Xiaomi has announced a new addition to its smart home lineup in China: the Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater P1 Human Sensing Edition. It is a ceiling-mounted unit that combines lighting, heating, and exhaust fans, but the main draw is a built-in radar system that automates the hardware based on whether someone is actually in the room. It enters crowdfunding next week for 999 yuan ($148).

Most smart bathroom lights use basic infrared motion sensors, which can sometimes turn off if you stay still for too long. Xiaomi is using a 24GHz radar system here instead. It is designed to detect continuous presence, meaning the unit can turn on the lights when you walk in, run the exhaust fan while the bathroom is in use, and shut everything down once you leave.

Because radar can be overly sensitive, the detection range and sensitivity are adjustable so the system won’t trigger just because someone walked past the open door.

For heating, the unit uses a 3,000W graphene element. It relies on a variable frequency control system, which means it adjusts its power output to maintain a set temperature rather than running at full blast all the time. To distribute the heat, an oscillating louver swings between 60 and 90 degrees to push warm air down toward the floor.

It also has dual DC motors, allowing the system to heat the room and run the exhaust fan simultaneously. The exhaust is rated to move about 259 cubic meters of air per hour.

The lighting setup is a retractable panel that sits flush with the ceiling. It outputs up to 1,500 lumens, with adjustable color temperatures from 3,000K to 6,200K, and includes a standard night light mode for late-night trips.

On the software side, it ties into the Mi Home app and HyperOS ecosystem for scheduling and voice controls. It also comes with an IPX4-rated water-resistant wireless wall switch. The switch fits into a standard 86mm electrical box, so you don’t have to run new wiring through your walls to install the physical controls.

Xiaomi has announced its first power bank built to meet China’s new national safety standard for portable chargers. Dubbed the Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 22.5W, it will go on sale in China on July 22 for 149 yuan (~ $22).

The power bank has a 20,000mAh capacity and supports 22.5W charging through a built-in cable. Inside, it uses two 10,000mAh battery cells rather than a single large cell. Xiaomi says the product has cleared a demanding set of safety tests, including a 4mm needle penetration test, a 135 °C heat exposure test, an overcharge test at 1.3 times the normal voltage, a compression test using roughly 1.3 tons of force, and a 300-cycle aging test that checks for lithium plating.

The device also includes smart management features tied to its cable, so that users can check battery health and access traceability information about the battery inside. As for connectivity, you get one USB-A and two USB-C ports. 

The new model is based on the Xiaomi 20000 22.5W Power Bank 2026, which it launched in June. It also has a built-in cable, uses a 2C+1A port layout, and sells for the same 149 yuan.

What is the new national standard?

China introduced a mandatory national standard for power bank safety in April; however, it doesn’t take effect until April 1, 2027. The rules require stronger protection against high heat, overcharging, and crushing, and add a new test for lithium buildup after repeated charging cycles to lower the chance of short circuits in older batteries. Power banks must also be able to store and share data about unusual events, and each unit needs its own identification code so consumers can check details like the battery brand.

The standard was shaped with input from several major manufacturers, including Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Anker, and is regarded as one of the strictest in the world. It brings in extra mechanical tests such as drops, crushing, and impacts, bans the use of recycled or refurbished lithium cells, and sets tougher rules for the chemical fluid inside batteries. Manufacturers have a transition period before the rules become mandatory, but Xiaomi’s new launch shows companies are already moving to meet the tougher requirements ahead of schedule.

The HyperOS 3.3 testing phase may have come to an end, as Xiaomi has just begun a public rollout to select high-end phones, including the Xiaomi 17 series and Xiaomi 15T Pro, upgrading the OS to Android 17.

While it’s technically a major OS upgrade, you should not expect to see visual changes or new features, as we hinted in our past coverage. It lays the groundwork to support advanced features and upgrades coming with HyperOS 4 later this year. According to the changelog shared by Ximitime, HyperOS 3.3 update mainly focuses on improving system stability and adds the June 2026 security patch.

Xiaomi is rolling out the HyperOS 3.3 update to the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra in the Global and European regions. It’s being distributed as a public release, while the Xiaomi 15T Pro is receiving the update on the global variant via the Mi Pilot testing channel. That means only a limited number of Xiaomi 15T users will be able to upgrade to the latest build before the wider rollout begins.

Even though HyperOS 3.3 doesn’t introduce many new features or visual upgrades, the download size is massive. That’s because the update includes a new OS, Android 17, which is itself a large package, although major changes are expected to be introduced as part of HyperOS 4.

Xiaomi usually rolls out updates in batches, so it can take a few days for the update to appear on your device. To check for available updates, go to Settings > About phone and tap the HyperOS logo. For the Xiaomi 15T Pro users, the update may take a little longer, as it’s currently rolling out via the Mi Pilot channel.

