Realme Watch 3 Pro is teased to launch in India soon. The company has put up a microsite of the upcoming offering on its official website. The Realme Watch 3 Pro will arrive as the successor to the Watch 2 Pro that debuted last year. Although Realme has not revealed the exact launch date of the upcoming smartwatch, we expect it to debut alongside the Realme 9i 5G smartphone on August 18th.

The microsite reveals only a few features of the Realme Watch 3 Pro. The company claims it to be a flagship smartwatch. The upcoming offering is seen with a metal body and a physical button on the right side. There is also a small cutout that we assume to be a microphone. The wearable device has a square dial with an AMOLED display panel compared to the LCD on its predecessor. The smartwatch is teased to come with a large screen. 

The Realme Watch 3 Pro is confirmed to come with Bluetooth voice calling capabilities. It will also feature a built-in GPS. 

Realme recently launched the Watch 3 in India. The upcoming Watch 3 Pro will arrive as an upgraded variant of the regular model. We can expect more features compared to the Watch 3 as well as the Watch 2 Pro on the upcoming offering. Additionally, the Watch 3 Pro’s price may also be on the higher side.

Apart from the aforementioned details, the landing page does not reveal any additional specifications of the upcoming V25 Pro. Apple Mixed Reality headset may launch in Jan 2023, with a hefty $2000 price tag

We have already covered a number of reports regarding Apple launching its first ever mixed reality headset. And now, the latest information regarding this product has revealed that the new AR/VR headset might be launching at the start of next year, but it may tear a hole through your wallet.

The news arrives from known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. In a new tweet, Kuo claimed that the Cupertino based giant is planning on releasing its “next revolutionary consumer electronics product after the iPhone” next year. For those unaware, the mixed reality headset will apparently offer both Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality functionality. But unfortunately, it will also be quite expensive as well. It will reportedly launch with a hefty price tag between 2,000 to 2,500 US Dollars.

Furthermore, the analyst added that the mixed reality headset could launch sometime as early as January 2023. The announcement of this headset will also focus on three aspects as per Kuo. This includes its applications, the software/service/development ecosystem, and end with hardware specifications. Interestingly, the mixed reality device isn’t the only headset that the brand is working on, as he claims that Apple will also launch an AR exclusive headset as well.

Apart from this, the company will apparently also launch affordable version of its headset products sometime by early 2025. Unfortunately, this is all the information shared by the analyst on Twitter. Even if this report is true, the announcement for the product is still months away. Lenovo Legion Y70 official renders emerge before August 18 launch

Lenovo will unveil the Lenovo Legion Y70 smartphone on Aug. 13 in China. Before launch, a couple of official images of the device have surfaced to give a good look at its design.

The Legion branding reveals that the Legion Y70 will be a gaming phone. However, its images show that it will be a toned-down device as compared to the Legion Y90 that debuted in March 2022. The Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that the Y70 will come in three colors: Ice Soul White, Titanium Crystal Grey, and Flame Red. Among the three, the red variant sports a dual-tone design.

To recall, the middle portion of the Y90’s back panel features a dual-camera setup and an RGB light panel. However, the Y70 sports a regular design with a triple camera unit placed at the top-left corner. The camera setup comprises a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper.

The Legion Y70 features a punch-hole display at the front. Its previous TENAA listing has revealed that it will have a 6.58-inch AMOLED FHD+ display. It will probably support a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It will feature a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset will power the Legion Y70. The device is expected to ship with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will draw power from a 4,800mAh battery, which carries support for 68W rapid charging. Its other features include an in-screen fingerprint scanner and Android 12 OS with a ZUI custom skin on top. At present, there is no information on the price of the Y70.

The post on Twitter has revealed the pricing for the South Korean tech giant’s next gen foldable smartphones as well as the new premium TWS earbuds, which is the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. For those unaware, the company will be announcing these three products during the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10. We had just recently covered the leaked storage configurations for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 for the Indian market.

And now, we even have their pricing. As per the tipster, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 starts from 1,879 Euros (roughly 1,916 US Dollars) for its base 12GB + 256GB model. Meanwhile, the higher end 12GB + 512GB variant will apparently be available for purchase for a price tag of 1,999 Euros (roughly 2,039 US Dollars). On the other hand, the clamshell folding Galaxy Z Flip 4 will start from 1,149 Euros (roughly 1,172 US Dollars) for its base 8GB + 128GB model while the higher end 8GB + 256GB variant will cost around 1,199 Euros (roughly 1,222 US Dollars).

The top end 8GB + 512GB version will cost 1,329 Euros (roughly 1,355 US Dollars) as per the tipster. Lastly, the tipster also revealed the possible pricing for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro model as well. These latest generation premium truly wireless earbuds will have a 229 Euros price tag (roughly 233 US Dollars). Keep in mind that this is still just an unconfirmed report so take this news with a pinch of salt.

