Back in January, Realme unveiled the Realme 16 in Vietnam. Now, the device is heading to the Indian market in the coming days. It is being advertised as India’s first selfie mirror smartphone.

Realme 16 5G’s India launch teased

The teaser released above shows the Realme 16 sporting a horizontal camera bar similar to Google Pixel phones and the iPhone Air. What sets it apart is the inclusion of a selfie mirror, which allows users to capture high-quality selfie shots using the rear cameras by relying on the mirror.

Realme hasn’t confirmed any details about the Realme 16’s specifications and features, but everything is already known through its Vietnam launch. This will be a new addition to the lineup, which already includes the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ handsets.

Realme 16 specifications

Starting from the front, the Realme 16 has a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen that offers an FHD+ resolution, up to 1,400 nits of brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on Android 16 with a layer of Realme UI 7 on top and features an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor for security.

Under the hood, the Realme 16 is powered by the Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset. In Vietnam, the device is available with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There’s also a hybrid SIM slot, which can be used to add a microSD card for additional storage.

The Realme 16 packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with 60W charging and reverse charging support. On the front, it has a 50-megapixel selfie camera, while the rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens.

The Realme 16 also includes features such as dual speakers, a 6050mm² heat dissipation unit, and IP66/68/69/69K-rated dust and water resistance. It is expected to arrive with a sub-Rs 20,000 price tag in India.

Alongside the 16T, Realme is also reportedly working on the Realme P4R, carrying the model number RMX5266. This model appears to target a slightly lower price segment within the company’s lineup.

Google Pixel 10a

Google’s Pixel A-series has long been the go-to option for people who want a simple Android phone that just works. The Pixel 10a continues that trend.

The Phone (4a) Pro is Nothing’s brand new option for a phone under $500. It keeps the company’s recognizable design language while trying to feel more polished than earlier models.

The phone includes a new Glyph Matrix on the back, which is a circular LED display made up of 137 LEDs. It can show things like a timer, a stopwatch, and such. 

Under the surface, the Phone (4a) Pro runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and features a 6.83-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with 5000 nits of peak brightness.

As for the camera system, you get a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C sensor for the main camera with optical image stabilization. This is paired with a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope camera offering 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. 

Nothing’s software is also fairly clean, which helps the phone feel responsive. The Phone (4a) Pro is not the most powerful option here, but it’s arguably the one with the most personality.

OnePlus 15R

OnePlus has traditionally used its “R” series to deliver strong performance at lower prices, and the 15R follows the same idea.

The phone focuses on two things: speed and battery life. It runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 paired with a dedicated chip that enables 3200Hz of touch sampling rate. 

Speaking of which, it has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display that refreshes at 165Hz. This screen is also PWM capable, HDR 10+, and Dolby Vision certified with a peak brightness of 3600 nits. 

Its biggest highlight, though, is the battery. The 15R includes a 7400mAh battery that can comfortably last through a full day and often stretch into a second day depending on usage. It supports 80W fast charging. 

You also get a fairly decent camera specs of 50MP-megapixel Sony IMX906 main sensor with optical image stabilization, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. There is no dedicated telephoto camera here, so zoom relies on digital cropping.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion

Motorola’s Edge Fusion series has quietly become one of the more balanced options in the midrange market. The Edge 70 Fusion continues that pattern.

Rather than focusing on one standout feature, the phone aims for overall balance. It includes a capable Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, a smooth6.78-inch curved OLED display, and a relatively clean version of Android 16. 

The device carries a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 68W fast charging, which the company claims can provide a full day’s usage with a short charge.

Its camera hardware includes a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 710 primary camera with optical image stabilisation. The setup also includes a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera with macro support and a dedicated light sensor.

The Edge 70 Fusion is the most affordable option on this list. Its 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 26,999 (~$300), the 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs 29,999 (~$330), and the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 32,999 (~$360). 

Realme 16 Pro

Realme often competes in the midrange market by focusing on big numbers in the spec sheet, and the 16 Pro is no different.

One of the first things you notice is the battery. The phone includes a 700mAh battery, which can easily last more than a day with moderate use. It supports 80W wired charging. 

On the front, it has a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach a whopping 6500 nits of peak brightness and is protected by AGC DT Star D+ glass. 

