A few days back, the Realme Pad X was tipped to launch in India in the first half of June. Now, it is being said that the tablet’s debut in the country will be delayed. Let’s check out when it may release in the region.
According to Youtuber Sahil Karoul (via Abhishek Yadav), the Realme Pad X will launch in India before July 10. Previously, the tablet was tipped to debut in the country in mid-June.
We believe the new release timeline could be accurate. Because we are already halfway through June and Realme hasn’t announced the launch date for the tablet yet.
Talking about the product, it was first announced in China in May. It is only available in the brand’s home country for now.
The Realme Pad X is the company’s most advanced tablet to date. It comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and offers an 11-inch LCD screen.
Unlike other tablets in the firm’s portfolio, this one runs the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 for Pad software. However, it’s not known whether the product will ship with the same software outside mainland China.
The tablet’s display comes with support for stylus input and DC dimming. It houses Dolby Atmos-supported quad speakers and arrives with 33W fast charging support.
Last but not least, despite featuring a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 695 chip, the tablet only comes in a WiFi-only variant.
Nothing has been on headlines for its first ever smartphone, the Phone (1), for sometime now. With its launch edging closer, the number of rumors and teasers have also gone up. Now, the company has officially revealed its complete design and it is quite the head turner. So let’s have a look.
Ahead of the July 12 launch event for the Phone (1), the brand hosted an in person event in Switzerland for select media. Here, Nothing showcased the smartphone’s design in all of its glory, highlighting its transparent back panel. Unlike most events where the smartphone is revealed and one would get a chance at holding the new devices, the company locked the upcoming handset inside a transparent box.
Looking at a YouTube video from Rafael Zeier, the Phone (1)’s transparent back panel isn’t the only highlighting aspect of its design. The device also includes some LED lighting on the back as well, which certainly adds to its overall appeal. One strip surrounds the camera, while one is simply slanted and situated on the top right. There is also a vertical strip on the bottom of the rear shell as well.
While LED lighting is not an unseen feature, the Nothing Phone (1) easily has a unique glowing profile through its transparent back panel. It remains to be seen if the company lets users customize the color of these LEDs like some other brands. So stick around for more, as we will be covering any other notable updates regarding this phone.
Huawei is gearing up to launch its second-generation flagship true wireless earbuds in the market, dubbed Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2. While the exact launch date is not yet known, the company is expected to launch it sometime next month.
As per the report, the upcoming Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 will be the first earphones from the brand made in collaboration with France-based audio products manufacturer Devialet.
Devialet is known for elaborately constructed and high-priced speakers and the company will be responsible for tuning the integrated speakers in the Huawei earbuds.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 will come with dual drivers where one driver will be handling the bass and another the mids and highs. The second-generation earbuds are said to deliver a frequency response range of 14Hz to 48,000Hz.
The earbuds will come with support for Hi-Res Audio and a “Triple Adaptive Equalizer” in which the volume, position, and sound are adjusted simultaneously in order to achieve optimal playback, says the company.
They are also expected to come with a more powerful Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) where the noise reduction depth can reach 47dB. As for the battery life, it is said to offer four hours of usage with ANC enabled and up to six hours of usage without ANC. It can last for about 30 hours when charged with the carrying case.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 will be launched in three color options — Blue Silver, Ceramic White, and Frost Silver respectively. In Germany, the official price recommendation will probably be 199 euros, which is about $207.
The European smartphone market has witnessed a huge 12% decline in shipments in the first quarter of 2022, as per a report. This is said to be the the lowest first quarter shipments for nearly a decade. Ongoing component shortages and COVID-19 related lockdowns in China are the main culprits here. Samsung remained as the region’s top OEM, with its highest market share since Q3 2020.
A report by Counterpoint research says that European smartphone shipments reached 49 million units in the first quarter of 2022, marking a 12% percent year-on-year (YoY) decline. This is the lowest first quarter total since Q1 2013.
Several factors such as component shortages, COVID-19 related lockdowns in China, deteriorating economic conditions and the ongoing of the Russo-Ukraine war are responsible for the decline. The report says Europe will witness more such drops in future due to the “Deteriorating macro and geopolitical environment”.
Samsung remained the largest contributor to smartphone shipments in the first quarter of 2022 with shipment share of 35 percent, the report states. Apple took the second spot with a shipment share of 25 percent. The Cupertino company saw a year-on-year decline of 6 percent.
Xiaomi ended up in the third spot in terms of smartphone shipments in Europe. The company recorded a 36 percent annual decline with a 19 percent market share.
Oppo and Realme captured the fourth and fifth spots in the European smartphone shipments market with 6 percent and 4 percent shipment share, respectively. Realme became the only OEM to register annual shipment growth in Q1 2022.