The HyperOS 3.3 rollout has just begun, but Xiaomi is already preparing to release the most anticipated HyperOS 4. That would be a true major upgrade with major visual upgrades, new features, and enhancements across the system. Xiaomi is expected to release HyperOS 4 in August with the upcoming Xiaomi 18 series, and the rollout to older devices could begin in September.

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Note 17 Pro in China, a new midrange smartphone that focuses primarily on battery capacity and physical durability. The device includes a significantly larger 9,000mAh battery.

To manage the 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, Xiaomi is using its proprietary Surge G1 management chip. The phone supports 67W wired charging and includes a 22.5W wired reverse charging feature, allowing users to supply power to other devices.

To address potential battery degradation over time, Xiaomi is offering early buyers a five-year battery service plan. Under this program, the company will replace the battery at no cost if its health falls below 80% within the first four years, with a replacement option also available in the fifth year.

Talking about durability, the Note 17 Pro is certified with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, indicating a high level of resistance to dust and water, including exposure to high-pressure water jets. The phone’s internal structure incorporates a metal die-cast bracket and shock-absorbing materials, while the screen is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The device features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1280) and a 120Hz maximum refresh rate. The screen can reach a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. Xiaomi has officially announced the Redmi Note 17 in China, a new budget smartphone that combines a massive display with an equally large battery.

Moreover, Xiaomi’s third-generation AI floor-positioning system can pinpoint not just the building a child is in but the exact floor. It updates the location every second so parents get a near-live view through the companion app. The watch also recognizes subway stations, can log a child’s commute and save the route for parents to check later.

Socially, the watch lets kids befriend others by tapping devices together — including watches from rival brands — and supports child-safe versions of WeChat and QQ for calls and messaging. Parents get access to a full dashboard of wear time, app usage, activity, and behavior, plus the ability to set screen-time limits and auto-disable the watch during school hours.

Xiaomi has released a new water flosser under its Mijia brand that adds a screen and smartphone connectivity to a standard bathroom tool. The Mijia Smart Water Flosser Pro is currently listed on the company’s Youpin platform in China for 399 yuan, which converts to roughly $58. It is available in Gold, Twilight Gray, and Light Purple colors.

The device uses a rotating nozzle that outputs two streams of water simultaneously. It combines a standard, direct water jet in the center with a wider, umbrella-shaped spray on the outside.

Xiaomi claims this dual-stream approach covers a larger area than a standard nozzle and removes up to 99.99% of plaque. The tip of the nozzle also has a small silicone guide to help users physically align the water stream with the gaps between their teeth.

Along with the standard nozzle, the flosser includes two other attachments. One is a microbubble nozzle that mixes air into the water to make it gentler on sensitive gums, and the other is an orthodontic nozzle with bristles to help clean around braces and retainers.

On the tech side, the handle features a small color display. It shows basic information like the current cleaning mode, battery life, and a timer while in use. The device has four default settings programmed in: Gentle, Standard, Strong, and Custom.

Connecting the flosser to the Mijia smartphone app opens up more settings. You can choose from 10 different water pressure levels, three pulse speeds, and three flow patterns, including continuous, intermittent, and wave. The app also tracks how often the device is used, logs the duration of each session, and can send notifications to remind users to floss.

The physical design includes a modular water tank system. The main handle holds 80mL of water, keeping the device relatively compact for travel. For home use, a larger 220mL tank attaches to the bottom to hold more water. To save space in a bag, the nozzle can be removed and stored inside the main body.

The flosser charges via a standard USB-C port, and the full charge takes about four hours. Xiaomi estimates the battery can last up to 105 days on a single charge.

Xiaomi just gave its popular desktop photo printer lineup a fresh update, and it looks like a solid step forward for anyone who loves turning photos into real, physical prints.

The new Mijia Desktop Photo Printer 2 has now launched its crowdfunding campaign on the Youpin platform (it kicked off at 10:00 AM today). During crowdfunding, it’s priced at a pretty tempting 699 yuan. The regular price will be 799 yuan. Compared to the previous 1S model, this one brings some meaningful upgrades.

The biggest change is the switch to 4-color dye-sublimation printing (CMYK). By adding a dedicated black layer, it delivers deeper blacks, smoother gradients, and more vibrant, film-like results that actually feel closer to professional lab prints.

Xiaomi also fixed some common annoyances from earlier models. Instead of relying on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, it now uses Bluetooth 5.2, which makes pairing with your phone faster and more stable. It prints at 300 × 300 dpi and supports both 4-inch and 6-inch photo paper. The cost per print is quite affordable too, starting as low as 0.99 yuan for the smaller sheets.

You can also use different lamination films to give prints a premium finish and better protection against fading. On the software side, there are some fun new tools: LUT color adjustments for more precise editing, automatic ID photo generation that meets official standards, and even AR dynamic photos that come alive when viewed through the app. It supports common formats like JPG, PNG, and HEIC, and you can connect up to three devices at once via Bluetooth.

The printer itself is still nicely compact (about 199 × 126.6 × 85.7 mm), so it won’t take over your desk. Print speeds range from around 53 to 85 seconds per photo depending on the settings. Consumables are reasonably priced, with packs for both 4-inch and 6-inch prints sitting at 69.2 yuan each.

