The OnePlus 15R could be bringing a series of upgrades over its predecessors, which could make it one of the best phones in its segment. OnePlus 15R/Ace 6 Leak: Flagship Specs on a Budget?

The news arrives from tipster Gadgetsdata. This tweet claims that the OnePlus 15R, which could debut in China as the Ace 6, will feature notable hardware upgrades. On the front, it may sport a flat OLED display panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. In other words, the Chinese brand could market it as a gaming smartphone. This is further backed by the process under the hood, rumored to be a Snapdragon 8 Elite. The chip is Qualcomm’s current flagship processor that powers top end Android flagships like the OnePlus 13.

The OnePlus 13R debuted with an impressive 6,000mAh battery pack, but its successor could pack an even larger 7,000mAh cell. We can also expect fast charging support like 80W or higher. For optics, the rear will have a main camera with an ultra wide angle lens and a telephoto shooter similar to its predecessor. Although the camera sensors might get some upgrades as well. Another notable improvement is the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which is faster and more accurate than the optical sensor on the 13R.

The tipster claims that the design will retain the metal frame; however, it will get better protection against the elements with an IP68 + IP69 rating. In comparison, the OnePlus 13R only has an IP65 rating. Considering these upgrades, OnePlus will likely hike the price on the new OnePlus 15R, which might be a rebranded OnePlus Ace 6.

The wireless charging game is finally getting a meaningful upgrade. While the wired fast charging speeds have seen great improvements, the wireless counterpart only saw practical speeds on Chinese smartphones. But the standard for wireless charging as a whole is seeing an upgrade with the Qi2 update. Next-gen smartphones will soon be able to charge up at 25W. So here’s everything you need to know.

Note: Chinese smartphones are typically Qi certified, so they do support the charging standard. But these offer faster charging speeds from their respective accessories (wireless chargers/pads). At the moment, Qi2 isn’t as widely supported on the Android market.

1. What Is Qi2 Wireless Charging?

Qi2 is the next evolution of the Qi wireless charging standard, developed by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). Officially introduced in 2023 and rolling out more widely in 2024–2025. Qi2 improves on the original Qi spec by offering faster charging (up to 25W) and magnetic alignment similar to Apple’s MagSafe. Thanks to this magnetic alignment, your device can perfectly line up with the charger every time, reducing power loss and heat. Both of these were common issues with older Qi pads.

2. 25W Wireless Charging

The headline upgrade with Qi2 is 25W charging support. This is a welcome bump from the older 15W limit found in many Qi-compatible devices. While this still won’t beat the crazy-fast 50W+ wired charging speeds on some Chinese Android phones, this is still a lot more practical than its predecessor. Realistically, one can charge an average phone in a little over an hour.

3. Built on Apple’s MagSafe Tech

Apple isn’t quite known for its crazy charging tech, but its MagSafe was undoubtedly a notable advantage in wireless charging. Qi2 borrows from Apple’s MagSafe system, using a Magnetic Power Profile (MPP) that ensures better contact between the charger and device. So the new Qi2 standard means that this isn’t locked to Apple anymore. Meaning, even Android devices can adopt the same precise, snap-on alignment tech. We can expect a future where a single Qi2 compatible charger can juice up your iPhone, Android, TWS earbuds, and more.

4. When Will Qi2 Devices Be Available?

Adoption of the Qi2 wireless charging standard is still a bit slow on the Android side. While Apple’s latest iPhone supports this standard, it is still limited to 15W charging rates. Samsung’s current flagship Galaxy S25 series also features Qi2 charging standard, but with the same slower 15W speeds. However, these models arrive are only “Qi2 Ready”, meaning the phone lacks built-in magnets and requires a compatible case with a magnetic ring for magnetic alignment and the full Qi2 experience. The next generation of smartphones are rumored to bring support for this standard, which could include brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus, and others. Meanwhile, the accessories makers have already begun rolling out Qi2 certified products.

Alongside the Legion R7000 2025, Lenovo has also launched a new configuration of the Legion R7000P 2025 gaming laptop in China. The latest model features the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 laptop GPU paired with the AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor. The device is priced at 8,499 yuan ($1,180) and is now available on JD.com.

The Legion R7000P 2025 targets performance-focused users with AMD’s high-end Ryzen 9 8940HX mobile CPU. The chip is based on a 5nm process and offers 16 cores and 32 threads. It supports a 115W TDP and reaches up to 5.3GHz in single-core boost.

