It was revealed last month that OPPO is working on a new phone called the OPPO F19s. At the beginning of this month, an OPPO phone with model number CPH2233 was spotted at the Bluetooth SIG certification with the OPPO F19s moniker. Now, a fresh leak by MySmartPricehas revealed the key specifications of the handset
OPPO F19s specifications
According to the publication, the OPPO F19s will be equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a punch-hole panel that will offer a 20:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ resolution. It has a Sony IMX471 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
OPPO F19
The rear camera of the phone features a 48-megapixel main camera and a pair of 2-megapixel sensors, which could be used for adding depth effects and macro shots. It will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
There is no word on the processor of the OPPO F19s. Probably, it will feature the same Snapdragon 662 SoC that fuels the existing OPPO F19. The F19s will ship with 6 GB of RAM and will carry support for up to 5 GB of virtual RAM. The handset will run on ColorOS 11.1 based Android 11, which will bring a new feature called Low Battery SMS. It will send out an SMS with the current location to a pre-set contact.
The F19s will be sporting the so-called “OPPO Glow Design,” which may be similar to the anti-glare and sparkling design offered by Reno 6 lineup’s reno Glow design. The F19s will measure 7.95mm in thickness and weigh 175 grams. The handset may debut at some point in the coming month.
The excitement and the anticipation for the Pixel 6 series are pretty high, and rightly so. Google is going with a new design for the flagships which will also feature the first Google’s own mobile chipset called Google Tensor. There have been lots of details about the processor with a recent one revealing the CPU and GPU details. Fresh info has now surfaced and it paints a different picture about how powerful the chipset really is.
The folks at XDA-Developers have been able to get details of the Tensor chipset from an unnamed source who has a real Pixel 6 Pro in his hands. The source was able to confirm that the Tensor processor does have a 2+2+4 CPU core arrangement. He also confirmed that the frequencies are correct.
The interesting bit, which is the exact CPU parts, was discovered in a system file and they reveal a major difference in the CPU cores from what was reported earlier. The CPU cores are said to be 2x Arm Cortex-X1 cores clocked at 2.802GHz, 2x Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.53GHz, and 4x Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.80GHz. The earlier report had stated that it has the newer 2x Cortex-A78 cores!
It is surprising that the Tensor chip is using Arm’s older performance cores but the XDA Developers report says that the info was cross-checked against other devices to confirm that they had not misinterpreted the details they got.
Other details confirmed for the Pixel 6 Pro are 12GB of RAM, 128GB of UFS storage, an AV1 decoder that is hardware-accelerated by the Google Tensor chip. It also supports aptX and aptX HD Bluetooth audio codecs as well as Sony’s LDAC codec.

Design
The iQOO 8 Pro is one step forward if we talk about the design. It is the only one with a curved display at the edges making the design more elegant. Further, it comes in that outstanding white color variant with BMW M Motorsport branding and a leather back which is definitely unique and catchy. But you should not underestimate the Legend color variant of the iQOO 7 which may seem even more original. However, the iQOO 7 lacks a curved screen, just like the vanilla iQOO 8.
Display
The iQOO 8 Pro has a superior display as well as one of the best AMOLED panels in the whole smartphone market. It is the first phone equipped with the Samsung E5 AMOLED display coming with the LTPO technology enabling an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. The panel has a Quad HD+ resolution with 1440 x 3200 pixels, the HDR10+ certification, and Dolby Vision, as well as a very high 1500 nit peak brightness. Last but not least, it has a very wide display with a diagonal of 6.78 inches and a fast ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader. With iQOO 7 and iQOO 8, you get midrange AMOLED panels with Full HD+ resolutions, HDR10, and 120 Hz.
Hardware/Software
iQOO 8 Pro is superior even when it comes to the hardware, even though the difference is not big. The handset features a Snapdragon 888+ mobile platform, a slight upgrade of the Snapdragon 888 found on the iQOO 7 and the iQOO 8. All the phones feature up to 12 GB of RAM, but only the iQOO 8 Pro reaches 512 GB of internal storage in the most expensive memory configuration. The handsets run Android 11 out of the box customized by OriginOS.
Camera
The iQOO 8 Pro is the most advanced camera phone: it sports a triple camera with a 50 MP main sensor including gimbal OIS, a 16 MP telephoto sensor with OIS, and a great 48 MP ultrawide camera. You get a 50 MP main camera with the iQOO 8 too, but the secondary sensors are inferior: there is a 13 MP telephoto camera and a 13 MP ultrawide camera. The secondary sensors of the iQOO 7 are the same as the iQOO 8, but the main camera is an inferior 48 MP snapper.
Battery
The iQOO 8 Pro has the biggest battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh, but it is not always able to provide a longer battery life than iQOO 8 because its display has higher energy consumption. The iQOO 7 has a way smaller 4000 mAh battery we do not recommend if you are looking for great battery life. All the phones support 120W fast charging.
Vivo iQOO 8 vs Vivo iQOO 8 Pro vs Vivo iQOO 7: Price
iQOO 7 costs €480/$567 in China, iQOO 8 starts from €500/$591, and iQOO 8 Pro starts from €660/$780. The iQOO 8 Pro is a superior device in every aspect, but you can find the best street prices for the iQOO 7 which is able to offer the highest value for money. The iQOO 8 sits in the middle: good quality price ratio but less than iQOO 7, and great specifications but inferior to the iQOO 8 Pro.

