Xiaomi has now unveiled its latest electric scooter, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro in Europe. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro had been the subject of speculation for a while and was certified recently revealing that the e-scooter will be produced by Segway-Ninebot. The Scooter 4 Pro will be available in Europe but the company is mum on its release date.

The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro sports a similar design to its predecessors. It comes with a top speed of 25km/h and has a range of about 45km on a full charge. The Electric Scooter 4 Pro has a 12,400mAh battery and can output up to 700W of electric power. It weighs about 16.5kg and can carry loads up to 120kg. The standing e-scooter comes with 10-inch self-sealing tires, and a double-action disc brake, in addition to improved control efficiency overall. It has an E-ABS system on its front wheel and a kinetic energy recovery system (KERS).

The new Xiaomi e-scooter comes with significant improvements from the Electric Scooter 3 Lite built by Navee. It will be suitable for short commutes while its load-carrying capacity is also useful. The e-scooter has a length of 1.2m and a height of 1.24m. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro can be easily carried in the car but may not be fully foldable. Further details and the release date for the new e-scooter will be made known at a later date.

Last month, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G was launched in the European markets featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support. A recent report revealed that the device will likely launch in India on June 27.

Now, PassionateGeekz has spotted the smartphone on the OnePlus India website confirming that it will be available in four versions (Two colors, Two storage). Going by the recent report, the device will likely be available in Shadow Grey and Jade Fog color options. As for the storage and memory variants, the device will likely come in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G specs

The smartphone is already available in multiple markets so we already have an idea of what to expect from its Indian variant. The smartphone will likely come with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it will come with the Dimensity 1300 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device will likely have a 4,500mAh battery unit paired with 80W fast charging.

For optics, the Nord 2T 5G will have a 50MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (depth) triple camera system on the back. And on the front, it will house a 32MP selfie snapper. Other features of the device may include an in-screen fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers.

The device is expected to have a starting price of ₹28,999 in India, while the top-end configuration is expected to cost ₹31,999.

Last week, Chinese tech giant Realme teased the Narzo 50i Prime launch scheduled for June 22. The Realme Narzo 50i Prime has indeed been launched for the global market. The smartphone is a budget device equipped with a decent specs lineup that makes it a fitting backup phone or a good option for someone low on budget.

In terms of the design, the Narzo 50i Prime, the device adopts a straight edge design with well-chamfered edges. It uses a water drop notch design at the front with narrow bezels at the edges. The rear design includes a single primary camera with an LED flash.

The specification of the Narzo 50i Prime is almost similar to that of the recently launched Realme C30 budget smartphone. This includes a 6.5-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. The device is also powered by the Unisoc T612 chipset and packs a 5,000mAh battery just like the C30.

Along with the 2-in-1 tablet, the company has also launched the Asus TUF Dash F15 laptop with 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs. So, let’s take a detailed look at its specs and features.

Asus TUF Dash F15 2022 Specifications

Starting with the display, it comes with a 15.6-inch IPS panel that’s offered with up to 300Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. The display also offers 100 percent coverage of the SRGB color gamut.

A new report has revealed some interesting information regarding Samsung and its smartphone operations. Apparently, the low demand in the handset market has caused a surplus in its smartphone inventory and the figure is huge.

According to TheElec, the South Korean tech giant has a large stockpile of smartphones that have reached 50 million in number. Furthermore, sources have claimed that the Galaxy A series made up a large portion of smartphones that is in this inventory. These are being readied to be sold, as per one of the source. Samsung is planning on shipping around 270 million units of smartphones in this year. So, 50 million would mean that the large inventory accounts for around 18 percent of its shipment goals.

The report further added that a more balanced figure would’ve been around 10 percent, so the figure basically implies that the brand is currently facing low demand for its smartphones. Just in the month from January to February 2022, the company had produced around 20 million units of smartphones. However, this figure halved to 10 million units in May. In other words, this drop in production is probably due to the existing large stockpile of handsets that have not been sold yet.

As of right now, the demand for smartphones have dipped across all segments. There have been multiple reasons for this including lockdowns in China due to the Coronavirus, global economic state, surge in raw materials, the ongoing invasion of Russia into Ukraine, among others. Thus, Samsung has also lowered its component orders from its supports by around 30 to 70 percent from April to May.

Sony is reportedly working on its first 100MP camera sensor. The Japanese brand is yet to release a camera sensor above 100 megapixels. According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the sensor will be aimed at premium mid-range smartphones. Notably, Sony also makes camera sensors for tech giants Apple and Google which are popular brands among smartphone photography enthusiasts.