Compared to the older 1S model that used ZINK technology, this dye-sublimation version should offer noticeably better color quality and longer-lasting prints, though you will need dedicated ink ribbons and special paper.

The Tea Bar Pro is designed for people who want both quick hot water and properly brewed tea from a single machine. It has a large 5.5-liter water tank and two separate water outlets — one side delivers instant hot water in just 3 seconds, while the other can brew tea just as fast. 

Xiaomi says the two water paths are physically separated so they do not interfere with each other.

Precise Temperature Control and Fast Heating

For hot water, the machine has five preset temperature levels and four cup size options. It takes only 15 seconds to boil water, and the device also includes a 1.2-liter teapot and a sharing pot for serving guests or drinking tea alone.

What’s thoughtful of Xiaomi is to offer a built-in cleaning system. The Tea Bar Pro has a 10-liter storage compartment that can hold 8 to 15 cups. This space automatically sterilizes and dries stored cups using UVC ultraviolet light and 70°C hot air. Xiaomi says this process kills at least 99.99% of tested bacteria, spores, and fungi, based on independent lab testing.

Visually, the appliance has Xiaomi’s familiar minimalist white design and a 2.8-inch color touchscreen on top for controls. Meanwhile, it also supports Xiao AI to pass instructions via voice command. The interface is built to be simple and shows real-time status and alerts to make it easy to use for all age groups. 

The machine also supports several preset tea brewing modes for different types of tea. Users are able to add their own custom tea recipes to match personal taste via the Xiaomi Home app. And once you’re done with brewing mode, the process runs automatically, adds water as needed, and stops once the pot is full, so users do not need to monitor it. After brewing, the machine can also keep tea warm automatically.

In terms of raw brightness, Xiaomi says the light bar outperforms the AA-grade standard used for reading lamps. Depending on how high you mount it — 40cm, 45cm, or 50cm above the desk — it can produce maximum illuminance ranging from 1,100 to 1,800 lux.

The light bar extends to 50cm and comes with an upgraded clamp that can grip monitors with curvatures between 1000R and 1800R, and screens ranging from 5mm to 65mm thick.

It hasn’t been that long since Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro. However, the company has already started working on the successors. The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 has already been spotted on Taiwan’s NCC database. Now, two new Xiaomi devices have just cleared network access approval in China, and tipsters say they belong to the upcoming Mi Band 11 series.

What got approved

China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology gave the green light to two Xiaomi Bluetooth devices, carrying model numbers M2616B1 and M2617B1. According to tipster Experience More, these two models are the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 and the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 NFC version. They will succeed the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 and Band 10 NFC. 

Meanwhile, UL listing of the band confirms a battery capacity of 233mAh, the same as the current generation. 

Another leaker, Smart Pikachu, says the Mi Band 11 is on track for a release in the second half of this year.

For context, Xiaomi followed a similar certification pattern with its last flagship band. The Band 10 Pro used model numbers M2551B1 and M2553B1 for its standard and NFC versions. There was also a separate sighting in May, when a wearable with model number M2561B1 turned up in certification databases in Singapore and Taiwan, listed simply as a “smart bracelet.”

What we know about the current Smart Band 10 series for comparison

Since full specs for the Mi Band 11 haven’t surfaced yet, it’s worth looking at what the current Smart Band 10 offers. Xiaomi’s existing base model packs a 1.72-inch AMOLED display with 1500 nits peak brightness, a 233mAh battery rated for up to 21 days, over 150 sports modes, and HyperOS 2.0 software, as we reported when the Smart Band 10 launched in China. The Pro variant goes further, with a 1.74-inch, 2000-nit display, HRV tracking, built-in GNSS, and Apple Health support.

If the Mi Band 11 keeps the same battery size, expect Xiaomi to lean on software and sensor upgrades instead of a battery bump. More details should surface as the second-half launch window approaches.

According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 18 Pro engineering prototype is being tested with a 2nm flagship chipset, which is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series, expected to debut in Se,ptember just before the Xiaomi 18 Pro series launch.

The leak further reveals that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will feature a custom ultra-high-resolution flat display with large rounded corners and ultra-slim symmetrical bezels. While he has not mentioned the screen size in this leak, he previously revealed that the device will have a 6.4-inch OLED panel equipped with a Samsung-like Privacy Display feature.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro’s camera setup will comprise a 200-megapixel large-sensor main camera and a 200-megapixel large-sensor periscope telephoto camera with macro support. The setup will be rounded out by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Xiaomi has introduced another washing machine in its popular Mijia Pro lineup. The new model is called the Mijia Washing Machine Pro 10kg, and it’s now up for pre-sale in China. It is priced at 2,699 yuan (~ $396).

