The Snapdragon 855 chipset powered device was found to be the upcoming Galaxy Tab S5 tablet. Now, Galaxyclub.nl has shared some vital information on the tablet and has claimed that it may go official at some time in August.

The Geekbench listing of the Galaxy Tab S5 had revealed that it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. It will come preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS. According to the publication, the Galaxy Tab S5 will be arriving with its own S-Pen stylus.

In February, Samsung had launched a low powered Galaxy Tab S5e. The Snapdragon 670 SoC fueled tablet did not feature an S-Pen stylus. It was made available with a budget-friendly price tag of 399 euros. The Galaxy Tab S4 that was introduced last year had arrived with 699 euros price tag. Hence, it is likely that the Galaxy Tab S5 may also carry a similar price tag. The Tab S4 with model numbers SM-T830 and SM-T835 were made available as its Wi-Fi only and LTE variants. There is a possibility that the Galaxy Tab S5 may also come in Wi-Fi only (SM-T860) and LTE (SM-T865) variants.

Editor’s Pick: Samsung’s deepfake AI can Create your Video from a Single Photo

There is no information available on the other specs and features of the Galaxy Tab S5. The South Korean tech giant had axed the 3.5mm audio jack in the Galaxy Tab S5e to achieve a thinner design. Hence, there is a chance that the upcoming Galaxy Tab S5 may lack a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Android 9 Pie OS on the device could be overlaid with the latest One UI from the company. The Galaxy Tab S4 did not feature a fingerprint scanner and it featured an iris scanner for user authentication. The Galaxy Tab S5 may also lack a fingerprint reader.

Last year, the Galaxy Tab S4 was introduced more or less at the same time as Galaxy Note 9 in August. A recent report had claimed that Samsung may debut the Galaxy Note 10 on Aug. 10. Probably, the Tab S5 may go official around the same time. It may hit the market at the beginning of September.

UP NEXT: Samsung Galaxy M40 is a ~$300 Snapdragon 675-powered phone with a punch hole display

Among the upcoming tablets from the company, the Galaxy Tab S4 is rumored to be packed with advanced specs. Fresh information has revealed that the company may announce the Galaxy Tab S4 at the upcoming Unpacked event that will be held on Aug. 9 to announce the Galaxy Note 9 phablet. A leaked hands-on video of the tablet has also surfaced today to reveal its appearance.

The above video only lasts for 10 seconds, but it manages to reveal that the Galaxy Tab S4 will be arriving in Black and Gray color variants. The other thing that can be seen in the short clip is that the tablet does not feature a physical home button which is available on the predecessor Galaxy Tab S3. The tablet seems to be sporting 16:10 aspect ratio display.

The Galaxy Tab S4 does not feature a fingerprint scanner. The leaked firmware files of the Tab S4 has revealed that it will be equipped with iris scanner and Intelligent Scan feature which can be found on flagship phones like Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note 8 phones. Intelligent Scan is a feature that combines iris scanner and facial recognition.

Plenty of information on the specifications of the Galaxy Tab S4 have surfaced in the recent weeks. The tablet is expected to house a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display that will carry support for Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.

The Snapdragon 835 SoC will be powering the tablet along with 4 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 64 GB and it is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo OS. The tablet draws power from a massive 7,300mAh battery. It has a rear camera of 13-megapixel and a frontal shooter of 8-megapixel. The device will be also carrying support for DeX.

Read More: Huawei to beat Samsung by launching world’s first foldable smartphone

According to Techno Buffalo, its sources have revealed that Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event that will be held in New York at Aug. 9 will be used to announced Galaxy Note 9 as well as Galaxy Tab S4. The launch invitation of the Note 9 had featured an S Pen stylus. Since the Note 9 and Tab S4 are equipped with S Pen, it is likely that both devices may get announced at the same event.

There is no information available on when it will be launching the Galaxy Watch. However, that won’t be the case for this year’s Galaxy Tab S4.

Renders had already shown that the Galaxy Tab S4 was missing a front-mounted fingerprint scanner and didn’t have one on the back, though the latter wouldn’t have made any sense for a device with a 10-inch screen.

