ZTE launches ZTE MAX; has a 5.7-inch HD screen and costs 252 USD

Today, in New York, ZTE, in partnership with T-Mobile, launched the big screen ZMAX phone.

It’s probably because of the phone’s big screen (5.7 inches) that it got its name. Its screen has an HD resolution (1280 x 720) and is covered by Corning Gorilla 3 glass. Both of these add to the phone’s high screen specs.

The ZTE MAX’s processor is the Snapdragon 400 quad-core chipset (MSM8926) which supports LTE internet. It also has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. Its camera specs are not that great, however. It sports a 1.6mp/8mp dual-camera. It is also powered by a 3400mAh battery and its OS is based on the Android 4.42. It also supports dual-frequency Wi Fi and Dolby Audio.

A T-Mobile-customized phone, the ZTE MAX costs 252 USD (1548 RMB) and can be paid in instalments. It goes on sale on September 24.

ZTE announced low-cost mid ranger ZMAX under T-MOBILE in USA this day. This phone is priced at $252 without contract and $10.50 monthly for 24 months with contract and will hit the stores on September 24 at $0 down payment.

This phone features a 5.7″ LCD screen with 720P resolution, and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC (quad-core CPU) with a clock speed of 1.2GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM.

Coming to Camera it boasts a 8MP main camera and 1.6MP front-facing camera. ZTE ZMAX possess a hard-wearing 3,400mAh battery which provides you a battery juice for almost 2 days with normal usage. The device boots Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box with mostly stock UI.

The ZTE ZMax supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G and 4G LTE connectivity options.

The other notable features are it includes a dual-microphone noise canceling and offers Dolby DM3 audio.

EMUI 3.0 to be available for download on September 30

At the IFA Conference in Berlin, Huawei not only launched its newest big-screen flagship phone, the Mate 7, but also its newest OS, the Android 4.4.2-based EMUI 3.0.

The Huawei EMUI 3.0 follows a whole new design. It has a flattened but simple UI that is easy to use. Huawei has also made this OS more interactive.

The EMUI 3.0 will officially be available for download on September 30 when owners of the Honor 6 and P7 can upgrade their OS to it. This OS will later be available for the P6/P6S, Mate 2, and 3X as well.

Sources say that the Lenovo Vibe X2, which was launched on September 4, goes on sale on September 22 (next Monday), and that its price is 2499 RMB.

This phone uses a “Layer” design. It has a thickness of 7.72mm and is available in gold, green, white, and many others. There is even a special bamboo edition. Not long ago, this phone received the “Best Flagship Smartphone” award at the 2014 IFA.

The X2 sports a 5-inch 1080p display screen and uses the MTK6595M octa-core chipset. It also has 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM, and sports a 5mp/13mp dual-camera. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery and its OS is the Android 4.4.

ZTE eyes to capture Indonesian market with its 4G handsets

ZTE Corporation has collaborated with the PT Internux which is known for its 4G routers in Indonesia. ZTE has launched ZTE Blade V3, which is the first 4G smartphone in the country. This joint venture has been launched with the view point of applying long-term evolution (LTE) technology everywhere in the country. Jacky Zhang, CEO for Asia Pacific and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) of this China based giant, ZTE visited Indonesia. In Indonesia, Mr Jacky Zhang has elaborated about the strategies of company to expand the business. He also emphasized during his interview with Khoirul Amin from The Jakarta Post that the main focus on the company is to expand the market of 4G devices.

He also confirmed that the company has aim of ruling the Indonesian market with its innovative products and wants the Indonesia to be amongst the top three potential market of ZTE in the coming two three years. China and USA are the current beneficial for the ZTE. The company expects the share value to be increased by 5 percent by next year. Gionee M2 gets an Android 4.4 Update

The time has arrived when only Chinese brand are going to rule the market. Everyday there is a new launch from some China’s company. Now, it is the time for China’s leading smartphone maker, Gionee. Gionee has recently launched its new series of budget phones with premium features in India. Gionee M2 is a budget smartphone and is going to be great hit in Indian market. The smartphone has some exclusive features and a super user friendly price tag. Earlier, the Gionee M2 is available in India at just Rs. 10,999. This previous version of Gionee M2 phone had Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version. Gionee, a China-based smartphone company had collaborated with JCDecaux for the promotion of the brand new launch of Gionee Elife S5.5. The phone has been publicized as the world’s slimmest smartphone. The outdoor campaign is focusing on the Capital of India, Delhi. The campaign has started a few months back in July. The campaign is going on at the Delhi’s two top locations, i.e., at Dhaula Kuan Metro Station and Shivaji Stadium Metro Station. Both the locations are on the Airport Express Line. This Airpost Express Line is handled by JCDecaux. The promotions or the outdoor display on glass facades has an idea of capturing the youth urban population of Delhi.

CyanogenMod 11.0 M10 has arrived, with some minor changes and a lot of bug fixes.

The major update is that they have added a field ‘take a bug report’ option . Upon generation of a bug , you may send them a scrubbed copy of that bug report via the send action. And with the data you provide, the bug report option will be used by CM developers to fix the crashes reported.

As of today, the Ramos K100 has officially gone on sale online. The quoted price of this tablet at JD.com is 1299 RMB. The 200 consumers to get this device will also receive a pair of earphones.

This tablet, which uses many kinds of advanced architecture, looks more appealing than the usual phablet, especially its metal-wired back. To improve audio quality, it has dual speakers as well as receivers on both sides. A speaker is also located at the bottom part. Luo Yonghao: Mass Production of 4G Edition of Smartisan phone to start in October

Early this month, the 4G edition of the Smartisan phone received verification from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, thus, clearing the way for its release.