Redmi K50 Extreme Edition leak reveals screen resolution, 108MP triple cameras; Geekbench listing spotted

A new leak from Panda is Bald has revealed the screen resolution of the K50 Extreme Edition. The device has also been seen on Geekbench, which shows some of its other specs. In all likelihood, Redmi may market it as the Redmi K50 Ultra after launch.

Previous reports have revealed that the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. However, the tipster has further revealed that the smartphone will not have a 200-megapixel lens but a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM6 primary camera. It will be assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro / depth assist lens.

The Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is already confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Its TENAA listing is yet to be populated with its entire specifications. However, preliminary details available on TENAA reveal that it will arrive in 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variants.

The K50 Extreme Edition will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. For selfies, it will feature a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone will come preloaded with MIUI 13 based Android 12 OS. It is expected to be released with the Xiaomi 12T Pro moniker in the global market.

Motorola is planning on launching three new smartphones in a couple of days. But prior to the official August 11 launch event, the official render images for the Moto S30 Pro model has surfaced online.

But earlier today (8th August 2022), official renders images of the S30 Pro was leaked on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website) by known tipster Digital Chat Station. Apart from just these renders, the leak also shares some key specifications regarding the S30 Pro.

Looking at these images, we can see that the smartphone will launch in two color options, including a Blue and Black variants. Furthermore, it has a curved display as well as a punch hole selfie camera on the front. It also has a metal frame on the sides while the rear packs a large camera module that includes three sensors. Interestingly, the Moto S30 Pro’s Blue option may feature a leather like finish on the back.

During this conference, the company will be announcing its highly anticipated next gen foldable smartphones, namely the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4. But prior to any official announcements, a new leak has revealed key details regarding their launch in India.

The news arrives from a 91Mobiles report, which revealed the South Korean tech giant’s plans for the Indian market. The brand will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 4  model in three color options, including a Greygreen, Beige, and Phantom Black. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 model will be available in a Bore purple, Graphite, and Pink gold color options. However, the report claims that the region won’t see the launch of the Greygreen option.

Moving forward, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 model will be available for purchase in the region in two storage configurations, which includes the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant or the 12GB + 512GB version. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be sold in two storage options as well, namely the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB version. The report also reveals the sale date for both smartphones.

Google’s upcoming foldable smartphone Pixel Notepad could be manufactured by Foxconn

Google is rumored to be working on its first foldable smartphone, which is expected to go official sometime this year. Ahead of the launch of this new upcoming smartphone, some of the key details have surfaced online.

In the latest report, it is being claimed that the foldable smartphone from Google, which could be named Pixel Fold or Pixel Notepad, will be manufactured by Foxconn. For those who are unaware, Foxconn is also a contract manufacturer of the Apple iPhone.

Google Pixel Notepad is said to have a form factor similar to the Oppo Find N, meaning it will most likely have a square design when unfolded. It is rumored to feature a 5.8-inch display and will be powered by the company’s Tensor chipset.

As for the pricing, it was previously revealed that the search engine giant is targeting $1,399 price point for the foldable smartphone, which is significantly lower pricing compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold lineup.

The flagship Pixel series smartphones from Google typically sell about five million to seven million units annually. Based on that, the market estimates that the foldable smartphone from Google could sell about three million units in a year.

Motorola had initially planned to launch its new flagship phones on Aug. 2 in China. The Lenovo-owned brand had to cancel the event for some unknown reason. Recent teasers released by the brand hinted that the company would reschedule the event on Aug. 11 in China. The Moto S30 Pro will arrive with a 6.55-inch OLED FHD+ display.  It will feature the Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will pack a 4,720mAh battery with 68.2W fast charging support. The camera configurations of the S30 Pro are under wraps. It is likely to be rebranded as the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion.

Moto Razr 2022 specifications (expected)

The Moto Razr 2022 will come with a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display and a 2.65-inch OLED cover display. It will feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera setup. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 powered device will house a 3,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It will come with up to 18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. These devices are expected to go on sale by the evening of Aug. 11 in China.

Last week, Motorola postponed the launch event of the upcoming Moto X30 Pro and the Moto Razr 2022 to August 11. Out of these devices, the Moto X30 Pro will likely be rebranded as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra in the global market.

Ahead of its launch, MySmartPrice has spotted the Edge 30 Ultra on Geekbench revealing details like SoC, RAM, OS, and more. So, let’s take a look at the listing.

The listing reveals that the upcoming Edge 30 Ultra will have an octa-core chipset with four cores clocked at 2.02GHz, three cores clocked at 2.75GHz, and one core clocked at 3.19GHz. The chipset will also have the Adreno 730 GPU on board making it clear that this is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm.

Other than that, the device has 12GB of RAM on board along with an Android 12-based operating system. Coming to its performance, the smartphone scored 1318 points on the single-core test and 4235 points on the multi-core test of Geekbench 5.

A recent leak has suggested that the Edge 30 Ultra will rock a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Coming to the optics, the device is said to feature the large 1/1.22-inch Samsung HP1 200MP sensor for the primary camera. The massive sensor will be accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP telephoto camera. On the front, it is expected to feature a 60MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

Last but not the least, the smartphone is expected to feature a respectable 4,500mAh battery, paired with 125W fast charging support.

