Asus is set to unveil its latest smartphone, the Asus Zenfone 10, on June 29. Building upon the immense success of its predecessor, the Zenfone 9, this new device is expected to retain the winning combination of a compact design and top-of-the-line specifications. Anticipation among tech enthusiasts and users alike is high as they eagerly await the launch of the Zenfone 10. Here is a roundup of all the information currently available about the upcoming smartphone.
Design & display
According to leaked renders, the design of the Asus Zenfone 10 shows minimal changes compared to its predecessor. The device appears to retain a similar body design, featuring two prominent cutouts on the rear for the cameras, enclosed by metallic rings. The edges of the phone remain flat, with a slight curvature, aimed at enhancing the ergonomics and grip of the device. The smartphone is expected to sport a metal frame and plastic rear construction.
Similar to its predecessor, the Zenfone 10 is anticipated to have the volume rocker and power button positioned on the right side of the device. Asus seems to be retaining the smart key feature for the power button, enabling users to access shortcuts such as app opening, Google Assistant, and notification shade pull-down by utilizing the power button. However, the side-mounted fingerprint scanner is apparently gone.
Up front, the device is said to feature a 5.9-inch AMOLED display that supports Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Like last year, the selfie camera is tucked away in the top corner, however, the device has a considerably slimmer chin bezel compared to its predecessor. Lastly, the display is rumored to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Performance
The Zenfone 10 is expected to deliver impressive performance, thanks to its utilization of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm. This chipset stands as the most advanced and powerful option currently available to consumers. Built on TSMC’s 4nm process, the chipset incorporates a Cortex-X3 prime core running at 3.2GHz, along with four performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz and three efficiency cores operating at 2.0GHz. Leaked Geekbench scores of the Zenfone 10 showcase the prowess of this chipset, with the device achieving a single-core score of 2008 points and a multi-core score of 5454 points in the Geekbench 6 tests.
Asus Zenfone 10
Reports claim that the device will ship in 8 GB / 16 GB of RAM variants, accompanied by 256 GB / 512 GB of native storage. To the surprise of many, Asus has successfully incorporated a sizable 5,000mAh battery into the compact 5.9-inch Zenfone 10. It has also been confirmed that the device will support wireless charging. However, exact details regarding the charging capabilities of the device are currently unavailable. In the previous model, Asus offered 30W fast charging technology, so it is reasonable to anticipate a similar or slightly improved charging solution for the Zenfone 10.
Software-wise, we can expect a pretty clean and near-stock Android 13 with some quirky customization. Additionally, the Zenfone 10 will boast an IP68 rating, indicating its dust- and water-resistant capabilities. Noteworthy features of the Zenfone 10 include dual speakers for an enhanced audio experience, a 3.5mm audio jack for convenient headphone connectivity, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
Camera
Major upgrades are allegedly coming in the camera department as the Zenfone 10 is jumping straight to a 200MP primary camera from the 50MP sensor on its predecessor. Allegedly, the sensor used will be the same ISOCELL HP2 sensor featured in the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This sensor impressively houses 200 million 0.6-micrometer (μm) pixels within a 1/1.3-inch optical sensor size.
Similar to the S23 Ultra, the sensor on the Zenfone 10 is likely to capture pixel-binned photos at 12.5MP (using 16-in-1 binning) or 50MP (using 4-in-1 binning). It remains to be seen if Asus will also offer the option for capturing 200MP raw shots. Other than the 200MP camera, the back will also feature an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Stabilization while filming and shooting videos will be handled by a six-axis Gaimball stabilizer. Lastly, a 32-megapixel selfie camera will be housed in a corner punch-hole.
Pricing
A leak last month revealed that the pricing of the device will be increased by $50, meaning that the phone will have a starting price of $699, while the 8GB RAM/256GB and 16GB RAM/256GB configurations will cost $749 and $799, respectively. However, we advise readers to take this information with a pinch of salt and wait for the official reveal on June 29.