Cameras include a 200MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide on the back. The front has a 50MP selfie camera. Powering everything is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max 5G chipset with an Arm Mali G615 GPU. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. 

Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock, and all standard sensors.

The midrange market keeps getting better

Looking at these five phones together shows how much the midrange segment has evolved. Not long ago, phones under $500 required obvious compromises, slower processors, weaker cameras, or short software support.

That’s no longer always the case.

The Google Pixel 10a focuses on software and camera reliability. The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro offers a design that stands apart from typical smartphones. Realme has finally launched its latest budget smartphone, the Realme Note 80, in select Southeast Asian markets, including the Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand. The device is essentially a slightly trimmed-down version of the Narzo 80 Lite 4G, which debuted in India last year.

Realme Note 80 Specifications

The Realme Note 80 features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 90.4% screen-to-body ratio. The display offers 450 nits of typical brightness, peaks at 563 nits in High Brightness Mode, and supports a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz.

The device features the Unisoc T7250 chipset, which powers the device with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 GPU. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers two storage options: 64GB and 128GB.

The smartphone has an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera, both supporting video recording. The rear camera records 1080p at 30fps and includes features like Night mode, Portrait mode, Panorama, Dual-view video, and up to 10x digital zoom.

Realme looks ready to expand its Note lineup once again. According to a new report, the company is set to announce the Realme Note 80 on March 5th.

The report doesn’t stop at the launch date, either. It also spills the full spec sheet ahead of the official reveal. Here’s what to expect.

Realme Note 80 Specifications 

The Note 80 is built around a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 563 nits. The screen is protected by an “ArmorShell” protection, which can reportedly survive drops from heights up to 1.8 meters. The phone also carries an IP54 rating and even supports wet-hand touch input. 

Under the hood, it runs on an octa-core processor with an AnTuTu score of over 390,000. Realme is also guarentting 48-month of fluency. 

Moving on, the Note 80 packs a large 6,300mAh battery with support for 15W charging. Realme says the battery is designed to maintain its health for up to four years. The phone is also rated to function in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C. 

Its camera hardware is modest, though. It features an 8-megapixel rear sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera. While not high on megapixels, Realme is emphasizing n built-in software features like object removal, face enhancement, and background cutouts.

Design-wise, the Note 80 measures 7.94mm thick and weighs 197 grams, which keeps it relatively slim despite what’s inside. Realme plans to offer it in Glacier Blue and Storm Black options. 

We are still not sure of the pricing details, and Realme hasn’t shared official availability information yet. But based on its specifications, the Realme Note 80 is an entry-level smartphone that delivers on the essentials.

The brand has now officially confirmed that the Narzo Power 5G will debut on March 5. Like other Narzo devices, the upcoming model will be sold via Amazon alongside Realme’s official stores. A dedicated microsite on Amazon and Realme India’s website has started revealing important details, giving a clearer picture of what buyers can expect from the device ahead of its announcement.

Realme Narzo Power 5G specifications

The Realme Narzo Power 5G is positioned as a feature-rich mid-range smartphone, centred around a large 6.8-inch AMOLED curved display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is claimed to deliver peak brightness levels of up to 6500 nits, suggesting improved outdoor visibility and HDR performance.

Powering the device is the Dimensity 7400 chipset paired with a Hyper Vision+ AI chip, which is likely designed to enhance image processing, gaming performance, and system efficiency.

For photography, the handset includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS support, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 16-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls, while 4K video recording is supported.

Realme C83 key specs and features confirmed

Even though it is an entry-level 5G phone, the Realme C83 5G packs a 144Hz refresh rate display, but the screen size has not been confirmed. Also, there is no clarity on whether it will support an HD+ or FHD+ resolution.

Realme C83 5G will pack a 7,000mAh battery and promises 15.6 hours of gaming, 27.7 hours of video playback, 58.5 hours of calling, and 890 hours of standby time. Realme claims the battery will remain healthy for up to six years. It supports reverse charging and bypass charging.

It features MIL-STD-810H grade shock resistance and an IP64-rated dust and water resistance. It will be available in Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green shades. The rest of the details are under wraps.

The C83, which bears the model number RMX5256, was recently spotted on Geekbench with the Dimensity 6300 chip, 6GB of RAM, and Android 16. At present, there is no information about the camera capabilities of the C83.

