Several reports have revealed that Motorola’s next clamshell device, having the “Maven” codename, will be equipped with a flagship chipset. Since the final marketing name of the device is not known, it is being tentatively called the Motorola Razr 3 by the rumor mill. Earlier this month, 91mobiles released two leaked shots of the Razr 3. Now, reputed tipster Evan Blass shared an 8-second video clip of the Razr 3 to give a good look at its front and rear design.

The “Maven” device can be seen with the inner foldable screen turned on. Since the phone is working, it appears to be a late prototype or a retail version of the phone. This indicates that the launch of the Razr 3 may not be far away.
The previous Razr models had a notch for the front-facing camera, but the upcoming model has a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. Moving to the back, it has a horizontally arranged dual-camera system. It also houses a bigger secondary display and a side-facing fingerprint sensor. The video reveals that the device is running on a MyUX flavored Android 12 OS. However, it has no new information on the specs of the device.

The Motorola Razr 3 will come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz inner foldable screen and a 3-inch cover display. It will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a 48-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultrawide) dual-camera setup.

Chinese smartwatch maker Mobvoi has launched a new affordable smartwatch that features support for 4G calls. The TicWatch GTW eSIM carries a decent price tag of 999 yuan ($150) in the brand’s home market. It is presently up for pre-orders via Jingdong (JD.com).
The TicWatch GTW eSIM as you can guess supports an autonomous eSIM calling function. Thus, users don’t need to go out with their smartphones and can make calls while running outdoors in the morning, walking downstairs with the dog, or picking up couriers.
In terms of design, the GTW eSIM features a 1.39-inch retina-level AMOLED covered by a wear-resistant and scratch-resistant glass. The watch weighs 38.5g and uses a 22mm textured silicone strap which is comfortable to touch, is breathable and dries off easily.
Just all Mobvoi smartwatches, the TicWatch GTW eSIM comes with support for over 100 sports modes including rock climbing, sailing, cycling, and many others. Nothing Phone (1) launch date seems to be fast approaching. According to the German publicationAll Round PC, Nothing’s first smartphone will be announced in July. The report not only mentions its launch date but also hints at its pricing.
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei left the company in September 2020 to launch the Nothing brand. Last year, the company launched the Ear (1) TWS earbuds as its first product. In March this year, the company confirmed that it is working on its first smartphone called the Nothing Phone (1). At that time, Pei had revealed that the smartphone would be announced in summer 2022, which indicated that it may debut between June and September.
According to the German publication, it has learnt through a European dealer, the Nothing Phone (1) will launch on July 21 this year. However, the publication is unclear whether the company will be holding a launch event or carrying out its first sale on the said date.
Unfortunately, there is no information yet on the specifications of the Nothing Phone (1). However, the publication claims that the brand is targeting a price range of around 500 euros. Vivo T2 5G is going to launch on June 6 in China. The handset was previously scheduled to debut on May 23 in the country. However, due to force majeure, the company postponed its launch to the next month. The company has already confirmed its key specifications, and now some more details have emerged through its China Telecom product listing. The Vivo T2 5G is confirmed to arrive with an E4 AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature an OIS-assisted 64-megapixel main camera. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset and will carry support for 80W fast charging.
The China Telecom listing of the device has revealed that it will be equipped with a 6.62-inch display that produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It will feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. It boots to the Android 12 OS and will pack a 4,700mAh battery. Its dimensions are 163 x 76.16 x 8.54mm and it weighs around 190 grams.

The Snapdragon 870 powered device will be arriving in China in three options: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These variants are listed for 2,199 Yuan (~$330), 2,499 Yun (~$375), and 2,699 Yuan (~$405), respectively. The handset will be available in black and blue colors. Readers are advised to digest the pricing of the device with a pinch of salt as it is yet to go official.
The Vivo T2 5G has a V2199GA model number, whereas the iQOO Neo 6 SE that debuted earlier this month in China has a V2199A model number. Both are packed with identical specs. Hence, the Vivo T2 will be arriving as a rebranded version of the Neo 6 SE.
Xiaomi has unveiled its first-ever all-in-one laser printer, the K200. The Xiaomi K200 laser printer comes with several impressive features including a built-in NFC chip that supports one-touch operations. The laser printer K200 supports one-touch inking and one-touch printing, as well as three-in-one operations.
The Xiaomi K200 offers printing, photocopying, and scanning functionalities. It is available for pre-order with a 50 yuan (~$8) reservation deposit but the full cost is 1,499 yuan (~$225). The K200 supports USB connections and can also be accessed via the Mijia app or Mi Printing app.
The Xiaomi K200 is also compatible with wireless connections of multiple platforms via Android, iOS, Windows, or Mac devices. The Air Tap touch transfer is at the heart of the one-touch connection and printing available in the all-in-one laser printer.
The Xiaomi laser printer K200 supports drag-and-drop printing of Xiaomi Print Web Edition. This does not require the installation of the device driver. You just need to drag and drop the document to the identification bar of the Print Web Edition. A high-quality toner is deployed in the Xiaomi laser printer K200. This in turn yields great prints and copies anytime. A toner separation structure is also present, which allows separate replacement of the toner cartridge with a single pull.