Lenovo has equipped the laptop with the GeForce RTX 5050 GPU, which is based on Nvidia’s latest Blackwell architecture. The GPU includes 8GB of GDDR7 memory and uses a 128-bit memory interface. It supports DLSS 4, ray tracing acceleration via 4th-gen RT cores, and AI-driven enhancements through 5th-gen Tensor cores. The GPU can draw up to 115W of power and supports factory overclocking in “Beast” and “Extreme” modes.

The laptop features a 16-inch display with a 2560×1600 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 3ms response time. It supports Dolby Vision, G-Sync, FreeSync Premium, and DisplayHDR 400. The panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and is factory-calibrated to an average DeltaE below 2. Lenovo also includes TÜV Rheinland eye comfort certification and hardware-level low blue light filtering.

The R7000P 2025 features 16GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, both of which are upgradeable via dual M.2 slots. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and offers a wide range of ports, including USB-C with DP 2.1 and 140W PD, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 Ethernet, multiple USB-A ports, a 3.5mm headset jack, and a webcam kill switch.

The laptop uses Lenovo’s second-generation Qiankun cooling system, which includes a triple-fan setup, airflow tunnels, and composite heat pipes. Lenovo claims a 12% improvement in airflow and a 9dB reduction in fan noise compared to the previous version.

The R7000P 2025 includes an 80Wh battery and a 245W charger, with support for fast charging through USB-C. It weighs approximately 2.35kg and comes preloaded with Windows 11 and Lenovo’s Legion Zone utility for performance tuning and system management.

AnTuTu July 2025 Rankings: Red Magic 10S Pro+ Leads for Third Straight Month

AnTuTu has published its Android flagship performance rankings for July 2025 in China. Once again, the Red Magic 10S Pro+ has claimed the top spot with an average score of 2,943,537, marking its third straight month at number one. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, the device features a super core clocked at 4.47GHz and a GPU boosted from 1.1GHz to 1.2GHz. Its optimized performance tuning allows it to fully leverage the chip’s capabilities.

In second place is the Vivo X200 Ultra, with an average score of 2,893,125. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition. While it focuses on imaging, with lenses at 14mm, 35mm, and 85mm and ISZ support at 28mm and 70mm, its gaming and overall performance are still strong.

Third is the iQOO Neo 10 Pro+, which scored 2,889,141. It also uses the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition. As the top model in the Neo 10 series, it focuses on steady performance while keeping good camera and design quality.

AOC 10W1D tablet launched with 10-inch E-Ink display, Wacom stylus & smart study features

AOC has launched a new 10-inch black-and-white E-Ink tablet in China. The model, named “10W1D,” is now available on JD.com with a retail price of 1,699 yuan ($236). It targets students and professionals who want a distraction-free, eye-friendly reading and writing experience.

The 10W1D features a 10.1-inch E-Ink display with a resolution of 1200×1600 pixels and a 3:4 aspect ratio. The screen uses AOC’s Carta E-Ink panel with 200 PPI pixel density. It comes with an AG etched cover glass offering 23% haze, which helps reduce glare and enhances visibility under different lighting conditions. The display supports stylus input using a Wacom EMR pen that does not require charging.

AOC has built the device with a metal mid-frame, fiberglass back panel, and a thickness of 6.5mm. The tablet weighs 385 grams, making it portable and suitable for daily use in schools or offices. The construction focuses on durability while keeping the design slim.

The tablet is powered by a Rockchip RK3566 quad-core processor built on the Cortex-A55 architecture, paired with 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage. It runs on Android 11 with AOC’s custom Smart Study OS and supports third-party educational and reading apps via a curated AOC app store.

The 10W1D supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.2. It has a USB-C port that supports OTG and audio output. There is no mic input jack, but the device includes dual microphones for voice recording and AI transcription. Audio playback comes from dual 1W speakers built into the frame.

The device has a 4000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. AOC claims the battery can deliver several weeks of standby time and extended reading or study sessions without frequent recharging. The display supports multiple refresh modes, including HD, Normal, Fast, and Ultra-fast.

AOC has added AI features such as document OCR, test generation, smart error notebooks, and study-specific tools. The tablet supports PDF annotation, handwriting markup, file encryption, and split-screen multitasking.