The 4G edition’s model number is SM705 and its specs are pretty much the same as the regular version. It sports a 5-inch 1080p display screen, uses the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, has 2GB RAM, and 16/32GB ROM. As for internet specifications, it supports GSM/WCDMA/TD-SCDMA/TD-LTE networks.

According to Luo Yonghao, mass production will start in October. So, it should also come out that month. The 16GB version will cost 3500 RMB (569.45 USD) while the 32GB edition costs 3650 RMB (593.85 USD).

Huawei is one of the leading technological companies from China. The company has shown its immense potential to the world by its modern and technological products. The China based company Huawei has been destined as a safety risk in the US and Australia. Now, the Chinese giant is conducting a recruitment drive in European countries for its research and development division. This news of European recruitment drive has been revealed by the President, French subordinate of the Huawei.

Francois Quentin has told the media that the company is planning to double the workforce in the research and development in the coming two to three years. Currently there are around 800 people working in the research and development division of the Huawei in Europe. France will be the major focus for the recruitment of new staff. Around 200 people will be employed as new staff members. Designers and applied mathematicians will also be the part of this new staff of Huawei. The company has 17 research and development centres in around eight countries of Europe. Germany, Italy and Finland have the research sites of Huawei. The company is supposed to take up 13,000 people by 2017.

Two months back, International Data Corp, has ranked this Chinese giant at number three position in the race of smartphone makers in the world by sales. Samsung of South Korea and USA based Apple were the only names ahead of Huawei.

US and Australia have considered the company as a risk to their security because of the alleged somewhat close links of Huawei to the government of China. But the company completely denies allegations of any such involvements.

Leaked Images of Oppo N3 show it having a rotating camera

Oppo always has some new strategy to make its product a hit. This time the strategy is to keep the old hit in the new product. The company has a plan of keeping the rotating camera in Oppo N3 also. Last week the teasers of Oppo N3 have got many likes on the official page of Oppo on Facebook. The leaked images of Oppo N3 are shocking for the rivals of Oppo and surprising for the fans of Oppo. This rotating camera will give the flawless selfies with the help of the primary camera. This feature was also there in the antecedent of Oppo N3, i.e. in Oppo N1.

The new Oppo N3 will also be sharing one more feature with its predecessor Oppo N1. This feature is the dual LED flash. It is expected that this new device will be a slimmer version of the Oppo N1. The rotating camera is supposed to be at the top of the phone. But there is no revelation about the features and specifications of the phone.

Oppo N3 will definitely be an upgraded version of Oppo N1. Oppo N1 has high definition display on 5.9-inch screen, Snapdragon 600 processor (1.7GHz), battery of 3,610mAh, storage memory of with 16GB and 32GB and 13-megapixel rotating camera. Doogee has many new phones in its lineup, so we decided to compare the specifications of two interesting smartphones, Doogee DG580 Kissme phone and Doogee D310 Voyager2.

Both the smartphones have almost the same internals with the major difference being in the camera sensor and the screen size. Inside these two phones, you get a Mediatek MTK6582 1.3 Ghz Quad Core processor along with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory which can be expanded via a MicroSD card up to 32GB.

However, when it comes to camera, DG580 comes out as the winner. The Kissme phone comes with 8MP front and rear cameras with LED flash, while the Voyager2 comes with only a 5MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front shooter. The screen size’s different too, with DG580 coming with a 5.5 inch 960 x 540 resolution display as compared to the 5 inch 854 x 480 resolution screen on the DG310.

The battery’s bigger on DG580 with a 2500 battery pack as compared to the 2200 mAh one found on the Voyager2. However battery life should be more or less the same on both the devices, given DG580’s larger screen size.

Given that Doogee DG580 is new in town, we decided to pit the newbie against another new offering from the company, the Doogee DG2014 Turbo.

Like most of Doogee’s recent devices, DG580 and DG2014 comes with a 1.3Ghz Quad Core Mediatek MTK6582 processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and a MicroSD card slot which can be expanded up to 32GB.

DG580 comes with a 5.5 inch 960 x 540 resolution display while the DG2014 comes with a much better 5 inch 720p screen. Both the devices use One Glass Solution – OGS Full Lamination display technology.

Doogee DG550 Dagger is probably the company’s fastest offering in the market and today we compare this beast with the Doogee DG580 Kissme mid range device.

Dagger comes with a powerful 1.7Ghz Octacore Mediatek MTK6592 processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM. On the other hand, DG580 comes with a 1.3Ghz Quad core MTK6582 processor with 1GB RAM and just 8GB ROM. However, if you find 8/16GB storage low for your daily needs, you can anytime upgrade the memory using a 32GB MicroSD card.

Doogee DG800 is an interesting device because it comes with just average specifications. However, Doogeee has incorporated a back touch panel on the device which sets it apart from other models in this range.

Rest of the specifications are much like the Doogee DG580. You get a Quad Core 1.3Ghz Mediatek MTK6582 chipset with 1GB RAM, and 8GB ROM. There’s a memory card slot on besides the sim tray which can accept MicroSD cards up to 32GB in size. Both the devices support 3G and dual sim.

However, DG800 is quite smaller than DG580, so anyone looking for a compact device can opt for this device. Valencia comes with a 4.5 inch qHD 960 x 540 display which is the same resolution found on Kissme. However, DG5680 has a much larger 5.5 inch screen which also means DG800 will be sharper than the other.

Unlike Kissme’s 8MP rear shooter, Valencia comes with a 13MP sensor at the back. However, both have the same 8MP shooter up front. Also, their rear cameras have LED flash besides them which can come in handy especially in low light.
