BYD has overtaken Tesla in global electric vehicle (EV) sales through the first nine months of 2025. The Chinese automaker delivered 1.61 million battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) from January to September, compared to Tesla’s 1.22 million units. This marks a lead of 388,000 vehicles for BYD, based on data released by both companies.

BYD’s sales increased 37% year-on-year, while Tesla’s sales declined by 6%. This is the fourth consecutive quarter where BYD has outsold Tesla in global BEV sales. The data suggests that BYD is likely to finish the year as the top-selling EV brand globally.

Tesla posted a record quarter between July and September with 497,100 global deliveries. However, it still trailed BYD, which shipped 582,500 BEVs in the same period. Tesla’s strong quarter came as U.S. customers rushed to take advantage of federal EV subsidies that expired at the end of September.

Tesla’s performance in China also received a boost with the launch of the Model Y L, a six-seat long-wheelbase SUV. The model reportedly received 120,000 orders shortly after launch. However, Tesla continues to face pressure in Europe and Australia, where competition from local and Chinese brands has intensified.

While Tesla remains a BEV-only manufacturer, BYD continues to sell both BEVs and plug-in hybrids. This strategy has helped BYD maintain high volume despite intense price competition in China. Analysts expect BYD to deliver 2.17 million BEVs by the end of 2025, while Tesla is projected to reach around 1.61 million.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has warned of a “rough few quarters” ahead. The company has shifted focus to autonomous driving and robotics, though these areas have yet to make a significant financial impact.

BYD’s lower average selling price and broad product portfolio have allowed it to capture market share rapidly. The company’s ability to sustain momentum in international markets will likely determine whether it can retain its lead into 2026.

The company launched the system with the new six-seat Model Y L SUV, which went on sale in August. Unlike older Tesla models in China that require pressing a steering wheel button, the Model Y L supports a wake phrase. Drivers can say “Hey Tesla” or set a custom word to activate the assistant hands-free.

Tesla’s choice of partners reflects its push to localize features for the Chinese market. Domestic rivals such as BYD, Nio, and Xpeng already use advanced AI voice assistants, giving them an advantage in customer experience. By adopting DeepSeek and Doubao, Tesla aims to close that gap and compete more directly with homegrown brands.

In the United States, Tesla continues to use Grok, the AI model built by Elon Musk’s startup xAI. Tesla has officially launched the Model Y electric SUV in India, marking the company’s long-anticipated debut in the country. The launch follows a teaser released last week and coincides with the opening of Tesla’s first Experience Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.

Tesla will offer two rear-wheel drive variants of the Model Y. Bookings are now open on the official website, and deliveries are scheduled to begin later this year. The base Rear-Wheel Drive variant will start shipping in Q3 2025, while the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive model will be available from Q4 2025. Initial deliveries will be limited to Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram.

The Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive is priced at ₹60,99,690 (on-road), while the Long Range version costs ₹69,07,690. These prices include registration and taxes but may vary depending on state regulations.

The Model Y features a minimal exterior design with updated front and rear lightbars, a panoramic glass roof, and acoustic laminated glass to reduce road noise. Inside the cabin, Tesla has included soft-touch materials, ambient lighting, and aluminum trim. The dashboard features a 15.4-inch central touchscreen and an 8-inch display for rear passengers.

Both variants include heated and ventilated front seats, heated and power-reclining second-row seats, and dual-zone climate control. Tesla claims the standard Model Y offers a WLTP range of 500 km and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The Long Range model increases the range to 622 km and completes the same sprint in 5.6 seconds.

The Model Y supports Tesla’s digital ecosystem, which includes Tesla Theater for streaming, Tesla Arcade for in-car gaming, and app-based remote controls. Standard features also include a 9-speaker sound system, dashcam and Sentry Mode, Bluetooth rear seat controls, and route-aware charging suggestions.

Safety features include Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Avoidance. Tesla has included eight external cameras, including a new front-facing unit, to support future software-based driver-assist upgrades.

Customers can opt for additional upgrades such as exterior paint options priced between ₹95,000 and ₹1,95,000, a Black and White interior for ₹95,000, and Full Self-Driving Capability for ₹6,00,000.

Tesla plans to expand its presence across metro cities in India, including New Delhi. The company also aims to build local support infrastructure such as service centers, delivery hubs, and charging stations.