The star feature here is Xiaomi’s Super Electrolysis technology. The machine uses a diamond-coated electrode to instantly charge water, boosting active oxygen levels by 15 times. This active oxygen works its way into fabric fibers to break down dirt and bacteria naturally, without needing any added chemicals. Xiaomi says the process leaves zero residue.

This technology is put to work in a few practical ways. It can tackle 20 common stain types, including soy sauce, juice, and blood, while also whitening yellowed white clothes and protecting colors from fading, matching the effect of about 15 color-guard sheets. On the hygiene side, the machine claims a 99.99% sterilization rate on its own, and when paired with high-temperature steam, that jumps to 99.999% for bacteria and viruses, with 100% mite removal.

Wash modes, built-in AI and more

Its washing performance is rated at a 1.3 wash ratio, well above China’s 1.03 national standard. The machine also handles detergent and softener automatically, dosing within ±0.75ml accuracy based on load weight, with a single fill lasting about a month. Last week, we reported that Xiaomi is developing a new HyperOS 3.3 build, based on Android 17, for select high-end smartphones. Well, it now appears that the beta release could be around the corner, giving users an early taste of Android 17 weeks ahead of the much-anticipated HyperOS 4 release.

While Xiaomi has yet to confirm the existence of a HyperOS 3.3 build, relevant firmware versions have been spotted in multiple regions, suggesting a beta release may go live as soon as next week.

Here’s a list of devices spotted with HyperOS 3.3 build so far:

Xiaomi Auto has finally put a name to its long-rumored new vehicle lineup. The company officially announced “Sky Nomad” as a new brand that will go in China with the name Xiaomi Pengcheng (小米澎程).

The announcement came this morning through Xiaomi’s newly launched WeChat page for the brand, though no content had been posted there at press time. Xiaomi has also started teasing the brand through city screen advertising in China.

Xiaomi’s Sky Nomad is an EREV series

With Sky Nomad, Xiaomi is expected to tap into the extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) market. The existing Xiaomi SU7 and YU7 SUV are an SUV and a sedan, respectively. The first model for the new brand is said to be the N90, a full-size SUV powered by an EREV powertrain.

According to earlier reports, the N90 uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged range extender that doesn’t send power directly to the wheels, instead charges the battery and powering electric motors. The car is expected to get a battery pack over 70 kWh, good for 400-500 km of pure-EV range, with combined range exceeding 1,500 km.

The N90 is a genuinely big vehicle too, measuring 5.3 meters long with a 3.1-meter wheelbase, and expected in both five-seat and seven-seat layouts. Spy shots have previously shown the larger variant sporting a roof-mounted tent setup. 

In terms of design, the N90 features blocky headlights, a trapeze-shaped air intake, side bumper air inlets, a high bonnet line, roof-mounted LiDAR, and electric doorsteps. More details are expected closer to launch.

Xiaomi delivered 32,759 units domestically in May 2026 alone, and currently sells the SU7 sedan, SU7 Ultra, and YU7 SUV lineup. With Sky Nomad now official, Xiaomi looks set to take on family-focused SUVs like the Li Auto L9 and AITO M9 later this year.

Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 in China, expanding its growing portfolio of smart home cleaning appliances. The new wet-and-dry floor cleaner is now available for pre-order on JD.com at 1,645 yuan (around $242).

Xiaomi Mijia Floor Scrubber 5 Specifications

The Floor Scrubber 5 is powered by a motor that provides 18,000Pa of suction. Its main roller brush spins at 400rpm and applies 22.3N of downward pressure, which provides the mechanical friction needed to scrub floors rather than just wiping them.

The device features three distinct cleaning modes and utilizes a real-time fresh-water system that continuously washes the roller brush during operation to prevent spreading dirty water across the floor.

To handle hair wrap, Xiaomi has implemented a four-layer anti-tangle system. The company says that the system has passed TÜV SÜD testing and is capable of processing up to 3,000 strands of wet hair without jamming the brush.

In terms of physical design, Xiaomi placed the 1,000mL clean water tank lower on the device. This shifts the center of gravity downward, which the company says reduces hand strain by 25% while increasing the brush’s natural pressure on the floor by 10%. The device also features a 70-degree steering angle and forward traction assistance to make it easier to push around the house.

The washer supports a 180-degree flat-lay mode, allowing it to reach up to 104cm under low furniture like beds and cabinets. For water management, the device uses five specific control mechanisms, including precision dispensing and a TPE wastewater scraper to limit the amount of moisture left behind. The 700mL wastewater tank utilizes a solid-liquid separation design to keep physical debris separate from dirty water, which helps limit odors.

The Floor Scrubber 5 runs for up to 45 minutes on a single charge, covering an estimated 334 square meters. When placed in its charging base, it features a one-touch self-cleaning cycle that washes the roller and uses 100°C hot air to dry both the brush and the filter. The drying process operates at 45dB(A), keeping noise levels relatively low during post-clean maintenance.

Industry insiders suggest that HyperOS 4 could make its official debut as early as next month (August), bringing a redesigned interface, extensive under-the-hood changes and several AI-powered enhancements for compatible Xiaomi devices.

