FCC Certification Hints at Upcoming Surface Laptop Go 3 or Surface Go 4

FCChas certified a new Microsoft device, which is rumored to be the next-generation Surface Laptop Go 3 or Surface Go 4. The FCC listing doesn’t reveal much about the device, but it does confirm that it’s real and that it’s coming soon. The laptop is listed under the model number C3K-2067, and it’s described as a “portable computing device” with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The listing also includes a diagram of the device, which shows that it has a similar design to the Surface Laptop Go 2. The Surface Laptop Go 2 was released in 2021. It’s powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and it has a 12.4-inch touchscreen display. The Surface Laptop Go 3 or Surface Go 4 is expected to have similar specifications, but it could also get some upgrades, such as a faster processor or more RAM.

The next-generation Surface Laptop Go could get a few upgrades, such as a larger storage option, a longer battery life, or a refreshed design. However, it’s also possible that the device will have the same specifications as the Surface Laptop Go 2. If Microsoft can deliver on these expectations, the next-generation Surface Laptop Go could be a great option for most people and I might definitely consider ditching the Mac.

Ulefone has announced the Armor 22 rugged smartphone’s launch date and price. The new Ulefone smartphone comes with a 6.58-inch display with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a large 6,000mAh battery that can be recharged at 33W speeds.

The Ulefone Armor 22 is coming on the heels of the earlier release of the Ulefone Armor 23 Ultra. Ulefone has previously unveiled the Armor 22 but has not provided its release details. The Armor 22 is powered by the MediaTek Hello G96 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB of expandable storage. There are three card slots in the Armor 22 for MicroSD card expansion and two Nano SIM cards.

The Ulefone Armor 22 has a rugged design and its 6.58-inch screen is well protected. The smartphone is rated IP68 and IP69K for dust and water protection. The smartphone is also MIL-STD-810G compliant. The Armor 22 has a 64MP primary camera together with a night vision camera. The Ulefone Armor 22 features a large battery of 6,000mAh capacity. The battery supports 33W wired charging only.

While Ulefone has reported some rugged characteristics of the Armor 22, it is yet to be put through the paces of a durability test. The Ulefone Armor 22 will be available from September 18 at a starting price of $299.99. The 256GB variant of the Armor 22 is priced at $319.99. The two variants will however launch with a 50% discount at 07:00 UTC.

Both models are available for under 2,000 Yuan ($300). Other trends in the Chinese gaming monitor market include the growing popularity of 2K and 4K resolutions, as well as HDR support.

According to a leak, A17 Pro is only slightly faster than the A16 Bionic, with a 10% improvement in single-core performance. Here are the details…

iPhone 15 Pro’s A17 Pro Benchmarks: Single-Core Improvement Falls Short of Expectations

According to a Geekbench benchmark, the A17 Pro has a single-core score of 2914, which is only 10% higher than the A16 Bionic’s score of 2655. The multi-core score is also only slightly higher, at 7199 compared to the A16 Bionic’s 6952. These results are a bit surprising, given that Apple had previously claimed that the A17 Pro would be up to 20% faster than the A16 Bionic. However, it’s possible that Apple was referring to the GPU performance, which is really 20% faster.

However, that’s normal that considering the fundamental differences between the two processors. For example the A17 Pro has a 6-core GPU, compared to the A16 Bionic’s 5-core GPU. The A17 Pro is also more power-efficient than the A16 Bionic, which could lead to better battery life. However, it’s too early to say for sure how the A17 Pro will perform in the real world.

It’s also worth noting that the A17 Pro is still a very new chip, and it’s possible that it will improve over time with software updates. So, it’s too early to say definitively whether or not the A17 Pro is a disappointment. Moreover, the A17 Pro has a new neural engine that is twice as fast as the previous generation, and it also supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing. This could make the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max better for gaming and augmented reality applications.

So, what does this mean for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max? Well, they will still be among the fastest smartphones on the market, but they may not be as much of a leap forward as some people were expecting. Therefore, if you are an iPhone 14 Pro Max user like me, or if you have one of the other current models, you may want to wait for the iPhone 16 series to upgrade your phone.

Earlier today, Motorola launched the Edge 40 Neo smartphone in Europe. The smartphone features a high refresh rate, a Full HD OLED display, and a Dimensity 7030 chip. It is set to launch in India on September 21. Ahead of the launch, the price point of the smartphone has been tipped.

As per a post by Mukul Sharma on X (formerly Twitter), the tipster has revealed that the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will be priced at less than Rs 25000 in India. For context, the smartphone costs 399 Euros in the EU (Rs. 35,530). Compared to that, the rumored Indian price is actually quite attractive.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is a mid-range smartphone sporting a 6.55-inch curved FHD+ pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The government’s lawsuit says Google typically pays $10 billion every year to Apple, Samsung, and Mozilla for it to be pre-installed as the default search engine in their devices and browsers.
