Popular Drone manufacturer Hubsan technology is expected to launch a new drone in the Chinese market. Today, the company has officially teased its Hubsan ACE SE drone revealing its key features. The major highlight of the drone is the super-sensitive camera, dual optical avoidance sensor, and foldable design.
The Hubsan ACE SE is priced at CNY 7,999(~$1,251) and it will come in a White colour variant. The drone will be soon launched across China, however, the exact launch date is unknown.
As per the teaser images, the Hubsan ACE SE has a matte White body that comes with foldable arms. It holds four fans which can be retracted inside to fold it back from the drone position. One of the major highlights of the drone is the obstacle avoidance sensor. It has two optical sensors at the front that look for obstacles in the way in order to steer clear of any hurdles.
It is touted to have a super-sensitive camera that has a single pixel size of 4.6 microns. It is teased to have excellent night video shooting capabilities. Furthermore, it also has display power just above the battery. It comes with four lights at the bottom portion of the drone.
Apart from this, Hubsan technology is yet to reveal the exact launch date and specs. But considering that the device is being teased aggressively, we can expect an imminent launch.
In related news, Hubsan has previously launched the Hubsan Zino Mini series of drones. It includes Zino Drone Mini SE AND Zino Mini Pro. It is a cheaper device coming at a price tag of CNY 2199(~$344). The drone comes with 4K HD shooting capability, up to 45 minutes of battery, and an eMMC internal storage. Just like the Hubsan ACE SE Drone, the Zino series also comes with an obstacle avoidance sensor. It has a three-axis gimble, a loss-of-control protection feature, and a 1/1.3-inch of CMOS sensor.
Intel i7-12700H was spotted in the upcoming HP Omen 17 laptop accompanied by the rumored Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti confirming its existence.
HP is gearing up to launch what looks to be a new flagship in their Omen line of laptops targeted towards the high-end gaming and enthusiast segment. According to a benchmark discovered on Geekbench, The upcoming laptop is armed with the next-gen Intel Alder lake-P (Laptop) CPU, The i7-12700H and, an Nvidia RTX 3080ti.

3D renders of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G which is expected to launch next year have been leaked by the popular tipster @OnLeaks. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G which is slated for release next year is going to be slightly slimmer than its predecessor with a similar design to Galaxy A52.
Firstly, let’s talk about the entire look of the Galaxy A53. When compared to Galaxy A52, Samsung Galaxy A53 has a similar design except for the back panel which is flat and does not curve around the edges. The edges are also slightly rounded, and not sharp.
The camera on Galaxy A53 which is a quad-camera array on the back and a punch-hole notch cutout on the front is designed to give a seamless look with smooth curves as compared to its previous model which had a bumped camera design. Additionally, this model unlike its predecessor, will no longer have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It is also expected that Samsung Galaxy A53 is going to be equipped with a 64MP primary camera and will have the same 120 Hz refresh rate as seen in its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy A53 will measure 8.14 mm in thickness and 9.73 mm including the rear camera bump, making it slightly thinner than Samsung Galaxy A52. Information is scarce on the other features of the phone, but we can expect more leaks as we get closer to the release.
The availability of the iPhone 13 will improve during the coming holiday season, contradicting the predictions of analysts and customers based on the global chip shortage and cuts in production due to the pandemic.
iPhone production like many other products has been suffering from the global chip shortage due to supply chain disruption in silicon availability globally. Estimated Shipping timing for iPhone 13 was spanning weeks and has cost the company $6 billion.
However, the demand and supply gap for iPhone 13 has narrowed in the previous months, as apple suppliers managed to ease the shortage of certain components. And as the holiday season begins, Digitimes reports that a production boom will be able to address the previous issues of availability and demand.
Additionally, Apple has upgraded all its products from Airpods to the Mac, which will prove appealing to the customers, specifically Airpods which are a popular holiday gift. Apple also released its third generation of Airpods with significant new features such as adaptive EQ, Spatial Audio with head tracking, and improved durability.
With the coming holiday season, the company has extended its return policy for products bought between November 1 and December 25 to 8 January 2022. This new policy applies to iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, AirPods, HomePod mini, and more.
