width: 593px) 100vw, 593px" /></p>
<p>Rumours had claimed in the past that Xiaomi is working on a range of new devices, including a new version called Mi 5s which could feature Apple iPhone-styled 3D Touch and the Mi Note 2 which is planned as a flagship device.</p>
<p>Finally, Lei Jun also disclosed another cheering news that the devices which are billed for release during the second half of the year will continue with Xiaomi&#8217;s trademark affordable pricing.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">RELATED:</span> Xiaomi Goes Premium: To Make More Expensive and Better Smartphones</strong></p>
<p>Further, earlier in the day, noted Analysts Kevin Wang said that <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/07/07/rumor-mill-xiaomi-redmi-note-4/">Xiaomi should be able to sell around 20 million units</a> in the third quarter, which should hint that we should see some great devices very soon.</p>
<p>Xiaomi has a reputation within and outside China of producing top-end smartphones that carry extremely low price tags and this statement by Lei Jun has reassured us that we&#8217;re going to see more of that for the rest of the year.</p>

Geekbench has amassed a renowned reputation and popularity in helping us verify that most of the hardware on Android devices works as it should.</p>
<p>One good thing about Geekbench is that they put all scores up publicly which makes it the go-to guy when searching for specs of upcoming devices. However, details revealed on Geekbench are usually scanty, omitting key details like device size, battery power, presence or lack of microSD, number of SIM slots and others.</p>
<p>Even at that Geekbench helps us know what to expect, and now we know a new Android device is coming in from Xiaomi with the name Xiaomi markw. It is not known as of this moment if that is the name the device will sport on launch day or just a codename.</p>
<p>What we know, though, from the Geekbench listing is that the device promises to be a solid mid-ranger sporting Snapdragon 625 processor which could imply that the device will support Tango and Daydream VR headgears. The Snapdragon 625 SoC is far from being the best, but it’s still a beast.<img loading="lazy" class="alignnone" src="http://www.androidheadlines.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Xiaomi_markw_Geekbench.png" alt="Xiaomi_markw_Geekbench" width="1428" height="714" /></p>
<p>The Geekbench listing showed that the Snapdragon 625 SoC on the markw clocked at 2.02 GHz, sporting 8 cores. The SoC also manages to pull down a respectable single core score of 923, with its multi-core score skyrocketing to a cool 4,537, which indicates a great teamwork from processor cores which is only half as powerful as those found in the Snapdragon 820. The memory performance averages around 3 gigabytes per second in tests, meaning this device will have very fast response time when multitasking or opening new apps.</p>
<p>Backing the Snapdragon 625 processor is a 3GB RAM but the size of the on-board memory is not revealed.</p>
<p>Other details revealed on the listing include that the device will boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and an Adreno 510 GPU. The Adreno 510 superstar GPU on board the device levels the playing field, making this mystery mid-ranger nearly as good for hardcore gaming outside of emulators as its flagship counterparts.</p>
<p>For now, the results listed on Geekbench are all there is to the mystery Xiaomi markw. Perhaps as time goes on more leaks surrounding the markw will surface.</p>

