Fresh information reveals that it could be a customized edition of P20 Pro flagship that may arrive in the market as P20 Porsche Design. As it can be seen in the images below, its triple lens is arranged horizontally. As it can be seen in the below images, an LED flash is positioned between dual cameras and the third camera. It is speculated that the triple lens setup features a wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens and a standard lens. The Leica branding can be seen at the top-right corner.

The official renders of the P20, P20 Pro and P20 Lite smartphones that were recently leaked by popular tipster Evan Blass had revealed that allow of them are equipped with notch design like the iPhone X. The P20 Porsche Design has a very sleek design and it is difficult to make out whether it features a notch. Probably, it does not feature a notch and it has an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The front and rear sides of the P20 Porsche Design is made out of glass and it features a metallic frame in between. There is no fingerprint scanner on the front or back panel of the phone. This suggests that the handset may come with an under-display fingerprint reader.

Xiaomi Crowdfunds Wireless Hair Straightener That’s Also A USB Powerbank

Xiaomi has announced a new crowdfunding product and this time around it is a wireless hair straightener that also doubles as a power bank. The gadget is the 157th product that is launched under the MIJIA crowdfunding platform, now YouPin, and it is priced at just 99 Yuan (~$15). The Moonlight wireless mini splint is actually manufactured by one of Xiaomi’s partners known as Ningbo Yue Li Electric Co., Ltd.Xiaomi Hair Straightener

Just recently, Xiaomi’s Mi Powerbank was spotted at the New York fashion show in the hands of several top models. This product seems to be targeted at fashionistas and will serve the female folks more. so, what better day to release it than the World women day?

The hair straightener is a very popular gadget in the women circle but most of them usually need a source of power supply in order for it to function. But this model comes entirely wireless making it ideal for use while on the road. The hair straightener features a minimalistic design similar to the conventional model. But it measures just 23 x 35 x 193mm and weighs 164g, making it very easy to carry. The outer body casing sports a matte design which makes it non-slippery. The casing is also scratch resistant and can resist high temperatures.Xiaomi Hair Straightener

The main heating surface is covered with a nano-anion coating and is powered by a 2,500mAh battery with a built-in smart power-off system. If the device is switch on and left unused for up to 15 minutes, it automatically shuts down. The battery can withstand up to 30 minutes of continuous usage. The wireless hair straightener also comes with two heating temperature levels; a low-temperature level of  160 ℃ and a high-temperature stall of 200 ℃. There are LED indicators to show when it is powered on and when the battery is almost drained completely.Xiaomi Hair Straightener

Another interesting feature of the mini wireless hair straightener is that it can be used as a mobile power bank to charge other devices when it is not in use. However, considering the smallish 2,500mAh battery, this feature may just be for emergency use when there is absolutely no alternative charging source.

The Xiaomi Moonlight wireless mini splint is presently available for crowdfunding for just 99 Yuan ($15) at Xiaomi’s Youpin platform. The gadget will start shipping on April 5.Xiaomi Hair Straightener

Meizu E3 Press Invites Leaked: Launches On March 21 In Beijing

Press invites for the Meizu E3 launch have just leaked: they highlight the date and the place of the event in which the new handset will be unveiled, as well as some key features. Besides the E3 moniker, the invite contains an image which shows a transition from a 1937 airplane to a 2018 airplane. It symbolizes the technologic progress made in the last years by the company and it makes us think that this phone will have something innovative. The invites hint at a full metal unibody design, and we already expected an aluminum design given that this device should be a mid-ranger.

meizu e3

Right after Sony switched to rear-mounted fingerprint reader on its latest line-up Xperia XA2 and XZ2, Meizu E3 should sport a side-mounted fingerprint reader instead, and its back cover should house a dual camera setup. As shown on the invites, the launch event will be held on March 21 at National Centre for the Performing Arts, in Beijing. It will be possible to sign in from 13:30 to 14:30 local time, while from 14:30 to 15:30 the company will officially announce the Meizu E3. From 15:30 until 16:30 it will be possible to try the new device.