Lenovo launches Legion R7000 2025 with RTX 5050 GPU and Ryzen 7 H255

Lenovo has launched a new configuration of its Legion R7000 2025 gaming laptop in China. The updated model features AMD’s Ryzen 7 H255 processor paired with Nvidia’s newly released GeForce RTX 5050 GPU. The laptop is now available on JD.com with a retail price of 7499 yuan ($1,040).

Lenovo Legion R7000 2025 Specifications

The Ryzen 7 H255 processor is built on a 4nm Zen 4 architecture and integrates Radeon 780M graphics. It has 8 cores and 16 threads, with a maximum single-core frequency of 4.9GHz.

The RTX 5050 GPU in this model uses Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture and includes 8GB of GDDR7 video memory on a 128-bit bus. It supports real-time ray tracing, DLSS 4, and Dynamic Boost 2.0. Lenovo has enabled the GPU to run at a peak power of 115W, contributing to a combined CPU and GPU performance output of up to 170W.

Redmi Turbo 5 December launch tipped, Poco X8 Pro may debut earlier than expected

Recent reports suggest that successors to last year’s smartphones are arriving earlier this year. For example, the Xiaomi 16 series is anticipated to launch by the end of September, which is a month ahead of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 15 series, unveiled in October last year. Additionally, a new leak indicates that the Redmi Turbo 5 will also be released ahead of its expected schedule.

Redmi Turbo 5 may launch in December

To recall, the Redmi Turbo 4 was announced in January 2025 in China. However, tipster Smart Pikachu claims that the company is speeding up the arrival of the Turbo 5 and is aiming for a December launch for the home market.

The Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to debut as the world’s first phone powered by the next-generation Dimensity 8500 chipset. The company will enjoy exclusivity of this chip, as Honor, Realme, and iQOO phones powered by the same chip may debut in Q1 2026.

According to reports, the Redmi Turbo 5 will feature a 6.67-inch flat OLED LTPS panel that supports a 1.5K resolution. The chip that powers the device may be marketed as the Dimensity 8500 Ultra. It is also expected to feature a metal middle frame and a battery of around 7,000mAh capacity.

It appears that the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, arriving next year, will be a larger device featuring a 6.83-inch screen similar to the Turbo 4 Pro. Rumours suggest it will house an 8,000mAh+ battery with 100W charging support and may launch globally as the Poco F8.

Poco X8 Pro could be coming soon

The upcoming Poco X8 Pro for the global market is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5. To recall, the Poco X7 Pro was certified by EEC in December 2024, and it went official in January 2025. Surprisingly, the Poco X8 Pro has already been approved by the EEC authority (via. XpertPick), indicating that it may debut soon after the Turbo 5, probably in December this year.

The Vivo Y400 is all set to go official tomorrow (Aug. 4) in India. While the landing page of the phone has been available on Vivo India’s website for the past few days, the brand hasn’t revealed anything significant about it. Fret not, a new leak that has emerged, courtesy of tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, has revealed almost everything from its specifications to images.

Vivo Y400 5G specifications (rumored)

As per the leak, the Vivo Y400 5G will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1800 nits of brightness. For security, it features an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.

On the front, the Vivo Y400 5G will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Its back panel will be equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens.

The Y400 5G will feature the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and a massive 6000mAh battery with 90W charging support. The device will arrive with 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of internal storage. Previous reports have claimed that it will have an IP68/69-rated body.

Vivo Y400 5G price in India (rumored)

The Vivo Y400 5G will be available in two configurations, such as 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. These variants will have market operating prices of Rs 21,999 and Rs 23,999, respectively. These are said to have Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999 MRP prices, respectively. The handset will be sold in shades like Glam White and Olive Green.

In related news, Vivo is also working on two new phones for the Indian market. While the Vivo V60 equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip is slated to go official on Aug. 12, the brand is also said to be working on the Vivo T4 Pro. At present, there is no information about the core specifications of the T4 Pro.

1. The 360 camera that most people should buy

Insta360 X5 360° Action Camera

If you’re looking for a 360 camera that does almost everything right, Insta360’s X5 is probably it. It’s the successor to the X4 and brings upgrades in the areas where it needed them most.

The X5’s twin 1/1.28-inch sensors can now capture up to 8K video at 30fps, which not only gives you more flexibility when reframing but also lets you export sharp 4K clips for traditional use.

The X5’s footage also looks clean and dynamic, and Insta360 mostly has a color science that flatters people. There’s also a new PureVideo mode that significantly improves low-light performance. And if you end up scuffing the lenses during a hike or bike ride, replacements cost just $30.

