Both SIM cards use the same tray – one sits on top and the other sits below with the chip side facing upwards for the top one and facing downwards for the one below.

Owners will be able to make and receive calls from both SIM cards but when you are on a call on one line, calls to the other are sent to voicemail. Fresh Nokia 9 image leaks to reveal design and huge battery

Recent reports have revealed that the upcoming Nokia flagship phone that features a penta-lens setup has a model number of TA-1094. Even though the exact name of the phone is not confirmed, the rumor mill is referring to it as the Nokia 9 smartphone. A fresh image of the phone has appeared to tease its rear design. The image also reveals the battery capacity of the Nokia 9 phone.

The new image of the alleged Nokia 9 only reveals its rear design. The ZEISS certified penta-lens setup is positioned on the backside of the phone. There is no information available on the front design. Hence, it remains a mystery whether the Nokia 9 features a notched screen or a notch-less tall aspect ratio display.

The leaked image has also revealed that the handset is equipped with a non-removable battery of 4,150mAh capacity. If this information is true, the Nokia 9 will be the largest battery phone from the company. The back panel of the phone lacks a fingerprint reader. This indicates that its display could be embedded with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

Recent leaks have revealed that the Nokia 9 may arrive with a 5.9-inch OLED screen that will carry support for Quad HD resolution. The Snapdragon 845 chipset is very likely power the handset. It may come preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS.

The Nokia 9 variants were recently spotted on Samsung Latvia website. The storage and SIM variants of the phone were found to be listed in Samsung’s Buyback Program which contains list of devices that can accepted for trade-ins. The site revealed that the Nokia 9 would be available in 64 GB and 128 GB storage editions. Both the phones were mentioned in single-SIM and dual-SIM versions. Probably, these could be the Nokia 9 variants for the Latvian market.

There is no confirmation on the authenticity of the leaked image shown above. The TA-1094 model was recently spotted on the website of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT) which confirms the existence of the phone. Huawei Mate 20, 20 Pro, Porsche Design TENAA listings appear

Huawei has an unveil event coming up on Oct. 16. Through it, the Chinese manufacturer will be announcing the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. Recently, well-known tipster had tipped on the existence of a new Porsche Design smartphone that is codenamed as Everest. Hence, it is also being speculated that the Mate 20 Porsche Design will debut alongside Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. The specifications of the entire Mate 20 series along with images are expected to leak very soon since the Mate 20, 20 Pro and alleged Porsche Design model have surfaced on the website of TENAA, the telecom regulatory body from China.

The HMA-AL00 and HMA-TL00 Huawei phones that have been certified by TENAA are the variants of the Mate 20. The LYA-AL00, LYA-AL00P, LYA-AL10 and LYA-TL00 are the models of the Mate 20 Pro. The EVR-AL00 and EVR-TL00 are the variants of the rumored Everest model that may break cover as Mate 20 Porsche Design.

The specifications of the Everest phone are under the wraps. It could be fueled by the Kirin 980 SoC that will be driving the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro handsets. The Mate 20 is expected to feature a waterdrop LCD FHD+ screen of 6.3 inches whereas the Mate 20 Pro is tipped to arrive with a 6.9-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED screen with a wider notch that will be housing all the necessary sensors for 3D face scanning. TENAA has also certified another mysterious Huawei phone that has a model number of ARS-AL00. The identity of this phone is not known. Its specifications have not yet appeared on TENAA, but its images are available. This handset sports a waterdrop notch screen like the Honor 8X. The back panel of the phone features a vertical dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner. It is difficult to judge whether the handset is sporting a polycarbonate or a metallic rear. It could be an upcoming mid-range phone from the company powered by Kirin 710 SoC.

Apple has introduced the iPhone XS as the upgraded version of the iPhone X that was launched last year. The iPhone XS Max featuring a huge 6.5-inch OLED screen was unveiled alongside it. The iPhone XR featuring a notched LCD screen was also announced alongside the iPhone XS and XS Max. Fresh information reveals with the arrival of the 2018 iPhones, Apple has discontinued older iPhones like iPhone 6S and iPhone SE. The Cupertino company has also halted the sales of the iPhone X permanently.

It is unusual for Apple to discontinue iPhone X because the company is known for slashing the price of previous year’s model with the arrival of a new smartphone. Instead of selling the iPhone X with a reduced pricing, Apple has decided to kill it.