The leaker adds that the 100MP sensor will be a part of Sony’s IMX8 series. Alongside, Sony is also said to be working on the IMX9 series. There is no additional information about the brand’s upcoming 100MP sensor. The IMX8 series debuted with a 54MP 1/1.49 IMX800 sensor that was used in the Honor 70 series. Considering that the 100MP sensor will be aimed at mid-range smartphones, we can expect it to do a decent job in imaging capabilities.

The leaker had previously reported that Sony’s IMX9 series camera would be the 50MP IMX989 sensor in 1-inch size and it is expected to debut in the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

With the 100MP sensor, Sony aims to take on Samsung which is already working on a 200MP ISOCELL HP3 sensor. Motorola is tipped to debut a smartphone next month with the 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor. Additionally, many phones in the market use Samsung’s 108MP ISCOELL sensor.

Recently, Sony’s CEO claimed that smartphone cameras could overtake DSLR cameras in the next few years.

Dell G15 AMD Edition specifications

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected to launch at the brand’s Unpacked event in August. The fourth-generation foldable smartphone’s key specifications have already been leaked. It has also been spotted in leaked renders.

Now SamMobile reports that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 Bespoke Edition will be available in more colours as well get a wider launch. The upcoming offering’s predecessor was launched last October after two months after the debut of the regular version. With Bespoke Edition, buyers get the option to customise colour combinations on the back panel. To recall, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition offered 49 colour combinations. The device was only limited to Australia, France, Canada, Germany, Korea, UK, and the US markets.

The publication adds that more countries especially leading markets across Europe and Asia will be able to order the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The exact release date of the foldable smartphone remains unclear, however, we can expect it to be available at the same time as its predecessor i.e. October.

As for the core specifications, the Samsung will come with a 6.7-inch sAMOLED internal display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer screen of the device will feature a 2.1-inch sAMOLED display, which is slightly larger than the Galaxy Z Flip 3’s external display.

The smartphone is tipped to feature a 12-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper. On the inside, it will have a 10-megapixel selfie camera.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It will pack 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging and 10W wireless charging.

Poco is set to host a launch event tomorrow (23rd June 2022). This conference will be a live event and the company is expected to launch two new smartphones in the global market, with one of them also being released in the Indian market.

On the front, it will house a 20 megapixel selfie shooter on its 6.67 inch AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the rear packs a triple camera setup, with a 64 megapixel primary sensor, 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro shooter.

Arriving at the Poco X4 GT, this model is a rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro and will launch with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. It will house a 5,080mAh battery pack that supports 67W fast charging as well. The processor will also be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the back, it will also feature a triple camera setup, including a 64 megapixel primary sensor, 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro shooter. Back in May, Google announced the Android 13 Beta program and has been seeding builds for the eligible Pixel smartphones since then. Followed by this, Oppo recently revealed that it has started the development of ColorOS 13 based on the new version of Android. Now, a leak discloses that even Samsung has joined the bandwagon.

According to the Chinese tipster Ice Universe who is known for his Samsung leaks, the South Korean electronics giant has kickstarted the development of One UI 5.0 based on Android 13. The leaker also shared an image on Weibo showing a device running the upcoming software.

In the comment section, the leaker also says there will not be One UI 4.5. It’s not surprising as Samsung did not release One UI 3.5 last year either. Instead, the company rolled out One UI 3.1.1. Perhaps, we may see One UI 4.1.1 in the second half of 2022.

ASUS ROG Flow Z13 launched in India, as the first detachable 2 in 1 gaming tablet

ASUS has just launched a new tablet from its gaming centric ROG (Republic of Gamers) brand in India. It is the new ROG Flow Z13, which is its first detachable 2 in 1 gaming tablet.

Apart from the new gaming tablet, the known Taiwanese PC maker has just announced another product, which is the TUF Dash F15 2022 gaming laptop. In other words, the brand is expanding its gaming product portfolio in India. Talking about the ROG Flow Z13, the company has introduced a new design philosophy for gaming that places an emphasis on portability. The device offers a clamshell mode when using the kickstand that has a built in keyboard as well. This also enables better cooling compared to conventional laptops.

Under the hood, the tablet houses up to a powerful Intel Core i9-12900H CPU that is paired with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. Although, one of the highlighting feature of this tablet is its support for external GPUs. The ROG Flow Z13 is compatible with the XG Mobile external GPU lineup, which enables the user to boost the gaming horsepower with higher end GPUs like the GeForce RTX 3080 or even the AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT GPU as well.

On the front, the display is offered in two options, namely a 4K panel 60Hz panel that has a an 85 percent DCI P3 color gamut or a FHD panel that supports 100 percent sRGB and 120Hz high refresh rate. The ROG Flow Z13 also comes with MUX Switch technology that can help save power when needed. Interestingly, the tablet weighs just 1.1 kilograms, which is quite impressive for its specifications. Soon after the launch of the Galaxy S22 series, a report revealed that Samsung had started working on Galaxy S23 series under ‘Project Diamond’. Now, months later, more information about the company’s next-gen flagship smartphones emerges.

