After launching the Galaxy Tab S9 series of tablets, it is clear that Samsung is working on two other tablets which will launch as part of the Fan Edition. Reports suggest that they will be called the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Tab S9 FE+. Leaks have revealed the tablets will have quite a steep price in India. Now, it looks like the same might be the case for the EU.

According to a recent report by SamInsider, retail listings suggest that the Tab S9 FE+ (Wifi) may have a starting price of 749.99 EUR for its base model with 128GB storage and 8GB of RAM. On the other hand, the standard Tab S9 FE (Wifi) is expected to begin at 549.99 EUR for the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. In India, the Galaxy S9 FE is rumored to start at around ₹63,000 which roughly translates to 705 EUR.

For this price, it is said that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will come with a Samsung Exynos 1380 chipset and a 10.9-inch LCD display.

It would be interesting to see if these prices will push customers towards the more premium Galaxy Tab S9, or a discounted Tab S8 which features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and an 11-inch LPTS display with 2560 x 1600 resolution. That being said, these are still unconfirmed reports so we suggest you take it with a grain of salt and wait for the brand’s official announcement.

Samsung India has officially shared on X that the Galaxy A54 is arriving soon in Awesome White color. The tweet has a teaser video that reveals the smartphone’s back panel. It has a similar design as the other color options. The back panel is seen in a White paintjob whereas the side frame has a Silver color look. There are three vertically stacked protruding camera sensors.

Samsung has not revealed the exact availability of the Galaxy A54 Awesome White color option. It is already listed on the brand’s official website in the country but it is listed out of stock. The Awesome White color variant is expected to cost the same as the other models which cost Rs 38,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration and Rs 40,999 for the 8GB + 256GB option.

As for the core specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A54 has a 6.54-inch sAMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is IP67-certified dust and water-resistant. Huawei Watch GT 4 is expected to launch

The teaser for the upcoming Huawei wearable features an image with a watch dial, hinting at a smartwatch. Weibo tipster @Ark, known for tracking Huawei’s releases, believes the new product might be the long-awaited Huawei Watch GT 4 series.

Adding weight to the speculations, in August, various Huawei smartwatch products, including the Huawei Watch GT 4 (PNX-B19, ARA-B19), received Bluetooth SIG certification. This certification often suggests an upcoming public release for these devices.

The upcoming Huawei smartwatches are anticipated to feature Bluetooth 5.2 technology and run on HarmonyOS 4.0 with firmware version 4.0.0.50 (SP1C00M00).

Previously, there were rumors that Apple might ditch the iPhone 15 Pro Max moniker in favor of the iPhone 15 Ultra. In a new development, tipster Majin Bu citing information obtained from his sources reveals that Apple may introduce the iPhone 15 Ultra model. It will be the fifth variant in the lineup. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will pack 6GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage. On the other hand, the Ultra variant will max out at 8GB RAM and 2TB storage. Additionally, it will also feature improved cameras compared to the regular Pro model.

It seems that the higher RAM, storage, and camera improvement are the reasons why it makes sense for Apple to launch the iPhone 15 Ultra. The tipster also added that the Ultra variant could cost $100 more than the Pro Max model. Additionally, some case makers have separated the iPhone 15 Pro Max from the iPhone 15 Pro Ultra.

The cases are expected to have rubber-wrapped edges that are a little darker than the color of the rear “woven” part of the case, as shown in many of the leaked pictures that have circulated online. According to the leaker, “FineWoven” is the name that Apple is expected to give to its new material.

Kosutami previously said that Apple is likely to release a new woven fabric band with a magnetic buckle alongside the Watch Series 9. He now says that the band will be made from the same material as the new line of premium iPhone cases.

Right off the bat, the Withings ScanWatch 2 duo have a timeless design with mechanical hands and a small grayscale OLED display measuring 0.63 inches for showing health metrics and notifications. Both models feature a stainless steel unibody, a rotating crown, and the watch face is shielded by sapphire glass. They are also water-resistant up to 5 meters. The ScanWatch 2 is offered in 38 and 42mm dial sizes whereas the ScanWatch Light comes in a 37mm dimension. Both ScanWatch models are claimed to offer a 30-day battery life.

Coming to the health-centric features, the Withings ScanWatch 2 is equipped with the usual heart rate and SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker, and menstrual cycle monitor. It also packs ECG and is capable of detecting atrial fibrillation via the upgraded 4-channel PPG sensors. The hybrid smartwatch also features a new temperature sensor with a TempTech 24/7 module for analyzing the body’s baseline temperature throughout the day. It will also indicate the onset of illness or health condition. The wearable device also packs support for tracking workout activities.

As for the Withings ScanWatch Light, it packs toned-down features compared to the ScanWatch 2. It has activity tracking, high and low heart rate notifications, cardiac coherence sessions, a sleep tracker, and a menstrual cycle monitor with symptom logging. However, the Light variant misses out on temperature tracking and ECG.

The Withings ScanWatch 2 is offered in Silver Black, Silver White, Silver Black, and Rose Gold Sand colors. It carries a price tag of $350 whereas the ScanWatch Light is priced at $250. Both devices are up for pre-orders from the company’s website with shipments expected to commence from October.

As per the report, Meta and LG will work on a mixed-reality device to compete with Apple’s recently unveiled AR headset, the ‘Vision Pro.’ For those unaware, Apple announced its first mixed-reality headset earlier this year, which will be available for purchase in early 2024. Meta and LG’s strategy is to compete with the ‘Vision Pro.’ In the report, it is mentioned that Meta is expected to release its low-priced VR/AR model for under $200 in 2024. While the high-end LG collaborated model will be released in 2025.