OPPO Pad Air’s new purple variant announced in China

In May, OPPO unveiled the OPPO Pad Air tablet in China. Since then, the tablet has been available in Fog Gray and Star Silver shades. Now, the brand has announced a new purple variant of the tablet in the home market. The company is now receiving pre-orders for the new color variant.

The tablet comes in three configurations: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. These variants are priced at 1,299 Yuan (~$192), 1,499 Yuan (~$221), and 1,699 Yuan (~$251), respectively.

In China, the purple edition of the OPPO Pad Air will come in 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB variants only. The shipment of the new color variant is expected to start on Aug. 10 in the home market. The Pad Air is available in gray color only in India. It is not clear if India will get the other colour versions of the tablet.

For the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite (SM-T225), Samsung is now deploying Android 12-based One UI 4.1 in Germany and Hong Kong. The firmware version T225XXU1BVGB marks the update. Additionally, the security patch from July 2022 is also included in the update. The update is expected to hit other regions soon.

The update brings a bunch of new features and improvements over the Android 11 operating system. These include changes to the user interface to facilitate better reachability and one-hand usability. Material You-based theming is also present in the update along with redesigned widgets for the home screen.

In addition, One UI 4.1 brings greater privacy features, a better Camera experience, more robust photo, and video editing capabilities, better sharing options, and a tonne of enhancements to Samsung apps like Calendar, Samsung Internet, Device Care, Samsung Keyboard, and more. Other than that, the update brings better accessibility features, an improved Dark Mode, simpler display brightness control, and improved game optimization services (GOS).

Realme UI 3.0 open beta program for Realme X3 commences

Back in June 2020, Realme launched the Realme X3 smartphone equipped with Android 10-based Realme UI. In May of last year, the smartphone got its Android 11 update, and now, it is due for an Android 12 update.

The brand has officially begun the Realme UI 3.0 open beta testing process for the Realme X3 smartphone. To participate in the open beta testing, users can navigate to Settings > Software Update and tap on the settings icon in the top right corner > Trial Version > Submit your details > Apply Now. Make sure that your device is on version RMX2081_11.C.13 / RMX2081_11.C.14 before applying for the open beta.

Realme has listed some must read points before opting for the update which is mentioned below.

  • Please make sure your phone is not rooted.
  • To prevent data loss, please backup your personal data before proceeding.
  • Some third-party application versions might not be compatible with Android 12 yet, after updating these applications might not be available or crashing down on your device. Therefore, it is recommended to update all your applications to the latest version available in the Play Store before your update.
  • The Open Beta versions may have an unpredictable impact on your phone and effect on daily use.
  • Please ensure that the available phone storage is more than 5GB. Otherwise, there will be a risk of update failure (To check the phone storage head to Settings > Additional Settings > Storage).

The common issues faced with the current build are longer boot time after the update and slight hanging and faster power consumption after the first boot.

Nokia 2660 Flip feature phone launched in China; now available for 429 yuan ($63)

HMD Global, the company which makes and sells new Nokia-branded mobile phones, has now launched a new device in the Chinese market, dubbed Nokia 2660 Flip. The phone was announced globally last month.

The newly launched Nokia 2660 Flip feature phone, as the name itself indicates, comes with a flip clamshell design. It is priced at 499 yuan (~$74), but it is currently being offered for 429 yuan (~$63).

The Nokia 2660 Flip features a 2.8-inch QVGA display with a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. On the back side of the phone, there’s also a 1.77-inch secondary QQVGA display with 120 x 160 pixels screen resolution.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Unisoc T107 processor and is coupled with 48MB of RAM and 128MB of internal storage. It also features a 0.3-megapixel or VGA camera sensor and an LED flash.

As for the connectivity options, the phone has support for Dual SIM along with Bluetooth 4.2. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB port. In the software department, there’s support for Accessibility Mode along with ICE Emergency Call System.

The device measures 18.9mm × 108mm × 55mm and weighs 123 grams. The Nokia 2660 Flip is powered by a 2.75-watt-hour removable battery which as per the company, offers a battery life of up to 20 hours and a standby time of up to 26.6 days.

OnePlus Ace Pro’s new launch date officially confirmed

The OnePlus Ace Pro’s new launch date has been revealed. As it is known, the company had initially planned to unveil the flagship phone on Aug. 3 in China. However, the company had to postpone the event due to some reason. Since then, OnePlus fans in China have been waiting for the company to confirm its new launch date. Today, the Chinese manufacturer took to Weibo to reveal that the Ace Pro will be announced at 7:00 pm (local time) on Aug. 9 in China.

The OnePlus Ace Pro will be positioned above the OnePlus Ace, which features the Dimensity 8100-Max chip, which went official in April this year. In China, the OnePlus Ace is priced between 2,499 Yuan (~$369) and 3,499 Yuan (~$517). The OnePlus Ace Pro featuring the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 may carry a starting price of around 4,000 Yuan (~$591).