New reports have now confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S4 will not come with a fingerprint scanner. Instead, it will come with a combination of an iris scanner and face unlock which Samsung has termed “Intelligent Scan”. The confirmation comes from an instructional video from the official Galaxy Tab S4 firmware.

The Galaxy Tab S4 will be the first tablet to come with an iris scanner. With “Intelligent Scan”, users will be able to unlock their device with either the iris scanner or face unlock depending on the environment. For example, when outdoors and under bright sunlight, the iris scanner is known to fail, so in that situation, the device switches to face unlock. And when in poorly lit areas where Face Unlock doesn’t work, the device switches to iris scanning. You can watch the video in the source link below.

The Galaxy Tab S4 is expected to launch in August. It will come with a redesigned S Pen, thinner bezels, and DeX support. It will also come with a Snapdragon 835 processor and have a 10.5-inch display.

Called the Galaxy Tab S4, it will be its most powerful tablet as it will come with a Snapdragon 835 processor.

Ahead of its official release, which is still unknown at the moment, though there are speculations it may launch with the Galaxy Note 9, press renders of the device has surfaced. The images were leaked on Twitter by Evan Blass (@evleaks) and they show the device, a Bluetooth keyboard, and even the S Pen.

The first image shows the Galaxy Tab S4 sitting in a black keyboard case. Beside the setup, is the S Pen in silver. The tablet has two speaker grilles at the top (side) along with a microphone. We can’t see the bezel at the far end clearly, which is likely the bottom bezel, but there doesn’t seem to be a physical home button there.

Another image shows the rear of the tablet, this time without the case. There is a single camera and a LED flash sitting in the upper middle part. A few centimeters below is the Samsung logo and inscribed at the bottom are the words “Tuned by AKG”. There is also the S Pen leaning against the tab.

The final image shows the S Pen of the Galaxy Tab S3 (L) and that of the Galaxy Tab S4 (R) side by side. The image shows us that Samsung has redesigned the stylus. As you can see, the S Pen is now rounded right from the top down to the tip. The button on the side is also slimmer. There is also a silver band in the middle with a perpendicular line. We can’t say if this is a second button but it appears to have a small LED too.

Apart from having a Snapdragon 835 SoC, the Galaxy Tab S4 will also be the first Samsung tablet with DeX support. It is also reported to have a 10.5-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio.

A lot of information on the Tab S4 tablet has appeared in the recent past, but none of the leaks have revealed its actual design. An official press render of the tablet has appeared today to kill the mystery of its appearance.

Rumors have revealed that the Galaxy Tab S4 would be available in black and gray colors. The below render shows off the black variant. It is yet to be confirmed whether there will be Gold color edition of the tablet. When it comes to rear design and placement of the camera, the Galaxy Tab S4 appears almost same as predecessor Galaxy Tab S3. Even the positioning of the power and volume keys on the Galaxy Tab S4 is same as the predecessor tablet. The “Tuned by AKG” logo found on the Tab S3 has been replaced by “Samsung | Tuned by AKG” logo on the successor model.

Rumors have revealed that the Galaxy Tab S4 will be equipped with a 10.5-inch display. Earlier in this year, the HTML5 benchmarks of Tab S4 had revealed that it would be offering an aspect ratio of 16:10. The screen seems to be surrounded by slightly slimmer bezels compared to the Tab S3 that featured a 9.7-inch display. The overall size of the Tab S4 does not seem to be much larger than its predecessor.

There is no logo on the top bezel of the Galaxy Tab S4. This could be because that the tablet could be housing an iris scanner on the top bezel. Samsung seems to have removed the home button from the chin of the device. Probably, the Tab S4 may carry support for on-screen navigation buttons. Some rumor had claimed that the tablet could be arriving with fingerprint sensor enabled home button. However, now the home button is absent from the device, it is unlikely to feature a fingerprint scanner.

Read More: Samsung Galaxy On6 with 5.6-HD+ display and 4GB RAM launched in India

There is no information available on the specifications of the Galaxy Tab S4. The tablet is expected to be fueled by Snapdragon 835 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. It is likely to feature an inbuilt storage of 64 GB. A big-sized battery of 7,300mAh may power the upcoming Samsung tablet. The tablet may arrive preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo. For photography, it may feature a 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera and a frontal shooter of 8-megapixel.