This device will arrive as a successor to last year’s Realme C73 5G, which featured a 6.67-inch IPS LCD HD+ 120Hz display, a 32-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera. Under the hood, it featured the Dimensity 6300, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage.

As per a recent leak from Xpert Pick, the C83 will be available in three configurations, such as 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB. These variants are likely to cost Rs 13,499, Rs 14,499, and Rs 17,999, respectively.

Recent leaks surrounding the Realme GT 9 series reveal that the lineup may feature dual 200-megapixel cameras.

Realme GT 9 series camera capabilities tipped

As is known, several smartphone brands are expected to offer dual 200-megapixel cameras on their flagship offerings this year. Some of these include the Oppo Find X9s Pro, Oppo Find X9 Ultra, and Vivo X300 Ultra. As seen in the screengrab below, tipster Smart Pikachu claims that the Realme GT 9 series’ current plan appears to favor a dual 200-megapixel camera setup aimed at pushing imaging performance higher, along with strengthened co-branded image tuning.

The Realme GT 8 Pro already features a 200-megapixel primary camera, and it appears that the Realme GT 9 Pro’s rear camera setup could include a pair of 200-megapixel sensors, likely for the main and periscope telephoto cameras. The leak suggests that the Ricoh partnership will offer deeper tuning for an enhanced photography experience.

Shown above is a Wisdom Pikachu Weibo post from earlier this month. In it, he claims that the entire GT 9 lineup will have a 200-megapixel camera. This suggests that the vanilla Realme GT 9 may also feature a 200-megapixel camera, but the company may not offer dual 200-megapixel sensors on this phone in a bid to differentiate it from the Pro variant.

At present, nothing else is known about the Realme GT 9 series. The lineup will likely be announced in October this year. The GT 8 and GT 8 Pro were powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets, respectively. Therefore, the GT 9 Pro may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, but it remains to be seen whether the GT 9 will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.

I have been using the Realme P4 Lite 4G in the Sea Blue finish for a short while now, and with the confirmed specifications and pricing in place, the positioning becomes much clearer. This is an affordable 4G LTE smartphone that leans heavily on battery life, durability and everyday usability rather than performance or camera ambition. That said, Realme has added a couple of interesting visual and software touches that make it feel less basic than it sounds on paper.

After setting it up, taking calls, browsing, watching videos and using it as a primary device for basic tasks, here is how it feels.

Design and in-hand feel

The Sea Blue variant has a clean, subtle finish. It reflects light softly and does not look overly glossy. It feels youthful without being flashy. The colour options officially include Obsidian Black, Sea Blue and Beach Gold, giving buyers some variety at this price.

The Realme P4 Lite measures 167.2 x 76.6 x 7.94mm and weighs 201g. Despite packing a large 6,300mAh battery, it remains under 8mm thick, which is impressive. In hand, the weight is noticeable but not uncomfortable. The flat sides make it easier to grip, and the back does not feel slippery.

Build quality is plastic, but it does not feel fragile. Importantly, the phone carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H grade shock resistance. That makes it more reassuring for rough usage.

You also get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which feels responsive and naturally placed.

Pulse Light adds personality

One feature that genuinely stands out in this segment is the Pulse Light. This is a large ring-shaped RGB notification LED placed around the rear camera module. It is not just decorative. It can be customized with nine different colors and supports multiple glowing effects.

You can assign it for notifications, alarms, music playback, battery alerts, and even camera usage. There is also an option to keep it always on purely for aesthetics. In a price bracket where most phones look and feel utilitarian, this adds a sense of personality.

It is subtle enough not to feel gimmicky but noticeable enough to differentiate the device from other entry-level phones.

Display experience

The device features a 6.74-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution. At this size, Full HD would have been ideal, but in practical use, the display is serviceable for the segment.

The 90Hz refresh rate does make scrolling smoother compared to standard 60Hz panels. Social media navigation and UI transitions feel reasonably fluid. Colours are decent for an LCD, and indoor brightness levels are comfortable.

For video streaming and casual content consumption, the panel performs adequately. It is not razor sharp, but it works for its intended audience.

Performance and software

The Realme P4 Lite 4G runs on Android 15 with Realme UI on top. While the OS is an older generation, Realme offers its set of customizations, such as Pulse Light, Mini Capsule, Riding Mode, Dynamic Button, and AI Noise Reduction.