According to a report by GalaxyClub, Samsung will finally upgrade the selfie camera of the vanilla and plus models of the upcoming Galaxy S series phones. For the unaware, the firm has been using the same front-facing camera since 2019.

All the Galaxy S series handsets (excluding Ultra models) from the Galaxy S10 series to the Galaxy S22 series feature the same 10MP selfie camera. This is said to finally change with the next generation.

The report states that Samsung will use a 12MP front-facing camera for the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23 Plus. It does not mention anything about the selfie camera of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. So far, Ultra models have been using a 40MP front-facing camera.

As of now, it is not known whether the 12MP selfie camera on the Galaxy S23 series will be placed under the display or will nest inside a punch-hole. Since the smartphones are almost a year away from their launch, we expect to learn more details about them in the coming months.

Poco is gearing up to launch two new smartphones in the global market soon. This includes the X4 GT and F4 5G model. However, prior to their official announcement tomorrow (23rd June 2022), the pricing and specs of both models were found listed in a retailer’s website.

According to a MySmartPrice report, the Chinese smartphone maker’s Poco X4 GT and F4 5G models were found listed on a retailer’s website in Poland. This revealed their complete specifications alongside their prices in the Polish market. The former is a rebranded Redmi K40S while the latter is a rebadged Redmi Note 11T Pro. Looking at the online listing, the X4 GT will be offered in two storage configurations, namely 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Similarly, the F4 5G will also be offered in two options, which is the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models.

The Poco F4 5G’s 6GB variant will be priced at 2,200 PLN (roughly 497 US Dollars), meanwhile its 8GB variant costs 2,400 PLN (roughly 542 US Dollars). The X4 GT starts from 1,900 PLN (roughly 429 US Dollars) for the 8GB + 128GB option while the higher end 256GB model has a price tag of 2,000 PLN (roughly 452 US Dollars). Keep in mind that these prices are for the European market, so there will likely be differences in price tags depending on regions outside of EU.

The brand is also set to launch the Poco F4 5G in India as well, while the X4 GT will not be making its way to the Southeast Asian country. So, this gives us a good idea regarding the F4 5G’s possible pricing for the Indian market. We can expect the 6GB model to cost around 38,900 INR and the higher end 8GB variant to cost around 42,500 INR. TECNO launches its latest CAMON 19 series at the iconic Rockefeller Centre in New York. This premium smartphone series focuses on low and dim light photography and takes night time imagery to a new level, thanks to its 64MP bright night portrait photography technology.

TECNO CAMON 19 series comes with two phones viz. CAMON 19 and 19 Pro. Both smartphones are designed to give you advanced photography options and have won the iF Design Award 2022 for outstanding product design for its slim bezel and an ingenious dual-ring triple-camera layout.

The CAMON 19 series focuses on night time photography and imagery and comes with a 64MP main camera and an RGBW sensor/glass lens co-developed with Samsung, for accurately capturing bright, clear images and portraits in less-than-optimal lighting situations. Moreover, the four rear flashlights, along with an advanced algorithm, recognize low-light conditions and provide the necessary light to effectively fill shadows or dark areas. Other interesting features include a 2X optical zoom lens, OIS+EIS Stabilization, Portrait mode, AI face beauty technology, etc.

TECNO CAMON 19 Pro features a 6.8-inch FHD+ display and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It flaunts an extremely thin bezel that gives you an expansive visual experience. Here’s the first look at the Motorola Edge 30 Lite

Just a couple of days ago, we had covered a report that revealed the price and color variants of the Motorola Edge 30 Lite. Now, a new leak has finally offered us a first look at the Moto Edge 30 Lite’s design in all its glory.

The leaked image was shared by 91Mobiles earlier today (22nd June 2022). The report also stated that an upcoming smartphone model for the company’s flagship Edge lineup will carry the codename Miami. This model is believed to be the Edge 30 Lite, which as the name suggests, will be the more affordable entry in the Edge 30 series. And now, we have finally have an image of the handset as well, revealing its entire rear design.

Although, the report also revealed that the front will sport a 6.28 inch display. Arriving at the back, the device features a dual camera setup, which is odd considering the Lite model is still a part of the high end Edge series. Right now, brands are even offering triple and quad camera modules on the back at the mid range segment as well. These two sensors will reportedly consist of a 64 megapixel primary sensor and a 13 megapixel secondary shooter that might be an ultra wide angle lens.

The leak also revealed the color variants of the Edge 30 Lite, which is in line with our previous reports and includes Moonless Night, Very Peri, Opal Silver, and Green Fig options. Under the hood, the handset will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC that is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Notably, the display will also support 120Hz refresh rate. This is all the information we have at the moment, so stay tuned for more updates.

