The BIS listing had appeared in January. In the same month, the global variant of the POCO X4 5G was spotted in the database of Thailand’s NBTC authority. The Geekbench listing of the device revealed that POCO X4 5G with Snapdragon 695 chipset, 6 GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. These specs suggest that the POCO X4 could be similar to its Pro sibling.

Xiaomi has a wide range of products available in the market even though the company is known for its smartphones. In line with that, the Chinese company has launched a new projector in its home market — Xiaomi Full-Color Laser Theater.
The newly launched product is priced at 6,999 yuan which roughly converts to $1,099 but during the pre-sale period, the device will be available for purchase at a discounted rate of 6,499 yuan, which is about $1,020. It is expected to start shipping on 1st April in China.
Unlike the other projectors launched by Xiaomi earlier, this new Xiaomi Full-Color Laser Theater uses RGB three-color laser light source for direct imaging. It is said to improve the transparency of the picture through LCoC liquid crystal on silicon technology.
The company has added that it has passed the SGS low blue light certification, and the blue light intensity in the range of 415nm-455nm has been effectively controlled, making it healthy to watch the content.
Xiaomi Full-Color Laser Theater projector adopts the speaker design of double full frequency, double high speaker units, and has also passed the certification of DTS and Dolby. It also cooperates with the WANOS China panoramic sound virtual sound field to deliver an excellent sound quality.
Internally, it is powered by Amlogic T982 quad-core CPU along with 2GB of DDR4 RAM. In the software department, the device is running the company’s own MIUI TV and has a MEMC motion compensation base and the AIPQ algorithm for optimized image quality, which makes up for the shortcomings of laser projection. The projector has three HDMI interfaces as well as USB 3.0, SPDIOF, and LAN.

Apple iPhone 14 series, which is expected to go official in the month of September this year, had entered the initial production trials last month. Now, the iPhone 14 models have reportedly entered the EVT phase.
For those who are unaware, EVT stands for Engineering Validation Test. The development comes from Haitong International Securities’ analyst Jeff Pu and was reported by 9to5Mac.
As per the report, the lockdown in Shenzhen, China has not impacted the production timeline for the company as the Foxconn factory in that particular location accounts for only 10 percent of the global iPhone production.
Given the iPhone 14 series has entered the Engineering Validation Test, it implies that the company has locked down the final design as well the specifications for the models. The test is to ensure that the product performs and looks as intended.
If the recently leaked schematics for the iPhone 14 Pro series models are anything to go by, then the company will have minor changes in terms of design, which should not be visible to the naked eye. However, the camera bump is said to be a bit thicker as Apple is opting for a larger 48MP camera sensor instead of the regular 12MP.
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will have a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera as well as the Face ID. These models will also be powered by the Apple A16 or A16 Pro Bionic chip manufactured using a 4nm process.
On the other hand, the regular iPhone 14 and 14 Max are said to keep using the notch on the top of the screen and be powered by the Apple A15 Bionic or the A16 Bionic which will just be a rebranded A15 processor.
Xiaomi first launched the MIJIA M365 electric scooter in 2017 and the product was a huge hit when it went on sale. Apart from bearing a minimalist yet sleek design, the scooter is seen as a cheap and reliable way to commute daily in crowded urban cities. Since then, the brand has continued to remodel the M365 with the addition of more features and other upgrades. The Chinese company has now unveiled the MIJIA Electric Scooter 3 Lite (Youth Edition). The scooter starts at 1,899 yuan (~$298) and will go on sale from April 5.
The MIJIA Electric Scooter 3 Lite’s frame is said to be 10mm thinner than that of the Mijia Electric Scooter 1s which was launched in 2020. The reduced frame size is said to offer the scooter a lower center of gravity and a more stable ride. The body is made of high-strength aluminum alloy material, which makes the body lighter and easier, and more convenient to carry.
In terms of design, the MIJIA Electric Scooter 3 Lite removes the complicated design of the forehead to create a visual minimalist and light feeling. At the same time, the light is moved down to “reduce the burden” on the forehead. The screen ratio of the instrument cluster is also increased and you get an optimized screen control experience.
Furthermore, the new MIJIA electric scooter has a 13% increase in climbing ability, a maximum speed of 25km/h, and a rated power of 250W. The scooter’s range is just 20km making it suitable for short commutes.
