ASYNC has opened an Indiegogo campaign for the H7 XC hybrid electric bicycle. The ASYNC H7 X6 has an assistance range of 125 miles and comes with a carbon fiber frame with greater durability. The e-bike is equipped with a 500W motor and offers up to 130Nm of torque.

The ASYNC H7 XC is an all-in-one e-bike designed for both on- and off-road rides. Its 500W mid-mounted motor provides a top assistance speed of 28mph (~45km/h). The e-bike is equipped with speed and torque sensors that ensure optimal power delivery that pairs pedaling effort with the engine output. There are five assistance modes in the H7 XC hybrid e-bike. The e-bike has a removable 960Wh battery that accounts for a range of 125 miles with pedal assistance. The range of the H7 XC is 50 miles when using just the throttle.

The H7 XC has a Suntour XCR 120mm Air Suspension Fork, a Shimano Deore 11s Shifter Set, and 27.5 x 2.5-inch Maxxis Aggressor tires. The e-bike’s carbon fiber frame and handlebars help to minimize vibrations while riding and keep the bike lightweight. The bike weighs about 26.3kg and can be linked to your smartphone for several app-based actions. These include a Digital Key, Auto Unlock, Vehicle Alarm, Cycling Data and Record, and GPS tracking.

The ASYNC H7 XC can be pledged via Indiegogo for $3,399 and the product is expected to ship by December 2023. The ASYNC H7 hybrid e-bike is available to the global audience and its original price is $3,999. The ASYNC H7 XC e-bike Indiegogo campaign has already surpassed its $5,000 target.

The steamer is also equipped with an intelligent display knob, water shortage, and temperature control sensors. The device therefore provides early warning to prevent the dry burning of food.

The Xiaomi MIJIA smart electric steamer 12L is priced at 269 yuan (~$37). The crowdfunding target and duration information are not known at this time. Xiaomi has also not released any global availability information for the product.

These phones are expected to start at a price of 2,999 yuan ($410) and will likely offer mid-range 5G capabilities thanks to the Kirin 830 processor. Huawei aims to strike a balance between affordability and high-end features, potentially including satellite phone capabilities and advanced imaging functions.

Now a tipster named Moor Sky on Weibo has shared additional information, including detailed specifications, by releasing a spec chart for both the Nova 12 and Nova 12 Pro smartphones. This chart provides insights into the technical specifications and features of both upcoming phones, offering valuable details for those interested in these models.

So, what can we expect from the standard version of the Huawei Nova 12? It’s rumored to sport a second-generation Kunlun glass curved screen with a super-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Nova 12 will be powered by Kirin 830 chipset.

The camera setup is said to include a powerful 50-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel wide-angle macro lens. On the front, it may have a front camera with a whopping 60-megapixel portrait ultra-wide-angle lens. Powering it all is a substantial 4,800mAh battery with support for speedy 88W wired fast charging.

As for the Pro variant of the Nova 12 series, it’s expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and the same 12-megapixel wide-angle macro lens found in the standard version. Samsung has unveiled a new memory module named Low Power Compression Attached Memory Module or LPCAMM. Samsung states that the new LPCAMM modules can achieve up to 7.5 gigabits-per-second of memory throughput, which is 50% more than the current SO-DIMM memory modules.

Furthermore, LPCAMM modules consume 70% less power, which can enhance battery life in laptops and other mobile devices. Additionally, they accomplish all of this while taking up 60% less space. The smaller size of LPCAMM memories could lead to the development of thinner and lighter laptops.

Samsung says that LPCAMM modules could also be used in other types of mobile devices, such as tablets and smartphones. The company has not yet announced when LPCAMM modules will be available to consumers. Look out for the Beta program option, and if you meet the eligibility criteria, the update will be rolled out to your device, which you can then install by heading back to “Settings,” selecting “About device,” and hitting “Download Now.”

For North American OnePlus fans, it’s a bit different. You’ll have to first, download both the zip package and APK file from the official OnePlus source. Install the APK file, then tap the gear icon in the top right corner. Find the zip package in your phone’s storage and install it. After your phone restarts, you’ll have OxygenOS 14 Beta 2 up and running.

It is worth pointing out that this software is not stable and could cause issues on your device. There are already some known issues that you should look at before jumping to an update.

Google is reportedly working on a new feature called the Performance Panel for Chrome on Windows 11 and macOS. The panel will likely allow users to track their browser’s memory and CPU usage, as well as the performance of individual tabs.

Google has been working on several performance-related changes for Chrome recently, including new tab discard controls and more. The Performance Panel is likely a part of the company’s broader strategy to highlight the efficiency, speed, and security of its browser.

In a post on the Chromium bug forum, a Google engineer noted that the final stages of designing the new panel are underway and that the team is “working on finalizing the design for the contents of the new performance side panel and need to prototype how the different performance cards will be displayed. To simplify prototyping, we are checking in the scaffolding for a blank side panel.”

Folks at Windowslatest believe that the Performance Panel is similar to the browser essentials feature in Microsoft Edge. One of the key features of the Performance Panel is likely to be Memory Saver. When enabled, this feature will prioritize resources towards active tabs, ensuring that Chrome only uses memory when it is actively being used.