Logitech has released the MX Master 3S mouse and the MX Mechanical keyboard. Both models offer improvements from their predecessors. They present a pretty silent performance and greater tactile impact customizable to individual choices.
Logitech MX Master 3S mouse is a slight improvement from the MX Master 3. It offers a quieter mouse click and a more sensitive sensor for tactile commands. It bears a striking semblance to its predecessor. It sports a right-handed design, two scroll wheels, and three thumb buttons. Unlike the MX Master 3, the new Logitech mouse uses an 8,000 DPI sensor and a quieter click from the buttons.
The tactile bump from pressing the mouse is more muted in the MX Master 3S than in its predecessor. It offers a polling rate of 125Hz which makes it a device unsuited for gaming applications. The MX Master 3S is replacing the MX Master 3, as production of the older model will subsequently be discontinued.

The mechanical keys are the main reasons for the slightly noisier MX Mechanical keyboards. Kailh’s Choc V2 switches were deployed in the MX Mechanical keyboards. The switches are low-profile, offering a similar experience as that of a laptop’s keyboard. However, they offer greater reliability and a more tactile feel than a laptop’s keyboard.
The two keyboards are wireless and offer up to 15 days of battery life when backlighting is functional. The battery life can be extended to 10 months without the use of backlighting. The MX Master 3S mouse and the MX Mechanical keyboards are capable of having a memory of three devices that it has paired with. This allows for quick connectivity via Bluetooth or USB. You can also switch between the three devices at a press of a button.

According to the Geekbench listing, the smartphone has an ARMv8-based octa-core chipset. Four of the cores are clocked at 2.75GHz and the remaining four have a clock speed of 2.00GHz. The listing also reveals that the chipset brings along the Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, making it highly likely that this chipset is the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 SoC.
Other than that, the listing reveals that the device has 12GB of RAM and runs on the Android 12-based operating system, likely the Magic UI 6.0. The smartphone scored 819 points on the single-core test and 3303 points on the multi-core test of Geekbench 5.
Other than that, the design of the upcoming smartphone has already leaked via renders showing a triple camera setup on two large circular-shaped camera islands. It is rumored to house a 54-megapixel (Sony IMX800) primary sensor clubbed together with a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera.

Moto G62 5G launch could be just around the corner as the smartphone has appeared on UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority website (TDRA). Recently the smartphone has also been spotted on Multiple certification platforms including NBTC and FCC. First of all, it has a better main camera with a brighter f/1.6 aperture and laser autofocus. It also comes with a periscope sensor supporting OIS and 5x optical zoom, while the Xiaomi 12 Pro lacks a periscope camera. The Xiaomi flagship has a better 50 MP ultrawide camera and even a better telephoto camera, but it stops at 2x optical zoom. So there is no doubt about which one is the best camera phone here.
The batteries of these two phones are not above-average but they are able to provide a more than sufficient battery life. Given the marginal difference between their capacities and their similar components, these two batteries should provide a similar battery life. But the Xiaomi 12 Pro is able to charge quicker thanks to 120W fast charging.

The starting price of the Xiaomi 12 Pro in China roughly translates into €870, while you need at least $909 or €847 for the Vivo X80 Pro. So which phone is the best one? Well, the Vivo X80 Pro looks a bit more interesting because it has a superior camera department: thanks to the periscope camera, you get better zoom capabilities, and the main camera should provide better quality and stabilization. The Xiaomi 12 Pro supports a faster charging technology and more advanced software, so it has its pros, but the camera has a higher value if compared to the rest. Which one would you pick?
The market has still not completely transitioned from Wi-Fi 5 to Wi-Fi 6 and MediaTek is already gearing up to introduce Wi-Fi 7 solutions. The company yesterday announced two new SoCs for IoT devices, dubbed Filogic 880 and Filogic 380. This new pair of chips will be among the first to carry support for Wi-Fi 7.
Filogic 880 is a 6nm SoC that combines a Wi-Fi 7 access point with an advanced host processor solution to provide a better router and gateway solution. It has a scalable architecture that supports up to penta-band 4×4 with a maximum speed of 36Gbps. Moreover, it offers a speed of up to 10Gbps in one channel. It also carries support for OFDMA RU, MU-MIMO, and MBSSID
In addition to Wi-Fi 7, the Filogic 880 chip offers a powerful host CPU with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A73 application processor and a sophisticated NPU.
Talking about the Filogic 380, it is also a 6nm chip designed to add Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity to electronics such as smartphones, tablets, televisions, notebook computers, set-top boxes, and OTT streaming sticks. Its dual concurrent 2 x 2 capability is pre-optimized for these devices since MediaTek also provides equivalent platform solutions.
The chip comes equipped with MLO to offer up to 6.5Gbps speeds. It can provide up to 5Gbps bandwidth in one channel. The chip carries support for 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. In addition, it comes with the latest Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio.
Commenting on the announcement of the new chips, Alan Hsu, corporate vice president and general manager of the Intelligent Connectivity business at MediaTek said “Our wireless connectivity solutions are designed to deliver the fastest performance using the most advanced technologies, and represent MediaTek’s commitment to drive Wi-Fi 7 adoption in a large number of new markets With Filogic 880 and Filogic 380, our customers can deliver fast, reliable and always-on connected experiences to meet the industry’s growing connectivity demands.”
MediaTek will demonstrate the new chips at Computex 2022, which will be held from May 24 to May 27 in Taipei, Taiwan.
OnePlus is a good brand and it offers top-notch flagship smartphones. Now that we’ve stated the obvious, it is perhaps useful to also mention that the company is not very good with software updates. OnePlus only provides bi-monthly updates and the updates are not even for the current month. While brands like Samsung have already started releasing the June security patch, the BBK-owned company has now rolled out the May security patch for the OnePlus 10 Pro.
OnePlus has started releasing OxygenOS A.14 to the OnePlus 10 Pro. The new build fixes several bugs and existing issues such as the music playback issue with the Bluetooth car kit and disturbance issue in audio recordings. The latest firmware also addresses the overexposed HDR photos and phone call quality issue.