The electric vehicle market is heating up. Young companies like Tesla and BYD are leading the way, but century-old car manufacturers are trying to catch up. One such manufacturer is Aston Martin. Most recently, the company has struck a deal with Lucid Group to gain access to its “high-performance” EV technology. Here are the details…
How the Aston Martin and Lucid Partnership Will Benefit Both Companies
Aston Martin is partnering with Lucid Group to get its hands on the U.S. company’s high-performance electric vehicle technologies. Aston Martin will pay Lucid $232 million in cash and shares, and in return, it will get access to Lucid’s battery technology, electric powertrains, and software. Aston Martin plans to launch its first EV in 2025, and this partnership with Lucid will give it the technology it needs to develop a competitive product. So, why does Aston Martin need such a merger?
Aston Martin needs a merger to help it afford the transition to eco-friendly vehicles. The transition is costly, and car manufacturers worldwide are pledging billions of dollars to develop low-emission technology. Smaller manufacturers like Aston Martin don’t have the resources to make this transition on their own, so they need to partner with other companies. This allows them to share the costs and risks of developing new technologies.
The deal was welcomed by investors, who sent Aston Martin’s shares up by nearly 15% on Monday. According to the latest reports, the shares are now trading at their highest level in over a year. Lawrence Stroll, executive chairman of Aston Martin, said the deal with Lucid was “a significant step forward in our electrification strategy.” He added that the partnership would “allow us to accelerate our plans to bring to market a range of highly competitive electric vehicles.”

Huawei is apparently planning on launching a new generation of Mate series of flagship smartphones. The company’s Mate 60 series launch could be right around the corner, so here are all the details.
Huawei’s supply chain begins moving for the Mate 60 production
According to a new report, the Chinese tech giant’s supply chain has begun supplying the company for the production of the next gen flagship series. In other words, the Mate 60 could be announced in the market soon. Notably, the brand announced the P60 lineup of flagship phones earlier this year. So if the Mate 60 series is launching soon, it would appear that the traditional dual flagship launch cycle of Huawei might be returning.
Huawei Mate 50
If this report is accurate, the Mate 60 series is expected to launch sometime in the second half of this year. As of right now, finer details regarding the upcoming Mate 60 like its specifications are still unclear. However, it is believed that the Mate 60 will also arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ series processor, although this chip will be lacking the 5G modem. In other words, it could be limited to 4G networking, similar to the P60 series that was announced previously.
The P60 model featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, while the higher end P60 Pro and P60 Art variants were powered by the more powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. So we can expect the Mate 60 to possibly arrive with these same chips or maybe even a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 series chipset. Keep in mind that this is still just an unconfirmed report as of right now, so stay tuned for more updates regarding this matter.
Samsung is confirmed to launch the Galaxy M34 5G smartphone in India soon. The device bagged FCC certification earlier today. The upcoming M-series phone is set to arrive as the successor to the last year’s Galaxy M33 5G. The smartphone is already confirmed to be available for purchase from Amazon. Now, the e-commerce platform has updated the microsite of the Galaxy M34 5G that reveals vital details of the device.

This suggests that the upcoming smartphone may come with all the aforementioned features. As per the microsite, the device is confirmed to feature triple rear cameras stacked vertically on the back panel. The rest of the details of the Galaxy M34 5G remain under wraps for now.
As per leaks and rumors, the Galaxy M34 5G is expected to come with a 6.6-inch sAMOLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will reportedly be backed by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W charging as per FCC certification. TSMC is the world’s largest chipmaker. They make chips for a wide range of industries, from smartphones to cars to data centers. Their chips are in almost every piece of technology we use in our daily lives. This makes TSMC very busy, and they are constantly producing chips. However, even this is not enough, as the production capacity of their new Kumamoto factory is already fully booked before it has even started mass production. Here are the details…
TSMC and Sony Partner to Meet Growing Demand for Automotive Chips
TSMC is always looking for ways to meet the ever-increasing demand for its chips. To do this, the company not only upgrades its existing production facilities, but also builds new ones. One of these new facilities is the Kumamoto factory in Japan. The Kumamoto factory cost TSMC more than $8.6 billion to build. It is scheduled to start mass production in 2024 and will employ around 1,700 people. The project is so big and important that it was a collaboration between TSMC and Sony Semiconductor Solutions.
