Realme Watch SZ100 to launch in India this month, color options revealed

Over the last couple of years, various smartphone makers have started developing and releasing their own smart wearables and other hearables. Realme was one such brands, and now, a new report has suggested that its latest smartwatch is set to launch soon for the Indian market.

The news arrives from industry sources close to the matter (Via MySmartPrice). The Chinese smartphone brand is reportedly planning on launching a new smartwatch soon, which will be the Realme Watch SZ100. This model is rumored to launch in India later this month. It will be releasing around the end of this month, and also had its color options revealed. As per the report, the smartwatch will come in two variants, including Magic Gray and Lake Blue.

Unfortunately, apart from the color options and supposed launch timeline, finer details regarding the Realme Watch SZ100 is still unknown. So, we have no idea what specifications it might feature. Although, we can make some educated guesses based on its predecessor, the Watch S100 that was launched in India back in March 2022. This model sported a 1.69 inch display that had a button on the side for navigation. The panel was squarish in shape and had rounded corners with a metallic frame.

It arrived with modern health tracking features like heart rate sensor, SpO2 blood oxygen monitoring, skin temperature tracking, and more. The smartwatch offered up to 12 days of battery life and IP68 water and dust resistance as well. In other words, we can expect a similar design with the upcoming Watch SZ100 and some features to make a return as well. So stay tuned for more updates.

ASUS has a successful lineup of ZenBook series laptops in the market, and the company has now launched two of its new notebooks in the Indian market — ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition and ZenBook 14 OLED

The ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition was first introduced at CES earlier this year. It commemorates the 25th anniversary of the first laptop from the brand, dubbed ASUS P6300 laptop’s 600-day space mission.

On the other hand, the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition comes with a unique space-themed design and in a special Zero-G Titanium color. Along with a regular screen, there’s also a ZenVision 3.5-inch OLED companion display mounted externally on the lid for showing customizable messages and animations.

It features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED NanoEdge display with support for a 90Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 550-nit brightness.

The laptop is powered by the Intel 12th generation Core-series processors — i5-12500H, i7-12700H, and i9-12900H. It packs 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB or 1TB of PCIe 4.0 Performance SSD for storage.

It comes with a 720p webcam with a privacy shutter. The device also features a NumberPad, fingerprint scanner, and Wi-Fi 6E support. Apart from that, the laptop also has two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, HDMI 2.0b port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot.

The device is running the Windows 11 Home Edition operating system out-of-the-box and is powered by a 63WHrs battery that supports 100W fast charging. The ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition has a starting price of ₹1,14,990 and goes up to ₹1,69,990.

It features a 720p webcam with a privacy shutter along with stereo speakers and Smart AMP. The device runs the Windows 11 Home operating system and is powered by a 75WHrs battery with 65W fast charging support.

The ASUS ZenBook 14 OLED is priced at ₹89,990 for the model powered by a Core i5 processor while the Core i7-powered model costs ₹1,04,990 in the Indian market.

Pixel 6 and 6 Pro came with some interesting hardware but apparently, not everything impressed the users. For example, the fingerprint sensor in both devices caused major disappointment among consumers. Many complained that the on-screen fingerprint sensor does not work well and that it is slow and inaccurate. Now it is reported that Google wants to fix its mistakes and might introduce the upcoming Pixel 6a with a new and improved fingerprint sensor.

The California tech giant had tried to fix the fingerprint sensors in the previous Pixel 6 with software updates, but that hardly made any difference. There have also been rumors that Google is even going to bring Face Unlock to the Pixel 6 Pro to meet the security needs of the users.

As for the Pixel 6a, Google won’t use the same in-display sensor as the Pixel 6 series, said Rick Osterloh, Google’s senior vice president of devices and services, in an interview with Android Central. It’s yet to be seen whether the new sensor will be better or the same as the previous one.

The Pixel 6a is expected to be released on July 28. We have a good idea of the specifications of the smartphone. Let’s check it out.

The Pixel 6a is very similar to the Pixel 6 in terms of design. The smartphone features a 6.1-inch display and has a 60Hz refresh rate. It’s protected with Gorilla Glass 3. The downgraded features help to cut the cost.

The handset is powered by the same Tensor chip paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a dual-camera setup on the back featuring a 12.2-megapixel Sony IMX363 wide-angle primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. While on the front, the device has an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone is fueled by a 4,400mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. The Google Pixel 6a will land with only one storage variant and three color options, namely Black, White, and Mint Green. It will come with a price tag of $449, and the pre-orders start on July 21.