It is speculated that the Galaxy Tab S4 will also carry support for Samsung DeX. The South Korean company has recently confirmed that it will be holding the Unpacked event on Aug. 9. The event is expected to unleash the Galaxy Note 9 phablet. Hence, the company may announce the Galaxy Tab S4 at the IFA 2018 tech trade show.

For the first time, Samsung will bring the feature to a tablet – the upcoming Galaxy Tab S4.

The Galaxy Tab S4 is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9. Apart from packing flagship features such as a Snapdragon 835 processor, it will also double as a desktop computer when connected to the dock.

The news comes from SamMobile and they say it will be the first DeX-supported device to have a dual-monitor feature. This lets you use the tablet screen as a second display when docked.

The DeX Pad or DeX Station lets you plug in a monitor, keyboard, and mouse for a full desktop experience. Your Android apps will launch in full screen and can be resized into smaller windows for better multi-tasking.

The two DeX docks currently available are not designed for a device as large as a tablet, so there is a possibility Samsung may unveil a new dock for it.

In the recent past, the rumor mill has revealed plenty of information on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 tablet. The device is expected to go official alongside Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) in August this year. Fresh information on the color variants of both the tablets have been leaked.

Fresh information revels that the Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) will be introduced in colors like Black and Grey. It seems that the South Korean company has no plans to introduce fancy color options for its forthcoming tablets. The Galaxy Tab S3 that was launched in the previous year had also arrived in same color options.

The Galaxy Tab S4 as well as Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) are rumored to hit the market in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE models. Recent reports have claimed that the Tab S4 will be sporting slimmer bezels for its 16:10 aspect ratio display. The Snapdragon 835 SoC is likely to power the device along with 4 GB of RAM. It may feature a native storage of 64 GB. The tablet will be preloaded with Samsung Experience 9.5 based Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It is expected to arrive with an improved S-Pen that may have features that are available on Galaxy Note 8’s stylus.

Nothing much is known on the specs of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2018). As the name goes, it may house a 10.1-inch display. There is a possibility that the device may arrive with Galaxy Tab A2 XL moniker in the market.

Some rumors have claimed that both the tablets may get unveiled by the end of July. If these tablets do not arrive by the coming month, there is a possibility that Samsung may use it at the Galaxy Note 9 Unpacked event that is expected to take place on Aug. 9. The company is also rumored to debut the Gear S4 smartwatch at the same event.

The Samsung SM-T835 a.k.a. Galaxy Tab S4 was benchmarked today and the result confirms a key component.

A device with the same model number was benchmarked on AnTuTu about three months ago. The benchmark result revealed the device has an Adreno 540 GPU and a CPU clocked at 2.3GHz. There is only one mobile SoC that has the above features and that is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.

The device has now appeared on Geekbench, and the site confirms the Tab S4 is indeed powered by an MSM8998 processor which is also known as the Snapdragon 835. Geekbench also reveals the tablet will have 4GB of RAM.

The Galaxy Tab S3 which launched last April has a Snapdragon 820 processor and also 4GB of RAM. Its successor will not only have a more-powerful chipset but also a larger 10.5-inch display as against the Tab S3’s 9.7-inch screen.

AnTuTu also revealed that the front camera has been upgraded to 8MP but the rear camera is now a 12MP sensor. It may actually launch as 13MP. The Galaxy Tab S4 will have LTE support and 64GB of storage. Although it still won’t have NFC.

The Galaxy Tab S4 should hit market shelves soon seeing as the device has now been benchmarked twice and granted certification by Russian’s Certification version of the FCC.

Based on the previous reports, the Galaxy Tab S4 is expected to come with a 10.5-inch display having a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. This suggests that the device’s display will have a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the tablet will be powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor along with Adreno 540 graphics processor and 4GB of RAM. It’ll pack 64GB of internal storage and will come with a microSD card slot that will allow users to further expand the storage capacity up to 256GB.