According to previous rumors, Meizu may decide to release this phone in two different variants identified by the names Meizu E3 G and E3 P. The former could be a version dedicated to gaming, with a special Game Mode 2.0 in the software to enhance performance while playing games. If so, we expect to see a high-end SoC on this handset, but we still have no info on its chips. The second variant of the device is tipped to be dedicated to photography, as the P suggests. Indeed, according to the Senior Vice President Li Nan, Meizu E3 will be able to shoot better photos than the M6 Note.

Alleged Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S Spotted in Real Skin with Repositioned Selfie Camera, In-Screen Fingerprint Sensor

Huawei will be launching the P20 and P20 Pro flagships on March 27. Well-known tipster Evan Blass has already shared high-resolution renders of the P20 family well before their official announcement. On the same day, Xiaomi will be also launching the Mi MIX 2S flagship phone. The design of the phone seems to be one of the best kept secrets so far because of the none of leaked photos that have surfaced so far seems to have revealed the actual device. Fresh images showing the alleged Mi MIX 2S in real skin have appeared on Weibo.

The new images show that the screen of the Mi MIX 2S is surrounded super-slim bezels. The bottom bezel on the Mi MIX and Mi MIX 2 smartphones are a bit thick as they are fitted with a selfie camera. The leaked images of the phone reveal that its chin is slightly thicker than other bezels, but not as thick as its predecessor phones.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S leaked photo

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S leaked photo 3

The leakster claims that he is shocked to know how the engineers were able to fit a camera module into such a small chin. Hence, he claims that the Mi MIX 2S will be offering a highest screen-to-body ratio compared to other full screen design phones.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S leaked photo 2

A horizontally arranged dual camera setup along with its dual-tone LED flash can be found at the top-left corner of the rear panel. The fingerprint scanner is missing from the front and rear sides of the phone. This suggests that the Mi MIX 2S could be the first Xiaomi phone to feature under-display fingerprint scanner. A leaked photo that had surfaced last week had also suggest that it will be featuring an in-screen fingerprint reader.

It also contains the watermark that reads “Shot on MI MIX 2S AI Dual Camera.” XDA Developers had recently revealed through the firmware files of the Mi MIX 2S that the images shot using it will carry the same watermark. The tipster claims that the AI dual camera of the phone supports slow motion video shooting at 960 fps

Through the firmware files, it has been known that the Mi MIX 2S will be coming with an 18:9 aspect ratio supporting display that will produce FHD+ resolution. Some reports have claimed that it will be coming with a 6.01-inch OLED display. The Mi MIX 2S is also expected to arrive as the first phone from the company with support for wireless charging. It will be driven by the Snapdragon 845 chipset. Other rumored features that have been unearthed through the firmware files of the handset include Sony IMX363 sensor, Android 8.0 Oreo OS and 3,400mAh battery

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Starring In A New Video With A Top Right Camera Notch

A new video showing the upper half of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has just surfaced online and it shows incredibly narrow bezels on three sides. In the video, we can also clearly see the small and less invasive notch. It is a notch placed in the top right corner and it only makes space for the front camera.

It may not be the best position for a camera, but on the other hand, we will finally see a near true full borderless display. Unfortunately, the video does not show the lower part of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, which is usually the part containing the thicker bezel. But a previously leaked video (below) has already shown that part with exactly the same narrow border as the other three sides, so if that video is to be believed, the best borderless phone ever may be coming soon.

Unfortunately, we can’t be sure whether the device in these videos is really the Mi Mix 2S. The front matches the renders we have seen so far, but make sure to take it with a pinch of salt. Unless we see the front camera in action, or the device in a better video, we can’t be sure whether the top right corner notch is the real deal.

The launch of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S has already been confirmed: it will be official on March 27, exactly the same day on which Huawei will showcase its new P20 series. It is also confirmed that the flagship will sport the best flagship SoC by Qualcomm. We are referring to the Snapdragon 845, an octa-core which can run at a max frequency of 2.9 GHz and has a dedicated module for AI. Indeed, Mi Mix 2S has already been confirmed to support AI for photography. The device will be equipped with a dual camera setup which will be able to recognize scenes and adapt the settings automatically to capture the most impressive photos in every condition.