Tesla’s pricing in India remains significantly higher than in the U.S., where the Model Y starts at $44,990. The price increase is largely due to high import duties and luxury taxes. Tesla has not yet confirmed any plans for local manufacturing, which would make the Model Y eligible for lower import duties under India’s new EV policy.

After the Mumbai reveal, the brand also has plans to open another flagship showroom in Delhi’s Aerocity.

Unfortunately, the exact region of the Delhi showroom is still unclear. This news also arrives after Elon Musk (Tesla CEO) met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Tesla apparently has plans to make its EVs more affordable in India. While its cheapest Tesla Model 3 starts from 40,000 US Dollars, rumors hinted at the brand working on a 25,000 US Dollar model for the Indian market. This roughly translates to about 22,00,000 INR (or 22 lakh INR).

With Tesla entering the Indian EV segment, the entire industry can expect a big impact with the brand bringing cutting edge technology like the autopilot feature. Although, it remains to be seen how the company implements most of these features. Tesla is expected to be planning local manufacturing and could be in talks with the Indian government. Tesla’s sales are off to a rough start in 2025, with significant declines in key global markets. Despite launching the Cybertruck, the company has struggled to maintain demand. Sales data from various regions, including California, Europe, and China, show a downward trend, even in areas where Tesla once dominated the electric vehicle (EV) market.

Tesla’s decline in California 

California, the largest EV market in the U.S., saw Tesla’s sales drop by 11.6% year-over-year in 2024. While the state’s overall EV market share remained steady at 25.3%, Tesla was a major reason for the market’s decline. Other brands saw a 1.4% increase in sales, while Tesla’s numbers fell.

The Model 3 was hit hardest, with registrations declining by nearly 30,000 units from 2023. The Model Y also saw a drop of over 4,000 units. The Cybertruck became California’s top-selling electric pickup but recorded only 9,019 registrations, a figure lower than expected.

European Market 

Tesla is losing ground in Europe as well. In Germany, sales dropped 60% in January 2025, with only 1,277 vehicles registered. Tesla also lost its long-held position as the top EV brand, as Volkswagen, BMW, Audi, and Chinese brands gained market share. In France, Tesla’s sales plummeted by 63% year-over-year in January. Despite an increase in EV adoption, the UK market also saw Tesla’s sales decline by 8%.

China sales fall as market shifts 

China, which accounts for one-third of Tesla’s global sales, saw an 11.5% drop in sales in January 2025. The decline is partly attributed to the seasonal slowdown caused by the Chinese Spring Festival and production adjustments at Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory. However, growing competition from local Chinese EV brands is also a factor in Tesla’s struggles.

Reasons behind Tesla’s decline 

Several factors are contributing to Tesla’s falling sales. Increased competition from traditional automakers and Chinese EV manufacturers is eroding Tesla’s dominance. The company also lacks a presence in key segments like three-row SUVs, a growing category in the EV market.

In Europe, the end of EV subsidies in some countries has led to a slowdown in demand. There are growing calls for an EU-wide subsidy program to counter rising Chinese EV imports.

Even budget-friendly models priced under 100,000 yuan (US$13,914) will now include basic self-driving capabilities. This rapid growth is driven by the declining cost of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), making high-tech features more accessible to everyday consumers.

By 2025, two out of three new cars in China will have L2 or more advanced autonomous capabilities. L2 systems can control steering, acceleration, and braking but still require driver supervision. More advanced L3+ features, which allow for hands-free driving in certain conditions, are also expanding, though full automation (L4 and L5) is still under development.

How does this impact the auto industry?

China’s EV industry continues to expand, with 22.9 million vehicles delivered in 2024, marking a 5.5% year-on-year increase. While Tesla remains a global leader in self-driving technology, it faces challenges in China. The company achieved record sales in China at the end of 2024 but struggles with fierce competition from local EV makers like BYD. A global EV price war has also impacted Tesla’s profit margins, with Q4 revenue falling short of expectations.

Tesla’s biggest challenge in China is regulatory restrictions. The country does not allow Tesla to transfer self-driving training videos abroad, and US laws restrict AI training in China. These issues have slowed Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) progress in the country.

Tesla unveiled its innovative new Cybercab earlier today (11th October 2024). The ambitious robotaxi carries a $30,000 price tag and features a completely autonomous design with no steering wheels or pedals. While all of this sounds pretty futuristic and impressive, one innovation that stood out for me was the innovative new wireless charging technology. So what is it all about? Can it revolutionize electric vehicles? Read on to find out.

