The designs of these three phones are almost the same, there are just a few small differences such as the position of the camera module. They are available in the Chinese market in color options made of different materials, including glass and eco leather. There is an important difference in the build quality, as the Pro variants come with the IP68 certification making them waterproof, while the vanilla version has the IP64 certification and it is only splash resistant. Another important difference is the fact that the vanilla version is thinner and lighter than the Pro ones, but the difference in thickness and weight is not huge.
Display
The Vivo X90 Pro Plus is equipped with the best display. We are talking about an AMOLED panel able to show up to one billion colors with a diagonal of 6.78 inches, a Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, the LTPO 4 technology enabling an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, Dolby Vision support, HDR10+ certification, and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The Vivo X90 and the X90 Pro have the same display, which is inferior to the one found on the Pro Plus variant. It is an AMOLED panel with one billion colors, a diagonal of 6.78 inches, an 1.5 K resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate without the LTPO technology, HDR10+ certification, and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.
Specs & Software
In terms of hardware, these three devices are more or less at the same level. The Vivo X90 and the Pro variant are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 mobile platform built with a 4 nm production process and running at a max frequency of 3.05 GHz. Alongside the latest flagship chipset by Mediatek, there are up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. With the Vivo X90 Pro Plus, you get an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset built at 4 nm and running at a max frequency of 3.2 GHz: it is currently the best processor by Qualcomm and it is at the same level as the Dimensity 9200. The highest-end memory configuration is the same, with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4 storage. All the phones run Android 13 with either Funtouch OS or Origin OS depending on the region.
Camera
The Vivo X90 Pro Plus comes with the best camera, including a 50.3 MP main sensor, a 64 MP periscope camera, a 50 MP telephoto lens, and a 48 MP ultrawide shooter. The X90 Pro takes the silver medal with a 50.3 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto lens, and a 12 MP ultrawide shooter. The vanilla version is the worst with a 50 + 12 + 12 MP triple camera including a telephoto sensor and an ultrawide lens.
The vanilla Vivo X90 has the biggest battery and the fastest charging tech but, unlike the other variants, it lacks wireless charging.
Price
Vivo X90 starts from about €500/$526, the Pro starts from €700/$737 and the Pro Plus from €900/$947. Now that you know all the differences, which one would you pick?

Xiaomi has revealed that the sales volume of the MIJIA Smart Clothes Dryer has exceeded one million units since the product was first launched in 2020. This theoretically translates into providing convenient drying spaces for about 10,000 tons or 10 million pieces of clothes every day.
Xiaomi first released the MIJIA Smart Clothes Dryer in April 2020 under crowdfunding. This marked the entry of the tech giant into the smart clothes dryer sector even though similar products have been launched on the Youpin platform from eco-chain partners like Viomi.
The company improved on the original product when in December 2021 it launched the drying model of the MIJIA Smart Clothes Dryer which is capable of drying up to 10 pieces of clothes at the same time within 1 hour (lightweight clothes).
In September 2022, the MIJIA Smart Clothes Dryer Pro was released with a crowdfunding price of 1199 yuan. It adopts an ultra-thin body design and supports embedded and hidden installation. After the drying rod is retracted, it can be completely hidden inside the ceiling without blocking the sun or the window. In addition, the MIJIA smart clothes dryer can be lowered, stopped, and retracted with just a light push. Thus, it will stop if it encounters an obstacle.
The models come with a wireless remote control which can be used to remotely lift and lower the rack as well as turn on the light in the dryer. The products can also be controlled using the MIJIA app smart control and XiaoAI voice control.
The Xiaomi Smart Clothes Dryer is presently not officially sold outside CHina but it is one of the numerous MIJIA products that we hope Xiaomi will release for the global market sometime soon.

The competition in the smartphone market continues at full speed. However, one brand manages to outperform its competitors in almost every market. You guessed it right, Apple is way ahead of its competitors, especially in the premium segment. Moreover, the company maintains this dominance even in markets such as China where domestic brands are very strong. According to latest reports, Apple reaches highest ever monthly market share in China.
One in every four devices sold in China was an iPhone
Apple reached its highest ever monthly market share (25%) in China in October 2022, while becoming the #1 OEM in the country for the second consecutive month, according to Counterpoint Research’s Monthly Market Pulse Service. While the sales for other key OEMs declined in October, Apple grew 21% MoM. In YoY terms, China’s sales declined 15%, while Apple’s sales declined just 4%.
Apple has been reaching new heights in terms of market share in China during the last two years. It reached a record monthly market share in November and December 2020, and in October, November and December 2021. Notably, 2020 was also the year when US sanctions were imposed on Huawei.
Commenting on the market growth in China, Research Director Ethan Qi said, “China’s market has been sluggish due to multiple factors, including macroeconomic pressures and COVID-19 lockdowns hitting consumer sentiment. Overall sales declined 4% MoM. However, Apple managed to defy the market trend. This also shows the resilient nature of the premium segment.
Looking at the trend for the last two years in China, it is evident that Apple has emerged as a clear winner of Huawei’s share in the premium market. It has almost become an undisputed leader in China’s premium segment. The iPhone 14 series has started off well with the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max performing better than the previous generation. The iPhone 13 also continues to do well, as the iPhone 14 offers little differentiation from the iPhone 13.”
The evolution of smartphones is progressing very fast. Every year, performance and camera features are getting better than the predecessor models, but the same cannot be said about the design. For example, Apple has been criticized for using the same design with almost every iPhone. Lastly, an engineer who decided to fix Apple’s shortcomings made a curved iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Curved iPhone 14 Pro Max gain a lot of attention on social media
An engineer using the nickname fix Apple (@lipilipsi) on Twitter made a curved iPhone 14 Pro Max. Fix Apple said that he achieved this result by changing the middle frame of the phone. In the video, the phone looks flawless, and even Dynamic Island stays in place. However, there is no detail about whether the touch screen is working or not.
As you know, Apple doesn’t like their phones tampered with. As you know, Apple does not want their phones to be tampered with and is very sensitive about using original parts. Therefore, there is a possibility that there will be a problem after this process. Still, fix Apple promises to make curved screens to people who want it.
Unfortunately, there is no information about the cost of this process or on which models it is possible. For now, we’ve only seen the iPhone 14 Pro Max. @lipilipsi‘s bio says he’s engineered at Apple and Huawei. Unfortunately, we are unable to verify this information. So be careful if you want a curved iPhone 14.
Apple fans insist on design change
The curved iPhone isn’t the only modified iPhone Apple enthusiasts have made. Recently, a fan in China managed to convert his iPhone into a Galaxy Z Flip-like foldable smartphone. The video of the foldable iPhone showcases different parts of other foldable smartphones with a clamshell design. This fan’s project was a year-long effort, but it is still just a prototype and won’t come close to an actual finished product from a major tech giant.