Performance is tuned for light tasks such as calls, WhatsApp, YouTube, browsing and basic apps. Multitasking is manageable, especially if you opt for the 128GB storage variant.

There is also a Mini Capsule feature within the Special Features section in Settings. It works similarly to Dynamic Island on recent iPhones. It displays small interactive alerts around the front camera cut-out for things like charging status, data usage and other system notifications. It is not as advanced, but it does make the interface feel more modern and interactive.

Battery life remains the headline feature

The 6,300mAh battery is the biggest highlight. In early usage, endurance looks strong. For moderate use, including calling, messaging, browsing and video streaming, this can easily stretch beyond a single day. Lighter users may get close to two days.

Charging is rated at 15W. It is not fast, and given the large battery capacity, a full charge takes time. The trade-off is clearly long endurance over quick top-ups.

Camera performance and other features

In daylight, the 13-megapixel sensor captures usable images with acceptable color reproduction. Detail levels are average, and dynamic range is limited. Low light performance is basic.

The 5-megapixel front camera is suitable for video calls and occasional selfies, but is not particularly sharp. Overall, the cameras are functional rather than standout.

Connectivity features include 4G LTE support, Wi Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2 and a USB Type C port. The side fingerprint scanner adds convenience.

There is no 5G here, which may matter to some buyers, but the focus is clearly on battery, durability, and affordability.

Early verdict

After using the Realme P4 Lite 4G for a short period, it feels like a phone designed for practicality first, with a bit of added flair through the Pulse Light and Mini Capsule features.

The Sea Blue variant looks clean and modern. The display is adequate with the benefit of 90Hz. Performance is entry-level, cameras are basic, but the 6,300mAh battery and durability features give it a strong foundation.

If your priorities are long battery life, rugged reassurance, and a sub-Rs 12,000 budget, this device makes practical sense.

According to information sourced through retail channels and employees, Realme has reportedly started layoffs within its Indian sales operations. Area sales managers, ground staff, and retail-focused employees are said to be among those impacted as the company looks to reduce operational costs and streamline internal functions.

Sources from Gujarat first highlighted the issue, after which confirmations reportedly came from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and other regions. Some employees claim they have been asked to submit resignations, with timelines suggesting their roles could end by April 30 as part of cost-cutting efforts. The restructuring appears to follow earlier reports that Realme will move back under Oppo’s organizational structure as a sub-brand.

This shift means that several operational functions such as marketing, service networks, and distribution could increasingly align with Oppo’s existing infrastructure. As a result, overlapping roles within Realme may no longer be required, which could explain the reported workforce reductions.

So finally, the clip-style earbuds are now reaching the Indian market. Realme, the popular smartphone brand, has introduced its first clip-style open-ear true wireless earbuds called the Realme Buds Clip. Let’s check out its key specs and pricing.

Pricing and Availability

The Buds Clip is priced at ₹5,999 ($65) and will be available starting February 5 at 12 PM. Buyers can avail an instant ₹500 ($5.44) discount as part of an introductory offer, bringing the effective price down to ₹5,499 ($60). The earbuds will be sold via Realme’s official website, Flipkart, Amazon.in, and offline retail stores.

Realme Buds Clip Specifications

The Buds Clip uses an 11mm dual-magnet large-amplitude speaker unit paired with a custom NextBass algorithm to enhance low-frequency performance. Realme claims output levels of up to 85dB sound pressure and a low-frequency boost of up to 100%, along with support for 3D spatial audio and directional sound technology to reduce audio leakage and improve immersion.

The earbuds also feature dual-mic AI-powered environmental noise cancellation, real-time translation for over 30 languages, and Gemini-based voice assistant integration.

On the connectivity front, the earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC and AAC codecs, along with customizable tap controls, dual-device connection, and 45ms ultra-low latency for gaming, with gesture functions configurable via the Realme Link app. The Buds Clip also supports Swift Pair for quick Android pairing and carries an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.

Each earbud packs a 45mAh battery, while the case contains a 530mAh unit. Realme claims 7 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 36 hours with the charging case. Charging is via USB Type-C, with full charging times of 1 hour for the earbuds and 2 hours for the case.