Tesla Cybercab: What makes it special?

The American EV maker’s Cybercab features a sleek new design that borrows looks from the Cybertruck and Robovan. It is a two seater vehicle that is designed to offer a relaxing ride to passengers. This is clearly signified in Tesla’s decision to remove the steering wheel entirely. The Cybercab arrives with a gold finish on the exterior, with a light bar that houses matrix headlights.

The smart taxi also relies heavily on cameras and sensors for a 360 degree view. Its hatchback design blends comfort with a lounge-like atmosphere. Elon is clearly pushing hard on the FSD (full self driving) cars with this announcement. Musk is expecting this small EV that costs less than $30,000 to arrive sometime before 2027. So we can expect a mid to late 2026 release.

Induction Wireless Charging: Future of EVs?

Tesla Cybercab could be changing the game in electric vehicles. The robotaxi is the first of its kind, introducing wireless induction charging technology. Why is this so important? current gen EVs still have a wired charging format. But the new Cybercab features no physical charging port, the first Tesla car to remove it. Thanks to inductive charging, the self driving vehicle charges wirelessly using electromagnetic fields to transfer energy from a charging pad to the battery.

In the official announcement, Elon Musk casually stated “The robotaxi has no plug. It just goes over the inductive charger and charges. So, yeah, that’s kind of how it should be.” He also added that “The future has to look like the future”, and these design choices are clearly of a vehicle from the near future. Unfortunately, the launch event did not reveal any finer details like the technical specs of this robotaxi. So we are unsure about Cybercab’s battery size or how induction technology’s charging rate.

The Possibilities are Endless

Interesting rumors have also pointed at the induction tech possibly using mats or tracks on roads as well. All of this, in theory, could also help with the long queues at public charging stations that plague cities that have a higher adoption of EVs. There are many issues related to charging faced by EV owners.

One of the big issues also includes charging station compatibility. The infrastructure around EVs for the public includes meeting the requirements to plug and power your car. But these incompatibility problems might disappear if the entire EV segment switches to a common wireless charging standard like Qi wireless charging on smartphones. Although, it is still too early to tell since we’re still a few years from such vehicles hitting the road, but Tesla’s Cybercab does offer us a glimpse of EVs in the future.

Elon Musk pulled the curtain back on a new, electric, autonomous vehicle at Tesla’s “We, Robot” event in Los Angeles on Thursday night. Called the Robovan, it is a prototype that’s roughly the size of a bus and is designed for transporting people and goods within high-density areas.

According to Musk, the Robovan is capable of carrying up to 20 passengers or cargo. The Robovan also has a distinctive retro-futuristic aesthetic, like the Tesla Cybercab unveiled at the same event. 

It has a silver metallic body with black accents and is adorned with sleek strips of lighting. It looks like, to me, something Iron Man would drive if he needed a van.

It has sliding doors that open to reveal the interior, which includes seating, standing space, and tinted windows— all without a steering wheel. After Cybercab, it’s another vehicle from Tesla that’s fully autonomous in nature.

And while the robotaxi is said to get the cost of transport down to around 20 cents a mile, the Robovan is claimed to take that even further, down to just 5-10 cents a mile.

The video below shows the Robovan in action, and it certainly looks like something out of the future. However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see design changes when it becomes a reality. For instance, the Robovan has a low ground clearance, which is clearly not practical for city roads.

Musk is quite optimistic about Tesla Robovan

Musk, however, didn’t reveal much about the specifics of the van. And since it’s a prototype, details on the price, production plans, and a release date remain unclear. It will not be a cheap vehicle, though, that’s for sure. 

Musk, however, said, “We’re going to make this.” But take the statement with a bit of skepticism as Tesla has a history of missing self-imposed deadlines. Adding to the uncertainty, this is just a prototype. The final design and production timeline are far from certain. 

While the Robovan is undeniably eye-catching, it isn’t a novel concept for an autonomous van. We’ve seen similar concepts from companies like Zoox and Cruise, albeit on a smaller scale. China’s WeRide has also unveiled a comparable Robobus.

It’s designed for a world where passengers relax and let the car handle the driving. However, there are some doubts in terms of its self-driving capabilities. Let’s get into the details. 

Cybercab steals the spotlight

First things first, the Cybercab is a real head-turner. It made its debut in a gold-finished exterior that features a light bar seemingly housing matrix headlights, reminiscent of the Cybertruck. 