HyperOS 4: Performance, design and AI upgrades

According to leaks from Chinese sources, HyperOS 4 has been rebuilt using the Rust programming language alongside the Flutter development framework for its core components. The update is said to remove legacy MIUI code completely, resulting in a cleaner system architecture.

Early test figures suggest the new software could improve overall system smoothness by around 40 percent, increase background app retention by 35 percent, and reduce idle memory consumption by 25 to 30 percent. Reports also claim that performance degradation after a year of continuous use could be limited to just 5 percent.

HyperOS 4 is also expected to introduce Xiaomi’s new Liquid Glass design language, featuring softer 2.5D-inspired visuals and two interface styles, including Transparent and Soft modes. The update is tipped to strengthen cross-device connectivity across smartphones, tablets, smart home products, and vehicles.

File transfer speeds between supported devices could increase by up to 300 percent, while app continuity across screens is also expected to become more seamless. A unified AI coordination framework is said to improve communication between Xiaomi devices.

Xiaomi unveiled its new 17T series globally in May. Like previous T-series phones, the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro are meant to bridge the gap between flagship killers and ultra-premium devices.

The Xiaomi 17T comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen, a Dimensity 8500 chip, and a 6,500 mAh battery. The Xiaomi 17T Pro steps things up with a bigger 6.83-inch 144Hz display, the faster Dimensity 9500 chip, a 7,000 mAh battery, and a Leica-tuned camera system with 5x optical zoom. You can read more about the differences between the two models here. Both phones also carry IP68 water resistance, meaning they can survive a dip in water for a short time.

If you just picked one of these phones up, congratulations. But before you start using it every day, there are a few simple things worth buying to protect it, charge it faster, and get more out of it. Here are the first five things you should add to your cart.

A Good Case

This one is the most obvious, but it’s also the most important. The Xiaomi 17T Pro has an aluminum frame and a glass back, while the standard 17T uses a plastic frame with a glass-fiber reinforced back. Both look great, but glass and metal don’t bounce back well from a hard drop onto concrete.

Neither the 17T nor the 17T Pro has a headphone jack, which is now the standard across most phones. That means Bluetooth earbuds are basically a requirement rather than an optional extra.

Interestingly, some early buyers of the 17T series received gifts with their purchase, including Redmi Headphones Neo with the base 17T, and a Xiaomi Smart Band 10 fitness tracker bundled with the 17T Pro. If your unit came with either of these, you may already have a starting point. This next one isn’t a physical product, but it deserves a spot on this list. Neither the Xiaomi 17T nor the 17T Pro has a slot for a microSD card, so whatever storage size you bought is the storage you’re stuck with. The Pro model does offer a 1TB option in some markets, which gives plenty of breathing room, but it also costs a lot more. Meanwhile, the base models with 256GB can fill up fast if you take lots of photos or record videos.

Instead of hunting for accessories that promise external storage, it’s smarter to set up a cloud backup plan through Google Photos, Xiaomi Cloud, or another service you trust. This keeps your photos and videos safe even if something happens to the phone, and it frees up space without needing to delete anything permanently. Many services offer affordable monthly plans, and setting this up on day one saves you from a stressful scramble later when storage runs low.

Xiaomi has launched its new Mijia Desktop Photo Printer 2 in China on its Youpin crowdfunding platform, with the campaign set to begin on July 13. The printer itself carries a price tag of 699 yuan (~$102), while the 4-inch dual-panel photo paper costs 69.2 yuan (~$10), and the 6-inch 4-color professional photo paper is also priced at 69.2 yuan (~$ 10).

The new model builds on the existing Mijia Photo Printer 1S from 2020, and Xiaomi has laid out a detailed comparison between the two devices. The biggest change is the printing technology itself. The Photo Printer 2 moves from 3-color dye sublimation to a 4-color dye sublimation process that adds a black K layer, which should help produce sharper text and deeper blacks in printed photos.

The new printer can further handle 4-inch double-sided photo paper priced at 0.99 yuan per piece, square adhesive photo strips at 2.48 yuan per piece, and 6-inch photo sheets available in both 3-color (1.61 yuan) and the newer 4-color dye sublimation option (2.48 yuan). By comparison, the 1S only supports square adhesive paper and 6-inch sheets, and does not offer 4-color printing at all.

As for connectivity, the Photo Printer 2 switches from 2.4G Wi-Fi, used on the 1S, to Bluetooth 5.2, allowing it to connect directly to a phone without needing a Wi-Fi network. Xiaomi says multiple users can still connect and print at the same time, with 8 filters available for quick edits.

On the software side, the new printer adds a handful of features not found on the 1S, including LUT-based color mixing tools, AR dynamic photos, and a smart ID photo mode. It also supports various textured lamination finishes, while the 1S is limited to a high-gloss coating only.

Physically, the Photo Printer 2 measures 199 x 126.6 x 85.7mm, slightly larger than the 1S at 194 x 124.6 x 83.6mm.