“Existing issues such as COVID-19 and component shortages have been exacerbated by new economic and geopolitical challenges,” said Counterpoint Research’s Associate Director, Jan Stryjak. “Rising inflation levels across the region are impacting consumer spending, while Samsung and Apple, Russia’s first and third ranked smartphone vendors, halted all shipments into Europe’s largest market in early March 2022,” Stryjak added.
Apple recently introduced two new laptop models at the WWDC 2022 — MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, both of which come powered by the latest Apple Silicon M2 processor.
Now, the company is expected to launch other models in the MacBook lineup refreshed with the new processor. Amid this, there are reports which claim that a new 15-inch MacBook could also get launched.
Apple MacBook Air 2022
As per the latest report from Ming-Chi Kuo, the technology giant could launch a new 15-inch MacBook powered by the M2 processor and the unannounced M2 Pro processor. The laptop is expected to go official sometime next year, i.e. in 2023.
The new 15-inch MacBook powered by an M2 chip could come dual-port 35W power adapter while configurations with the M2 Pro processor might come with a more powerful 67W adapter. These power adapters are already options for the new M2-powered MacBook Air launching next month.
Recently, there were reports about a new 12-inch MacBook but Kuo says that he has not heard anything about this. Previously, it was reported that Apple is planning to launch a new 12-inch MacBook at the end of 2023 or in early 2024.
There were also reports about Apple working on a new 15-inch MacBook Air, which might be the same device that is now being referred to as MacBook. It remains to be seen how the company decides to name this new 15-inch MacBook model.

Picking a username can be tricky but choosing the wrong one could be a disaster as most social media services won’t let you change it in the future. Snapchat users might be the ones who’d have suffered the most with this restriction. Users of the popular social media service have been requesting to add the ability to change their username ever since the inception of Snapchat. The instant messaging app has now finally heard its users, and in this guide, we’ll show you how to change your Snapchat username.
According to a recent report, users can change their Snapchat username from February 23rd onwards. This means users can now conveniently switch their usernames instead of creating new accounts. However, there is a catch while doing this, and we’ll discuss it on the run.
No longer switching accounts
Until recently, the only way someone could change their username was to start anew. This changes from February 23rd. You could change your username by following these given steps.
Tap on the Bitmoji icon in the top right corner to go to the profile section.
Go to Settings (gear icon) > Username > Change Username.
You can now update your username.
But remember the catch we mentioned earlier. Even though Snapchat will let you change your username, you will be limited by the following restrictions.
You’ll only be able to change your username once a year.
You can’t use any previously used username.
You can’t use usernames that are already taken. Also, keep in mind that you can’t use a username discarded by other users. This is to prevent the misuse of already taken usernames. The first thing you want is to block someone from becoming you.
This might be the best thing from Snapchat if they manage to do it the right way. Snapchat has already confirmed that changing the username won’t impact the user’s contacts, memories, Snap Score, or Snap code. So we hope they manage to pull it the right way.

At the beginning of this year, Samsung announced the Galaxy S21 FE 5G with Exynos 2100 onboard in India. According to GalaxyClub.nl, the South Korean company is working on a 4G variant of the S21 FE. A support page for the smartphone has gone live on Samsung Netherlands’ website, which indicates that it may not take too long for it to go official.
The SM-G990B model number belongs to the regular Galaxy S21 FE. It has been found that a new variant of the device with the SM-G990B2 model number could be in the works. The support page available on Samsung Netherlands’ site mentions the model number.
In addition, the SM-G990B2 variant has appeared in the database of the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. The listing revealed that the device carries support for Bluetooth 5.2. The publication further revealed that the device has appeared in two Scandinavian online shops. Both listings have mentioned the key specs of the device.

The retailer listing has revealed that the Galaxy S21 FE 4G will be powered by the Snapdragon 720G. The listing also says that it has a 6.4-inch screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, Android 12 OS, a 4,500mAh battery, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage.
For photography, the Galaxy S21 FE 4G may feature a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel triple camera unit. Except for the change in the chipset department, the rest of the specs of the S21 FE 4G seem to be identical to its 5G sibling.
It is unclear why Samsung is planning to launch a 4G version of the S21 FE. It appears that the device will be succeeding the Exynos 990 powered Galaxy S20 FE 4G, which was announced back in October 2020.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) as an affordable flagship phone in September 2020. The Galaxy S21 FE was announced as its successor in January this year. Back in September 2020, the company claimed that it would continue to launch new Fan Edition models in the coming years. However, a new report bySammobilereveals that Samsung could be planning to discontinue the FE series.
The publication has claimed that it has learnt through multiple sources that the South Korean company will not be releasing the Galaxy S22 FE. Based on the model numbers of the previous models, the S22 FE was supposed to carry the SM-S900 model number. The research done by the publication shows that the model number does not exist.