Last week, we compared the Redmi Note 11 to the older Redmi Note 10 in order to let you understand what’s changed between the two generations of budget phones. But the vanilla Note 10 does not support 5G connectivity and there is another variant of the same series that supports 5G. We think it is important to compare the Redmi Note 11 and the Redmi Note 10 5G as well in order to give you a complete panorama about the two handsets in case you are deciding which phone to buy in the next future. If you need to know the key differences between the Pro variants, head to our comparison between Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro.
Triple 48 + 2 + 2 MP, f/1.8 + f/2.4 + f/2.4
8 MP f/2.0 front camera
BATTERY
5000 mAh, fast charging 33W
5000 mAh, fast charging 18W
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Dual SIM slot, 5G, IP53 certification
Dual SIM slot, 5G
Design
Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 10 5G are very similar when it comes to aesthetics, but they differ in a few details. They are both made of polycarbonate, but the Redmi Note 10 5G is slightly more compact because it packs a smaller display. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11 has the IP53 certification thanks to which it is dust resistant and splash resistant. The main difference in the design is the rear camera module with the same silver accent around the main cameras but positioned in a different way. The Redmi Note 11 has more beautiful color variants, in my honest opinion. The thickness and the weight of these phones are more or less the same.
Display
The diagonal of the displays are changed, but the specifications remain the same. The Redmi Note 11 has a 6.6-inch panel, while the Redmi Note 10 5G has 6.5 inches. They are both IPS displays with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400p and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint reader is mounted at the side, on the power key. Note that Redmi Note 11 has stereo speakers, while the Redmi Note 10 5G has a mono speaker: that means the former provides better audio quality. Both are equipped with a 3.5 mm audio jack to connect wired earphones and speakers.
Hardware/Software
The Redmi Note 11 features an important improvement in terms of hardware: it has the new Mediatek Dimensity 810 mobile platform running at 2.4 GHz composed of 2 Cortex-A76 CPUs, 6 Cortex-A55 running at 2 GHz, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The Redmi Note 10 5G has a weaker Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset running at 2.2 GHz, but it offers a wider variety of memory configurations. Both the handsets are equipped with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 native storage, and both are based on Android 11, but the Redmi Note 11 runs MIUI 12.5 instead of MIUI 12 out of the box.
Camera
The Redmi Note 11 destroys the Redmi Note 10 5G when it comes to the cameras and this is the most important advantage of this new device. On the rear side, it sports a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, while the Redmi Note 10 5G has an inferior 48 MP main camera and a pair of useless 2 MP sensors for macros and depth (it lacks an ultrawide camera). Further, the Redmi Note 11 has a better 16 MP front camera, while the selfie camera of the Redmi Note 10 5G is a bad 8 MP sensor.
Battery
Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 10 5G are equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, but despite the battery capacities being the same, the Redmi Note 11 provides a longer battery life because its processor is more efficient (the Dimensity 810 is built at 6 nm). Further, it supports a faster charging technology with a power of 33W instead of just 18W.
You can find the Redmi Note 10 5G for less than €150/$174 in China, while Redmi Note 11 starts from €160/$185. The Redmi Note 11 wins this comparison thanks to a better camera, better chipset, and faster charging, and despite costing more, it even offers a higher value for money.
Xiaomi has launched a new smart door lock which is already listed for pre-order on Jingdong (JD.com) with a decent 1299 yuan (~$203) price tag. The Xiaomi Smart Door Lock 1S, as it is called, is an upgraded version of the first-gen Xiaomi Smart Door Lock which is a well-received product.
Unlike the first-gen Xiaomi Smart Door Lock, the new Xiaomi Smart Door Lock 1S comes with support for both the MIJIA app and Apple Home Kit. The device also comes with 3D semiconductor fingerprint identification which allows the use of biometrics to open the door more accurately. The device also comes with a financial-grade Swedish PB fingerprint detection algorithm that effectively rejects fake fingerprints and gives users greater security.
There is also support for NFC unlock with the NFC sensing area, and keypad area integrated into one. With NFC, devices such as Mi Band 6 NFC version, Xiaomi Mi 11 series, Redmi K40 series, Xiaomi watches and other NFC devices can be used to easily unlock the device.
In terms of the mechanical build, the Mi Smart Door Lock 1S has the main control chip placed in the rear panel which prevents anti-riot demolition and electromagnetic interference.