Additionally, there is speculation that the device could be named ‘Meta Quest 4 Pro.’ The inclusion of ‘Pro’ in the name suggests that this headset may indeed be the 2025 model resulting from the collaboration.

It is worth mentioning that LG Electronics applied for a mixed reality (MR) patent in 2019 and has been focusing on research and development (R&D). However, it is a little soon to be sure that this patent and collaboration might be related, but with time, we expect to receive more information.

Back in August, Meizu celebrated its 20th anniversary. On this special occasion, the company released its latest Meizu 20 flagship phone in white color.

That being said, popular tipster DCS says that the brand is gearing up to launch another Ace series device soon.

As per DCS, the upcoming OnePlus Ace smartphone will also feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is present in the Ace 2 Pro. This leads us to believe that this device could be the vanilla OnePlus Ace 3. Interestingly, the rest of the spec sheet matches the leaked spec sheet of the upcoming OnePlus 12R, meaning that the OnePlus Ace 3 will likely be a rebranded 12R for the Chinese market.

DCS reveals that the device will feature a 6.74-inch punch-hole OLED display with curved edges, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1.5K resolution. The display will also have high-frequency PMM dimming support.

Under the hood, we can expect the 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip to be paired with up to 16GB or 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. With the way trends are going in the Chinese Android smartphone market, a 24GB + 1TB configuration is not out of the question.

The camera details reveal that the device will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor. It will also include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens from OmniVision OV8D10 and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera using the IMX709 sensor. This telephoto camera might allow up to 2x optical zoom. Lastly, a large 5,500mAh battery is expected to be onboard along with 100W fast charging support.

Apple Pulls the Plug on 14-inch iPad, says Reports

Apple’s largest iPad Pro has a 12.9-inch display. There have been rumors that the company is working on a 14-inch model, but Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says that there is no such product in Apple’s product pipeline right now.

Gurman says that a 14-inch iPad Pro was considered for a 2023 launch, but it was ultimately scrapped. The reason for this is apparently the transition to OLED displays in the ‌iPad‌ lineup, which could invoke considerably higher costs on larger tablet displays. Instead, the first iPad Pro models with OLED displays are expected to top out at 13 inches and will go on sale in the first half of 2024.

Apple has been rumored to be working on a larger iPad for some time. In January 2022, it was reported that multiple suppliers were converting factories to supply Apple with 15-inch OLED displays for future iPad models. Then, in July 2022, display analyst Ross Young said that Apple had switched to an LCD display for the device.

There were also rumors that Apple was developing a 16-inch iPad that could be released in late 2023. However, these plans seem to have been scrapped.

Despite the conflicting rumors, it’s still possible that Apple will release a larger iPad in the future. The biggest iPads that have been available since 2018 are the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros. These are still smaller than the smallest MacBooks, the M1 MacBook Air and M2 MacBook Pro, which have 13.3-inch displays. Since the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is already similar in size to the 13.3-inch MacBooks, and is rumored to increase to 13 inches next year, it seems likely that Apple will eventually release a significantly larger iPad model.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) recently had a successful spacecraft launch, which took the country to the moon. Chandrayaan-3 landed on the moon’s south pole last month, but it appears that India is showing no signs of stopping its venture into space. A mere week after the successful moon landing, the country has now launched another new spacecraft that is setting its sights on the Sun.

India launches Aditya-L1: First Indian mission to observe the Sun

The nation’s space agency has already launched a rocket carrying Aditya-L1, which is India’s first mission dedicated to observing the Sun. For its mission, Aditya-L1 will be traveling over 930,000 miles over four months until it reaches the L1 Lagrange Point. For those unaware, this point is a place of equilibrium between two massive orbiting bodies, which in this case is the Sun and planet Earth.

The new spacecraft will remain in orbit at this point and collect data. Scientists are hoping that the information gathered by this mission will help them answer why the Sun’s corona is hotter than the surface. The data could even help provide information on how solar radiation and various solar phenomena affect communication systems, satellites, and power grids.

Scientists are hoping that Aditya-L1 may even reveal crucial information regarding solar wind behavior and its impacts on Earth’s climate. According to Sankar Subramanian, the mission’s principal scientist, “We have made sure we will have a unique data set that is not currently available from any other mission. This will allow us to understand the sun, its dynamics as well as the inner heliosphere, which is an important element for current-day technology, as well as space-weather aspects.”

Chandrayaan-3 Mission

An update on the Chandrayaan-3 mission revealed that the Vikram Lander has successfully soft-landed on the Moon again. It has exceeded its mission objectives and successfully underwent a hop experiment. The Vikram lander also performed well and deployed Ramp, ChaSTE, and ILSA that were folded back and redeployed successfully after their experiment.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series was recently announced as the brand’s flagship tablets. Now, it appears that a more affordable A-series tablet lineup is just around the corner. This will include the Galaxy Tab A9 model, which could launch soon as it was spotted on an Indian certification website.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 BIS

The South Korean tech giant’s Galaxy Tab A9 was spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). This tablet model was initially spotted on the TDRA certification website. The appearance of the Galaxy Tab A9 hints that the launch of this device is just around the corner. Known tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) spotted the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ models on BIS.

Looking at the certification listing, we know that the Galaxy Tab A9 carries the SM-X115 model number. The BIS certification also confirms the Indian availability of these upcoming tablets. Based on what we know so far, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 will offer 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and FM support.
