Lenovo Tab M11 schematic reaffirms its design leak from earlier

A couple of months back, an upcoming Lenovo tablet leaked in detail. The report revealed almost everything one has to know about Lenovo Tab M11.

We not only got to learn about its specs but also got to see its design. Following that, the device made its appearance on multiple certification agencies.

Weeks later, It has been spotted online again. Let’s go through the details.

TabletMonkeys have got their hands on a schematic of the upcoming Lenovo Tab M11. Unfortunately, the publication does not mention the source but the image seems to be from a publicly accessible certification listing.

This picture goes in line with the render leak from late September. It showcases the location of antennas meant for connectivity (LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS).

A few weeks back, the tablet was spotted on the websites of several certification bureaus, such as FCC, TÜV Rheinland, and TDRA. These listings did not reveal anything new and only suggested that the launch of the product was nearing.

According to leaks so far, the Lenovo Tab M11 will sport a 10.95-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 207 PPI, and 400 nits peak brightness level. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chip paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The device will arrive with an 8MP + 13MP dual camera setup on the rear and an 8MP front-facing camera. It will house Dolby Atmos-supported quad speakers and feature a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a MicroSD card slot.

The connectivity options on the product will include LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C. It will ship with Android 13 but will be updated until Android 15 and will receive security patches till January 2028.

Last but not least, the Lenovo Tab M11 will be backed by a 7,040mAh battery with support for 10W charging.

Realme has been teasing the arrival of a new 5G phone for the Indian market for the past few days. The brand has finally confirmed today that the said device will be called the Realme C67, and it will be announced at 12 pm (local time) on Dec. 14 in the country.

The official posters released by the brand reveal that the Realme C67 5G will be available in green and black. The device can be seen sporting a round camera module with a 50-megapixel primary camera, an auxiliary camera, and an LED flash inside. The above image also suggests that it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The company has confirmed that the C67 will support 33W fast charging and will be powered by a 5G-enabled 6nm chipset. It will be the first C-series (Champion-series) phone from the brand to support 5G connectivity. Rumors are rife that it could be equipped with the Dimensity 6100+ chipset. The company hasn’t revealed any other details about the device.

Rumors surrounding the C67 5G claim it will be priced between Rs 12,000 and Rs 15,000. It is speculated that the device will be available in RAM variants, such as 4 GB, 6 GB, and 8 GB. All three variants will likely ship with 128 GB of storage.

In related news, Realme is set to launch its more powerful flagship phone, the Realme GT 5 Pro, in China tomorrow (Dec. 7). Reportedly priced at 3,499 Yuan (~$495), the GT 5 Pro will offer specifications such as a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will have other exciting features, including a 50-megapixel LYT-808 main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel IMX890 periscope telephoto camera, 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 5,400mAh battery, Realme UI 5-based Android 14, and 50W wireless charging.

The president of the Honor product line has hinted at satellite communication support in the upcoming flagship, expected to debut with the Magic 6. Xiaomi, too, has been rumored to be testing satellite communication capabilities. Although, it is unknown whether the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will pack this feature.

It’s not only mainstream phone brands delving into this innovative space. In November, China Telecom introduced the Tianyi Bolton S9, a 5G satellite dual-mode communication phone priced at 4599 yuan (~$650). This device comes equipped with a built-in satellite antenna, adopting the conventional phone form factor without the need to change SIM cards or numbers. The Tianyi Bolton S9 integrates China’s self-developed Tiantong satellite mobile communication system, supporting two-way Tiantong satellite voice communication and ensuring uninterrupted nationwide communication.

Vivo‘s move to test satellite communication in the X100 Pro+ suggests a growing interest for this feature among both manufacturers and consumers. With various players in the industry actively exploring this technology, it is expected to become a standard feature in mobile devices in the near future.

Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 14 series and the Redmi Note 13 series in the Chinese market in the recent months. Now, the brand is reportedly gearing up to launch these devices in the global market. As per a report, global variants of the Xiaomi 14, Redmi Note 13 4G, and the Poco X6 5G have received approval from Indonesia’s SDPPI certification platform.