Alongside the printer, Xiaomi is also selling matching consumables, including 4-inch double-panel photo paper (79.2 yuan), 3-inch sticky photo paper (99 yuan), 6-inch photo paper (129 yuan), and a 6-inch 4-color professional edition paper set (159 yuan).

According to the leak, the prototype uses a custom flat display with large rounded corners and narrow, evenly sized bezels on all four sides. This is consistent with earlier reports pointing to a 6.9-inch 2K OLED screen for the device, paired with a 2nm-based Snapdragon chip.

The camera setup is said to include a 200MP main sensor with LOFIC technology — the latter improves dynamic range in difficult lighting — and a second 200MP sensor for telephoto and macro shots. This matches an earlier report that tipped a dual 200MP camera system on the same device, with the telephoto lens offering roughly 3x zoom.

As for the battery, the insider suggests a capacity of “8K++,” meaning the cell will be above 8,000mAh. To be more specific, a previous leak revealed the capacity to be 8,500 mAh. Charging is expected to cap at 100W for wired and likely 50W wireless support. The post also mentions dual speakers and a larger haptic motor.

However, inconsistent sales performance across regions appears to have made the lineup less viable for Xiaomi going forward.

The Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra have been spotted (via Ximitime) with an unreleased HyperOS 3.3 firmware version, based on Android 17. While these are internal engineering builds and not intended for public release, they suggest Xiaomi may be testing them behind the scenes for a wider release later this year.

Xiaomi has introduced the Wireless Mouse 4 Pro in China. The new wireless mouse is priced at 199 yuan (around $29) and is scheduled to go on sale on July 7th.

The bottom of the mouse is fitted with standard PTFE feet.

For the main left and right clicks, Xiaomi is using TTC silent switches. Xiaomi has released the Redmi K90 Ultra in China. It is a new smartphone that stands out primarily for including a built-in active cooling fan alongside a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

Redmi K90 Ultra Specifications

The phone has a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED screen. It runs at a 1.5K resolution (2772 × 1280) and has a 165Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi is using M10 display material here, which the company says can hit a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. For touch input, the screen registers a 480Hz multi-finger reporting rate and a 3,500Hz instant touch sampling rate to reduce input lag.

Inside, the Redmi K90 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 3nm chip. Xiaomi paired this with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. There is also a secondary D2 display chip designed to handle AI upscaling and frame interpolation for games.

To keep the hardware cool, Xiaomi added an active air-cooling system. It uses an 18.1mm fan that operates at a reported 32dB, working alongside a 6,000mm² vapor chamber to move heat away from the processor. The device ships with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 operating system.

After announcing a smart pressure cooker last week, Xiaomi is back again with a new kitchen gadget under its Mijia lineup. The company officially launched its new Mijia Health Pot 2 in China today. The product will go on sale tomorrow at 10:00 AM, priced at 139 yuan (~ $20) through the Xiaomi Youpin platform.

The pot is made of 316L stainless steel parts, which resist corrosion and rust. This should help the pot stay in good condition even with frequent daily use. The body of the kettle is made from a glue-free material that Xiaomi says is safe for babies.

The design allows for two different uses in a single kettle, supported by eight separate cooking modes, giving users flexibility depending on what they want to prepare.

The device supports heat preservation between 40 and 90 degrees Celsius. The pot also includes a 12-hour preset cooking timer, meaning users can add their ingredients before going to bed and the device will automatically begin cooking at a scheduled time. Once cooking finishes, the pot keeps the food warm for up to 12 hours, so meals stay ready to eat whenever needed.

In terms of power, the Mijia Health Pot 2 runs at a high 1200W, with the system automatically adjusting power output based on the selected cooking mode to ensure efficient performance.

The pot includes a built-in intelligent thermostat hidden at the bottom, paired with additional heat-sensitive protection components throughout the device. These systems continuously monitor the heating plate, and the pot will automatically shut off power if it detects low water levels or overheating, helping prevent dry burning and reducing fire risks.

Xiaomi is finally jumping into the network-attached storage (NAS) market, and it looks like they want to make it much more accessible for regular people.

A crowdfunding campaign is already scheduled to run from July 1 to July 8 for the company’s first dedicated NAS device, called the Xiaomi Smart Storage. It’s positioned as an affordable, easy-to-use option for families, small offices, and anyone who wants more control over their photos, videos, and backups without relying entirely on the cloud.

The device has a clean, minimalist cube design with a grey finish. It’s a dual-bay model that supports both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA drives, giving users flexibility to mix and match storage.

According to a recent leak of an engineering sample, it’s powered by a Realtek RTD1619B quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor (up to 1.7 GHz), the same chip used in some entry-level Synology models. The sample comes with 2GB of DDR3L RAM and 8GB of storage for the operating system. It can reportedly handle up to 40TB total storage. While the prototype had a Gigabit Ethernet port, the final version is expected to include at least one 2.5GbE port, plus USB 3.0 and HDMI.