All the top brands in China participated in the sale, offering great discounts to users who bought any of the brand&#8217;s products from June 1 to June 18. In fact, there were a lot of new phones that were offered for sale at discounted prices during this period. The sale ended on June 18 and JD.com revealed a few interesting data about the 18 day sale period.</p>
<p>First of all, in the total product sales category, Apple was right on top. Then came in Huawei + Honor and in the third place was Xiaomi. Other brands who made it to the list were Lenovo, Samsung, Meizu, HP, Canon, Dell and even LeEco, in the order of their ranking.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_86415" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-86415" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-86415 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/top-phone-sales-value.jpg?x10805" alt="top phone sales value" width="610" height="329" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/top-phone-sales-value.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/top-phone-sales-value-300x162.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-86415" class="wp-caption-text">top phone sales value</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>Since we are more interested in the smartphone category, let&#8217;s look at mobile related data in details. In terms of the total sales value, it&#8217;s not surprising that Apple came on top during this period. It was once again followed by Huawei Honor and then Xiaomi. That&#8217;s the same three ranking as the one above. In the fourth and fifth place lies Meizu and Samsung. Leeco, OPPO, Vivo also made it to the list. The two surprising entries were 360 Mobiles and OnePlus!</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_86416" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-86416" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-86416" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/top-phone-sales-units.jpg?x10805" alt="top phone sales units" width="610" height="348" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/top-phone-sales-units.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/top-phone-sales-units-300x171.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-86416" class="wp-caption-text">top phone sales units</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>In terms of the total sales numbers, Xiaomi came on top, and once again, Huawei + Honor brand takes the second place. This was followed by Apple (notice the top three brands remain the same here as well) and then was Meizu, LeEco and Samsung. 360 Mobiles, OPPO and even ZTE made it to this list.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_86417" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-86417" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-86417" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/jd-top-single-phone-sales.jpg?x10805" alt="jd top single phone sales" width="610" height="323" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/jd-top-single-phone-sales.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/jd-top-single-phone-sales-300x159.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-86417" class="wp-caption-text">jd top single phone sales</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>When it comes to the smartphone with the most sales during this period, it was none other than the Meizu M3 Note. This is a great achievement for the company, topping the most sold chart and shows the response for the value mid-ranger launched in April. In the second place was the iPhone 6S which shows the love for the brand in China. Then there was another mid-ranger, the Redmi Note 3 followed by Redmi 3, Le 2, Redmi 3S, Xiaomi Mi5, iPhone 5S, Mi Max and Honor V8. As you can see, despite coming in the top three places in the above three categories, Huawei + Honor brand had only one product in the top single product sales category, the Honor V8! So, it looks like the company sold a lot of units of different models during this period.</p>
<p>Another thing to note here is that the OPPO&#8217;s sale grew by 583% during this period, followed by OnePlus with a growth of 375% and Vivo with 284%. Given that OPPO&#8217;s offline sales are already impressive, it&#8217;s even impressive to see the company doing well in the online sales. It made it to the list of the top 10 sales list as well as top 10 sales value list.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_86414" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-86414" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-86414" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/top-phone-sales-price-segment-e1466402961505.jpg?x10805" alt="top phone sales price segment" width="600" height="315" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/top-phone-sales-price-segment-e1466402961505.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/top-phone-sales-price-segment-e1466402961505-300x158.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-86414" class="wp-caption-text">top phone sales price segment</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>When it comes to the top three products sold in each price category, Redmi 3, Redmi 3S and Meizu M3 were the ones that made it to the list in the 500-699 Yuan category, Meizu M3 Note, Redmi Note 3 and 360 N4 were in the 700-999 Yuan category, Le 2, Honor 5X and Huawei Enjoy 5S (1000-1499 Yuan), Mi Max, Honor 7 and Honor 7i (1500-1999 Yuan), Xiaomi Mi5, iPhone 5S, Vivo X6S (2000-2499 Yuan), Honor V8, OPPO R9, Huawei Mate 8 (2500-2999 Yuan), Huawei P9, Huawei P9 Plus and iPhone 6 (3000-3999 Yuan), and finally in the 4000 Yuan+ top end-category, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and Galaxy S7 Edge made it to the list.</p>
<p>Finally, JD.com revealed that LeEco, 360 Mobiles and Ramos were the top three emerging brands during this period.</p>

<p>Yesterday, we reported that Xiaomi had <a title="Xiaomi has no plans for an electric vehicle in the next 5 years, says Lei Jun" href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/03/01/xiaomi-no-plans-electric-vehicle-next-5-years-says-lei-jun/">no plans for an electric vehicle in the near future</a>. Lei Jun had made that clear at the Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum Fifteenth Annual Meeting yesterday. During the same event, he also revealed some key stats about the company and gave us an idea as to what the company is planning for this year.</p>
<p>He revealed that Xiaomi manufactured 61.2 million smartphones in 2014 alone and generated about 74.3 billion Yuan in sales. The company&#8217;s sales figures have been growing pretty fast since 2012.</p>
<p>In 2012, Xiaomi&#8217;s sales were around 12.6 billion, in 2013 it rose to an impressive 32.6 billion and finally in 2014, the sales more than doubled to reach 74.3 billion Yuan. Naturally, with such high sales, the sales tax too is said to be around 100 million Yuan in a year.</p>
<p>With the current growth in sales and shipments, its very likely that Xiaomi will reach at least 100 billion Yuan in sales this year. Previous stats have shown that the figures have more than doubled and if it continues the same rate, the sales could be anywhere around 150 billion. Moreover, Xiaomi has confirmed that it has plans to expand into newer emerging markets such as Brazil and Russia, which will definitively boost shipments and sales. Also, the total shipments could go well over 80 million this year.</p>
<p>So, do you think Xaiomi will exceed the 150 billion Yuan mark in sales this year? Or will the company slow down after registering impressive growth in the past two years?</p>