JD.com, a Chinese e-commerce platform, inaugurated its Double Eleven Shopping Festival Friday night at 8:00 p.m. iPhone sales surpassed 100 million Yuan in under three seconds, and smartphone brands Xiaomi, OPPO, Realme, Huawei, Honor, iQOO, and vivo’s turnover rose by more than 300 percent YoY. Xiaomi came out on top in terms of sales.
The total turnover of JD.com OBMs climbed by 266 percent year-on-year. In just 20 minutes, live commerce sales on the platform surpassed the figures from the entire day of November 1, 2020 (via: Pandaily).
Consumer focus was still largely on 3C products (computer, communication, and consumer electronics) on JD.com during the sale. But the top 5 categories were smartphones, flat-panel TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and gaming laptops. As such, the top three most popular brands are Apple, Huawei, and Xiaomi.
Laptops saw some great sales too with the turnover of high-end laptops increasing by 340% year-on-year. The ROG series and ThinkPad X1 series performed especially well here with 400% year-on-year turnover increase. 4K projectors, meanwhile, saw an increase of 240% year-on-year.
The main reason behind the astonishing sales figures is JD.com’s strong supply chain infrastructure and technical strength. JD Logistics operated over 1,200 warehouses in China this year. Among these, 38 are large intelligent warehouses that operate quickly and efficiently, guaranteeing speedy and stable services.
Previously, a report released by global consulting firm AlixPartners showed that half of the consumers surveyed aimed to spend over 3,000 Yuan (~$469) on Double Eleven shopping in 2021. More than half of the brands in the Chinese market expected turnover to exceed 10 million Yuan (~$1.5 million), with 13.16% expecting turnover to exceed 100 million Yuan (~$15 million).
OnePlus just announced that the OnePlus 9RT supports 120 FPS gameplay on the Honor of Kings game, which goes by the name of Arena of Valor globally.
Honor of Kings is a Chinese MOBA game developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Tencent Games for iOS and Android. It has an international adaptation as well called Arena of Valor that features some tweaks to better suit the global market, but is largely the same as its Chinese counterpart.
Anyway, the 120 FPS support on Honor of Kings was brought along with September’s S25 Season. The high frames per second translate to better utilization of high-end chips and high refresh rate panels found on more premium phones. The FPS setting was enabled across a few phones from iQOO, vivo, Xiaomi, ROG, Black Shark, and others, and it’s great to see OnePlus now getting the same as well.
OnePlus hasn’t yet announced if the 120 FPS in Honor of Kings on the OnePlus 9RT means that the global Arena of Valor will be getting it as well. However, considering the games are very much alike, the global Arena of Valor will be receiving support for it too.
The OnePlus 9RT is equipped with the Snapdragon 888 processor, a 6.62-inch 120Hz E4 OLED panel from Samsung, and comes with 600Hz touch sensitivity. It should thus have no problem handling Honor of Kings at 120FPS.
If you are looking to purchase the OnePlus 9RT, then you will be interested in our full review of the phone given at the bottom of this article.

OnePlus is known for the most memorable special edition phones around and the latest involves the OnePlus Nord 2. The brand is partnering with Bandai Namco to launch the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition. It will feature its very own story depicting PAC-MAN’s journey into the OnePlus universe.
Oliver Zhang says that the special edition phone will deliver in two key areas (via Android Authority). Firstly, it will offer the “signature Fast and Smooth experience” that the company is known for. And secondly, it will be “refreshing, exciting, and memorable.”
Now, limited edition OnePlus phones have always had unique, standout designs. But the PAC-MAN variant will be the first to feature a “gamified” UI, proving that OnePlus has clearly put in a lot of effort in designing the device.
The gamified UI will feature OxygenOS icons based on retro video games, unique wallpapers and animations, a unique camera filter, and even a pre-installed PAC-MAN 256 game, among other things. Completing the game will unlock an array of exclusive PAC-MAN content.
Along with customized software, the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition comes with several hardware design changes as well to stand out from the vanilla variant. There’s a “dual film color, material, and finish (CMF)” that integrates PAC-MAN elements into the body. The back of the phone also sports bits that glow in the dark.
Last but not least, you’ll also find hidden Easter eggs and hidden challenges throughout the interface. These are said to have been developed through a collaborative effort between OnePlus software teams in various countries.