And it’s not just the steering that’s missing from this guy, it doesn’t have a pedal or even a rear window. It’s designed to rely entirely on cameras and sensors for a 360-degree view of its surroundings. n fact, Tesla CEO Elon Musk made a dramatic entrance on the event stage inside the Cybercab itself.

Inside, passengers are greeted by a lounge-like atmosphere and you’ll have a ample cargo space thanks to a large hatchback trunk.

One of the most interesting features of the Cybercab is the wireless induction charging. With no charging port, it’s the first Tesla vehicle to support this technology. However, the event didn’t shed light on the technical details like the battery size of the Cybercab or how fast it charges. 

Inductive charging is a wireless method of charging electric vehicles (EVs) that uses electromagnetic fields to transfer energy from a charging pad to the battery. 

Musk says, “The robotaxi has no plug. It just goes over the inductive charger and charges. So, yeah, that’s kind of how it should be.”

Tesla Cybercab drives autonomously?

Now, let’s address the elephant in the room — the self-driving technology itself. Tesla has been promising fully autonomous driving capabilities for years, yet current models with the “Full Self-Driving (FSD)” package still require human supervision. This casts a shadow over the Cybercab’s complete lack of driver controls.

Musk assures that the Cybercab utilizes the latest Tesla AI5 computer and relies solely on camera systems. He also reiterated his intention to activate unsupervised Full Self-Driving on current models next year in specific regions. 

But to be honest, this same promise has been made annually for the past five years. Additionally, data suggests Tesla needs a significant improvement in disengagement rates (the frequency a human driver has to take control) before unsupervised driving becomes a reality. So we are not highly optimistic about Musk’s claim yet. 

Tesla Cybercab Price and Availability

As for the price and availability, Musk says that the Cybercab production would begin sometime “before 2027” and it will have a price tag under $30,000. 

Yet, we can’t ignore the fact that Tesla’s second-generation Roadster, unveiled in 2017, has yet to enter series production. So there’s no guarantee that the Cybercab won’t face a similar fate. The expectations are high, but only time will tell if Tesla and Musk can deliver on these promises.

Tesla has commenced the rollout of its FSD (Full Self-Driving) v12.5.1 update to select vehicles. This latest iteration promises big improvements, including the integration of urban and highway driving capabilities, previously separate functions.

Despite earlier reports of production cuts, Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory is currently running at full capacity, according to a visit by Beijing News Shell Finance on July 15th. The factory’s Model Y production line is churning out a new car roughly every 30 seconds.

Tesla’s final assembly workshop uses a vertically-stacked, dual-line configuration

This news comes after concerns arose earlier this year about reduced production at the Shanghai plant. Reuters reported in May that Tesla planned to cut production by at least 20% between March and June 2024. Tesla China remained silent on the issue, and new car registration and export volumes did show a decline compared to the same period in 2023.

However, with the third quarter underway, Tesla appears to be ramping up production to meet its year-end targets. CEO Elon Musk has previously stated that the company expects to surpass last year’s car sales figures, and achieving this goal hinges on the Shanghai factory operating at full speed.

The report also highlights the factory’s impressive level of automation. Tesla’s final assembly workshop utilizes a vertically stacked, dual-line configuration, with vertical elevators transporting doors, bodies, and other components, saving nearly 100 meters of production line space. Additionally, the four workshops are interconnected, allowing for efficient movement of manufactured parts within the facility.

This high degree of automation translates to a staggering 95% fully automated production across the factory, with the welding workshop nearing 100% automation.

Beyond car production, Tesla is also making progress on its Shanghai Energy Storage Super Factory project. According to Tesla Vice President Tao Lin, the project remains on track for completion in 2025. This facility will focus on manufacturing Tesla’s flagship energy storage product, the Megapack.

Tesla has unveiled a new rear-wheel drive version of their Model 3 for the Singapore market, called the “Drive 110”. This version prioritizes affordability over raw performance, making it a potentially attractive option for Singaporean consumers due to the country’s unique car ownership regulations.

The new Model 3 sacrifices some performance for that lower price tag.

This new version boasts a lower price tag of SGD 69,300 (approximately 372,700 Yuan) compared to the standard rear-wheel drive variant. However, it sacrifices some performance with a total power output of 110 kW and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 8.6 seconds (compared to 6.1 seconds for the standard model). Interestingly, both versions share the same WLTP driving range of 513 km.