Windows 10 S Coming To All Windows 10 Versions Thanks To The S Mode

Do you remember Windows 10 S? It is a light version of the operating system announced by Microsoft about 10 months ago which can only run apps from Microsoft Store. It has been launched to enhance performance in low-end PCs, to provide a cleaner user experience and to rival Google’s Chrome OS. Well, even though it even received an encouragement from Google, this operating system was not received well.

The main cause is probably the shortage of apps in the Microsoft Store. Further, Joe Belfiore stated that there was confusion about this version of the OS from Microsoft’s partners and consumers. That is why the Redmond giant has decided to include Windows 10 S in every Windows 10 version through a special S Mode which will arrive with an upcoming update.

Microsoft Surface Pro

Both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro users will be able to switch to the S Mode in order to have a faster and more intuitive user experience, without Win32 programs. And, obviously, it will be possible to switch back to the normal mode when needed. All the users who bought a PC with Windows 10 S installed will be able to switch to the full Windows 10 version for free instead of paying $49 like before.

Nubia N3 Official: 5.99 Full-screen Display, 4GB RAM, SD625, 5000mAh Battery.

ZTE’s elite Nubia division has officially announced the Nubia N3. The N3 was recently spotted in the wild with the design and specs details revealed. According, the official specs are in consonance with the ones leaked earlier. The standout feature is perhaps the full-screen 18:9 display the device packs. This isn’t the first time Nubia is releasing a full-screen model but this is the first mid-range model from the Chinese firm with the trending design.Nubia N3

The Nubia N3 sports a 5.99-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080p and 403ppi. The device adopts the 18:9 aspect ratio which means it comes with ultra-thin bezels. This is in keeping up with the growing trend which has engulfed the industry since the launch of the Galaxy S8 last year. However, there is a sizable amount of bezels at the top and bottom edges but the device lacks a physical home button even though there is enough bezel at the bottom to house one. Instead, the device will utilise virtual buttons and there is a stylish ring which identifies the virtual home button.Nubia N3

The N3 is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. The device also packs a 64GB internal storage which can be expanded by up to 128GB via microSD. Providing the interface is Android 7.1 Nougat OS which is likely modified with Nubia’s custom UI.Nubia N3

Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus To Come With Snapdragon 660 and Exynos 8895 Respectively

Meizu’s focus may be on the launch of the E3 which has been scheduled for March 21 but it is also working on its flagships – the Meizu 15 Plus and its siblings.

The anniversary edition phone is reported to come in three versions – the Meizu 15 Lite, the Meizu 15, and the Meizu 15 Plus. There have been lots of leaks with respect to the three devices but one key feature that has not been confirmed is the processors that will power each of them.

There are rumors that the Meizu 15 Plus will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9810 but the chances of that happening are slim. Meizu’s head of global marketing, Ard Boudeling had said in a tweet recently that using a Snapdragon 845 processor will drive the cost of the phone up.

Meizu 15 series

Meizu 15 Snapdragon 660

New info with respect to the SoCs powering the phones have surfaced online. The info comes from a tech blogger on Weibo who goes by @Technology Wolf.

In a post from last week, he revealed that the Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Lite will be powered by Snapdragon processors while the Meizu 15 Plus will feature a Samsung (Exynos) processor. None of them will be powered by MediaTek.

In a new Weibo post today, he said the Meizu 15 will come with very thin bezels and be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor. He even includes a photo of the phone with the “About Phone” section visible which confirms the device is powered by the SDM660.

Smartisan T3 Design Details Revealed: To have Notched Display, Rear Fingerprint Scanner

Smartisan is already working on its first phone for the year. Details of the phone called the Smartisan T3 have surfaced online courtesy of an industry insider.

According to @Mocha RQ, the Smartisan T3 will have a LCD display and not an OLED one. It will also keep the fingerprint scanner on the back – embedded under the logo like in the Smartisan Nut Pro 2.

Smartisan T3

Another detail he mentioned is that the phone will come with a notch but a small one and the rear cameras will be arranged horizontally. He added that Smartisan’s CEO Luo Yonghao expressed his displeasure at a large cut-out in the display and vertically arranged dual rear cameras.

The Smartisan T3 is expected to launch on May 15 and is rumored to come with a Snapdragon 845 processor. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as Smartisan has always released phones powered by Snapdragon 800 chipsets with 2017 being the exception.