The above screenshot shows that the devices bearing 23122PCDIG and 23127PN0CG model numbers have been approved by the SDPPI. The listing confirms that these devices will be marketed as the Poco X6 5G and the Xiaomi 14.

The 23124RA7EO has also appeared in SDPPI’s database. While the listing has not revealed the name of the device, it is speculated to be called the Redmi Note 13 4G when it arrives on the market. It is speculated that the 23117RA68G and 23129RAA4G model numbers are also associated with the same device, probably aimed at markets. As per the FCC certification, the 23124RA7EO variants support NFC connectivity, while the others lack support for it.

At present, there is no concrete information available on the core specifications of the Redmi Note 13 4G. As far as the Xiaomi 14 is concerned, its variant heading to the global market is likely to have the same specs as its Chinese edition, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

The Poco X6 5G was recently spotted with specs such as the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 13 in Geekbench’s database. These specs suggest that it may arrive as a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G available in the Chinese market.

Acer Predator Orion X compact PC feat. RTX 4090 & i9-13900KS hits store shelves in EU & UK

Back in April, Acer unveiled the Predator Orion X compact gaming PC that packing top of the line hardware. Although the desktop PC was supposed to arrive in September, it has just now made its way to store shelves in the UK and EU.

The Predator Orion X PC comes with a distinctive three-zone design. In Zone 1, the largest section, the CPU, memory, and NVMe SSDs are housed. Zone 2 accommodates the graphics card and additional storage slots, while Zone 3 is dedicated to cooling.

The Acer Predator Orion X offers configuration options with Intel processors, including the Core i9-13900KS, Core i7-13700K, and Core i5-13400. Notably, the Core i5-13600K is not included in the available options. Graphics card choices comprise Nvidia options such as the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, GeForce RTX 4080, and GeForce RTX 4090, with no AMD SKUs offered.

Key features of the Acer Predator Orion X include up to 64 GB of DDR5 5600 MT/s RAM and a 2 TB M.2 SSD. Additionally, it provides a hot-swappable NVMe SSD slot and 2.5-inch drive slots for expandable storage. The desktop is equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5G Ethernet. In the Eurozone, the base configuration of the PC starts at €2,499, featuring a Core i7-13700 processor, RTX 4070 Ti GPU, a 1 TB SSD, and 16 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Predator Orion X is priced at £3,799 in the UK, offering a configuration with a Core i9-13900KS processor, RTX 4080 GPU, 32 GB of RAM, and a 2 TB SSD.

The Transparent Labcoat, which draws inspiration from the IBM factory floor of the 1970s, is the first item in the London-based tech brand’s apparel line. The Labcoat features a regular fit, thigh length, multiple pockets with zip closures, a back bottom hem vent for mobility, an adjustable waist with a drawstring on the inside, and a hanger loop at the back neck.

It also incorporates eco-friendly elements, such as YKK Natulon zippers made from recycled materials and 100 percent biodegradable plant-based packaging. It will be available in four sizes: small, medium, large, and extra-large.

In addition to the Labcoat, Nothing is also offering the Transparent Cap as its second clothing product. It comes in only one size and is designed to complement the Labcoat.

Developed in collaboration with Teenage Engineering, Nothing Apparel emphasizes quality-driven wardrobe staples built to withstand the test of time, including caps, coats, tracksuits, and more.

The iQOO Neo 9 series of sub-flagship phones is expected to launch this month in China. However, the brand is still silent on its launch date. The lineup is expected to include the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro as the successors to the Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro, respectively. According to reports, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets will power these devices, respectively. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared the key specifications of the Neo 9 Pro.

According to the leaker, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. The screen will also offer a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Like the iQOO 12 series, the Neo 9 Pro will arrive with OriginOS 4-based Android 14.

The Dimensity 9300-powered Neo 9 Pro is expected to ship with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, though specific details about RAM and storage configurations remain undisclosed by the tipster. Although the exact battery size is not mentioned, the Neo 9 Pro is said to support 120W fast charging. For an enhanced experience while gaming, the device will ship with iQOO’s self-developed Q1 chip, which is also available in the iQOO 12 series.

