Following its successful launch in China, Xiaomi fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the highly anticipated Xiaomi 13 Ultra in their respective regions. The global journey of this highly anticipated smartphone has now commenced with its official release in Hong Kong.

Samsung has officially confirmed that it will conduct a Galaxy Unpacked event in the last week of July. Although the dates have not been explicitly revealed, it will happen between July 24 and July 28 with rumors hinting at July 26 as the possible date. This year marks the first time Samsung will be conducting the Galaxy Unpacked event in its home country.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event confirmed for next month

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in South Korea at the end of next month. It will be hosted in Seol at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam. It is said to be a unique location offering the world a blend of the past, present, and future.

Since the first Unpacked event way back in 2010 in Las Vegas, Samsung has held every Unpacked event in key cities around the world like New York, Berlin, London, and Barcelona. With the upcoming event in Seol, Samsung says that it is shifting the direction for Unpacked for foldable devices to “focus on different trend-leading cultural cities around the globe that closely align with the designated theme of each event.”

The company added that Seol was selected because of its role in influencing global trends with its dynamic culture and innovation and it also reflects the brand’s strong confidence in the foldable category.

The South Korean brand is aiming to drive the widespread adoption of its foldable phones and boost its position as an industry and category leader.

At the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung is expected to announce the fifth-generation Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, as well as the Galaxy Watch 6 series and Galaxy Tab S9 lineup.

AMD is apparently working on a next gen mobile graphics card for upcoming gaming notebooks. The new GPU had its benchmark performance leaked, which reveals that it can rival a popular RTX 4000 series card from Nvidia.

AMD Radeon RX 7800M XT may soon ship in mid range gaming laptops

The performance leak arrives from benchmark sighting on 3DMark TimeSpy, which is a popular benchmarking platform. This leak shows that the upcoming mobile GPU will be based on the Navi 32 GPU and will feature 3,840 stream processors. Furthermore, the new Team Red GPU will have 60 CUs (Compute Units) and will offer 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM. It will be equipped with 240 TMUs (Texture Mapping Units) and 128 ROPs (Raster Outputs). Notably, this leak also arrives after the company announced the Ryzen XDNA AI tech during the Computer 2023 event.

Since it is a mobile variant for notebooks, the new AMD Radeon RX 7800M XT will likely feature lower memory bus with lower clockspeeds compared to its yet to be announced desktop variant. This means that it could feature a 192 bit bus spread across three MCDs (Memory Complex Dies) with up to 64MB of L3 or Infinity Cache. Looking at the benchmark scores, the RX 7800M XT scored 17,842 points in the 3DMark TimeSpy test.

In other words, this can rival the Nvidia GeFore RTX 4070 or even the RTX 3080 desktop graphics card. It is even on par with the RTX 4080 mobile version as well. This is quite impressive since the Radeon RTX 7900 XT can rival the RTX 4070 Ti desktop graphics card variant. Meaning, the new Radeon RX 7800M XT will likely be found in upcoming mid range gaming laptops as well.

The Vivo V29 is expected to launch soon in multiple markets. The device has now appeared in the database of the Bluetooth SIG authority, revealing its model number. Now that the device has been Bluetooth certified, it appears that it will launch later this month or in the beginning weeks of July.

The Bluetooth certification of the Vivo V29 5G confirms that its model number is V2250. The said device was spotted yesterday on the Geekbench benchmarking site with some of its key specs.

The listing revealed that the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and Android 13 OS. Its other details are yet to be revealed.

The Vivo V29 Pro 5G, which is expected to launch soon, has the model number V2251. The brand inadvertently confirmed recently that it will arrive with a 6.7-inch OLED panel with curved edges. It will offer an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a possibility that it could be powered by the Dimensity 8200.

The ongoing patent dispute between Nokia and Oppo has had significant implications for Oppo’s advertising efforts in select European markets. Consequently, Oppo has reportedly chosen to withdraw from markets such as Germany and France due to these restrictions. Similarly, Vivo, also involved in the same patent dispute with Nokia, has opted to exit the markets like Germany and Poland. However, in a recent statement (via. mGSM), Oppo has refuted rumors regarding Oppo’s departure from the Polish market. Instead, the brand disclosed the launch timelines of forthcoming products, including the Oppo Reno 10 series, which are slated for release in Poland.