Yesterday, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 (aka Mi Band 7, Xiaomi Band 7) for European markets. At the event, the company also announced three more products. One of them was the Xiaomi TV A2 series. Let’s take a look at this new smart TV range from the firm.

Xiaomi TV A2 Series Specifications

At the end of May, Xiaomi debuted the Xiaomi TV F2 series running Amazon’s Fire OS with the Fire TV interface. Less than a month later, the company has now introduced the Xiaomi TV A2 series with the Android TV operating system.

The Xiaomi TV A2 lineup comes in four sizes, such as 32-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch. Whereas, the Xiaomi TV F2 family arrives in three sizes as it is not offered in a 32-inch variant.

All the size versions sport an LED-backlit LCD panel. Other than the 32-inch model which has an HD-ready (1366 x 768 pixels), the remaining variants flaunt a 4K (3840 x 2160) canvas.

All of them have a 60Hz refresh rate and a 178° viewing angle. However, the 4K models also carry support for 10-bit color depth, MEMC, HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision.

They are powered by a quad-core chipset featuring ARM Cortex-A55 cores. But the 32-inch variant has an inferior ARM Mali G31 MP2 GPU instead of ARM Mali G52 MP2 like other models.

Further, all of them feature a unibody design with a metal frame. They come with Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x USB 2.0, AV composite, optical audio port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and CI slot. The 4K models offer 3 x HDMI (1 x eARC) and dual-band WiF but the HD model comes with 2 X HDMI (1 x eARC), DTMB port, and single-band WiFi.

Though all of them carry support for Dolby Audio and DTS HD, the 32-inch model houses 2 x 10W speakers instead of 2 x 12W speakers like the others. Anyway, all variants come with Google Assistant (via remote control), Chromecast Built-in, Miracast, and support for leading streaming platforms.

Xiaomi TV A2 Series Price and Availability

Xiaomi has only revealed the price of the 55-inch variant so far. This version of the Xiaomi TV A2 will retail at €529 in Europe. There’s no official word on availability yet.

On the other hand, the smaller models should cost below the aforementioned price tag.

Nothing Phone (1) bags TUV SUD certification ahead of July 12 Launch

The much-hyped Nothing Phone (1) will be unveiled at an event on Tuesday 12 July called Return to Instinct. Ahead of the imminent launch, Phone (1) has received TUV SUD safety certification. Moreover, a screenshot of Flipkart code has also been leaked which suggests the listing of the smartphone’s accessories. We know very little about the actual hardware specs for the handset. However, its design and appearance are revealed by the company.

A tweet by popular tipster Mukul Sharma suggests that the Nothing Phone (1) has been listed on the TUV SUD certification platform with model number A063. Sharma also shared a screenshot of the Flipkart code which reveals that the accessories of the Phone (1) will be available for sale on Flipkart. The TUV SUD certification did not reveal any new information about the smartphone.

As mentioned, The Nothing Phone (1) will be launched on July 12 in London. A recent video by Youtuber Marques Brownlee gave us a good look at how this phone is going to try and stand out. The video revealed the front of the Phone which shows the Phone has a punch-hole placed at the upper-left corner of the display.

The front of the smartphone is “nothing” special. However, the back sure does look interesting. You can’t view the hardware components as we’ve seen in previous HTC or Xiaomi phones but it does have some elements of translucency.

The smartphone has LED lights on the back which I personally found very cool. The lights are called “Glyph Interface” and they come with loads of customization options. For example, you can customize it to glow with the beat of the ringtone. Read more about it here.

The LED lights and transparent design are compelling features but the success of the smartphone will depend on its hardware and performance.

Last month, Sony announced its new mid-range smartphone dubbed Sony Xperia 10 IV for the European market, marking the fourth generation of the device.

Now, the company has started taking pre-orders for the Sony Xperia 10 IV in the UK. The phone’s pricing starts at starting at £429 and the company is also offering free TWS earbuds to those who pre-order the device.

The Sony Xperia 10 IV features a 6-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ screen resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It offers a brighter Triluminous panel which the company claims is 50 percent brighter than its predecessor. It also has Gorilla Glass Victus for protection.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, an upgrade compared to the Snapdragon 690 found in its predecessor. This new processor is manufactured using a 6nm process. It packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the smartphone features a 12-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel 2x telephoto lens. It comes with features like tweaked Superior Auto mode, Auto HDR, a dedicated Night mode, and more. On the front side, there’s an 8-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

Other features on the device include a 3.5mm headphone jack, LDAC support, 360 Audio, and a 360 Reality Audio Upmix to transform stereo into surround sound. The phone is also IP68 rated to make it water and dust-resistant.

It runs the latest Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own custom user interface on top. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and comes with 30W fast charging. Similar to several devices launched recently, this one too doesn’t come with a charger in the box.