While the Galaxy S21 FE went official this year, it was expected to debut last year since leaked renders and specifications started surfacing by June 2021. At present, there are no leaks to prove the existence of the Galaxy S22 FE. There is a possibility that the South Korean company could be found to include it in its product portfolio.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE
It seems that the Galaxy S21 FE failed to make a notable impact on the market. The reason behind it could be that it was expected to launch in Q3 2021, but its arrival was delayed to January 2021. Within a few weeks, it announced the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. Once the new flagship entered the market, customers may have lost interest in the S21 FE.
In August, the company will be announcing the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 along with the Galaxy Watch 5 series. It remains to be seen whether Samsung has any plans to launch a different affordable flagship in Q4 this year.
It is time for SE variants once again. This year three SE variants have been released in the budget segment: the Redmi Note 11SE, the Realme 9SE, and the Honor 60SE. While the Redmi and the Honor devices are affordable variants from their respective series, the Realme 9 SE stands for Speed Edition, so it is a more powerful variant than the vanilla Realme 9. Through this comparison, we decided to highlight the differences between the specifications of the Redmi Note 11SE, the Realme 9SE, and the Honor 60SE in order to let you understand which one is the best for your needs.

Design
The most beautiful design belongs to the Honor 60SE. With its square-shaped camera module on the rear side, it looks like an iPhone. Further, it is one of the few mid-rangers with a curved screen in the market as it is very hard to find curved displays at the sides in the budget segment. Last but not least, the Honor 60SE is thinner and lighter than its rivals because it comes with a smaller battery. The second place goes to the Realme 9 SE 5G including the Panda Glass protection for the display, but the Redmi Note 11 SE is actually more compact than this device.
Display
If your goal is to get an amazing display, then you should go for the Honor 60 SE without thinking twice. First of all, it is the only one with an OLED display. Further, it is not the classic midrange OLED display, but it is an amazing panel able to show up to one billion colors with the HDR certification and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is not a flagship-class display, but it is not so far from these handsets. The silver medal goes to the Realme 9 Speed Edition 5G providing an IPS display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution, while the Redmi Note 11SE has an IPS display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution.
Hardware/Software
You can get the best performance by choosing the Realme 9 Speed Edition 5G, as the name suggests. It is powered by the great Snapdragon 778G mobile platform built at 6 nm and running at a max frequency of 2.4 GHz. The chip is paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage which you can furtherly expand with a micro SD. The Honor 60 SE comes right after with a Mediatek Dimensity 900 and 8 GB of RAM, and it doubles the internal storage reaching 256 GB. The Redmi Note 11 SE has a weaker Dimensity 700 chipset. All of these phones run Android 11, even though they came to the shelves in 2022.
Camera
These smartphones are equipped with affordable camera departments, but the Honor 60 SE is actually a better camera phone because it comes with a superior main camera. We are talking about a 64 MP main sensor with an f/1.8 focal aperture. The Honor 60 SE is also equipped with an ultrawide camera which is missing from the other two rivals. The Realme 9 Speed Edition and the Redmi Note 11 SE come with similar camera setups including a 48 MP main sensor, so they are nothing special if compared to the Honor. Note that the Redmi Note also comes with an inferior front camera.
Battery
The Redmi Note 11 SE and the Realme 9 SE are the best ones when it comes to battery life, thanks to a 5000 mAh battery. The Realme 9 SE 5G has the potential to last more thanks to its efficient chipset. The Honor 60 SE has the smallest battery but it chargers quicker thanks to 66W fast charging.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE vs Realme 9 Speed Edition 5G vs Honor 60SE: Price
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE vs Realme 9 Speed Edition 5G vs Honor 60SE: PRO and CONS
The starting price of the Redmi Note 11 SE roughly translates into €150/$157, the Realme 9 Speed Edition starts from €282/$295 (India), and the Honor 60 SE carries a starting price tag of about €300/$313. The Honor 60 SE wins this comparison: even though it has a smaller battery, it comes with a better display, better design, and superior cameras. The Redmi Note 11 SE provides the best value for money thanks to its very affordable price, while the Realme 9 SE sits in the middle as it offers a great 144 Hz display but with inferior image quality and the best chipset, but it has inferior cameras.
The Wuling Air EV micro-electric vehicle has been announced in Indonesia. The Wulin Air EV is built by the SAIC-GM-Wuling partnership (SGMW) and it is the third micro-EV offering of the joint venture.
The release of the Wuling Air EV in Indonesia is a milestone of sorts. It is the Chinese company’s first EV to be sold outside China. It is also a first for the SGMW joint venture. It shares some similarities with its predecessor, the Hong Guang Mini EV, but includes some significant design differences. The Wuling Air EV is more upscale and more expensive than the Hong Guang Mini EV. It is based on the Global Small Electric Vehicle platform and comes with some decent features.