A couple of days ago, TD Tech M40 smartphone was announced and made available for pre-orders in the Chinese market. Today, the device officially went on sale in China in two different memory versions.

The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage is priced at 3,999 yuan (~$588), while the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage model costs 4,499 yuan (~$661). It comes in three color options — Ceramic White, Secret Silver, and Shiny Black.

In terms of design, the TD Tech M40 smartphone looks identical to the Huawei Mate 40, but unlike the Huawei-branded device, this one comes with support for 5G connectivity. This appears to be the workaround for the Chinese brand to have its smartphones with support for 5G available in the market.

The smartphone features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ 60Hz AMOLED display with support for HDR 10+ content and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The device is also rated for IP53 dust and water resistance to keep your phone safe from the light drizzle in the rain.

Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus SoC, which is a major upgrade compared to the outdated Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 9000, which the Chinese company is basically forced to use on its devices because of US sanctions.

In the camera department, there’s a triple-camera setup on the back panel that includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. On the front side, there’s a 13-megapixel wide-angle snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

As for the software, the phone runs the HarmonyOS 2.0 based on the Android 10 operating system. It is powered by a 4,200mAh battery and comes with 40W fast charging through the USB Type-C port and 40W wireless charging.

OPPO recently entered the tablet market by announcing the OPPO Pad tablet in China. It is a 5G-ready tablet featuring an 11-inch LCD 120Hz display and Snapdragon 870. Recent reports have revealed that the company is working on a mid-range tablet for the home market. This device appears to be the OPPO Pad Air, which has been silently made available for pre-orders starting today in China.

The above-shown images show that the OPPO Pad Air will carry support for the OPPO Pencil and will sport a single camera on the back. The company may also announce accessories like a folio keyboard case for the tablet. OPPO is yet to confirm the technical details of the tablet. However, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has seemingly revealed the key specifications of the device.

According to a recent Weibo post by DCS, the upcoming OPPO tablet will feature a 10.36-inch LCD display that offers a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 680 chipset will be present under the hood of the device, which indicates that it will be a 4G-ready device.

The tablet will house a 7,100mAh battery that will carry support for 18W fast charging. It will be equipped with Dolby Atmos tuned quad speakers. Unfortunately, it does not have any information on its cameras.

The leaker has also claimed that this device will be priced around 1,000 Yuan (~$147). He also stated that other competing brands will release new tablets with comparable pricing in China.

Hopefully, OPPO will confirm more details about the OPPO Pad Air in the coming days.

The new OnePlus phone will be unveiled through an unveiling event that will take place at 7 PM (local time) on May 17. The specifications of the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition are almost identical to those of the OPPO K10 5G. Hence, it appears that it could be powered by the Dimensity 8000 SoC. Today, Vivo confirmed that it will be announcing the Vivo S15 and S15 Pro at 7 PM (local time) on May 19. At the same event, it will also unveil the new Vivo TWS Air earbuds. The company may announce new variants or color options for Vivo Pad and Vivo Watch 2 alongside the S15 lineup and TWS Air.

The TENAA listing of the Vivo S15 has revealed that it will feature a 6.62-inch OLED FHD+ display. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform and have a 4,500mAh battery. The rear-facing triple camera unit of the phone will feature a 64-megapixel primary camera. It will be paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro/depth sensor. For selfies, it will feature a 16-megapixel front camera.

According to the rumors, the Vivo S15 Pro will arrive with a 6.56-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz screen coupled with an independent display chip, a Dimensity 8100 SoC, a 4,500mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and a 50-megapixel main camera. Both handsets will boot to the Android 12 OS with OriginOS Ocean UI on top.

A few days ago, ZTE launched its latest flagship smartphones in China — ZTE Axon 40 Pro and ZTE Axon 40 Ultra. Now, the top-end model in the lineup, dubbed ZTE Axon 40 Ultra, is available for purchase in the Chinese market.

The base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at 4,998 yuan (~$735), while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs 5,298 yuan (~$779). The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model is priced at 5,798 yuan (~$852), while the top-end model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage costs 7,298 yuan (~$1,073).

The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra features a 6.81-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 10-bit colors, and 400 PPI pixel density.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage.

In the camera department, the phone has a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 primary sensor with full-pixel omnidirectional autofocus. It is coupled with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 ultrawide camera and an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel telephoto periscope camera. On the front side, there’s a 16-megapixel under-display camera sensor.

