Xiaomi took the wraps off the Mi 9 Lite today in Spain. The Mi 9 Lite was already available to buy via online retail store Giztop, even before it goes on sale in Europe The device listed as the global version but in actual sense, the Mi 9 Lite is the global version of the Mi CC9 that was launched a couple of months back in China.
The device is on offer for $289 and this is for the 6GB+64GB version which is available in dark grey colour only. There is also a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version available for $309. This variant comes in dark grey and blue colour options.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite adopts a waterdrop notch screen design and packs a 6.39-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080pixels. The mobile phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM while there are 64GB/128GB storage options. Meizu haven’t really been having the best of times, which is really quite a shame. Among the big Chinese manufacturers, Meizu has been arguably one of the most unique and solid when it comes to pure quality and design. Lately however, their devices have been slightly more simple, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but does mean that they’re less exciting. This may change with the upcoming Meizu 17, if these new renders are to be believed.
Perhaps the most interesting thing about these Meizu 17 renders are how the device is curved but still remains nice and angular. It features a Samsung style curved display, similar to the one on the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Pro. The display curves over the edges, but leads to an angular bottom and top, which is a rather unique touch. The bezels around the display are also relatively thin, with no unsightly notches in sight.
The bottom of the device holds the speaker grille and USB-C port, though there’s unfortunately no 3.5mm headphone jack in sight. Leaks claim the device has a 20MP front-facing selfie camera on top, and that it uses screen vibrations instead of an earpiece speaker. As expected, Motorola has today launched a new budget smartphone in the Indian market under its E-series of devices, dubbed Moto E6s. The smartphone seems to be the re-branded version of the Moto E6 Plus for the Indian market with a few changes in the phone’s configuration.

Huawei’s premium next-generation Mate 30 series flagship smartphones are getting launched on 19th September in Munich, Germany and ahead of the phone’s launch most of the details have already leaked online.
As per the latest information, LG Display will be supplying flexible organic light emitting display (OLED) panels to Huawei for its upcoming flagship premium Mate 30 series smartphones.

Earlier, it was reported that Samsung Display is supplying Mate 30 series OLED panels. Huawei sourced rigid OLED panels from Samsung Display but the flexible OLED panels were supplied by LG Display and BOE. The company has reportedly given LG Display and BOE a status of primary supplier of flexible OLED panels for Huawei smartphones.