For example, if you have multiple tabs of Instagram open in Chrome, but you have been using the YouTube tab for the past few minutes, Chrome will temporarily release memory from the non-active Instagram tabs. The freed memory would then be shared across YouTube and other browser features.

The Performance Panel could also include a battery efficiency feature. When the user’s device battery level drops to 20%, Google Chrome would proactively prompt the user to activate a battery-saving mode.

These are all features that come with Edge’s browser essentials. And it is encouraging to see Google working on similar features for Chrome, as it will give users more control over how their browser uses resources. This could help to improve battery life, performance, and overall user experience.

The Sony Play Station 5 Cricket 24 Bundle comes with Play Station 5, a DualSense Wireless Controller, and a digital voucher for the Game of Cricket. The game can be available for download via the voucher code for Indian buyers. However, the game brings some exciting graphics and features and is “the most complete video game simulation of cricket seen to date.” There are two modes – cross-platform multiplayer and career mode. It offers gameplay in several models including the Ashes mode. There will be 200+ players with full details and can play different leagues like Weber WBL, The Hundred, The CaribbeanPremier League, etc.

The game will launch on October 5, and the users will get access to the new PS5 bundle before that. The official pricing details are not yet live, but expect it to align with the pricing of the recently launched PS5 FC 24 Bundle which is priced at Rs 59,390, but is actually retailing for Rs 48,190 comprising introductory discounts. With electric vehicles (EVs) gaining traction, Polestar is making sure its upcoming Polestar 3 mid-size SUV is prepared for any climate. The company recently wrapped up an extreme hot weather test in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), signaling that the SUV’s development is entering its final stages.

Three Prototypes Display Cars are available for Public Viewing

Last July, the Polestar 3 had its dynamic debut at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed. However, Polestar didn’t stop there; the prototypes were immediately flown to the UAE for rigorous testing in scorching conditions. With temperatures soaring up to 122°F (50°C), the vehicles were driven around the bustling cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well as the surrounding deserts.

The aim? To fine-tune the SUV’s climate system to ensure optimal performance in some of the world’s hottest environments. According to Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar’s CEO, this is just one of several extreme weather tests the vehicle will undergo before hitting the market. “The development and testing program is progressing well, and production will start in the first quarter of 2024,” Ingenlath stated.

While the production timeline might seem distant, the Polestar 3 is already making its presence felt across global retail spaces. Three prototype display cars are available for public viewing in 27 different markets, aiming to stir interest and anticipation. Test drive models are expected to follow in 2024.

Pricing for the U.S. market starts at $85,300, which includes a Long-range Dual motor. A Performance pack is also available for an additional $6,000. The pricing doesn’t include potential incentives like the federal tax credit of $7,500, for which the SUV should be eligible. For those eager to reserve their Polestar 3, a fully refundable deposit of $1,000 can secure your order online. US deliveries are projected to begin in the second quarter of 2024, making it likely that the Polestar 3 will be available as a 2025 model.

Reddit’s Contributor Program will Let Users Earn Real Money from Online Interactions

Reddit, a platform with over 50 million daily active users, has launched a Contributor Program. Now, users in the United States, including moderators, can earn real money for their content and contributions. Monthly payouts are based on the karma and gold received by the user.

Here’s how it works: Users can click on “Get Verified to Start Earning” from their Reddit profile to join the program. There are two earning categories: “standard contributors” earn 90 cents per gold, while “top contributors” earn $1 per gold. To qualify as a standard contributor, you need at least 10 gold and a karma score between 100 to 4,999 from the past year. For top contributors, the requirement is 10 gold and over 5,000 karma.

In addition to this, Reddit has updated its gold system. Users can long-press the upvote icon to choose from six different gold awarding options, starting at $1.99 for one gold, all the way up to $49.00 for 25 gold.

This move aligns Reddit with other platforms like Facebook and Instagram, which have similar user monetization tactics. However, the new system might shift user focus towards content that earns gold and karma, possibly affecting the platform’s quality of discussion. Vivo V29 Pro launching in India on October 4

Vivo has already teased the V29 series’ launch in India and it has been colloquially confirmed the lineup will debut on October 4. Reports have suggested the arrival of two new phones— Vivo V29 and Vivo 29 Pro. And now it has been revealed the Pro model is indeed launching on the same day as the standard version.

GSMArena has posted a press note shared by Vivo, which specifically mentions the Vivo V29 series is launching on October 4 at 12 PM. In addition, the outlet revealed Vivo V29 Pro will be announced on the same day and will be sold in the country through Vivo’s official Indian website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores.

The handset will be available in the country in three colors— Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black. And the red color also changes color. Vivo V29 Pro will also bring an Aura Light LED flash with color temperature adjustments as well as an India-exclusive Wedding mode photography feature.

The rear camera setup for the Vivo V29 Pro comprises a 50MP primary camera with OIS support (Sony IMX766) and a 12MP portrait camera (Sony IMX663) with 2x optical zoom capabilities. It is said to be offered with 8 or 12GB of RAM (with additional up to 8GB of virtual RAM) and 256GB of onboard storage.

Vivo V29 Pro should be powered by a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, capable of reaching a 50% charge in just 18 minutes and a full charge in 50 minutes. The pricing details and the rest of the specifications are yet to be revealed.