The third-generation under-screen camera technology has an independent pixel driver, a distributed transparent circuit, and a dedicated UDC Pro screen display chip. The phone includes dual speakers with DTS Ultra support and an X-axis linear motor.

Realme‘s TechLife ecosystem brand DIZO has launched two new accessories for the Indian market. The devices include the DIZO Wireless Power i & DIZO Watch 2 Sports i. Both gadgets are targeted at the offline market which forms a bulk of consumer purchases.

The DIZO “Wireless Power i” is a neckband wireless earbuds. The product is manufactured with soft TPU materials, which ensures that you don’t feel any form of discomfort when it is worn for a long period. The silicon tips also give the user a comfortable experience while in use. The earbuds come with magnet tips that clips when they are not worn on the ears. DIZO took things a step further, adding some functionality to the magnetic tips. The tech is called Magnetic Fast Pair Technology, and it allows users to answer calls and play or pause music by pulling the buds apart or clipping them together.

In addition, the DIZO Wireless Power i packs an 11.2mm driver as well as features such as Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and a dedicated Game Mode with latency as low as 88ms. Although the Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) feature is not as effective as Active Noise Cancellation, it still guarantees distraction-free calls.

The wireless earbuds boast a 150 mAh battery that is touted to provide up to 18 hours of music playback on a single charge. DIZO says a 10-minute charge can provide up to 120 minutes of music playback, which is pretty impressive. The earbuds also come with support for Bluetooth 5.2 and packs a smart control button.

There is also support for connecting the device to the realme Link app where users can customize their user settings, upgrade the firmware, change touch features and adjust the equalizer. The app also lets users turn on/off Game Mode.

The DIZO Watch 2 Sports i packs a square-shaped compact design. The watch sports a 1.69-inch touchscreen display with up to 600 nits brightness. The watch has a shiny frame and weighs just 41.5g.

Asides from being a timepiece, the smartwatch comes with 110 sports modes that capture most of the sports that people indulge in, including swimming and other water sports. It also comes with health tracking features such as SpO2 monitor, 24×7 heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, sedentary reminder, and water reminder. It can also track a woman’s menstrual cycle. There up to 150 different watch faces on the watch from which users can choose from.

The smartwatch feature a 260mAh battery that can last up to 10 days under normal usage. The battery offers a standby time of 2 days. The watch also supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, making it easy to connect a companion smartphone seamlessly. When a smartphone is paired, users can take calls, control music, control the camera and initiate the Find My Phone feature, among other functions.

The DIZO Watch 2 Sports i has a 5 ATM water-resistance level, making it suitable for use during workout sessions without fear of it getting damaged by sweat.

As for the pricing and availability, the DIZO Wireless Power i is priced at Rs. 1499 (~$19), making it a potentially hot-selling watch. The watch comes in Classic Black, Silver Grey, and Passion Pink colors. The watch is already available in India via offline retailers.

The DIZO Watch 2 Sports i is equally affordable, with a price tag of Rs. 2599 (~$33). The neckband earbuds will be available in Classic Black, Yellow Black, and Deep Blue colors. The watch will go on sale on June 02, 2022.

Design

Naturally, the Realme Pad Mini is the most compact tablet of the duo and the easiest to use while traveling and with a low amount of space around. It is even the most lightweight one. But the Realme Pad has a more beautiful design because it sports narrower bezels around the display and a higher screen to body ratio. Both the tablets come with aluminum back, but they have a plastic frame too. In short, if you are looking for a beautiful design, then you should go for the vanilla version, otherwise, if you are looking for a compact body, then the Realme Pad Mini is definitely a better choice for your needs.

Display

The best display belongs to the original Realme Pad. It is not a high-end panel, but it is way better than the one found on its internal rival. It is an IPS LCD panel with a diagonal of 10.4 inches and a Full HD+ resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels. It is able to provide a higher level of detail and, thanks to the wider diagonal, it is more suitable for gaming, productivity, and all of those usage scenarios typical of power users. Unfortunately, these tablets do not have any fingerprint reader or other advanced methods of authentication. With the vanilla version, you get more powerful stereo speakers and narrower bezels around the display.

