Hogwarts Legacy 2 May Be a Much Better Game Than You Expected Based of This Statement.

In 2023, Hogwarts Legacy launched on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, making a huge impact on the gaming world within its first week. Developed by Avalanche Software, the game quickly sold millions and became the top-selling title. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the publisher, recently revealed the total sales figures since the game’s release, showing its ongoing popularity Here are the details…

Hogwarts Legacy is Breaking Sales Record

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment President David Haddad revealed in an interview that Hogwarts Legacy has sold over 22 million copies, making it the top-selling game of 2023. If we were to compare, The Last of Us series, which consisting of two games, has achieved an impressive success by selling 37 million copies to date. Although the game is largely exclusive to PlayStation, Hogwarts Legacy has been on the market for only 10 months.

Hogwarts Legacy

This development is important not only for the developer and publisher company but also for the players. As someone who played the first game, I can say that Hogwarts Legacy had some significant shortcomings. Unfortunately, the developing company didn’t have enough experience and resources to create such a comprehensive game, which resulted in missing anticipated gameplay mechanics like Quidditch. However, the company now has better financial resources thanks to the experience gained from the first game and its sales figures. Even though the release date for Hogwarts Legacy 2 is likely a few years away, it seems that the wait will be worthwhile for an improved game.

Lenovo unveils innovative Magic Bay Studio and expands Magic Bay Ecosystem at CES 2024

Lenovo has introduced the Magic Bay Studio, an impressive 4K webcam solution with integrated speakers, showcased at CES 2024. Scheduled for release in April with a price tag of $199.99, the Magic Bay Studio promises cutting-edge 4K camera technology, although 4K resolution is supported only in certain applications. Notably, the webcam lacks an integrated microphone, necessitating the use of external or built-in laptop microphones during conference calls.

The Magic Bay Studio stands out with its 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor, offering up to 4x digital zoom, autofocus, HDR, and a versatile 90° field of view (FOV) that can be digitally cropped to 65° or 78°. The camera also boasts a lens cover, ensuring privacy when not in use. With a recording capability of 4K at 30 FPS, Lenovo has not clarified the availability of a 60 FPS mode.

Moreover, the Magic Bay Studio enhances the audio experience by incorporating a pair of 2 W speakers. When attached to a Magic Bay-compatible Lenovo laptop, it increases the total number of speakers from four to six, delivering a more expansive soundscape for an immersive audio-visual experience during meetings or presentations.

In addition to the Magic Bay Studio, Lenovo is expanding its Magic Bay ecosystem with innovative peripherals. Among the prototypes showcased at CES 2024 is a detachable SSD drive for convenient storage expansion and sharing, offering users the ability to add up to a couple of terabytes of storage on their laptops.

Another notable addition is the Magic Bay add-on screen, providing a 10-inch panel above the laptop’s existing display for a dual-screen setup. This unique attachment introduces a visually engaging way to expand the display and enhance productivity.

Lenovo is also experimenting with a circular snap-on display designed to pair with AI software on the laptop. This tiny display, not intended for app or data display, serves as an animated face for the on-device AI assistant, adding a distinct and personal touch to the user’s interaction with the AI companion.

While the Magic Bay Studio is set to launch in April for $199.99, Lenovo has not yet confirmed the European pricing or availability.

LG’s World’s First Wireless Transparent OLED Unveiled at CES 2024

The competition in the smart TV market is heating up and as always consumers are the winners of this competition. For example today even really big TVs that used to cost a fortune are much cheaper. That’s why companies are focusing more on technology rather than just size. LG, aware of this situation, is determined to win against its biggest rival, Samsung. In line with this, the company has recently unveiled the world’s first wireless, transparent OLED TV, named the Signature OLED TV at CES 2024.

LG Dominates CES 2024 with World’s First Transparent OLED TV

Advancements in imaging technologies are progressing rapidly, possibly outpacing the evolution of smartphones. Once centered on panel types and resolutions, the current market now boasts innovations such as transparent TVs. While Xiaomi took the initial step in this field with the Mi TV Lux transparent TV, LG seems to have taken the lead in the race with its world-first transparent OLED TV showcased at CES 2024.

The LG Signature OLED TV stands out with its world-first transparent OLED panel, showcasing a 77-inch screen and impressive 4K image quality. Designed for those who value aesthetics, this model’s wireless function and the Zero Connect box make cable management effortless. It also includes the new Alpha 11 AI processor, promising notably enhanced image quality as per the company’s claims.

It’s worth noting that LG currently holds the second position in the global TV market with a 12.2% share, while Samsung is comfortably leading with 33.3%. Although securing second place is a “great” achievement, the Korean tech giant aims to narrow the gap with its biggest rival and ideally surpass it. For this, innovation is crucial. Transparent TVs might be considered a luxury consumer product today, but they could potentially become mainstream in the near future. Who knows, they might even replace windows someday.

MSI Dominates CES 2024 with AI-Ready 18-Inch Titan, Raider, Stealth Gaming Laptops

MSI continues to expand its product lineup. During the recent CES 2024 in Las Vegas, the company unveiled new laptops alongside its first gaming handheld. However, stealing the spotlight at the event wasn’t the handheld, but rather the new 18-inch gaming laptops family. The series, consisting of three different models – Titan 18 HX, Raider 18 HX, and Stealth 18 AI Studio – already became the highlight of this year’s CES due to their design and features. Here are the details…

MSI Unveils Waves of AI-Ready Laptops & Its First Gaming Handheld at CES 2024

While portable devices are essential, enjoying content on a larger screen offers an incomparable experience. Acknowledging this, MSI has combined portability with an 18-inch screen size in its new gaming laptop models. The Titan 18 HX, Raider 18 HX, and Stealth 18 AI Studio models all boast a giant display.

MSI 18-inch gaming laptops

All these laptops feature high-performance processors such as the i9 and offer various Nvidia GeForce GPU choices, ranging from the RTX 4070 to the RTX 4090. They also support DDR5 RAM up to 128 GB, except for the Stealth 18 AI Studio, which has a maximum limit of 64 GB. Another feature they share on the screen side is the panel technology.

MSI has used MiniLED instead of LCD in all three models. Thanks to the dimming zones provided by this technology, you’ll have color accuracy that challenges OLED screens. Additionally, you’ll achieve the desired brightness for outdoor gaming. The features of each model are as follows:

Revolution in Your Pocket – How AI is Shaping the Future of Smartphones with Apple and Samsung

Apple and Samsung are two of the biggest names in the smartphone world, and they’re both diving headfirst into the future of AI. The tech industry is buzzing about AI and its potential to change our devices and how we use them. Let’s take a closer look at what these tech giants are up to.

Samsung is launching its Galaxy S24 on January 17 this month

Samsung is getting a lot of attention with its Galaxy S24, set to debut at Unpacked on January 17. This phone is being called the company’s first ‘AI phone’. What exactly does that mean? Well, we’re not entirely sure yet, but it’s expected to have smarter AI features and the ability to understand and process language better than ever before.

Meanwhile, Apple isn’t sitting back. Rumor has it that they’re working on some cool AI stuff for their next iPhone series and iOS 18. We might get a sneak peek at these new features at WWDC this summer. Apple’s plans include tools to help people create apps, make writing and presenting easier, and even jazz up Apple Music with automatic playlist creation. And get this – Siri might be getting a major upgrade too, with new AI capabilities by the end of the year.

It’s not just about having the latest hardware anymore. Both Samsung and Apple seem to understand that. With AI, these phones could become more like personal assistants, understanding and anticipating our needs in ways we haven’t seen before.