LG Electronics has listed the 34WQ500-B UltraWide Monitor on its official website in Germany. The listing of the monitor indicates its launch may be imminent. The LG 34WQ500-B is compatible with AMD Freesync and can be used as a gaming monitor.

Features

The LG 34WQ500-B UltraWide Monitor has a 34-inch full HD IPS display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It is noted that the model has already gone on sale in the US since it was announced last year. The UltraWide Monitor supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 with a typical brightness of 400 cd/sq.meter. The contrast ratio of the monitor is 1,000:1 with a 99% coverage of the sRGB color gamut. The monitor offers a wide 178º viewing angle and a screen resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels. It is up to a third (33%) wider than a standard FHD screen.

The LG 34WQ500-B Monitor has a 1ms Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) which delivers a smoother image. However, when AMD Freesync is enabled, MBR cannot be used. The monitor has a GtG response time of 5ms and a display refresh rate of 100Hz. In terms of sound, the LG UltraWide Monitor has two in-built 7W stereo speakers with MaxxAudio. The monitor has a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. It also has an HDMI IN port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Expected Pricing

Apart from its listing and some of its specs, LG has not provided the release optics for the 34WQ500-B Monitor in Germany. The price of the model has also not been released. In the US, the LG 34WQ500-B UltraWide Monitor is priced at $329.99 and the European price could be marginally different from this. The model could also find its way to other EU markets apart from Germany.

The EarFun Free Pro 3 earbuds come with a mix of features for optimal performance. The model comes with a refreshed QCC 3072 Qualcomm audio chip that energizes the aptX Adaptive Audio codec. The latest Fiat electric vehicle is the 2024 Fiat 500e with a range of 149 miles. The new EV takes a cue from its iconic gasoline-powered city car with an affordable price tag. With the price of an average city EV hovering around $50,000, the Fiat 500e is quite affordable at $32,500.

An Affordable EV model for those who haven’t got a deep pocket

There is a growing demand for electric vehicles that are affordable in the US. The Fiat 500e will be ready early next year and was unveiled on December 5. The Fiat 500e originally went on sale in Europe in 2020. The Fiat 500e RED edition is the cheapest of the lineup.

Fiat is including an additional $1,595 destination charge for the 2024 Fiat 500e. The average price of an EV, according to the Kelley Blue Book, is $51,762 as of October 2023. Fiat says future variants of the 500e will be released in limited quantities. That being said, it is unclear how the market will receive the new Fiat 500e offering with its significantly lower price tag.

The 2024 Fiat 500e has two doors, four seats, and a tiny footprint that can snugly enter tight parking lots. The EV comes with a retro-inspired design with a compact and energy-efficient make-up. However, the new model is slightly longer and wider than its predecessor, thus providing more interior space. The cabin of the Fiat 500e RED is accentuated by red and has a rounded gauge cluster. The dashboard is red and made of shiny plastic. There is a 7-inch driver-facing display and a 10.25-inch center touchscreen. The touchscreen is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless connectivity to your mobile device.

The 2024 Fiat 500e EV has a range of 149 miles thanks to its 42kWh battery pack. The EV will come with a Level 2 charger that can be installed in the customer’s garage. The Level 2 charger can fully recharge the EV’s battery in 4.25 hours when connected to a Level 2 outlet. A DC fast charger can fully recharge the 2024 Fiat 500e within 45 minutes. The car has a 118hp motor with a torque of 162Nm. It can go from 0-60mph in 8.5 seconds and has three drive modes – Normal, Range, and Sherpa. The Sherpa drive mode delivers the EV’s top speed and maximum range.

When the 2024 Fiat 500e is cruising at normal speeds, the vehicle’s Acoustic Alert System (AVAS) sings a song to notify pedestrians of its presence. The system sings a song titled: The Sound of 500, composed by Flavio Ibba-Marco Gualdi. The soothing melody from the 2024 Fiat 500e is a major highlight of the model. As earlier mentioned, the car will be released early next year for $32,500.

