A new model cell phone produced by AMOI is now exposed. The new model No. is AMOI A955T. Higher model number means it will be important product by AMOI recently, Network data shows that A955T uses 1.7GHz 4-core CPU processors. There was a speculation that A955T uses the newest 4-core processor by MTK. According to AMOI officially news, A955T uses 6-core processors but not 4-core processors.

It is not hard to figure out that CPU model would be MTK6591. But there is a little difference compares it to MT6591. AMOI A955T 6-core processors’ main frequency reaches 1.7GHz(earlier data was 1.5GHz).ZOPO claims that Black3 will uses 6-core processors. There is a possibility that it is upgraded from 6591. According to an April 27 news article at Ubergizmo, this January, Lenovo bought Motorola from Google for 29.1 USD (18.2 billion RMB). We can expect Lenovo to fully take advantage of Motorola’s brand and online success in the market. According to a series of reports from Lenovo regarding Motorola’s new name, Lenovo will use a dual-branding strategy.

This means that the company will continue to sell its mid-range and high-range cell phones in the American and European markets under the Motorola brand, while it will sell its low and mid-range phones in the Chinese and Latin American markets under the Lenovo brand. The reports also state that Lenovo plans to sell 80 million phones this year.

Representatives from Lenovo haven’t made a comment and it looks like they are still considering the name of their new merger. However, dual-branding marketing is definitely a good idea. After all, Motorola was, at one point, one of the biggest retail cell phone companies in the world, and its brand is still going strong. There hasn’t been any official leak, however, from Lenovo regarding Motorola’s new name, and we probably won’t know it until the acquisition is complete.

Last year, HONphone Changhong Mobile reclassified its flagship products. Its Dongliwang series is still its most famous line-up. All the phones in this series have one thing in common. Their batteries are more powerful than those of most smart phones. The biggest example of this is the Changhong Z9.

Not long ago, Changhong included a new phone in its line-up, the Changhong S3, which is an upgraded version of the V5T. It was first released in Changhong’s official stores for 899 RMB (143.65 USD). Right now, the lowest price it can be bought for online is only 799 RMB (127.67 USD). Its battery capacity is almost twice as much as that of the V5T.

The S3 is round and its measurements are 144.3 x 72 x 10.5mm. It runs on a 4000mA battery.

In recent years, many tablet manufacturers have decided to sell tablets with eight-core processors. These tablets use chips developed by MTK. CHUWI’s new product, the VX3 will use the MT6592 octa-core chip becoming one of the first tablets to use this chip.

The CHUWI VX3 will first be sold at JD.com for about 999 RMB （$159.74）from May 5 to 12.

The VX3 uses the octa-core MT6592 processor with a main frequency of 2GHz. It is the only 1000 RMB tablet that runs on it right now and uses a built-in 2GB DDR3 ram and 16GB memory space (expandable). Xiaomi’s big surprise: Drops price of the Mi 3

On April 28 at 10:00 AM, Xiaomi surprised everyone with the news that they would cut the price its flagship phone, the 16GB Mi 3, by 300 RMB, and that it would be sold with no reservation necessary. Xiaomi also lowered the prices of the Mi 3 in its official Hong Kong (2099 HKD), Taiwan (8199 TWD), and Singapore (339 SGD) websites. All are basically equivalent to 1699 RMB (271.66 USD).

The Chief Brand Officer at Nubia, @有梦想有可能 (Where there’s a will, there’s a way), said in response to the recent price cuts that the only reason its competitors are cutting the prices of their products is because of poor sales, and that his company will not do it.

On April 23, Oneplus had officially released its newest mobile phone.

The Oneplus mobile phone is a top-level configuration present: equipped with a 5.5” 1080p screen, with a 2.5GHz Snap Dragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor, built-in 3GB RAM, a 5.0 MP front camera, a 13.0 MP rear camera and a 3100mAh battery.

Oneplus comes in two versions, one with 16 GB and the other with 64GB. The prices are 1999.99 yuan ($320) and 2299.99 yuan ($368) respectively. This is also the most cost-effective 3GB cell phone model you could find on the market.

One of the highlight of this mobile phone is the system it employed. It integrated the CM system (based on Android 4.4), which is the world’s largest third party Android complier team product.

The CEO and founder of Oneplus Zuohu Liu had also emphasized the touch feeling of the cell phone is another great attraction of this cell phone. The cell phone is only weighted in 162g, which is quite portable given its size.
