LG has announced the LG X5 for the Japanese market. The device is basically a rebranded LG G7 One that was first announced at IFA 2018 in Berlin, Germany. The major difference is that the G7 One comes with Android 8.1 Oreo but the X5 runs Android 9.0 Pie from the go. However, the G7 One has already gotten updated to Android Pie, thanks to the Android One program. The device also arrives with an outstanding design coupled with an impressive specs lineup.
The LG X5, or G7 One if you like, has as its standout feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset which is last year’s flagship SoC from Qualcomm. It also rolls out with Android One just like its contemporary. Specs wise, the LG X5 sports a 6.1-inch QHD+ notch-bearing display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 835 chipset onboard teams up with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of storage (UFS 2.1). Further, the LG X5 comes with an IP-68 waterproof and dustproof build and the build is also MIL-STD-810G certified. For connectivity, you get NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB-C port. It also has an FM radio. The X5 has a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and runs Android 9 out of the box. It will be available in Mystic White and New Moroccan Blue. As for the price, Y!