Nio is racing to the top of the autonomous EV charging log with the latest PSP update for its lineup. With the update, Nio electric cars can drive themselves to automatic battery swap station queues. A new video showed one of Nio’s EVs driving itself to a battery swap station at night, waiting in the queue, and then entering the bay for a battery swap. The car then drives off after completing the battery swap.

Nio has continued to blaze the trail in the EV industry with several innovations. One of its latest innovations is automatic battery swap stations which completely swap a battery within 3 minutes. Nio remains one of the most dynamic and innovative EV charging companies and the new autonomous swapping demonstrates its bent. Recall that the company earlier this year unveiled its first smartphone.

Currently, Nio has more than 2,000 battery swap stations with some of such stations as part of its collaboration with energy giant Shell. More than 45% of Nio’s battery swap stations offer the 3.0 generation architecture. These innovative swap stations allow for a quick autonomous swap of batteries.

The new feature displayed in the released video is the Power Swap on Pilot (PSP) feature which was part of the latest software update on Nio EVs. The PSP update allows a car with a depleting battery to access a suitable swap station after exiting the high-speed highway. It then goes and changes the battery on its own and exits the swap station to continue its journey.

The new autonomous driving software takes into consideration the final destination and the swap station load. No cars on the NT 2.0 platform can enjoy this feature to provide optimal and seamless battery swaps while on the go. Several EV makers are developing driver assist software that increasingly makes the driver passive on the wheels. The Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta software is rapidly undergoing improvements. Nio expects to be part of the autonomous revolution with its new battery swap autonomous functionality.

Social networking platform WhatsApp is updating its features to allow users to send photos and videos in full quality without compression. This is coming a few months after WhatsApp started allowing users to send photos in 4K resolution. The new functionality will allow WhatsApp users to send complete photos and videos without compressing them. The WhatsApp update berths first with iOS devices before extending to Android subsequently.

Meta (formerly Facebook) has engineered several changes on WhatsApp since August. The 4K resolution feature for sending photos and videos is compatible with WhatsApp version 23.11.0.76 on iOS and version 2.23.12.13 on Android. With the update to WhatsApp version 23.24.73 on Apple, users can now send videos and images completely without compression. The feature works when the user selects Document instead of Photo and Video Library. The upload is limited to a maximum size of 2GB. The Android version of the upgrade is expected to roll out soon. Apple iPhone owners will see the new update within days, while the Android version may come after several weeks.

The latest WhatsApp version also introduces new speech bubbles that indicate missed calls and new reactions to messages based on your WhatsApp avatar. There are no indications yet on the full rollout details for the new WhatsApp update in both iOS and Android. It however introduces the option for users to retain the quality of their photos and videos which they send using the WhatsApp platform.

Although WhatsApp has officially announced the new features, some users may receive them earlier than others. The official changelog says that WhatsApp is releasing a feature to start voice chats without ringing everyone in large groups. This is in addition to the bubbles and uncompressed media upload earlier mentioned.

OnePlus is rolling out a new stable update for users in India for the Closed Beta and the Open Beta users first. The update will gradually roll out to other users in the coming time, once it is verified as a bug-free build. However, it is currently limited to users in India and will roll out to other regions in the coming time. The OnePlus 10T already received the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 update a while ago.

The firmware CPH2413_14.0.0.202(EX01) is available for OnePlus 10T users, featuring all-new luxuries of Android 14 and some extra features on the top like icing over the cake. It brings Cross-device connectivity and enhances efficiency with features like File Dock, Smart Cutout, and Content Extraction.

Further, it offers improved security and privacy with a better permission management system for photos and video. Other changes include Aquamorphic design, Performance Optimization, and Pantanal Service. Below is the official changelog:

Infinix Hot 40i packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging capability. Bundling a side fingerprint sensor, the smartphone confirms quick authentication. It measures 163.5 x 75.59 x 8.30 mm and weighs only 190 grams. It is also available in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, or Starfall Green.