In the statement, Oppo firmly denies rumors of exiting the Polish market, emphasizing its significance to the company. Oppo has scheduled launches for the rest of the year, including the Reno 10 series in July, followed by IoT devices like the Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro headphones. The company further said that it is committed to expanding its ecosystem portfolio and maintaining a strong presence in Poland.

After recently launching the LG 27GR83Q 240Hz monitor in the US market, LG has also introduced a couple of new panels in their UltraGear line. These monitors are called the UltraGear 27GR93U and UltraGear 32GR93U, and as the name suggests, the only difference between the two is their screen size.

The LG UltraGear 27GR93U features a panel size of 27 inches, while the UltraGear 32GR93U offers a larger display measuring 31.5 inches in width. Both models offer a native 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate.

These monitors feature an IPS panel with 500 nits of peak brightness which is more than enough for a gaming monitor. In addition to that, they also come with a speedy 1 ms GtG response time. Since Electric automobiles started becoming mainstream, Honda has been actively pursuing the development of electric vehicles (EVs) and has made significant strides in this domain. As per latest news, Honda’s high-performance brand, Acura has unveiled the Acura ZDX. Also, as per another announcement around the same time, the company also revealed that the Acura ZDX will be the first electric vehicle to come equipped with Google Built-in.

One of the standout features of the Acura ZDX is its “enhanced version” of Google Maps. This advanced navigation system optimizes route planning for electric vehicle drivers, highlighting charging stations along the way to reduce travel time. Additionally, Google Maps can estimate the required charging time based on the destination, enabling drivers to plan their trips more efficiently. Furthermore, when the destination is a DC fast charging station, the system can initiate battery preconditioning, which is raising the temperature of the car battery to facilitate faster charging times when one reaches the charging station.

Previously, Honda utilized custom-embedded Android software in some of its vehicles, but with Google Built-in, they are leveraging Google’s full suite of services. In the Acura ZDX, drivers can access popular Google apps like Google Assistant, Google Maps, and more through the Google Store.

Despite the integration of Google Built-in, the Acura ZDX will still support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices and user preferences. Furthermore, Honda has also revealed that the Acura ZDX will be the first model to be exclusively sold online, further solidifying the brand’s commitment to digital innovation.

The Yunan-P system combines state-of-the-art software and hardware technologies to deliver optimal control and interaction. By integrating perception, decision-making, control, and interaction, the system creates the Cloudcar-P intelligent hydraulic body control system, making the U8 a versatile vehicle capable of both urban driving and off-road traversing.

One of the key features of the Yunan-P system is its focus on comfort. With continuously adjustable damping and a road preview system utilizing cameras and laser radars, the U8 effectively minimizes the impact of wheel end beating on cockpit comfort. Whether navigating speed bumps in the city or tackling rugged off-road terrain, the U8 ensures a smooth and comfortable ride.

In addition to comfort, the U8 offers impressive performance and safety enhancements. Through body posture and driving behavior perception, the vehicle dynamically adjusts stiffness and damping in real-time, improving acceleration, deceleration, and reducing motion sickness. The Cloudcar-P system also reduces vertical displacement and roll gradient in curves.

The U8’s capabilities extend beyond the road. With a 150mm ultra-long active adjustment stroke, it can conquer various obstacles and wade through waters up to 1m deep. On high-speed roads, the U8’s height adjustment function reduces wind resistance, energy consumption, and enhances stability.

Safety is a top priority, and the U8 incorporates the Yuncar-P system, which ensures stability and safety in challenging terrains. The system’s four-wheel linkage technology prevents single-wheel off the ground and triggers a 3-level stiffness adjustment in emergency situations, reducing impact loads by 50%.

Furthermore, the U8 offers a unique camping leveling ability with a single button press, allowing users to enjoy a level interior while camping in the wild. It even features a 6kW VTOL discharge function, bringing modern comforts to outdoor adventures.
