Huawei has rumored to released their own octa-core processor, and today Huawei has officially release their new Huawei Haas Kirin 920 and Kirin 910T processor.
Huawei HiSilicon’s octa-core processor challenges the Snapdragon 805
The secretary-general of the Mobile China Alliance, @老杳, announced in his Weibo account today that Huawei’s HiSilicon microchip manufacturer company will release its Kirin 920 chipset and that phones installed with this chipset should hit stores by the end of the month.
According to a photo released by the secretary-general, the Kirin 920 is built on 28nm architecture and follows the big.Little octa-core chipset design. Four of its cores are Cortex A15 and the rest are Cortex-A7. Its GPU is the Mali-T628, ARM’s newest GPU which can support, at most, a screen with 2560×1600 resolution.
The Kirin 920’s biggest chip can support LTE Cat 6 and global frequency. It also supports 4G voice message using SGLTE/CSFB and VoLTE.

China Mobile releases its own 4G cellphone for 999 RMB (159.84 USD)
Today, China Mobile held a launch event in Beijing for their own 4G cellphone, the ME811. It will be sold for 999 RMB, has an 5-inch 720p screen, and runs on the Snapdragon 400 quad-core MSM8926 chipset. It also has 1GB RAM and 4GB memory space.
The ME811 operates under the Android 4.3 system and runs on a built-in 2500mAh battery. As China Mobile’s own phone, it supports GSM/TDSCDMA/TD-LTE internet (supports roaming), and allows NFC.
According to China Mobile representatives, the ME811 will start being sold in China Mobile stores all over China.

Android 4.4 upgrade of the The LUFTCO A-one X to be released

Earlier this year, the upper management of MMB announced that they will sell the Big Q Q+1, an octa-core edition of their Big Q phone. Recently, name was changed to the Big Q Note.

Recently, weibo user @建华Wei业showed photos in his account of what is supposed to be the new flagship of Huawei’s Honor series. Based on the photos, it seems to have a resemblance to older phones, especially if you look at it from the side where it looks like a copy of the Ascend P1, but the camera is not indented.
Huawei might skip naming it the Honor 4, instead calling it the Honor 6. If so, then the one in the photos may be an earlier design, which adds the possibility that some changes may have been done.

The price of the Lenovo S860, which has a 5.3-inch screen and 4000mhA battery, is lowered to 1399 RMB (223.83 USD)
As many companies rushed to lower the prices of their products to compete with each other, Lenovo recently lowered the price of the S860 in the online stores jd.com and yixun.com from 1499 RMB (239.73 USD) to 1399 RMB.
Like its predecessors, the S860 runs on a 4000mhA battery and uses electricity-saving technology, making it last up to seven days when put at the strongest battery-saving mode. If recharged quickly, it can only last for about three days.

Meizu may relaase an MTK6595 edition of its 4G phone at a lower price in August
June 5, 2014. Jiutang Pan reported in his weibo account that Nan Li predicted in an interview that the “hammer will miss the Great 4G Wave.”
It looks like Meizu may release an MTK6595 version of its 4G phone, the high-end MX4 which was released in the Q4 earning season and is based on the Samsung chipset (high and low versions), at a lower price.
Some netizens have already asked Meizu’s upper management when their new phone will be released and vice president Nan Li said, “at the end of the year.”
Meizu usually launches their new products every November-December so it should not be expected if it was the same this year. What’s probably different though is they release many new products at a single launch event this year.