Other than this, the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition will be the same as the vanilla version with regard to specifications. There’s the 90Hz panel, the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip, and a 50MP primary camera, all that will be fed juice through a 4500mAh with support for 65W charging.
Standard OnePlus Nord 2
The phone will be slightly pricier when compared to the vanilla model. The only variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will cost ₹37,999 ($512) in India, £499 in the UK ($673), and €529 ($612) in Europe.
WhatsApp is finally bringing a highly requested feature to its messaging service. The company had promised earlier this year that it would remove the online connection requirement on your smartphone for the chatting platform to be used on multiple devices. Now, this feature is finally here.
Previously, users had to have a stable internet connection on their smartphones to be able to use the messaging service on any other device like a desktop PC, or a laptop. In other words, it had to be linked to your smartphone to have the conversations synced. But now, after several months of beta testing, the social media giant is finally letting users disable this requirement altogether on any linked device. So, you can now run WhatsApp without your phone being connected as well (Via PhoneArena).
Although, the company has limited the number of total devices that can be connected to WhatsApp at the same time to four at the moment. So, look out for the update as it should offer you a new feature under the “Linked devices” tab. After enabling this, WhatsApp will remove all previously connected devices and you will have to manually add them again. But now, these devices can run chats independently from your handset.
Notably, the feature is currently not working on tablets and there are also certain limitations on iPhones like not being able to delete a conversation on a connected device. For the sake of security, the company has added an auto disconnection feature on these connected devices, if WhatsApp is not run on your primary smartphone in 14 days.

Earlier this month, we had reported on Meizu bringing back its mblu series of smartphones. Now, the company has officially confirmed that the mblu lineup will be returning soon and revealed the price segment the upcoming device will target.
According to an official Weibo post (a Chinese microblogging website), the company stated that most of media and consumers await flagship launches but more than 30 percent of all actual buyers purchase smartphones around 1,500 Yuan (roughly 235 US Dollars) and below. The social media post also added that the mblu smartphones are about to return. In other words, the Chinese smartphone maker has basically confirmed that it is gearing up for the launch of a new mblu device that will be positioned in the 1,500 Yuan mid range segment.
Notably, this post also arrives after the company’s first new mblu smartphone in three years called mblu 10 made its appearance on the web. Unfortunately, finer details regarding this smartphone is currently unknown. So we don’t know which processor or specs it would feature. Although, we can expect official teaser posters from the brand or other leaks to reveal some information regarding the smartphone prior to its launch, which is also unknown as of right now. So stay tuned for more updates.
The official Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website) account of AVATR was officially created earlier today (8th November 2021). On the social media platform, the company announced that it will be launching the new smart car on November 15. For those unaware, the AVATR brand is a joint venture between three leading brands that bring together their different expertise. Huawei will offer smart connectivity through its Huawei Inside in-vehicle smart car solutions while CATL is a global leader for lithium ion battery development and manufacturing.
Lastly, Changan Automobile is a major carmaker in China, and the three brands together plan to release high end smart cars that are electric. Notably, the joint venture is also expected to further boost China’s electric vehicle market. Looking at the Weibo post, the newly established brand has announced the online launch event for November 15, with the AVATR E11 being the first car model from the company.
The E11 is a new medium sized SUV smart car, as per official notes. It boasts CATL’s battery technology along with HI support from the Chinese smartphone giant. Reportedly, this vehicle has an overall length of 4.8 meters and is full electric vehicle. Unfortunately, finer details regarding this car is currently unknown, so stay tuned for more updates as we will be covering its launch.
OPPO last year made a slight tweak to the way the ColorOS version numbers go – they are now in sync with the Android version. As such, the latest iteration of the software skin is called ColorOS 12 since it’s layered atop Android 12. The update brings along a slew of UI changes and some new features. It was undergoing testing for the past few months but will soon start going stable according to the fresh November 2021 Roll-out Plan.
The ColorOS 12 November rollout plan reveals that the OPPO Find X3 Pro will be the very first to bag the update in the stable branch. The release will commence mid-November in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand and will be done on a batch-by-batch basis.
Next in line will be the OPPO Find X2 Pro that will start receiving ColorOS 12 from November 17 onwards in India and Indonesia. The phone is joined by the Find X2 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition in India and the Find X2 in India and Indonesia. But unlike the Find X3 Pro, these models will get beta and not stable as of yet.