Whether this version will be available in mainland China remains unclear, as it’s specifically designed to comply with Singapore’s regulations.

So, why the “Drive 110”? Singapore’s car ownership system requires bidding for a Certificate of Ownership (COE) before purchasing a vehicle. There are two COE categories: Class A (up to 110 kW) and Class B (above 110 kW). Class A COEs are significantly cheaper. Taking both the COE cost and car price into consideration, the “Drive 110” with its Class A COE becomes the more affordable option for Singaporean consumers, despite the reduced performance compared to the standard rear-wheel drive version.

Of course, the situation can be explained very clearly. While Tesla mainly produces high-priced vehicles such as the Cybertruck, BYD is known for its more affordable EVs. Despite affecting sales, Tesla maintains a strong profitability advantage. In June, Tesla’s EV sales in China dropped by 24.2% from the previous year to 71,007 units, marking the third consecutive annual decline.

Although the Chinese market appears challenging, trade tensions could alter this outlook. It has to be stated that Elon Musk has a notorious record of making claims that later turned out to be inaccurate. It is however likely that the upcoming Tesla Roadmaster will be very fast. Musk has previously claimed that the Roadmaster will be able to fly. It has been an unending wait for the release of the Tesla Roadster after it was first unveiled. The car was announced seven years ago during Tesla’s Semi and Roadster event. The Roadster is the brand’s top vehicle which has been on the yet-to-be-released list since 2020. It was meant to be the successor to the 2008 Roadster which was based on the Elise platform. The Roadster signposted Tesla’s entry into the electric vehicle market.

The Roadster was originally specified as having an acceleration capability of going from 0 to 62mph (100km/h) in 1.9 seconds. This acceleration was impressive at the time but currently, this is not the case. There are several Tesla and Lucid vehicles with a better speed performance than 0-62mph in under 2 seconds. Additionally, supercars in the same category as the Roadster can achieve such performance in 1.7 seconds.

In 2021, Elon Musk claimed that the Tesla Roadster could achieve 0-62mph in 1.1 seconds. It will be aided by a SpaceX option package that will include up to 10 small rocket thrusters arranged around the car. The feature was announced in 2018 and it was the first time that Musk claimed the Roadster was able to fly.

If things go as planned, the Roadster is expected to be released this year and will enter production in 2025. The initial starting price of the Roadster was $200,000 but its current price has not been provided by Tesla.

February saw both companies grappling with substantial sales slumps, with BYD’s sales plummeting nearly 40% month-on-month and Xpeng experiencing a decline of almost 45%.

BYD, headquartered in Shenzhen and backed by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, took an aggressive stance by slashing the price of its refreshed Yuan Plus SUV to 119,800 yuan, marking an 11.8% reduction compared to its predecessor. This move follows a series of price cuts implemented by BYD over the past weeks, indicating a determined effort to stimulate sales amidst a challenging market landscape.

Meanwhile, Xpeng, based in Guangzhou, extended its 20,000-yuan discount on its popular G6 SUV until the month’s end. The cost of the Model Y was fixed at 56.99 million won ($43,000) in July 2023 and this made it qualify for a full government subsidy. However, a recent announcement by the regulator has further lowered the threshold for government subsidies to EVs priced below 55 million won, which will result in up to a 50% decline in allowable subsidy for the Model Y. It is unclear whether there will be a reaction by Tesla to the new subsidy regime but the company remains upbeat that demand in Korea will pick up.

But then again, Tesla uses series-parallel technology to charge batteries at 400V and 800V without an inverter.

Recent insights from a Cybertruck owner shed light on the charging process. The truck takes 40 minutes to reach 80% power, with a sharp decline in charging power from 250kW at 20% to 150kW at 40%, stabilizing around 80kW between 65% and 85%. However, it could be possible that

The concept of wireless charging for Tesla vehicles was hinted at during Tesla’s 2023 Investor Day presentation, where an upcoming Hollywood Supercharger drive-in was showcased, featuring what appeared to be a wireless charging pad in a garage with a Model S parked on it.

The new hands offer 11 degrees of freedom for better handling of sensitive and even delicate objects. The robot offers 2 degrees of freedom neck in addition to foot force/ torque sensing and articulated toe sections mimicking the human foot.

The various improvements give the Optimus Gen 2 a truly human look. It can be used for a wide variety of applications and its AI functionality is also important.