On the back side, there’ll be a 12-Megapixel single camera sensor and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is expecting to be running Android Oreo operating system out of the box, with the company’s own custom user interface on top. The tablet will be powered by a 6,000mAh non-removable battery.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy Tab S3 tablet at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February last year. The company did not launch the Galaxy Tab S3’s successor at MWC this year, maybe because of the decline in the tablet industry.

However, the Galaxy Tab S4 could get launched in the coming weeks, or the company may use the IFA 2018 tech trade show platform that is scheduled to take place in September at Berlin, Germany. While the pricing is also not known, reports indicate that the device might come at a price of around $599-$649.

The same model number has been certified Wi-Fi Alliance which suggests that the arrival of the Galaxy Tab S4 could be drawing near.

According to the appearance of the Samsung SM-T835 at Wi-Fi Alliance site reveals that it is a tablet device that is preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo. Previous reports have suggested that there could be LTE and Wi-Fi only variants for the Galaxy Tab S4. The LTE model could be having a model number of SM-T830. It has been also found that the South Korean company is reportedly testing software builds with version numbers T830XXU0ARDA and T835XXU0ARDA for the Galaxy Tab S4.

It had also shown that the tablet’s display will be offering an aspect ratio of 16:10 which indicates that the tablet will deliver good viewing experience while watching movies. It has the same aspect ratio as the first-generation Galaxy S model. The Galaxy Tab S2 and S3 tablets offer 4:3 aspect ratio.

The GFXBench listing of the SM-T835 had revealed that it features a 10.5-inch S-AMOLED display that supports QHD resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It is fueled by Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4 GB of RAM. It features a native storage of 64 GB. It has a rear camera of 12-megapixel and a front-facing shooter of 8-megapixel.

The Galaxy Tab S4 may borrow some of the features from the predecessor model. Hence, it may feature AKG tuned speakers, S Pen stylus and keyboard.

The same tablet has appeared on HTML5 benchmarks to reveal the aspect ratio it will be supporting.

The Galaxy Tab S3 that was launched last year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 supports an aspect ratio of 4:3. It features a 9.7-inch screen that supports resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. The HTML5 benchmarks of the forthcoming Samsung SM-T385 reveals that it offers a resolution of 800 x 1200 pixels.

The GFXBench listing of the Galaxy Tab S4 had revealed that the device supports 2560 x 1600 pixels on its 10.5-inch display. The HTML5 benchmarks confirm that the device will be offering an aspect ratio of 16:10. The original Galaxy Tab S had also featured the same aspect ratio. The Galaxy Tab S2 and its successor had arrived with 4:3 aspect ratio display. The Galaxy Tab S4 with 16:10 aspect ratio will deliver a good viewing experience while watching movies on it.

The Galaxy Tab S4 is also seen running on Android 8.0 Oreo in HTML5 benchmarks. This is an indication that the company may release it in the first half of the year. The Samsung devices such as Galaxy Note 9 arriving in the second half of the year are pegged to feature Android 8.1 Oreo. Like the Galaxy Tab S3, it may carry support for S Pen stylus and keyboard.

There is no information on whether Samsung will be debutingt the Galaxy Tab S4 at MWC 2018 in the next week. It goes without saying that the launch of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be one of the major attractions of the MWC 2018

A new Samsung tablet with model number SM-T835 has appeared on GFXBench. Since the LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S3 has a model number of SM-T825, it is likely that the SM-T835 that has surfaced on the benchmarking platform could be the Galaxy Tab S4.

The Samsung SM-T835’s GFXBench listing shows that the slate features 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display that will be supporting resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. An octa-core chipset featuring a 2.3 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 540 graphics powers the tablet. This indicates that the tablet will be fueled by Snapdragon 835.

The SoC will be coupled with 4 GB of RAM and it will be arriving with a native storage of 64 GB. For photography, it is likely to arrive with a rear-mounted camera of 12-megapixel. Its front-facing camera is of 8-megapixel. It will be arriving preloaded with Android 8.0 Oreo. The leaked specs suggest that the Galaxy Tab S4 could be the most powerful tablet from the company.

Like the predecessor model, it may also arrive in a Wi-Fi only model.