Specs & Software

The hardware components of these two tablets are comparable to the ones found on entry-level Android phones, but they are not disappointing. The Realme Pad is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset built at 8 nm running at a max frequency of 2 GHz, it sports up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. It is a good chipset not only for daily use but even for gaming. With the Realme Pad Mini, you get a Unisoc Tiger T616 running at a max frequency of 2 GHz, paired with up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of native storage. Still a decent hardware setup, but it can not compete with the configuration of the vanilla version in any way. Both the tablets come with optional 4G LTE connectivity and Android 11 out of the box. The vanilla version will be surely updated to Android 12, while for the Mini the update is still being discussed internally.

Camera

The rear cameras of these two tablets are exactly the same: a single sensor with a resolution of 8 MP and an f/2.0 focal aperture. What changes is the front camera: you get just 5 MP with the Mini variant, while the Realme Pad provides you with a better 8 MP sensor supporting a 105° field of view and 1080p video recording. This variant is definitely better for video calls and meetings thanks to its good front snapper.

Battery

Last but not least, with the Realme Pad, you can get a longer battery life with the Realme Pad. Why? It is very simple: it has a bigger battery, with a capacity of 7100 mAh. Given that the processor is built with the same production process, the difference in terms of energy consumption should be minimal. Note that both these tablets support 18W fast charging and reverse charging.

Price

You can actually find the Realme Pad for about €190/$197 thanks to online street prices, and the Realme Pad Mini just debuted in the European market with a starting price tag of €160/$166. The Realme Pad wins the comparison thanks to a better display, chipset, and a bigger battery, but the Realme Pad Mini is more compact (big added value) and affordable.

Honor is extending its latest flagship smartphones to the European market. The company has unveiled the Honor Magic 4 series for the UK market. This follows the earlier launch of the flagships in China. However, only the Magic 4 Pro made an entry under the flagship segment, while the Magic 4 was missing from the lineup. Instead, the company showcased two midrange models – the Magic 4 Lite 5G and Magic 4 Lite. The Honor Magic 4 lineup went on sale in China in February 2022. They are powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. They come with a camera setup capable of delivering high-quality photos and videos.

The Honor Magic 4 Pro sports a 6.81-inch curved LTPO OLED panel with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits peak brightness. The phone also comes with Honor’s proprietary Image Engine chip.

The Magic 4 Pro features a symmetric external design. The flagship has a firm and comfortable grip. The Magic 4 Pro’s pill-shaped cutout houses dual front cameras while at the rear, there is a large and unique circular rear camera array. Further, the Honor Magic 4 Pro packs an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core chip onboard pairs with the Adreno 730 GPU. The device also features GPU Turbo X technology for gaming applications. The processor is paired with an 8GB RAM with 256GB storage which is the only memory configuration available in the UK.

The Honor Magic 4 Lite was recently launched as a rebadged model of the Honor X30/Honor X9 5G. The device is now hitting the UK for the first time, and it does that with a bang. The Magic 4 Lite is available in 4G and 5G versions, powered by two different processors.

The vanilla Magic 4 Lite is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor On the other hand, the Magic 4 Lite is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G processor. The processor on both models pairs with 6GB of RAM, while there is 128GB of internal storage on the models.

Pricing & Availability

As for the price, the Honor Magic 4 Pro is priced at £949.99. The flagship comes in Black and Cyan options and is available via Honor UK’s website.

The Honor Magic 4 Lite is priced at £249.99 while the Magic 4 Lite 5G comes in at a decent £ 299.99 price tag. The two models are available in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Titanium Silver color options. The models are also available right away via Honor’s UK website.

Sony has now officially unveiled the WH-1000XM5 headphones, which are the successor to the Sony XM4. The new headphones have been the subject of intense speculations and leaks over the past few weeks. Realme is preparing to launch the Narzo 50 5G series smartphones in India. The Realme Narzo 50 5G and Narzo 50 Pro 5G have been subject to many leaks so far. Amazon India even has a dedicated microsite for the Narzo 50 Pro 5G which has teased features like a liquid cooling system and more.

Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G Specs (rumored)

The Narzo 50 Pro 5G is expected to come with a 6.4-inch FHD+ display which will likely be an AMOLED panel. Realme will pair the Dimensity 920 with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will also feature a big 5,000mAh battery.

It is tipped to feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and another auxiliary camera with a 2-megapixel resolution. On the front, the device is said to house a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

Swappable battery e-scooter manufacturer Gogoro is making inroads into the Israeli market. The company is launching its e-scooters and battery swapping platform in Tel Aviv. Gogoro recently partnered with distributor Metro Motor and Paz Group, both in Israel to deliver its electric scooters and battery swapping stations in the country.