Sony and TSMC has indicated that the demand for semiconductors will outstrip the supply that can be provided by the TSMC Kumamoto plant. This news has been revealed by Terushi Shimizu, President and CEO of Sony Semiconductor Solutions. The plant has already received a large order from Honda, and the increasing interest in electric vehicles is expected to lead to even more orders. Industry experts believe that the partnership between Sony and TSMC will help the plant reach its full capacity early on.
Moreover, this isn’t the only possible solution. One possibility is that TSMC will build a second wafer production facility in Japan. TSMC’s chairman, Mark Liu, has said that the company is considering this option, but no final decision has been made. If TSMC does decide to build a second plant in Japan, it would likely be located near the current plant in Kumamoto. The Japanese government is eager to attract more investment from TSMC, so it is expected to offer the company substantial subsidies.
Oppo is set to launch the Reno 10 series in the Indian market soon. But ahead of its official release, the company has teased the upcoming Reno 10 Pro+, showcasing its new camera technology. So let’s have a look.
Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ features new periscope lens
The Chinese tech giant’s top end Reno 10 model will feature a new periscope lens to its rear camera module. This new lens also enables the device to be thinner and lighter than the traditional telephoto shooter found in smartphones in the industry. But apart from just its design, it even offers new functionality as well. The periscope lens can offer up to 3x optical zoom that can take portrait shots as well.
In other words, one can take portrait shots from not only the primary wide sensor, but the telephoto lens as well. Portrait shots offer a soft bokeh effect and can compress distant elements in a scene that involves a monument, mountain, or building in the background. To avoid the camera lens being thicker, Oppo used a method of arranging the telephoto shooter in a periscope design with the lenses stacked and turned sideways.
The telephoto portrait camera offers a 64 megapixel resolution, which is the highest in the industry for a 1/2 inch image sensor. The 3x optical zoom can hit a whopping 120x magnification with hybrid zoom technology. On the other hand, the sensor also has a minimum focus distance of 25cm. With the Reno 10 series, the brand aims to offer a flagship grade mobile photography experience.
The Reno 10 Pro+ model has a 50 megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor, which has a 1/1.56 inch size and optical image stabilization as well. Alongside this camera, there is even an 8 megapixel Son IMX355 ultra wide angle lens that has a 112 degree field of view. Meanwhile, the front houses a 32 megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie camera that comes with autofocus support and facial recognition even in low light scenarios.

In terms of battery, the Nord 3 is speculated to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging at 80W using VOOC technology. Moving to the camera department, leaks suggest a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. For selfies, it is anticipated to have a 16MP front-facing camera.
Noteworthy features of the device may include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, efficient heat management with a 4129.8mm(sq) VC cooling chamber, and the convenience of an alert slider. Other expected features include NFC, an X-Axis Linear motor, and an IR blaster. Pre-installed on the device, users can likely expect OxygenOS 13.1 for a smooth and customizable user experience.
Huawei is barred from selling 5G devices for years. But the company has managed to push some of its products with 5G connectivity through partners. It continues to do this.
For the unaware, Huawei has partnerships with multiple companies, like TD Tech, Wiko, and China Post. These companies sell select Huawei phones with 5G under their own brands.
Since these firms are not owned by Huawei, they can legally sell 5G products. For instance, China Post sells 5G versions of Huawei Nova series handsets. As per a new leak, it will introduce a new model pretty soon.
A tipster on Weibo who goes by ‘Mr. Pengoeng is here’ has shared a few pictures of Hi Nova 11 dummy units. As the name suggests, this device will be a 5G version of the Huawei Nova 11.
The Hi Nova 11 will succeed the Hi Nova 10 from last year. Currently, it is not known if there will be a pro variant.