The Optimus Gen 2 humanoid robot features actuators and sensors with integrated circuits and harnessing. There is a 10kg weight reduction of the Optimus Gen 2 compared to the previous model. The robot has better balance and control of the entire body of the robot. Tesla is showcasing the posture control improvements with a dancing robots duo. The robot’s speed bump is demonstrated with a catwalk before a Cybertruck lineup.

The Optimus Gen 2 video was posted on X (formerly Twitter) and highlighted several parts of the robot. The video even showed the robot deftly handling eggs and underscored the improvements of the new model. Tesla has not provided any definitive information on the release date and price of the Optimus Gen 2.

Tesla Cybertruck Pricing

The American EV maker even announced the Cybertruck’s performance specs and model options at the event. Entry level versions features a single motor rear wheel drive that will have you shell out 60,999 US Dollars. Technically, incentives and an “estimated 3-year gas savings” means that buyers are only spending around 49,890 US Dollars. This model offers up to 250 miles of range and hits 0 to 60 in just 6.5 seconds. The range is also in line with the previous teaser from Marques Brownlee. This model is set to release in 2025.

Moving forward, the mid range model costs 79,990 US Dollars and offers an all wheel drive along with sports e-motors on each axle. The version offers 340 miles of range and an impressive 0 to 60 in just 4.1 seconds. This is thanks to its 600 HP with 7435 lb-ft of torque. Lastly, we have the top end model, which is aptly dubbed the Cyberbeast.

It comes equipped with three e-motors for all wheel drive, a 320 miles maximum range, and 2.6 seconds to go from 0 to 60MPH. Due to the increasing popularity of electric cars, certain locations may experience additional congestion. In an effort to address this issue, Tesla has announced a new “Congestion Fee” application.

New “Congestion Fee” Application is on The Way for Tesla Users

Have you ever had to wait in line to refuel your car with gasoline? Even if it’s just 20 minutes, it’s likely enough to frustrate you. Now, imagine what happens when this congestion occurs at an electric car charging station, turning frustrating minutes into hours. Tesla aims to solve this situation with its new “Congestion Fee” application.

According to this, if you find yourself at a Supercharger station that Tesla designates as congested at certain times, and your vehicle has reached a specific charge level, the company will charge you a high fee if you choose to continue charging. You will have five minutes from the time you receive the warning to leave the charging station. If you don’t leave within this time frame, you will be considered to have accepted the fee.

Of course, Tesla’s goal with the “Congestion Fee” application is not to take money from you. Instead, if you are one of those who cannot disconnect their car from the charger until it reaches 100%, Tesla gently encourages you to let go of this obsession. In doing so, the company aims to prevent people from waiting unnecessarily and causing delays for others in line.

Currently, Tesla is implementing the “Congestion Fee” application only in the United States. The current tariff is set at $1 per minute when the charge is above 90%. Tesla explains this decision by stating, “We do not want customers without urgency to occupy the station. A customer never leaves their vehicle at the pump at a gas station, and the same principle applies to Superchargers.”

The introduction of this change comes after Tesla’s decision to open its Superchargers to other electric vehicle brands. By 2024, the company plans to share its stations with brands such as BMW, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota, and Volvo, increasing the pressure on the charging network.

Tesla has launched the ‘S3XY Time Glow Clock’, a new product that combines a clock with a display screen. The clock has multiple display modes and can be customized, making it a versatile addition to any home. Let’s talk about it in detail in this story.

Tesla S3XY Time Glow Clock

The S3XY Time Glow Clock is inspired by the classic glow clock design, with six IPS color screens installed in six quartz glass covers. The clock’s base is made of aluminum alloy and houses a speaker and a Type-C port. 

The top of the clock has a control button for easy operation. As for the dimensions, it measures 204mm in length, 68mm in width, and 70mm in height and weighs 475 grams.

The clock comes with six built-in digital dial sets, five of which can be customized. Users can upload their own images to create a personalized clock face. The clock supports two sets of 12 (6×2) custom images and audio playback in static picture mode.

Likewise, the Time Glow Clock is equipped with a high-precision RTC clock chip and supports Wi-Fi network timing. This ensures that the clock always displays the accurate time. The clock also has a built-in cool dynamic screensaver mode and an independent CODEC audio decoding chip that supports 24-bit high-quality audio output.

The new Tesla S3XY Time Glow Clock is priced at 839 yuan (approximately $120) in China.