Metro Motor is a popular two-wheeler distributor in Israel while Paz Group is an Israeli gas and energy company. Tel Aviv will be the first city to get the full complement of the Gogoro technology, but this will spread to other parts of Israel subsequently. Gogoro will be bringing its sustainable mobility solutions to the metropolitan area of the capital city in the summer, and expand to other cities. When operational, riders in Tel Aviv will enjoy the convenient and user-friendly swapping system, offering greater efficiency and shorter waiting times.

Riders will quickly swap their depleted batteries for fully charged ones within a few seconds. Gogoro is further developing new technology for its batteries deployed in swapping stations. It will be a lithium ceramic battery that could ramp up current capacity by as much as 140% up to 2.5kWh.The Taiwanese company has a fast-expanding network of dealerships and swapping stations across Asia. The company’s network currently includes more than 10,000 battery swapping platforms spread across more than 2,000 locations. It claims to be managing over 350,000 battery swaps in a day and 275 million swaps overall.

Again, Ola S1 Pro enters reverse mode at full speed leaving the rider seriously injured

A suspected software glitch has made an Ola electric scooter go into reverse mode at full speed. The rider was a 65 years old man and he was hospitalized with head and body injuries. The Ola S1 Pro has been in the news due to a number of issues leading to fire incidents previously.

This is the third reported incident of the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter with a possible software malfunction. The e-scooter was being parked by the rider when it reversed at about 50km/h, severely injuring the rider in the process. The news came to the fore when the owner of the scooter, who is the son of the rider, posted the story on LinkedIn. The owner, Palav Maheshwari said the accident was due to a software bug. He said that his dad was only taking the scooter from outside the house to park inside. The rider was reported to have banged his head on a wall with almost eh skull open and a fracture in his left arm.

Maheshwari said that he took delivery of the scooter on January 15, 2022, and he experienced a similar problem on the second day of the delivery itself. He stated that he did not pay attention to the issue since the scooter was new and the issue did not occur again. In addition, the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) of the scooter was recently fixed by Ola Electric and Maheshwari expected all issues relating to software glitches would have been corrected. The VCU upgrade in the Ola S1 Pro was due mainly to battery drainage issues in the e-scooter.

As these negative incidents continue to pile up, Ola Electric has to do a proper overview of the model. The Pune fire incident had led to the recall of several S1 Pro units, but it seems there are still more issues with the vehicle. On the issue of software glitches leading to the full-speed reverse of the vehicle, Ola is yet to recall the S1 Pro. Regulatory agencies may have to come in so that the issue does not escalate any further.

Moto G52j 5G with Snapdragon 695 spotted on Geekbench

Motorola recently launched the Moto G52 smartphone in India featuring a 90Hz pOLED display and the Snapdragon 680 SoC. Now, a 5G variant of the Moto G52 has been spotted on Geekbench and Camera FV5 website.

The upcoming smartphone dubbed the Moto G52j 5G has appeared on Geekbench with model number XT2219-1. The Geekbench listing reveals that the smartphone has an octa-core processor with two performance cores clocked at 2.21GHz and the remaining six efficiency cores clocked at 1.80GHz.

This is the Snapdragon 695 chipset which has appeared in multiple budget range 5G smartphones this year. Other than that, the listing reveals that the smartphone operates on Android 11-based OS and comes with 6GB of RAM. Coming to its Geekbench results, the smartphone manages to score 663 points in the single-core test and 1703 points in the multi-core test.

The Camera FV5 listing of the Moto G52j 5G revealed that the smartphone has a 50-megapixel primary camera capable of shooting 12.5MP pixel-binned images. It also reveals that the camera has an f/1.8 aperture.

The device has also been spotted on the WiFi Alliance website with the model number XT2219-1. The listing confirms that the device supports dual-band WiFi at 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

Lenovo-owned Motorola brand today held a launch event where it announced the Motorola Edge X30 Champion Edition as well as the mid-range Motorola Edge 30. The company has also announced a mid-range model under the Moto G series. The model is the Moto G82 which is no stranger in “Leakland”. The phone had earlier received multiple certifications last month including China’s 3C certification.