Each earbud weighs 5.3g and uses a memory titanium alloy C-bridge that hugs the ear for a secure and comfortable fit. Realme claims over 10,000 expansion and 3,000 torsion resistance cycles for the frame. The earbuds come in Titanium Black and Titanium Gold, with a matte finish that resists sweat and oil.

The first global smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery is here. Realme today announced the Realme P4 Power in India, featuring a 10,000mAh battery, bold claims about its runtime, and a starting price of just Rs 28,999 (~$285). Talk about value.

A battery that’s doing most of the talking

The Realme P4 Power 5G’s biggest selling point is, unsurprisingly, its battery. With a capacity of 10,001mAh, this is one of the largest batteries you’ll find in a mainstream smartphone in India right now. 

Realme says it’s the world’s first 10,000mAh-plus battery to pass a military-grade shock resistance test (MIL-STD-810), which is an interesting claim for a phone that’s meant to be used daily.

Realme has also shared some bold endurance numbers. It claims up to 932 hours of standby, over 72 hours of calling, around 32 hours of YouTube playback, and more than 21 hours of navigation. Even gaming figures are impressive, with over 11 hours of BGMI gameplay on a single charge. 

Charging hasn’t been ignored either. Despite the huge battery, the phone supports 80W fast charging, along with 27W reverse wired charging for powering accessories. 

There’s also bypass charging, which lets users game or stream while plugged in without stressing the battery, and a “boost charging” feature that promises faster top-ups with a long press. 

Realme is also confident enough to offer a four-year battery health guarantee, and is even ready to replace the unit if health drops below 80 percent. The service, however, is only applicable to first-sale units. 

The rest of the phone

Beyond the battery, the Realme P4 Power 5G packs a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, curved edges, and up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, and includes a dedicated HyperVision+ AI chip.

Camera specs include a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP sensor, while the front has a 16MP Sony IMX480 sensor. The phone runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0, and Realme is promising three years of Android updates and four years of security patches.

Other features include IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings, an IR blaster, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and a relatively slim 9.1mm body weighing 219 grams. It comes in TransSilver, TransOrange, and TransBlue, all using Realme’s new TransView design language.

Realme P4 Power Price and Availability

The phone starts at Rs 25,999 for the 8GB/128GB model. Likewise, the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants will retail at Rs 27,999 and Rs 30,999, respectively. The first sale of the Realme P4 Power begins on February 5 via the e-commerce platform Flipkart.

There are a couple of existing and upcoming 200MP sensors, which include:

Samsung ISOCELL HP5

Launched in October 2025, the Samsung ISOCELL HP5 200-megapixel sensor has been made available on mid-range, mid-premium, and flagship phones since the latter half of 2025. On mid-tier phones like the Vivo V60e or performance-focused flagships like the iQOO Z11 Turbo, this 200-megapixel sensor is coupled with an ultra-wide camera. On mid-premium phones and flagships, it is paired with more powerful ultra-wide and telephoto cameras.

Samsung HPB (Custom Samsung ISOCELL HP9 variant)

The Samsung HPB is Vivo’s customized version of the existing Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor, which was launched in 2024. The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are the only phones to feature this sensor so far. In the future as well, it is expected to remain exclusive to Vivo smartphones.

There are Samsung HP3 and HP2 200-megapixel cameras as well, but those are not expected to be widely used in 2026.

OmniVision OV52A

The upcoming OmniVision OV52A 200-megapixel camera sensor, which is reportedly built on a 40nm process, is a 1/2.8-inch sensor. Since it does not use AON (Alternating Optical Array), it is said to consume less power than the flagship-grade 50-megapixel OV50Q sensor. The OV52A is expected to appear on mid-range and even higher-end phones in 2026.

Sony LYT-901

Sony has already launched the Sony LYT-901 sensor, and it is expected to be seen on premium flagships this year. It is a 1/1.12-inch 200-megapixel stacked CMOS smartphone image sensor with 0.7µm pixels, Quad-Quad Bayer Coding, on-sensor AI remosaicing, all-pixel AF, and up to 4× in-sensor zoom.

Realme

The Realme GT 8 Pro is equipped with the Samsung HP5 as the primary sensor. This sensor is also available as the primary camera on the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+.

