Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be the first to adopt titanium frame
South Korean publication The Elec citing unnamed sources revealed that Samsung will join the bandwagon of introducing a titanium frame on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This was done first by Apple on this year’s iPhone 15 Pro models. Later Xiaomi also joined the Cupertino-based tech giant as it offered the Xiaomi 14 Pro in a Titanium Special Edition.
The report adds that next year’s Galaxy S24 Ultra will be the first device to sport a titanium material. Based on how well it is received, the company may eventually adopt the same on other models. The latest development refutes last month’s report that claimed the entire Galaxy S24 series will come with a titanium frame. The South Korean brand has also set a tentative goal to manufacture 15 million titanium frames initially which matches the sales number of Galaxy S23 Ultra units. This potentially indicates that the company may indeed introduce titanium on the S24 Ultra model only.