The OTA update is initially being rolled to only the OnePlus 10 Pro units in India with the version number NE2211_11.A.14. The company had seeded the A.14 build of the update but then it pulled it back for reasons unknown to us. However, the OEM has now released a newer A.14 build.
The latest update is being released in phases, and it will only show up to only a handful of 10 Pro users initially. A wider rollout should start in the coming days, with the update eventually also making its way to the European and North American variants.

OPPO Enco R specs & features
The OPPO Enco R has a similar design to that of the first generation Apple AirPods and comes with contoured tips designed to comfortably fit in your ears. The stems come with left and right markings to make it easier to figure out which pod goes into which ear. The Enco R earbuds are also super light weighing just 3.5grams (individual earbuds).
The earbuds feature large 13.4mm dynamic drivers for a crisp, balanced sound profile. The buds use Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity and offer support for AAC audio codec. For gaming, the earbuds offer a 94ms low latency mode and offer touch control to control media, answer calls & access the voice assistant. The device also has a special feature that allows it to access the camera of its paired smartphone to take a video or capture an image. To access this mode, users have to pull out one of the earbuds and double-tap its back.
The earbuds come with IPX4 sweat and splash resistance. The Enco R lacks ANC, however, includes an AI-based noise reduction feature for calls.
Coming to the battery performance, each earbud houses a 27mAh battery which is rated to provide up to four hours of playback time on a single charge. With the charging case which houses a 300mAh battery, the earbuds can provide up to 20 hours of playback. Lastly, the charging case has a USB Type-C port making charging pretty convenient.

The OPPO Enco R comes in an Ice White color and is priced at 299 yuan ($45) and is available for pre-order in China. The earbuds will be available for purchase starting May 31.
Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen Edition has been launched in China. The laptops have launched alongside the Redmi Note 11T series, Redmi Buds 4 and 4 Pro, and Xiaomi Mi Band 7. As the name suggests, the RedmiBook Pro 2022 is equipped with the latest 6th generation AMD Ryzen processors.
The RedmiBook Pro 2022 is offered in two screen sizes and packs the same specifications as the 12th generation Intel Core options apart from a different processor.

Xiaomi has launched the Band 7 in two variants dubbed the Band 7 and the Band 7 NFC. The smart wearable comes with a 1.62-inch AMOLED display with a 192 x 490-pixel resolution, 326 PPI pixel density, and 500nits of peak brightness. The device has an Always-On display feature and also features dynamic Mars wallpaper like the one available on MIUI 13. Design-wise, the smart band is similar to the Mi band 6 and weighs just 13.5 grams.
The Band 7 comes with the Xiao AI assistant and features 120 sports modes including four professional sports modes with activity tracking, data analysis, and more for all-around guidance.
Coming to health-related features, the smart band offers all-day blood oxygen monitoring and alerts the wearer if the blood-oxygen levels go below 90%. Other than that, the device comes with a heart rate tracker, and sleep tracker capable of providing data like sleep breathing quality, REM, and nap time quality. It also offers stress monitoring, Female health tracking, and PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence).
The Band 7 comes with a large 180mAh battery capable of up to 15 hours of use on a single charge. The smart band is claimed to last around 9 days with heavy usage. It uses a magnetic charger like its predecessors.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi Band 7 NFC variant has a price tag of 299 Yuan ($45) while the non-NFC Band 7 is priced at 249 Yuan ($37). The smart band is up for pre-order in China and will go on its first sale on May 31.