This is also one of the more versatile cameras on the list. It has a bright touchscreen, responsive gesture controls, and a single-lens mode that essentially turns it into a standard action camera.

The GoPro Max is the company’s first and only 360 camera. It is perfect for those who are already using GoPro’s ecosystem or just want a camera that works well in water, mud, and snow. The Max is waterproof up to five meters without a case, and it leans heavily into GoPro’s action-camera roots.

The selling point here is simplicity. GoPro’s OverCapture software lets you turn 360-degree footage into more traditional 2D video without much hassle. You just shoot everything and choose your angle later. The catch is that the exported video maxes out at Full HD, which is noticeably less sharp than the 4K+ files coming from newer cameras like the Insta360 X5.

Still, the Max offers rock-solid stabilization (thanks to GoPro’s HyperSmooth tech) and some cool shooting modes like 360 TimeWarp. For people who care more about ease-of-use and ruggedness than top-tier resolution, the Max could be a dependable pick.

3. DJI Osmo 360

DJI has (finally) entered the 360 space with its first dedicated model, the Osmo 360. And more than anything, it feels like a clear response to the Insta360 X5. This camera is built on DJI’s drone and action cam experience, and it shows.

It has dual 1-inch sensors, 8K video at 50fps, and a claimed 13.5 stops of dynamic range. You also get the ability to shoot 4K at 120fps with a super-wide 170° field of view, and it can shoot massive panoramic stills equivalent to 16K resolution.

There are thoughtful extras, too. It has 105GB of internal storage, a USB-C fast-charging port, voice controls, and support for DJI’s wireless mic system without a receiver. It even includes features like gesture commands, stereo and mono audio recording, and magnetic mounts borrowed from the Osmo Action line.

Perhaps the most surprising part is the battery endurance. According to DJI, it can last up to 100 minutes on continuous 8K recording, or up to 190 minutes at 6K. That’s well above what most 360 cams offer.

4. A reliable 360 camera for less

While the X5 may be Insta360’s new flagship, the X4 is still on sale and often discounted heavily. For people on a budget, it’s a solid entry point into 360 video. You still get 8K video capture at 30fps and decent battery life (about 68 minutes at 8K), but the sensors are smaller (1/2-inch), and the image quality isn’t as clean as the X5.

You also miss out on PureVideo, which means low-light footage can be rough. But in good lighting, it still holds up well. Like the X5, it can shoot in single-lens mode, making it useful for vlogging or handheld walk-and-talk videos.

The best thing about the X4 is probably the price. If you’re okay with some compromises in dynamic range and night performance, this is a way to get into the 360 world without spending top dollar.

Vivo V60 Lite in works, expected to debut with 90W charging after the V60

Earlier this year, Vivo introduced the V50 lineup, which included the V50, V50e, and V50 Lite in both 4G and 5G variants. The company skipped the V50 Pro and launched the V50 Lite in select markets. With the Vivo V60 set to launch on Aug. 12 in India, a new development indicates that the Vivo V60 Lite could be next in line.

Vivo V60 Lite bags certifications

The upcoming Vivo V60 Lite has appeared on multiple certification platforms, including SDPPI (Indonesia), CQC (China), and EEC (Europe), under the model number V2530. The SDPPI listing confirms the device’s final marketing name, while the CQC certification suggests it will support 90W fast charging.

It is not yet clear whether the V60 Lite bearing the V2530 model number will be a 4G or 5G model, but more details are expected to surface in the coming weeks.

Vivo V50 Lite specifications

For reference, the Vivo V50 Lite features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It includes a 32-megapixel front camera and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.

The 4G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It has a dual-camera setup with 50-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The 5G version uses the Dimensity 6300 SoC, offers up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, and features a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system.

Exynos 2600 officially confirmed as world’s first 2nm chip, 10-core CPU and Xclipse 960 GPU expected

Samsung has officially announced key details about its upcoming Exynos 2600 processor during its Q2 2025 earnings call. The company revealed its next flagship chip will be manufactured using the 2nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) process, positioning it ahead of competitors like Apple, MediaTek, and Qualcomm.

Exynos 2600: First 2nm chipset with a 10-core CPU

The Exynos 2600 will be the first smartphone chipset produced on Samsung Foundry’s 2nm GAA process. This design promises improvements in power efficiency, thermal management, and AI performance. Early reports suggest Samsung has developed a stronger neural processing unit to handle on-device AI functions, such as voice commands and photo enhancements.