Going by the images, the Hi Nova 11 will be almost identical to the Huawei Nova 11 with a few exceptions. First and foremost, it will offer 5G support, and secondly, it will probably lack satellite connectivity. Further, the leaker suggests that it may not use Kunlun glass for display protection.
According to the pictures, the phone will be available in at least two colors, such as white and green. For comparison, the original comes in four hues, including black and gold.
As far as confirmed specs from the images are concerned, the Hi Nova 11 will arrive with a 6.88mm thin body, a 60MP front-facing camera, a 50MP rear camera, and 66W fast-wired charging support.
Just like the previous Hi Nova handsets, this one may also remain exclusive to mainland China.

Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo are all competing for gamers’ attention. Sony is currently ahead with the PS5, but Microsoft is trying to close the gap. One of Microsoft’s biggest weapons is Game Pass, a service that lets you play a wide variety of games for a monthly fee. Usually, Game Pass costs $10/month, but you can now get a 36-month subscription for less than $70. Here are the details…
How to Get a 36-Month Game Pass Ultimate for Cheap
Microsoft offers three versions of Game Pass: one for PC users, one for Xbox owners, andGame Pass Ultimate, which combines both. The prices for these plans vary depending on the country, as companies often adjust their prices to reflect local economic conditions. This can create loopholes that people living in other countries can take advantage of. For example, Game Pass Ultimate is only $14.99/month in the US, but it’s only $1,74/month in Turkey. And yes, you can also buy a 36-month subscription at this price.
Get a prepaid bank card linked to establishments in Turkey.
Create a new Microsoft account.
Set your location to Turkey using a VPN. This will make it look like you’re in Turkey, so you can get the local price for Game Pass.
Create a new Microsoft account. You can’t use your existing account, however it will be linked to your current location, and you need to change it.
Get a prepaid bank card linked to establishments in Turkey. You can find these online, or you can ask a friend in Turkey to help you.
Note: We can’t recommend any specific prepaid bank, but there are many reputable institutions in Turkey where you can open an account online. Just do your research carefully before you choose one.
Once you’ve completed the steps above, you can start your subscription for 44.99 TL by clicking “Join” on the page that appears when you click here. However, that’s not the end of it. You’ll need to click “Extend Subscription” on the same page to continue your subscription. Unfortunately, Microsoft Turkey only allows you to purchase more than one-month subscriptions at once. This means you’ll need to repeat the process. Additionally, the extension option may disappear from time to time. If this happens, you’ll need to turn off the auto-renewal option by clicking here.
Method Two
If you don’t want to go through all the steps mentioned above, you can buy a Game Pass Ultimate gift card from an e-commerce site in Turkey. You can use a VPN to create a Turkish account and redeem the code to get a 36-month subscription. However, the prices in Turkey have increased, so this option may be more expensive. You can also do the same thing for a standard Game Pass subscription, but you can only extend your subscription for 12 months with this version.

Redmi Note is Xiaomi’s most popular smartphone lineup. The series has evolved a lot in the past few generations. In fact, it now falls under the mid-range segment rather than budget.
Though they are now almost double the price of their predecessors, they come with features to match their pricing. These phones are now said to get even better, as per a reliable leaker.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo
According to Digital Chat Station, the next-gen Redmi Note lineup will be released in the second half of 2023. Though he doesn’t mention the name, it will likely be called Redmi Note 13.
He says that these upcoming Redmi Notes will arrive with a 6.7-inch centered punch-hole flat OLED display. The flexible panel will lack plastic brackets like premium smartphones and will have minimal bezels on all four sides.
Going by the description, the Redmi Note 13 series will retain the excellent display from Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which goes by Poco F5 outside mainland China. For the unaware, this handset probably has the least display bezels on a mid-range smartphone right now.
Unfortunately, that’s all the information Digital Chat Station has shared so far. We expect him to reveal more details in the coming days.
The Redmi Note 12 series was launched in China in late October. Hence, the forthcoming Redmi Note 13 series may also debut at around the same time. It might go official in international markets in early 2024.