Android P Adds Screen Rotate Button To Navigation Bar

The first developer preview of the Android P was released yesterday and the internet has been flooded with tens of posts about the new features it brings.

Android P Rotate Button

A new discovery is the addition of the screen rotate button to the navigation button. Android already has a rotate button in the quick settings menu which lets you set the screen’s orientation to portrait, landscape, or auto-rotate.

The new button is useful for those times when you need to view what’s currently on your screen in a mode other than the default you have set your phone too.

Android P Rotate Button

For example, let’s say you want to view a webpage in landscape mode while the phone is set to portrait. When you turn the phone to the landscape position, the button appears on the far left corner of the navigation bar. Tap it and your screen changes orientation. The same applies to when switching back to portrait mode.

If you switch apps, the orientation of the current app remains the default the phone is set to and not that of the app you just exited.

OPPO R15 Real Machine Spotted While in Use Inside A Shenzhen Subway

OPPO R15 is already confirmed by the numerous teasers and leaked promotional material as being in existence. It is only a matter of time before the device will be launched. The major stand out feature on the device as seen on the several leaked photos and videos is the display notch which the device packs similar to that of iPhone X. That design style has again been reaffirmed by these newly leaked photos of the device which was spotted in the hands of an unidentified user.OPPO R15

The OPPO R15 real machine was spotted while in use inside a Shenzhen subway train and it gives us a closer look at the front design. Except the pictures are fake, which is unlikely, the R15 looks more bezel-less than what we could scoop from the leaked renders. The device has a really high screen-to-body ratio which could be up to 98% by our own analysis. The selfie camera can be seen on the notch which houses not just the camera but also the front speaker. The notification bar seems to extend downwards and isn’t just occupying the sides of the display notch.OPPO R15

RELATED: OPPO R15 Leaked Image, Renders Surface Amidst Rumors of Cancelling OPPO R13 Moniker

Apart from the notch design, the OPPO R15 is expected to feature an advanced facial recognition tech. The facial recognition could be similar to what Apple does, unlike other software-based recognition technologies, but we can’t be sure at the moment. The size of the device points at a 6.0-inch Full-View display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is also expected to come with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, gesture-enabled virtual home button, vertically stacked dual rear cameras, and Color OS 4.0based on Android 8.1 Oreo. There’s also speculation that the new R15 models will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 670 chipset, while a recent rumour tips the device to pack an Helio P60 chipset. There is no word yet on when the device would be launched but we expect OPPO to roll out invitation posters and send out press invites to the R15 launch event soon.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A 3GB + 32GB Version Goes Official at 699 Yuan (~$110)

Xiaomi has gone official with a new memory version of the Redmi 5A. The new version comes with 3GB of RAM as well as 32GB of internal storage and is priced at just 699 Yuan (~$110). The price is just 100 Yuan higher than the 599-Yuan 2GB RAM variant but apart from the improved memory, the device retains the design and other specs of the 2GB RAM variant. We had expected this variant to be announced in due cause considering the Redmi 4A also had the same 3GB RAM variant introduced some months after its launch. Buyers will have the chance to snag up this variant on March 12 at 10 AM via Jingdong (JD.com).Xiaomi Redmi 5A

Xiaomi Redmi 5A was first launched in October 2017 as a successor to highly successful Redmi 4A which made its debut in 2016 but turned out to be one of Xiaomi’s highest-selling product alongside the Redmi Note 4.  The device features an ultra-light all-metal body which is one aspect where it is different from the Redmi 4A. The design is also very much similar to the Redmi 4A in many aspects like the bottom speaker grills at the back and the rear camera which is tilted to the left side. The little difference in the design at the rear is that the speaker grills are located under the fused antenna band design in this case unlike on the Redmi 4A where it is on top the bottom line which looks like antenna band line. At the top, the line runs through the rear camera and flash on the Redmi 4A but in this case, the antenna line is under the rear camera and flash. xiaomi redmi 5a

The device is powered by a Quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz which is paired with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. At the back, the phone features a 13MP sensor with PDAF and LED flash. While the front camera is a 5MP sensor. It packs a 3,000mAh battery which is touted to deliver up to 8 days of standby time.Xiaomi-Redmi-5A-Profile-Page