No official confirmation or denial has been registered by Fairphone at this time, and it’s unclear whether the listing of the Fairphone 4 5G is still sustained on the Swiss retailer’s website at this time.

Coming on the back of the release of the Moto E20, Motorola is priming up two more models that should launch any time from now. The two models on the lineup of subsequent releases are the Moto E30 and E40. However, the Motorola Moto E40 has just been spotted on Geekbench, with some details also available about the device. This follows the appearance of the Moto E30 on Geekbench a few days back.
The Geekbench listing follows an earlier appearance of the Moto E40 on NBTC, FCC, and TUV. These important certifications point in only one direction- that we are very close to the launch of the Moto E40 smartphone. According to the Geekbench running sub-library information, the Moto E40 sports a 1.8GHz eight-core Unisoc chip, and will offer 4GB of RAM, while the smartphone will run on the Android 11 operating system.
As per the actual Geekbench performance, the phone scored 352 and 1352 points respectively, on single-core and multi-core tests. The Moto E40 will come with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
There are still several aspects of the specifications of the Moto E40 that are still lacking, although we know that the Moto E40 will have 64GB of internal storage, while there is a rumor of a 3GB RAM variant as well. The trajectory of certifications and performance tests on Geekbench, although not definitive, may indicate the imminent launch of both the Motorola Moto E30 and E40 smartphones. We’ll continue to put the two devices on the radar for any new development regarding their launch.

A lot of manufacturers have adopted a 6-month refresh cycle for several of their mid-range phones. The reduced period between devices sometimes results in these phones sharing similar specs. An example is the upcoming Narzo 50A smartphone whose chipset was revealed by a company executive today.
Realme Narzo 50A
We already know the Narzo 50A is on the way seeing as it has received certifications at different agencies in the last few weeks. We also know what it will look like thanks to a press render leak in late August. Now, Realme is taking control of the narrative and has disclosed the chipset that will power the new smartphone.
The name of the processor was revealed in a tweet by Francis Wong, the CMO of Realme India & Europe. According to him, the Narzo 50A will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, the same chipset that is inside the Narzo 30A.
We choose MediaTek Helio G85 processor with 1GHz GPU & HyperEngine enhancements for all young players with our upcoming #realmeNarzo50A. Being an optimized & reliable processor I'm sure it will offer the young players the best experience. #narzo50series incoming!
The Helio G85 was announced in April 2020 and the 12nm octa-core processor has two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It also has a Mali G52 MC2 GPU clocked at 1GHz. The processor is a favorite of many manufacturers and can be found in mid-range phones from Redmi, Tecno, Infinix, Samsung, and Micromax.
For those disappointed in the news that the Narzo 50A will retain the same sensor, there are other differences expected. For example, the leaked render already revealed that the phone will have three rear cameras and will have a redesigned back panel. There most likely will be other differences which we may find out before the launch event.

Further, the bottom houses a USB Type-C port, a primary microphone, a speaker grille, and a SIM card slot. Lastly, the top side includes an IR blaster, another speaker grille, and a secondary microphone.

Xiaomi has finally launched its latest tablet for the global market. The tablet is dubbed Xiaomi Pad 5 which is in line with the company’s recent decision to drop the Mi brand for “Xiaomi”. The Pad 5 is no different from the China variant but apparently, Xiaomi isn’t bringing the Pad 5 Pro to the global market.
In terms of specifications, Xiaomi Pad 5 is equipped with a large 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a high refresh rate of 120Hz, a PPI of up to 275, and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The slate is also said to support hardware anti-blue light and true color display functions.
In order to deliver a premium audio experience and video experience, the Pad 5 supports Dolby Atmos. It also features four built-in speakers.
Xiaomi Pad 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 860 processor paired with 6GB RAM. The slate comes in two storage options – 128GB and 256GB.
The Pad 5 also excels in the camera department, packing a single 13MP camera with LED flash at the rear. For selfies, there is a single 8MP camera at the front which also supports Face unlock.
In terms of battery life, the Pad 5 packs an 8720mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It runs on the new MIUI For Pad operating system. The MIUI For Pad brings features such as custom input methods, split screens, small windows, parallel windows, and other functions.
Xiaomi also introduced the Xiaomi Smart Pen, a stylus pen featuring a two-button design of which the main button supports quick notes and switching brushes while the secondary button supports long-pressing to take screenshots and switching colors. At the same time, it supports PPT page turning operation. The Smart Pen will be sold separately. Xiaomi didn’t mention the keyboard-style double-sided protective case but we expect that to also make an appearance in the future.

As for the pricing, the Xiaomi Pad 5 starts at €349 for the 6GB + 128GB variant while the 6GB + 256GB variant is priced at €399. The tablet is available in two colors: Cosmic Gray and Pearl White.