Design and display

Motorola’s smartphones are known for their sleek design and the Moto G82 is no exception. The smartphone packs a cool design, similar to those of models that the company released this year. The device sports a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The refresh rate makes the device a good candidate for extreme mobile gaming. The display is also surrounded by ultra-thin bezels on all sides. In terms of the dimension, the device measures 160.89 x 7.99 x 74.46mm, weighing 173g.

The rear panel utilizes a textured design similar t what we saw on the Moto G and Edge models that were launched earlier this year. The device packs a triple camera setup at the rear with a module similar to that of previous Moto G and Edge models launched this year. The Moto G82 will be available in Meteorite Gray and White Lily hue. The device also has a water-resistant build rated IP52, meaning it can withstand occasional drops of water spilling on it but not be submerged in water.

The Moto G82 packs a Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and there is 128GB of expandable storage onboard. The processor comes with a 5G chipset and also brings support for Bluetooth 5.1.

Under the hood, the Moto G82 crams a 5000mAh battery and has support for 30W wired fast-charging. For interface, the G82 runs on the latest Android 12 OS out-of-the-box. The phone also comes with a side fingerprint scanner embedded under the power button.

Camera

In terms of the camera, the Motorola Moto G82 comes with a 50MP f/1.8 sensor with OIS and Quad Pixel technology. The main camera is assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfie, there is a 16MP sensor housed on the punch-hole opening at the front.

Pricing & Availability

As for the price, the Motorola Moto G82 carries a decent price tag of will be available across selected markets in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. The phone costs €329.99.

India’s TWS shipments register 66 percent YoY growth in Q1, four out of top five brands are homegrown

True Wireless Earphones shipments in India grew 66 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2022. The report comes from Counterpoint Research. Indian brands logged a whopping 72 percent share, which is up from 57 percent in the corresponding period last year in the TWS segment. Four out of the top five spots were captured by homegrown brands.

The growth is said to be driven by the strong value proposition offered by local companies to rival the Chinese brands. They launched TWS earphones with the popular ANC feature and priced aggressively. Growing emphasis on domestic manufacturing also led to a 19 percent decline in the average selling price in Q1 2022, reveals Counterpoint Research.

boAt led the TWS market with 34 percent share and for the seventh consecutive quarter. The Airdopes 131 was the brand’s most popular earbud, with a 32 percent share. Noise came in the second spot with a 214 percent YoY growth. The Airbuds Mini was the company’s best-selling TWS model with 38 percent market share. Boult Audio bagged the third spot with its highest share of 7 percent. pTron was the fourth brand with a 5 percent share due to its strong presence in the entry-level segment (~less than Rs 1,000). The top five list ended with Realme registering a 4 percent market share. The Buds Q2 Neo drove the brand’s majority of shipments followed by Buds Air 2.

Apart from the Indian brands, OPPO grew 365 percent YoY due to affordable TWS offerings. Apple maintained its leadership position in the premium segment. Carl Pei-helmed Nothing also maintained its position in the top five premium brands due to its innovative design and features.

The Counterpoint Research also adds that eight out of the ten models were sold online, with Flipkart dominating the channel.

Now, according to a MySmartPrice report, a new POCO handset with model number 22041216UG has made an appearance on the FCC database. This new smartphone is possibly a rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro which is expected to soon launch in the Chinese market.

According to the FCC certification database, the POCO 22041216UG smartphone has MIUI 13 as its operating system and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage configurations.

The listing does not reveal any other specifications, however, assuming that this indeed is a rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro, we can expect it to come with the Dimensity 8000 chipset. It will likely come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ display that might offer support for up to a 144Hz refresh rate.

It will pack a 4,890mAh (rated capacity) battery coupled with 120W fast charging. Currently, there are no details available regarding the camera setup of the device, but we expect more information to surface soon as the device is scheduled to launch sometime this month.

The laptops sport up to 12th Gen Intel Core H Range or AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processors. They also have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800S mobile graphics coupled with DDR5 memory and Gen 4 PCIe SSD storage. Both the laptops are powered by either a 99.99Wh or 71Wh battery with up to a 230W AC adapter. You can also charge the devices up to 135W with a USB-C adapter.

The Legion Slim 7 and Slim 7i come with an improved cooling system. The cooling system now offers 29% better cooling. The laptops have thinner fan blades, faster fans, and an extra heat pipe dedicated to the GPU’s VRAM.

As far as the display is concerned, the Legion Slim 7 features a 116″ WXQGA 16:10 display, and the Legion Slim 7i has a 16″ WXQGA display with up to a variable refresh rate or Mini-LED option.
