Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi Note 12S phone for the global market. The device was recently certified by the FCC, which revealed some of its key details. Now, tipster Mukul Sharma has claimed that the production of the Note 12S has begun, which indicates that it will not take too long for it go official.

According to Sharma, the serial production of the Redmi Note 1S has started in European and Eurasian regions. He added that the device is expected to launch in the next couple of months.

On March 23, Redmi will launch the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G smartphones in the global market. There were some reports that the Note 12S would debut alongside these smartphones. However, it appears that it may go official at a later date.

Reports have claimed that the Redmi Note 12S could be a rebranded version of last year’s Redmi Note 11S. The only difference between the two models could be that the 12S will offer faster charging capabilities. The POCO M4 Pro has launched in India as planned. The device is a 4G variant of POCO M4 Pro 5 and it is nothing but a tweaked version of the Redmi Note 11S. As scheduled, POCO has officially launched the POCO X4 Pro 5G and POCO M4 Pro for international markets. These two smartphones succeed the POCO X3 Pro and POCO M3 Pro 5G from last year. They are unlike their predecessors in terms of both design and specs. They are tweaked versions of already released Redmi phones.

POCO X4 Pro 5G Specifications and Features

The POCO X4 Pro 5G is a rebranded Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G sold in global markets. It has the exact same specs, except for a redesigned rear panel.

The smartphone sports a 6.67-inch centered punch-hole AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 395 PPI, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The DCI-P3 color gamut-supported screen has a 4,500,000:1 contrast ratio and can reach a peak brightness level of 1,200 nits.

MediaTek to release its first-ever 6nm G-series chip in Q3 2022 – sources

There are indications that chipmaker, MediaTek plans to release its first 6nm G-series chip by the third quarter of the year. Inside sources say that the company plans to release the new chip based on the highly advanced 6nm manufacturing process to replace the Helio G96, which in itself, is a quite popular chipset.

Although, we are still in the realm of speculation as there is no official confirmation yet on the upcoming MediaTek chips, what we know at this time is that the chip is currently only referred to as Next-G and employs the same CPU configuration as the Helio G96. The Helio G96 is produced through the 12nm process which presents several restrictions, some of which have been overcome with the 6nm improved process. The new G-series 6nm chip will have two Cortex-A76 cores running above 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores powering at 2.0 GHz.

As per the performance capabilities of the new MediaTek chip, it is capable of handling cameras with resolutions up to 108MP, 2K video recording at 30fps, and a few other metrics similar to the latest G96 iteration. That may be true, as there are indications that the very first MediaTek 6nm chip will not support 5G network connectivity. Chinese phone maker, Doogee has also been mentioned as one of the first brands to debut the Next-G chip. For now, we await further details from official quarters on the product.

Recent reports have revealed Vivo may launch the Vivo V23e smartphone at some point this month. A hands-on video of the phone that appeared earlier this month had revealed plenty of information on its specs. Ahead of the launch, the handset is now listed on Vivo Vietnam’s website with some of its key details. At the same time, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has shared leaked information from a retailer listing of the smartphone.

The official website listing of the Vivo V23e has no information on its specifications. However, it confirms that the appearance of the device. Apart from sporting stellar cameras, the V23e will be flaunting an ultra-slim design.

In October, Infinix announced the Note 11 series of smartphones for global markets. Last month, the Chinese manufacturer also announced the INBook X1 laptop. Infinix India has confirmed that the Note 11 lineup and the INBook X1 notebook will debut in India in December.

Last month, Infinix unveiled the Zero X, Zero X Pro, and Zero X Neo smartphones. According to a new report by GSMArena, Infinix is working on a new Note series model. The publication has also shared some images of the upcoming Infinix Note series phone, which it claims were obtained from an insider.

At the end of September, XDA Developers shared images of the next-generation Infinix Note model. The new images that have appeared on GSMArena seem to be of the same device. It is yet to be confirmed whether the next Note model from the brand will be called Infinix Note 11 / Note 11 Pro.

One of the new images shows that the upcoming Note model will be available in three different colors. The rear shell of the device has a quad-camera setup, which has texts 64MP and 30x telescope zoom mentioned under it. The device does not seem to feature a periscope zoom lens. Hence, it appears that the 30x telescope zoom lens may refer to its maximum digital zoom. The right edge of the device features a volume rocker and a power key, which is integrated with a fingerprint scanner.

Moving to the front, the new Infinix Note phone can be seen sporting a display with a centrally positioned punch-hole. The handset appears to be running on a new version of the XOS since the home screen has a different look.

One of the images that were shared by XDA revealed that the upcoming Infinix Note phone will carry support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The “auto-switch refresh rate” that will be available on the device may automatically switch refresh rate depending on the app to save the battery. Reports have revealed that the lineup includes three models such as Zero X, Zero X Neo, and Zero X Pro. It is unclear whether all three models will be announced together next week. The Zero X Neo (model number X6810) was spotted last month at the Google Play Console. Fresh information reveals that the Zero X (model number X6811B) and Zero X Pro (model number X6811) have also appeared at Play Console (via).

Leaked photos of an upcoming Infinix smartphone have appeared. The images shared by GSMArena reveal that it will be the first Infinix smartphone to sport a 108-megapixel and a periscope lens.

At the beginning of this month, XDA Developers released a render of the Infinix Zero X phone. The handset shown in the new photos below looks identical to the Zero X. To begin with, it has a speckled design on the back and a triple camera unit at the top-left corner.