Xiaomi is offering three pre-configured bundles during the campaign (July 1–8):

• Beginner (4TB) — CNY 2,299 (~$338)
• Advanced (8TB) — CNY 2,899 (~$426)
• Professional (16TB) — CNY 4,699 (~$690)

These prices look like solid deals compared to normal retail.

The device is expected to tie nicely into Xiaomi’s broader smart home ecosystem, with good cross-platform support for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux.

This launch comes at the right time. A lot of people are getting tired of rising cloud storage costs and privacy concerns, and they’re looking for better ways to access their growing collections of photos and videos.

Of course, we still don’t know all the software details (things like Docker support are still unclear), but if Xiaomi nails the user experience, this could bring NAS devices to a much wider audience. It’ll be interesting to see how the market reacts once crowdfunding begins.

Xiaomi has quietly been expanding its outdoor camera lineup in China. The company launched Xiaomi Smart Outdoor Camera 4 4G a while back with dual cameras and 4G connectivity. There’s also a Smart Outdoor Camera 4 Pro Triple-Cam Zoom Edition that has triple 3K lenses and 9x hybrid zoom. 

Continuing the momentum, Xiaomi has launched a brand new solar-powered variant, called the Xiaomi Smart Solar Camera 4 Pro 4G Dual-Camera Edition.

The camera is now live on Xiaomi Youpin for crowdfunding, with an early-bird price starting at 579 yuan (roughly $80). Crowdfunding kicks off at 10:00 AM on July 6.

Xiaomi Smart Solar Camera 4 Pro 4G Specifications

The biggest selling point of this camera is its complete independence from traditional infrastructure. It packs dual 4G SIM card support for connectivity, so that you don’t need to rely on WiFi for video streaming. And power isn’t a concern either. 

The camera comes with a built-in 9,900mAh battery that Xiaomi says can last more than a week on a single charge. On top of that, it is paired with a 7.6W solar panel, meaning it can sustain itself indefinitely under normal sunlight conditions. You install it once and largely forget about it.

On the imaging side, the Solar Camera 4 Pro carries two 5-megapixel cameras, each capable of recording at 3K resolution. Both lenses also feature a large f/1.6 aperture, each with a “white light + infrared light” combination that turns on the appropriate fill light when a person is detected.

The camera also has AOV (Always-On Video) intelligent recording. Rather than recording at full frame rate all the time, the camera dynamically adjusts based on activity. When no one is around, it drops to 1 frame every 2 seconds, saving over 90% of storage space. 

Security and Alerts

When something suspicious is detected, the camera plays an audible alarm and activates a flashing light to ward off intruders. It also sends a notification to the user’s phone through the Mi Home App. It supports two-way voice communication, letting you speak directly to whoever is near the camera.

The device also supports Xiaomi’s HyperConnect for integration with other Xiaomi smart home devices and carries an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance.

Pricing and Availability

For a compact phone, this is still a strong spec, even as other phones in the market are now offering 8,000mAh and 10,000mAh batteries in larger bodies.

Earlier leaks had already pointed to the Xiaomi 18 having a bigger battery than its predecessor, and this latest update puts a number to it.

Xiaomi 18 Specs: What We Know So Far

The Xiaomi 18 is expected to come with a 6.4-inch 2K display and ultra-narrow symmetrical bezels. It is also rumored to use SuperPixel display technology. The overall design keeps the phone compact and easy to handle.

The phone will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, the same 2nm chip found in the Pro model. This makes it one of the few compact flagships to pair a next-generation 2nm chipset with a dual 200-megapixel camera system.

The Xiaomi 18 will feature a 200MP rear camera setup with large sensors. It will also be the first standard Xiaomi model to include a 3X periscope telephoto lens, which had previously been reserved for Pro versions. The phone also supports ultrasonic fingerprint recognition and full waterproofing.

No changes on the charging front. The Xiaomi 18 will support 100W wired charging and wireless charging, the same as before.

The back screen design seen on the Pro models will not be coming to the standard Xiaomi 18. That feature stays exclusive to the Pro lineup, as reported in our earlier Xiaomi 18 Pro Max coverage.

The Xiaomi 18 series is expected to launch in September, possibly a little earlier than last year. It will go up against the iPhone 18 Pro series around the same time.

The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) recently concluded a technical conference at Xiaomi’s Beijing headquarters to develop the upcoming Qi 50W wireless charging standard. The event, which ran from June 22nd to June 25th, brought together engineers from across the consumer electronics industry, including representatives from Apple, Google, Huawei, Honor, Oppo, and Vivo.

The primary objective of the meeting was to address the technical specifications, prototype testing, and interoperability requirements for 50W wireless charging. The WPC, which oversees the Qi standard, has been incrementally increasing power limits over the past few years. Following the adoption of the 15W magnetic Qi2 standard as an IEC international standard in late 2024, the consortium introduced a 25W specification in 2025. The 50W standard is the next target, with an expected release date in 2028.