The Galaxy A14 5G is expected to launch in two SoC versions. According to reports, the US market will receive the Dimensity 700 chipset, while the rest of the world will have to settle for a mid-range Exynos processor.

iQOO has been preparing for the launch of its upcoming iQOO 11 series of smartphones in the global market. Hinting towards the same, an upcoming iQOO 11 device has now been spotted on the NBTC certification ahead of its official launch. The device with the model number I2212 has been spotted on the NBTC certification. The device is said to be no other than the unreleased iQOO 11 device. Unfortunately, the certification doesn’t confirm anything about the smartphone.
China and Malaysia will soon host the launch of iQOO 11. The business has announced that its top-tier smartphone would debut in the two nations on December 2. The iQOO 11 Pro 5G will probably also be released by the company at the same time. The characteristics and features of the vanilla model have already begun to be teased by iQOO prior to the formal launch. The iQOO 11 Pro 5G is covered in relatively little detail. The Pro model has not yet been confirmed by the teasers. The gadget has been discovered on the Bluetooth SIG website in the interim.
It is worth mentioning that the smartphone was previously spotted on the Indian BIS certification as well. This confirms that the brand is surely working on the Indian launch of the devices and we may get to see an official announcement regarding the same in the upcoming weeks. We expect the devices to be launched somewhere around the starting months of 2022 i.e. Jan or Feb. Most probably, the device will launch in the month of Jan itself. However, all of this stands out to be an expectation so you can take the information with a pinch of salt!
Apart from this, there isn’t much else we can say about the next gadget. So, we advise you to hold off until the official announcement. That will put all of our questions to rest and provide comprehensive information about the device.

So that was all the information the publisher had to offer about the upcoming gadget. The smartphone was initially introduced in October in a few key markets, and it is now finally making its way to India.

The phone has an undisclosed octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and compatibility with microSD cards as well as up to 128GB of storage.
It has two back cameras for photography and videography, with a primary 13-megapixel wide-angle lens and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor. Corning has launched the Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is the successor to the Victus that was announced back in 2020. The newest generation glass from the company is touted to offer improved drop resistance. Corning says that Gorilla Glass has been used in eight billion devices, across 45 major brands and 85 percent of buyers in China, India, and the US consider durability as the most important factor in smartphone purchase.
Smartphones today are highly prone to potential damage since the glass is quite fragile and due to thinner, and lighter designs. Additionally, the larger the screen diagonal is, the more stress will be put on the glass when it is dropped. Corning’s latest generation Gorilla Glass Victus 2 focuses more on drop resistance. The company has adopted a new glass composition which will potentially save devices from accidental drops on rough surfaces. Asphalt can leave the screen scratched up while concrete in the worst cases can shatter the display glass.
Corning says that the drop performance of the Victus 2 has improved by up to 1m on 80-grit and up to 2m on 180-grit. In lab tests, the latest-generation glass is seen withstanding one-meter (hip height) drops on concrete whereas it survived two meters (head height) drops on an asphalt surface. Victus 2 also ensures 2x scratch resistance than previous versions and 4x better scratch performance compared to its competitors.
In a statement, Corning said “today’s smartphones are nearly 15% heavier, and screen sizes are up to 10% larger, than they were four years ago – increasing both the stress on the cover glass and the probability of damage. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 redefines tough for consumers and OEMs”.
The new Gorilla Glass Victus 2 smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, Notebook PCs, cameras, and more devices. Smartphones boasting the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 are expected to hit the markets in the coming months. Although there is no word on which would be the first device to adorn the latest generation glass, we assume it to be Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series.
Back in September, Google had officially announced that it is ending its support for the Stadia platform. The cloud gaming technology had faced many challenges and issues, and now, the company is gearing up to offer refunds to its buyers.
The Search Engine giant had stated on September 30 that it will be ending Stadia and will even be reimbursing all Stadia users who purchased games or hardware from Google. The company said that Stadia hardware purchases made from the company’s Store as well as any Stadia Store games or add on content bought will be eligible for the refunds. So one can expect that the brand is spending a lot of money to reimburse a lot of money.
For those unaware, the company began offering software refunds at the beginning of last month and now it appears that Google will now settle up on the hardware side as well. The brand will initiate the refunds by sending out emails to its customers informing them that the refunds will be issued in the next couple of weeks. The users who purchased their hardware directly from official company store will get their money back first within the next two weeks.
As of right now, the company is offering refunds on the Founders Edition, Premiere Edition, Play and watch Google TV packages, and even the Stadia controllers as well. The Stadia users will be be able to continue playing on the platform until the date of 18th of January 2023, which is when the platform will be officially shut down.