An early Geekbench listing indicates a 10-core CPU layout in a 1+3+6 arrangement. It includes one prime core clocked at 3.55GHz, three performance cores at 2.96GHz, and six efficiency cores at 2.46GHz. The chip will feature the Xclipse 960 GPU, which is expected to deliver around 15 percent better graphics performance compared to the Adreno 830 found in the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

To prevent overheating, the chip is speculated to feature the new Heat Path Block (HPB) technology, which comprises a micro copper-based heatsink integrated directly above the processor and memory within the chip’s package-on-package structure

Expected debut with Galaxy S26 series

The Exynos 2600 is expected to launch with the Galaxy S26 Pro and S26 Edge in early 2026, while the S26 Ultra may continue with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. Alongside mobile devices, Samsung has signed a $16.5 billion deal with Tesla for 2nm chips, suggesting broader adoption of its advanced nodes. As per reports, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will feature the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset and a massive 11,600mAh battery with 45W charging. Apart from supporting S Pen and keyboard accessories, the tablet will run on the latest Android 16. The other details of the Tab S11 series are yet to be revealed.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite 5G

The leak further reveals that the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite 5G will come in a single 6GB+128GB configuration. It will be sold in multiple shades like Gray, Coral Red, and Silver.

Reports have revealed that the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite 5G will feature an Exynos 1380 chipset and an 8,000mAh battery with 45W charging. The tablet will run on Android 15 and have support for accessories like the S Pen and a keyboard. While the other specs of the tablet are under wraps, it is expected to arrive in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular editions.

Infinix has finally confirmed that the Infinix GT 30 will be unveiled on Aug. 8 in India. Its updated landing pages available on the official website and Flipkart have a lot of information about its specifications. Here’s a look at all the details that the brand has officially confirmed.

Infinix GT 30 specifications

Infinix has confirmed that the Infinix GT 30 will feature a 144Hz AMOLED display that supports a 1.5K resolution, 10-bit colors, and up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. The screen is shielded by a layer of Gorilla Glass 7i.

While the GT 30 Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 8350 chipset, the standard GT 30 is confirmed to arrive with the Dimensity 7400 SoC onboard. The chipset will be paired with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 8GB of virtual RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. With the new chip onboard, the phone is expected to score 7,79,000+ on AnTuTu.

The GT 30 is confirmed to support 90fps gaming in BGMI, which has been officially certified by Krafton. Since it is a gaming-focused phone, the device will feature customizable gaming trigger buttons.

For an enhanced gaming experience, the Infinix GT 30 will come with features like AI Magic Voice Changer, ZoneTouch Master, Esports Mode, and Performance Modes. The device will run on XOS 15-based Android 15 and will bring access to Infinix AI features like AI Call Assistant, AI Writing Assistant, and Folax voice assistant.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro Now Available in Real Wood Variant for the Chinese Market

Motorola has launched a new version of the Edge 60 Pro in China with a real wood finish. The new variant is called Basswood Walnut and joins the lineup as the fourth color option. It uses actual wood for the back panel, with a natural grain pattern that is different from the wooden finish on the Razr 60 Ultra.

The Edge 60 Pro was first released in April and came in three colors: Dazzling Blu, Sparkling Grape, and Shadow. Dazzling Blue has a nylon-like texture. Sparkling Grape and Shadow both use a faux leather finish.

It has a 6.67-inch 1.5K (2712 x 1220 pixels) 10-bit pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 4500 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme 4nm processor with Mali-G615 MC6 GPU.

It comes in two memory configurations: 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The Basswood Walnut finish is only available in the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model.

The phone runs Android 15 and supports dual nano SIM cards. It has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with macro mode, and a 10MP 3x telephoto camera with 50x Super Zoom. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Other features include stereo speakers, USB Type-C audio, Dolby Atmos, and an IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance rating. The phone is also MIL-STD-810H certified for military-grade durability. It packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 90W TurboPower fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

This wood finish is only available in the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model. The wooden finish is not new for Motorola. The 2014 Moto X also came in wood, and more recently, the Razr 60 Ultra has a Mountain Trail version with a real wood back. Motorola says the Basswood Walnut on the Edge 60 Pro is made of natural wood, not printed or synthetic material.

So far, this version of the Edge 60 Pro is only available in China. Motorola has not said if it will release it in other markets.
