OnePlus debuted its maiden tablet in India a couple of months ago (here’s its review), and now the company is eyeing its second tablet – the OnePlus Pad Go launch in India. The upcoming tablet is set to entertain the mid-range market with its high-end display and specifications. Following the trend from the past few days, OnePlus has teased its display features on the official product landing page on the OnePlus website.

The company confirms the presence of a 2.4K display resolution for a better viewing experience. In a recent interview, OnePlus President and COO, Kinder Liu also shed some light on the device’s display specifications. He confirmed a 7:5 aspect ratio panel which is quite similar to the OnePlus Pad.

There are sparse details about the technical details of the OnePlus Pad Go, but it is confirmed to be affordable and will budge competition in the mid-range segment.

OnePlus Pad Go is expected to launch in a “Twin Mint” color finish which offers both matte and glossy finish.

The possibility for the 3.5mm jack is quite low; Meanwhile, it will ship with Android 13-based OxygenOS 13. OnePlus Pad Go will offer some exciting features that will enhance the sync between your OnePlus phone and tablet. The users would be able to sync clipboard content, and share files easily, and will offer the ability to use hotspots directly from the tablet. Other features such as screen mirroring, notifications sync, and call management will be part of the OnePlus Pad Go.

It is launching on September 22 in India and is likely to carry a price tag of around Rs 30,000 (~$240).

In December, the company is expected to take off covers from the Redmi K70e, the Redmi K70, and the Redmi K70 Pro. In 2024, the company is expected to announce the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, MIX Fold 4, and MIX Flip 4 in the first half of 2024. A new report reveals that a Civi-branded phone will also debut within the same timeframe.

GSMChina has come across a new Xiaomi device with model number 24031PN0DC in the GSMA IMEI database. While the listing does not mention the name of the device, the publication claims that it is the Xiaomi Civi 4.

The report claims that, like the predecessor CIVI models, the Civi 4 will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. The “2403” digits in the model code hint that the device may launch in March 2024 in China. Like the existing Civi phones, the Civi 4 will be a female-focused smartphone.

Hence, it is expected to arrive with a beautiful design, a powerful chipset, and impressive selfie and rear cameras. According to reports, a brand-new Qualcomm chip with the part number SM7550 powers the device. Rumors have it that the chip will be called the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 when it breaks cover.

Unfortunately, details about the remaining specifications of the Xiaomi Civi 4 are not known yet. In Chinese culture, the number 4 is associated with bad luck, so there’s a possibility that Xiaomi might opt to name the device the Xiaomi Civi 5 instead. Redmi is teasing features of the upcoming Remdi Note 13 series via its official handles on Weibo. A lot has been revealed officially by these teasers in recent weeks. Meanwhile, two new smartphone models – 2312DRAABI, and 2312FRAFDI which allegedly belong to the Redmi Note 13 series have surfaced on India’s BIS certification.

The listing didn’t reveal anything, but by decoding the model numbers we found that the smartphones are slated for launch by the end of this year. Some users are expecting the Redmi Note 13 to bit early to compensate for the insignificant sales by its predecessor in the ongoing fiscal year. Surprisingly, the new series is launching in China on September 21. However, nothing is official about the two models, so we suggest taking these with a grain of salt in the ocean.

There are already plenty of rumors and leaks about the Redmi Note 13 series carrying different model numbers. We have extracted the specification details to better understand what to expect from the upcoming Redmi Note series.

Redmi Note 13 Series Specs

Redmi confirmed the launch of three different models including Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro+, and Redmi Note 13 Yibo edition. The smartphone will likely embed into the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Redmi Note 13 Pro, respectively.

The Redmi Note 3 Pro will bundle an FHD+ display carrying an in-display fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is likely to pack a curved display of curved display offering 1800 nits peak brightness, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and DC dimming.

As per recent leaks, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Series packs a 200MP Samsung HP3 Discovery edition as the primary sensor. The Pro Plus variant would come with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).

The Redmi Note 13 Pro will house a 5000 mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plyus will house a 5120 mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

The pricing details are not available, but we expect the series to start retailing at ~$170. The smartphones will launch by the end of this year, but we expect it to launch in India next month due to the upcoming festive season.

Itel, the affordable smartphone maker owned by Transsion Holdings (the parent company behind Infinix and Tecno), is ready to launch a new smartphone in India called the Itel P55. Notably, it is expected to be the country’s only 5G-enabled smartphone priced under Rs. 10,000 (approximately $125).

Itel is yet to reveal the launch date for the upcoming smartphone but has confirmed it will bring 5G to the masses. The under Rs. 10,000 market in India does not have many great options. You get to choose from a few Redmi and Poco smartphones. Some Samsung phones, like the Galaxy F04 and Galaxy M13, are also available in the same range but none of them support 5G. Itel wants to change that with the Itel P55.

We are not sure what specifications this phone will bring. The teaser image shared by the brand showcases a dual camera system on the back but that’s about it. As a budget phone, Itel P55 might bring a lower-end Unisoc processor, paired with a 5,000mAh battery. An official announcement should be around the corner.

The Itel P55 will follow the launch of the Itel S23+, which debuted earlier this month with a large 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved display, featuring a 59-degree curvature. This device also features a Unisoc T616 (12nm) processor, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.0 storage. The Itel S23+ is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging support and boasts a 50MP primary camera setup on the rear.