The MIJIA Electric Scooter 3 Lite is available in black and white, and red is used for point-leveling. At the same time, the front hub cover is set to add retro elements.
A few days ago, a new version of the Redmi 10 debuted in the Indian market: the Redmi 10 2022. There are a lot of differences between this model and its predecessor. But meanwhile, the rivals of this phone have totally changed since last year. Now, if you are looking for a device in the same price range, you can find handsets such as the Realme Narzo 50A and the Samsung Galaxy A12. And it is not easy to understand which one is the best, especially if you do not know a lot about phones. That is the reason why we wrote this comparison between the specifications of the Redmi 10, the Realme Narzo 50A, and the Samsung Galaxy A12.
Xiaomi Redmi 10 vs Realme Narzo 50A vs Samsung Galaxy A12
You should not expect a great build quality from an entry-level. All of these phones are made of polycarbonate and they are pretty chunky. I personally prefer the design of the Redmi 10 2022 over the Realme Narzo 50A because it comes with a cleaner look. The Samsung Galaxy A12 has an even more minimalistic look on the rear side. The Realme Narzo 50A is definitely the most original one with its rear texture.
Display
If you are looking for the most advanced display, you should go for the Redmi 10 2022 or the Realme Narzo 50A without thinking twice. They have an IPS HD+ panel, while Samsung Galaxy A12 has an inferior PLS display. The Redmi 10 has a wider display with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, better for gaming and productivity.
Hardware/Software
Besides sporting the most advanced panel, the Redmi 10 2022 has the best hardware setup. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy A12 comes with up to 6 GB of RAM, but it is fueled by the inferior MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. The Realme Narzo 50A sits right in the middle with its MediaTek Helio G85 and 4 GB of RAM. Note that Realme Narzo 50A and Redmi 10 2022 run Android 11 out of the box, while Samsung Galaxy A12 runs Android 10 natively, but it can be upgraded.
Camera
If you need the best cameras, then choose the Realme Narzo 50A. It is equipped with a 50 MP main camera and a pair of 2 MP lenses for macros and depth calculation. The Redmi 10 has the same main camera but lacks the macro sensor, while the Samsung Galaxy A12 has an inferior main camera but it comes with an ultrawide sensor.
Battery
The longest battery life is provided by the Realme Narzo 50A because it sports a bigger 6000 mAh battery and a smaller display.
Xiaomi Redmi 10 vs Realme Narzo 50A vs Samsung Galaxy A12: Price
Redmi 10 2022 is priced at RS. 10,999 / $132 in India, Samsung Galaxy A12 starts from Rs. 11,600 / $139, and Realme Narzo 50A begins at Rs. 11,499. With the actual prices, Redmi 10 wins the comparison due to its bigger display and better chipset.
Sony is preparing to introduce a new videogame subscription service for the PlayStation this week. The service has been under development with the codename “Spartacus” and is said to be Sony’s answer to the Xbox Game Pass.
According to a Bloomberg report, the new service will combine the Playstation Now and Playstation Plus services and will offer multiple tiers which will include modern games and classics from older PlayStation eras.
The Xbox Game Pass by Microsoft is a roaring success due to the value for money it provides. With a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly subscription, users can download and play any game that has been made available on the Game Pass. In this regard, Microsoft does an excellent job by offering a massive library of games as well as making top titles available on day one of the release (like Halo Infinite) on the Game Pass. Sony, however, is not expected to go this route and will likely keep some games purchasable only for a certain amount of time after release. So users might not be able to experience upcoming titles like God of War Ragnarök on this service anytime soon.
Another major selling point of the Xbox Game Pass is its availability on PC. This area will also be a challenge for Sony as they have a considerably longer list of console-exclusive games compared to Xbox. The company has recently announced that some of the previously Playstation Exclusive games will soon come to PC, however, it will likely take some time before Sony is able to make a comprehensive enough library to attract PC gamers.
MediaMarkt is a retail store from Germany and it has listed the OnePlus 10 Pro on its website. The flagship smartphone is priced at €899(~$988) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant. To recall, the predecessor OnePlus 9 Pro was priced this much at its launch.
OnePlus 10 Pro Volcano Black
Having the same launch price as the predecessor is great for new as well as existing OnePlus buyers. However, the company is yet to confirm its pricing officially, so do take the aforementioned price with a grain of salt.