Much of the discussion at the Beijing conference centered on Xiaomi’s proposed hardware architecture for the upcoming Qi 50W standard. According to Xiaomi, the existing coil design requirements for the Qi2 standard are restrictive and present thermal management challenges, particularly for foldable phones and automotive charging pads. To address this, Xiaomi spent two years developing a low-inductance, low-voltage charging architecture.

This alternative design is intended to reduce coil loss and improve heat dissipation while making the charging modules easier to integrate into modern devices. Xiaomi submitted the proposal to the WPC in late 2024 and completed cross-vendor testing with 25W and 50W prototypes throughout 2025. In the first quarter of 2026, the WPC officially incorporated this architecture into the drafting process for the Qi 50W standard.

During the recent four-day event, more than 20 companies participated in a Plugfest. This standard industry testing process involves checking different chips, coils, and devices against one another to identify compatibility issues. Companies like Anker, NXP, and Southchip tested their prototype hardware to ensure that future 50W chargers will work safely and reliably across different device brands.

For Chinese hardware manufacturers, getting their low-inductance charging technology integrated into the global Qi standard is a practical business requirement. It ensures their domestic supply chains remain compatible with international markets, preventing regional fragmentation in wireless charging standards.

In September, Xiaomi may unveil the Xiaomi 18 series of flagship phones in China. Last year’s Xiaomi 17 packed a 6.3-inch display, but its successor is said to feature a slightly larger display of around 6.4 inches. It is speculated that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will also come equipped with the same-sized display but will pack better cameras than the standard Xiaomi 18. Now, in a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has seemingly shared more details about what appears to be the Pro edition.

Xiaomi 18 Pro key details tipped

As per the leak, the Xiaomi 18 Pro may bring several flagship-grade upgrades despite not featuring the same display technology as its larger sibling, which appears to be the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. The tipster claims the phone will offer the same ultra-clear display and ultra-narrow, symmetrical bezels. For security, it will have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

The device will be powered by a 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6-series flagship chipset and a larger battery, with support for 100W wired and wireless charging. It will feature a dual 200-megapixel camera system, with at least one camera using an ultra-large image sensor. It will have a minimalist design and offer top-tier water resistance.

According to previous reports, the Xiaomi 18, 18 Pro, and 18 Pro Max will feature triple rear cameras, with the Pro models offering dual 200-megapixel cameras, while the standard model will have a single 200-megapixel camera. Therefore, it appears the above leak pertains to the Xiaomi 18 Pro.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro’s camera setup is said to include a 200-megapixel SmartSens primary camera equipped with LOFIC technology. It could be joined by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

While the tipster has not mentioned the battery size in today’s leak, the device has previously been said to house a battery of around 7,000mAh. Some reports have also revealed that it will retain the rear display, but it will be more AI-driven and versatile than before. Additionally, the front display may arrive with a Samsung-like Privacy Display feature.

It is also being said that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max may launch in September. Last year, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in December. Therefore, it is likely that the Xiaomi 18 Ultra’s December 2026 launch could be joined by the standard Xiaomi 18.

Xiaomi has opened pre-orders in China for the Mijia Smart Electric Kettle Pro 5L, a countertop water dispenser designed for households that need a constant supply of temperature-controlled hot water. The product is priced at 699 yuan ($102), while the current pre-order offer brings it down to 669 yuan ($98).

Mijia Smart Electric Kettle Pro 5L Specifications

Unlike standard electric kettles, the Mijia Pro 5L operates as a stationary water boiler. It comes with an internal water circulation system. In standard large-capacity dispensers, water often settles into temperature layers, leaving the liquid at the top much hotter than the liquid at the bottom.

Xiaomi says its convection system keeps the water moving while in keep-warm mode. According to the company, this limits the temperature variance between the top and bottom of the tank to ±2°C after 30 minutes of heat retention.

The device allows for specific temperature adjustments. Along with standard presets for coffee, tea, and baby formula, users can manually adjust the target temperature in 1°C increments. Dispensing volumes are also adjustable, with presets for standard cup sizes and manual adjustments available in 50mL or 100mL steps. All of these settings, along with a live water level readout from the electronic sensor, can be managed remotely through the Mijia companion app.

Inside, the kettle uses a seamless 316L stainless steel liner. Xiaomi says that all parts touching the water are made from food-grade materials to prevent odors. For regular maintenance, the 5-liter tank is fully detachable, which makes refilling and cleaning at a sink much easier than moving the entire electrical unit.

Xiaomi also included a few practical hardware features. The kettle has a dual noise reduction system that uses sound insulation and software-controlled heating curves to keep the boiling process quiet. There is also a built-in cooling air circulation system designed to bring freshly boiled water down to a drinkable temperature faster.

The model includes an altitude detection feature that automatically adjusts the boiling point based on local elevation. It measures 234.9 by 367.4 by 352 mm, weighs 5.0kg, and comes in white.