Oppo recently launched the A2 Pro in China with some premium specifications, including a 120Hz OLED display, Dimensity 7050 SoC, and 64MP camera setup, and more. The company might also be gearing up to launch two new phones in the A series, dubbed Oppo A2x and A2m. These two phones have been recently spotted on the TENAA certification website with similar specifications. Here are the details.

The Oppo A2m was spotted on TENAA with model number PJU110, while the A2x has been labeled PJS110. Both these phones are reportedly for the Chinese market. We see the handsets adopt a familiar design, featuring two rings on the back and what looks like a waterdrop notch on the front.

They both feature a 6.56-inch LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. Both phones are listed by the authority with a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, however, the exact name of the chipset is anyone’s guess.

The SoC on the two phones will likely be paired with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of internal storage. Both Oppo A2x and A2m are listed on TENAA with a 5,000mAh battery but their charging capabilities remain unknown. On the software, the OPPO A2x and A2m will run Android 13, likely with a layer of ColorOS 13 on top. As far as the cameras are concerned, both models get a 5MP shooter on the front with a 13MP primary sensor on the rear.

Officially, Oppo is yet to reveal anything about the two smartphones. Judging from the specifications, they look like budget phones priced under $150. More details should emerge soon. Stay tuned!

Renowned Chinese tipster reveals more details of the Redmi Note 13 series ahead of launch

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi recently confirmed that it would be launching the next-generation Redmi Note 13 series later this week. The company has also confirmed the presence of three models in the series – Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, and Redmi Note 13 Yibo Edition. However, the company has been silent about the vanilla Redmi Note 13 which may be announced at a later date.

Chinese tech blogger Digital Chat Station has shared further details of the Redmi Note 13 series. The tipster confirmed that the models will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The new chipset will be built on Samsung 4nm silicon and features four large cores with a clock frequency of 2.4GHz as well as four energy-efficient cores clocked at 1.95GHz each. The chip is also equipped with an X62 modem and FastConnect 6700 connection system, as well as three 12-bit ISPs that support up to 200 MP shooting. The Octa-core chipset also pairs with an Adreno GPU.

The entire Redmi Note 13 series will also have an eye-protecting flexible screen without plastic brackets. The Redmi Note 13 Pro is said to feature a flat screen while the Note 13 Pro+ will reportedly pack a curved screen. A lot of manufacturers prioritize sustainability and environmental awareness and the Naon Lucy scooter exemplifies this. The scooter is made from recycled materials in an environmentally friendly production process.

The company, Naon underpins its strategy based on functionality, aesthetics, and local production. It employs its workforce entirely from Germany and uses materials sourced locally for its production. Naon previously unveiled the Zero-One prototype with some exciting features. Naon has made substantial progress in the development of its first scooter and the Lucy is a production-ready model.

The Naon Lucy has a hub motor that can output a maximum of 7kW power and 200Nm torque. The battery pack consists of a 5.2kWh unit under the scooter’s floorboard. The battery can deliver up to 160km of range on a full charge. The Naon Lucy scooter has a lightweight aluminum frame and features an ABS disc brake system. It has larger wheels than the Zero-One prototype, as well as a new single-sided swingarm, a rear strut wishbone suspension system, and a double-bridge fork. The low-mounted battery pack of the Lucy translates to its being more stable and having a lower center of gravity.

The Naon Lucy scooter will reportedly come in two versions – one classified as an L1e electric moped or an L3e light motorcycle. The top speed of the two versions is 45km/h and 100km/h respectively. The prices of the L1e and L3e versions of the Naon Lucy are around $5,270 and $6,877 respectively.

Google’s Tensor G4 may have minor upgrades over Tensor G3

Google is collaborating with Samsung’s System LSI department to develop the Tensor G4 chip, codenamed Zuma Pro. According to a report by Android Authority, this chip is closely based on Samsung’s Exynos 2400 and is expected to deliver slightly improved performance compared to its predecessor, the nine-core Tensor G3 chip.

The Tensor G3 chip codenamed Zuma is being developed with input from Samsung’s Exynos 2300 chip, which has not been released yet. During the development phase, the G3 chip is being tested on a “Ripcurrent” board, while the G4 chip utilizes a “Ripcurrent Pro” board.

In 2025, Google aims to launch the Pixel 10 smartphone featuring the fully custom-designed Tensor G5 chip. A significant shift in the manufacturing process involves moving from Samsung to TSMC for producing the Tensor G5 chip. This marks Google’s ambitious step toward creating a unique chip for its future devices.

According to past reports, Google is set to release the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones, featuring the Tensor G3 chip, on October 4, 2023. These phones will boast improved designs and upgraded cameras.

Both models will include larger ISOCELL GN2 main camera sensors. Additionally, the Pixel 8 Pro will have a 64MP ultra-wide-angle camera, while the Pixel 8 will feature a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The Pixel 8 Pro is reported to include a 48MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom capabilities.

A set of road test spy photos of the new BYD Qin PLUS were exposed, revealing a refreshed look with a blackened front face and other sporty details. The new Qin PLUS continues the overall design of the on-sale model, but the blackened grille and front bumper give it a more aggressive look.

From the picture, the front face of the new vehicle has been blacked out, using a black grille with a black front bumper. The car is equipped with two-tone multi-spoke wheels on the side, which is more in line with the sporty style of this car.