Nonetheless, the listing also reveals the phone in the Volcanic Black color. We also expect it to come in a Green shade. Regarding its specs, the smartphone initially debuted in China with a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED screen. It has a 1Hz to 120Hz variable refresh rate, a 3216 x 1440 pixels resolution, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone has Hasselblad triple camera system at the rear with a 48MP IMX789 main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. It has a 32MP selfie snapper on the front.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC and 50W AirVOOC fast charging support. The phone boots on Android 12 OS out of the box.

In recent months, WhatsApp has been testing out some highly requested features in its Beta builds like the ability to hide your last seen from specific contacts and adding message reactions. And now, the platform has started testing out a feature that will allow users to share bigger-sized files and media with others over their platform.
According to a WABetaInfo report, WhatsApp will soon begin testing out the “Media File Size” feature in Argentina which will allow users to share media files up to 2GB in size. The feature will initially be limited to Beta testers in Argentina and it is not known if the feature will make it to other regions anytime soon.
As for the feature, it will soon be available on both Android and iOS devices of Beta testers in Argentina. Currently, it is only possible to share files up to 100MB due to the restrictions placed by the company. This new feature is more of a necessity in modern times as the size of media files like videos has kept increasing and sending over something you shot on your device to a friend is always a hassle. Additionally, rising comparator apps like Telegram have always offered file transfer limits way above what WhatsApp offers and upped it to 2GB back in 2020.
Relatedly, WhatsApp recently started rolling out the multi-device support feature to stable builds. For those unaware, this feature will remove the online connection requirement on your smartphone for the chatting platform to be used on multiple devices. Previously, users had to have a stable internet connection on their smartphones to be able to use the messaging service on any other device like a desktop PC, or a laptop. In other words, it had to be linked to your smartphone to have the conversations synced.

The use of electronic tracking devices to commit criminal offenses has been on the increase recently. Apple has had to update its AirTag to create additional layers of security and safety against being used as a snooping device or for criminal purposes. It seems there are other weird ways of achieving unauthorized tracking as a Nashville, Tennessee man has been arrested for tracking using an Apple Watch.
Lawrence Welch, a 29-year old resident of Nashville was arrested for tracking the location of his girlfriend by attaching an Apple Watch to the wheel of her car and using a tracking app. Welch was subsequently charged with attaching an electronic tracking device to a vehicle. Welch had turned up at a Family Safety Center while an order of protection was being sought for the unnamed girlfriend. The victim claimed that death threats were made by Welch against her multiple times before the Police arrived at the scene.
The victim also mentioned that she and Welch had used Life360 to track each other’s movement in the past, but she turned it off whenever she was going to any of the Family Safety Centers. Security officials at the Center found Welch crouching by the victim’s car wheel which aroused suspicion. Officers later discovered the Apple Watch on the wheel which Welch confirmed was his. The incident is the latest in several similar domestic assault issues since July 2021. He already has two domestic assaults to grapple with already. The incident will further expand the need for greater scrutiny of the Apple Watch as an unusual stalking device.
Ola Electric has launched an investigation into a fire incident involving one of its products. There had been a viral video of a Pune-registered Ola S1 Pro electric scooter that was seen burning by the side of a road where it was parked. It is unclear what triggered the fire on the electric scooter, but the official investigation by Ola Electric will reveal the details.
The particular vehicle was a blue-colored Ola S1 Pro with Pune registration and the video begins with footage of smoke emanating from under its bodywork. The scooter then burst into flames which quickly engulfed the entire vehicle. The owner of the vehicle is believed to be unhurt in the incident. An official statement from Ola Electric on the fire incident stated that the company was aware of the incident in Pune and it is investigating to understand the root cause of the fire incident. The company says it will update the public with the necessary information as to its investigation proceeds, and it is in constant touch with the owner of the vehicle.
The scooter was first engulfed in smoke before the fire
Ola Electric insists that vehicle safety is of paramount importance and the company is committed to the highest quality standards in its products. There are no details at this time on what caused the fire in the Ola S1 Pro e-scooter. However, an overheating battery could trigger a fire, although it is still speculative to pinpoint the cause without an investigation. This may just be a remote incident that does not affect the leading position of the Ola S1 Pro since it was released last year and actual deliveries commenced in December 2021.