The Reno6 series will be the next to bag ColorOS 12 beta. The Reno6 Pro 5G and Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition will be getting the update from November 22 onwards. As for the Indonesian and Saudi Arabian versions of the Reno6 Pro 5G, they will be treated to the same from November 25 onwards.
Last in line is the vanilla OPPO Reno6 5G that will be receiving ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 in India from November 26.
Do note that the above rollout plan is not applicable to carrier-locked models since the updates for such are determined by the carriers themselves.

[Original Story] POCO may have announced its independence from Xiaomi but continues to largely be nothing more than a sub-brand. As such, its offerings are typically rebranded Xiaomi/Redmi phones running the same software, albeit with some minor tweaks. The upcoming POCO M4 Pro 5G is another of such phones, and we have listed all there’s to know about it ahead of its November 9 launch.
Design & Display
The POCO M4 Pro 5G quite obviously uses the same body as the freshly-launched Redmi Note 11. There are a couple of minor changes to show that it’s a unique model though. Its camera module has been seemingly extended to cover the entire width of the phone for a more stylized appearance. The extension features a large POCO branding. Enthusiasts will easily note that the back resembles last year’s POCO M3.
The M4 Pro 5G’s top edge has a microphone, an IR blaster, and a speaker. Its bottom edge has another mic, a USB-C port, and a second speaker unit. As far as the front side is concerned, its display has a centrally placed punch-hole atop and is supported by a slightly thick chin at the bottom.
POCO M4 Pro 5G’s leaked render
The phone has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel that delivers an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Cameras on the POCO M4 Pro 5G
The rear camera module on the POCO M4 Pro 5G looks like it houses more cameras than it actually does. There is a separate opening just for the AI logo alone that may look like another camera from a distance. In reality, the phone has a dual-camera setup – a 50MP primary shooter and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. The camera on the front has a 16-megapixel resolution.
Other Specifications
The POCO M4 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset – a recent launch built using the 6nm process. The phone packs a large 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The storage will likely be UFS 2.2.
Apart from this, the device will likely be coming with the same feature list as the Redmi Note 11.
Software
MIUI 13 is yet to make its debut and Android 12 is still undergoing testing for eligible Xiaomi and Poco phones. Thus, it is most likely that the POCO M4 Pro will be coming with Android 11-based MIUI 12.5.
Variants, Price, & Release Date
The FCC listing for the POCO M4 Pro had revealed that it will be coming in three RAM and storage options, namely 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB. The color variants will include grey and yellow options.
There is no word on the pricing but it will likely cost similar to the Redmi Note 11 (~$187). A release date of November 9 has been announced officially.
Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy Tab S8 series of flagship tablets. Previous leaks have revealed that the lineup includes three models such as Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra. These models are said to be powered by Qualcomm’s forthcoming flagship chip called the Snapdragon 898. Today, an upcoming Samsung tablet with SM-X808U powered the SD898 chip appeared in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking site. It can be said based on recent reports that it could be the Galaxy Tab S8+ tablet.
The SM-X808U belongs to the 5G version of the Galaxy Tab S8+ heading to the US. The Qualcomm chip that powers the device has a prime core clocking at 3.00GHz, three cores working at 2.50GHz, and the remaining four cores ticking at 1.79GHz.
The chipset is assisted by 8 GB of RAM and the latest Android 12. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the handset scored 1,211 and 3,193 points, respectively. The appearance of the tablet at Geekbench suggests that the company could be internally testing the performance before its official announcement. At present, there is no clarity on the launch date of the Tab S8 series.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ is likely to come with a 12.4-inch OLED screen. Depending on the market, it could be available with Snapdragon 898 chip or Exynos 2200 SoC. The device may come in come in 128 GB and 256 GB storage choices.
The Tab S8+ may house a 10,090mAh battery, which may carry support for 45W fast charging. The tablet is likely to arrive in multiple options such as 5G, LTE, and Wi-Fi only. The Tab S8 lineup may debut by early 2022.
In related news, Samsung may launch the Galaxy Tab 8 SE by the end of 2022. It may come with a non-flagship Snapdragon or Exynos chip. At present, there is no concrete information on its specifications.
