ChatGPT’s traffic on mobile and web versions dipped globally in June for the first time since last November. This also marks the first time the AI chatbot has seen such a decline in the website’s monthly traffic and unique visitors.
Analytics firm SimilarWeb found that the global traffic to OpenAI’s site for ChatGPT fell by 9.7 percent in June. Meanwhile, the rate of unique visitors also dipped by 5.7 percent. Additionally, the amount of time visitors spent on the website was down by 8.5 percent. OpenAI launched the iOS version of ChatGPT in May and it has been downloaded 17 million times globally. However, there was also a decline in downloads of the app.
SimilarWeb reported that the ChatGPT site still attracts more visitors than bing.com, Microsoft’s search engine, and Character.AI. The AI chatbot from OpenAI boasts 1.5 million monthly visitors and is one of the top 20 websites globally. Additionally, other generative AI-based platforms like Google Bard also noticed a tip in traffic. The analytics firm says that the interest in ChatGPT seems to be waning, however, such a conclusion is not easy to draw.
There is no clear indication in behind the decline in traffic and user engagement of ChatGPT. However, it is attributed to summer break for schools and college students, or there may be cases where people spent a brief time with the AI chatbot and then left at least for now.

The first Nothing exclusive service center is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It will be thrown open to the public next month i.e. August. The exact date remains unknown at the moment. The brand is aiming to meet the increasing demands for its products in the country.
The exclusive service center is said to provide exceptional customer support and after-sales service. The company is also expanding its customer service team by 50 percent ensuring continued excellence in services and customer satisfaction. By the end of this month, Nothing has plans on increasing its service center count from 230 to 300, thereby catering to 19,000 pin codes across the country. The exclusive service center will also organize periodic service camps for the brand’s customers and provide them with a dedicated platform for assistance. The schematic reveals that the Xiaomi 14 will feature a flat display on the front with negligible bezels and a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. The back panel of the device has a square-shaped camera module along with a sensor placement that is similar to the current Xiaomi 13 series. However, the camera cutouts are larger for the main and telephoto lenses on the upcoming device compared to its predecessor. There is also an ultra-wide-angle lens and an LED flash unit. The schematic also reveals curved edges on all sides of the Xiaomi 14.
The schematic does not reveal any additional information of the Xiaomi 14. A recent leak revealed that the Xiaomi 14 will be backed by a 4,860mAh battery unit with support for 90W fast charging along with 50W wireless charging. The device is tipped to retain a 1-inch camera sensor along with a 1.33-inch sensor that is still in R&D phase. During the second quarter of 2023, Volvo sold 9,778 new plug-in electric cars, slightly lower than the previous year. However, the sales of BEVs alone reached an impressive 4,821 units, marking a significant 124 percent increase compared to the previous year. Year-to-date, Volvo has sold nearly 17,500 plug-in electric cars in the US, accounting for approximately 29 percent of the brand’s total sales volume.