The Wuling Air EV is powered by a 40HP front-mounted electric motor that delivers a top speed of 100km/h. Its Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery will deliver a range of about 300km. However, the company has not provided the specific capacity of the micro EV’s battery. The Wuling Air EV comes slightly bigger than its predecessor. It has dimensions of 117 x 59.3 x 64.2 inches. Two wheelbase variants are available for the four-seat and two-seat models respectively. The wheelbase measures either 79.1 inches or 64.4 inches.

LG’s upcoming tablet, codenamed Project Jetta has surfaced online. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset and will pack a 7,000mAh capacity battery.
The LG tablet with model number LGE 10A30Q will have a 10.3-inch display and a RAM/ storage configuration of 4GB/128GB. The device will run on Android 12 and a global launch outside South Korea is unlikely. Recall that LG had exited the smartphone market in 2020. The move came as it tried to consolidate its marketing edge in other areas. This has however not prevented the company from developing other Android-based devices like tablets.
The details about LG’s Project Jetta were posted on a South Korean tech forum. It confirmed the existence of a new LG tablet for educational purposes. There are indications that Project Jetta’s launch may be imminent. It has appeared on Geekbench and gotten the Wi-Fi Alliance’s certification. The device’s chipset (Snapdragon 680) puts it as a mid-range offering. This is coupled with its low RAM and internal storage capacity. The camera setup of the tablet consists of a 5MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera.
LG is yet to release any official details of the LGE 10A30Q. So, its price, release date, and availability still remain unknown at this time. It is also unclear how LG will undertake the production of the new tablet. It has since shut down production in its smartphone factories for more than a year. It is most probable that LG could outsource the production of the new tablet.
Amazfit has released a limited-edition model of the GTR 3 Pro priced at $250. The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro Limited Edition has the same internals as the original GTR 3 Pro but it comes with a flat-screen design. Recall that the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro sports a curved display. The Limited Edition Amazfit GTR 3 Pro is available exclusively from Amazfit’s website. There is also a limited discounted price of $210 for the new GTR 3 Pro.
The news of the release of an externally refreshed Amazfit GTR 3 Pro was not the announcement expected from the company. There have been speculations about the imminent launch of the GTR 4 series, but we have to wait a bit more. The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro Limited Edition has identical specs to the original model. In terms of app support, the new model will be linked to a new set of SKUs. The 3D curved design has been dropped and the hardware buttons look flatter. It is stated that the design changes were spurred by the Bauhaus Movement.
The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro Limited Edition retains the UHD AMOLED screen with performances at par with the original foldable. The Limited Edition Amazfit GTR 3 Pro will expectedly come with similar battery life. The frame of the new variant is also made from stainless steel and the strap is made of leather, unlike the original model. The original GTR 3 Pro had a fluoroelastomer strap. There are no indications yet of how long the introductory offer for the GTR 3 Pro will last.
Samsung is gearing up to launch its next-generation rugged smartphone dubbed the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. The device has leaked in its entirety and also appeared on multiple certification sites hinting at an imminent launch.
However, the company has not forgotten about its current-gen rugged devices as the Samsung Galaxy X Cover 5 has started receiving the One UI 4.1 update. The Galaxy X Cover 5 launched back in March 2011 with an Android 11-based operating system. Now, Samsung has skipped the One UI 4.0 on the device and directly updated it to Android 12-based One UI 4.1.

Sennheiser has just teased an upcoming pair of premium headphones. These will be dubbed the Momentum 4 Wireless, which will be the successor to the Momentum 3. Now, the latest teaser has revealed some interesting information regarding the new high end hearables.
The company’s Momentum 4 Wireless headphones are set to feature an over the ear design and will likely come with Sennheiser’s Signature Sound. This basically implies that we can expect a well optimized and robust audio experience, especially considering its a high end model from the brand. Although, one of the features teased which is undoubtedly the highlight is its battery life. The company is claiming a whopping 60 hours of total audio playback on the upcoming Momentum 4 Wireless.
Unfortunately, the German audio products maker has yet to reveal any other finer details regarding this product. Furthermore, it is also unclear right now if the 60 hour battery claim is with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) turned off or turned on. But regardless, the number is still quite impressive. In comparison, Apple’s top end AirPods Max only offers a third of its endurance, rated for 20 hours of audio playback with ANC and Spatial Audio enabled.
Another notable rival in the premium headphones segment will be Sony’s latest WH-1000MX5, which has a 30 hours battery life with ANC and 40 hours battery life with ANC turned off. Another feature of the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless is the 42mm transducer system. Based on the current model’s pricing, we can expect the latest model to be priced around 400 US Dollars or possibly even higher.