Honor

The Honor Magic 8 Pro flagship phone features the Samsung HP9. The Honor 500 and 500 Pro, which are currently available only in China, feature the Samsung HP3 200-megapixel camera sensor.

Samsung

The Galaxy Z TriFold, which is Samsung’s first tri-foldable phone, features the Samsung HP2 200-megapixel camera sensor.

Xiaomi

The above screenshot, which reveals the pricing details of the Realme Neo 8, has reportedly originated from Oppo’s smart customer support system. The leak reveals four configurations, including 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB variants.

As per the leak, these variants are priced at 2,599 Yuan ($375), 3,099 Yuan ($457), 3,399 Yuan ($490), and 3,899 Yuan ($560), respectively. While color options are not mentioned in the leak, the phone is expected to be available in Origin White, Mecha Grey, and Cyber Purple shades.

The four Android OS update policy is very welcoming from Realme, but it really shouldn’t be limited to premium phones. Even premium mid-range phones, such as the Realme 16 Pro+, which costs up to INR 45,000, only guarantee up to three Android OS updates.

Realme really needs to up its software update policy, as its competitors are doing it aggressively. Take Motorola, for example: the brand isn’t well-reputed for software updates, but it has been greatly improving rollout speed for the last few months. Not just that, the brand now promises up to five major OS updates for many of its mid-range phones, and recently matched Google and Samsung by promising seven years of Android OS support for the Motorola Signature smartphone.

Its Chinese rivals, including Oppo and Xiaomi, are also ahead with up to five major Android OS updates. Additionally, they promise longer updates to newer mid-range phones. So, I guess Realme wouldn’t want its customers to switch to other brands just for this reason, and therefore, we’ll likely see an improved software update policy anytime soon, at least for mid-range phones.

Realme is expected to soon launch the Realme P4 Power phone equipped with an enormous 10,000mAh battery. Reports have revealed that the said device carries the model number RMX5107. The same device has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing some of its key specifications.

The Realme P4 Power (RMX5107) has emerged on Geekbench with the Dimensity 7400 chipset. As usual, the chipset’s name is not explicitly mentioned in the listing. Instead, it reveals the CPU configuration and GPU details through metadata.

The chipset includes four CPU cores clocked at 2.00GHz and four CPU cores operating at 2.60GHz. For graphics, it is equipped with the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.

The Geekbench listing further reveals that the device packs 12GB of RAM and runs Android 16, which is likely layered with Realme UI 7. The brand has already confirmed that the phone will receive three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches.

On Geekbench 6.5, the Realme P4 Power scored 1,075 points in the single-core test and 2,919 points in the multi-core test. These scores align with what is typically seen from smartphones powered by the D7400 chipset.

As per other reports, the P4 Power will feature a quad-curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. It is also tipped to support 80W wired charging, 27W reverse charging, and bypass charging. The phone is expected to ship with 256GB of storage and arrive in colour options such as orange, silver, and blue. Despite packing a massive battery, it is expected to weigh around 218 grams.

Realme is gearing up to introduce its Buds Clip TWS earbuds in India soon. These are a pair of new open-ear hearables that bring a fresh form factor that rests on the outside of the ear rather than entering the canal. So here’s what you need to know.

Realme Buds Clip Launching in India Soon

In a fresh teaser, the Chinese brand confirmed that the Realme Buds Clip is launching in the Indian market later this month. Looking at the earbuds, these feature a look design that goes around the ear. Unlike a tradition in-ear design with the silicone tips going inside the ear canal, these earbuds sit on the external part of the ear. So you get reduced ear fatigue and make them comfortable for extended listening sessions.

Another major advantage of these earbuds is that they offer a press free fit that lets users stay aware of their environment. Realme positions the Buds Clip as a practical choice for people who balance music consumption with daily activities. To recall, the Realme Buds Clip was previously launched globally and is now finally arriving in India. So far, Realme has only confirmed its light 5.3 gram weight, NextBass algorithm, and up to 36 hours of battery life.

But based on the earlier release, we can expect it to also offer 11mm drivers, built-in AI Translator with support for multiple languages, Bluetooth 5.4 with support for Swift Pair and dual device connection, 45ms low latency mode for gaming, and an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. Looking at the teaser poster, the upcoming Realme Buds Clip can be seen in the Titanium Gold colorway, but it’s unclear if the Titanium Black variant will also debut in India.