It is now being speculated that if Apple would have sold the iPhone X with discounted pricing, it may not have earned good profits for the company since the cost of materials required would not have decreased significantly. It appears that the iPhone XR that has a starting price of $749 is a good replacement for the iPhone X.

Now that the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus and iPhone SE have been discontinued, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are the new entry-level phones from the company. Both phones are respectively priced at $449 and $569. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are respectively priced at $599 and $699.

Since the 4-inch iPhone SE is no longer available for buying, the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 are the smallest iPhones available for buying in the U.S. At present, the iPhone X, iPhone 6S, 6S Plus and iPhone SE could be available for buying in some countries, but they will be soon discontinued with the release of new iPhones.

The iPhone XR comes in 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB storage options. These models are respectively priced at $749, $799 and $899. The storage variants of the iPhone X are 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. LG tipped to release eleven V40 ThinQ variants

LG has confirmed that it will be debuting the V40 ThinQ smartphone on Oct. 4. The handset has already bagged approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. The FCC documents reveals that there are eleven variants of the V40 ThinQ which belongs to the LM-V405 series.

There is no information available on the specifications of the eleven models of the V40 ThinQ. The existence of the multiple variants of the smartphone suggests that there could be a dedicated variant for each of the leading carriers in the U.S. There could be storage and RAM variants for the smartphone. In the past, LG has launched its high-end phones with different audio capabilities across markets. So, there could be audio setup related variants of the V40 ThinQ.

Rumors have claimed that the V40 ThinQ will be the first smartphone from the company to come preinstalled with Android 9 Pie OS. The FCC listing of the V40 ThinQ contains a screengrab of its Settings menu which suggests that it may come equipped with custom UI flavored Android 8.1 Oreo.

Rumors surrounding the V40 ThinQ have revealed that it will be coming with a 6.3-inch notched P-OLED screen that will produce Quad HD+ resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. The Snapdragon 845 chipset will be present under the hood of the phone. It could be assisted by 6 GB of RAM.

One of the major highlights of the phone could be the presence of five cameras on the V40 ThinQ. To be precise, the upcoming LG flagship is expected with dual selfie shooters and triple rear cameras. Other rumored audio features of the smartphone include Quad DAC and DTS X: Surround Sound.

LG V40 ThinQ launch date is October 4

Multiple smartphone manufacturers will be launching their flagship phones in October. Without confirming on the exact launch date, Xiaomi has revealed that the highly anticipated Mi MIX 3 is arriving in October. Apple officially took the wraps off its next-generation smartphone at a launch event in California, USA. The company announced the new Apple Watch Series 4, which comes with a larger display and thinner body compared to the previous-generation Apple Watch.

The Apple Watch Series 4 has been redesigned and re-engineered, claims the company. The new smartwatch comes in two sizes — 40mm and 44mm. The display is over 30 percent larger and integrates into a thinner and smaller case.

The Apple Watch Series 4 is running watchOS 5 that the company says offer advanced activity and communications features. For health-related features, along with a new accelerometer and gyroscope, which detects hard falls, there’s also an electrical heart rate sensor that can take an electrocardiogram (ECG) using the new ECG app.

The ECG app takes advantage of the electrodes built into the Digital Crown and new electrical heart rate sensor in the back crystal. It can classify if the heart is beating in a normal pattern or whether there are signs of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib). All recordings and noted symptoms are stored in the Health app in a PDF that can also be shared with physicians.

It comes with a speaker that is 50 percent louder and has been optimized for phone calls, Siri, and Walkie-Talkie. The microphone on the smartwatch has been relocated in order to reduce echo for better sound quality.

Apple says that all health and fitness data is encrypted on-device and in the cloud. Coming to the battery, the battery life on Watch Series 4 is the same as before — 18-hours.

 

 

The Apple Watch Series 4 starts at $399 in the US for GPS model while the GPS + Cellular version of the Watch Series 4 starts at $499. Along with the three aluminum finishes anodized in Silver, Gold, and Space Gray color, the Apple Watch Series 4 now comes in a Gold stainless steel with Milanese band, joining the Silver and Space Black stainless steel models.

Along with the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, US-based tech giant Apple also announced iPhone XR, which is the cheapest smartphone of the three that were unveiled at the launch event in California, USA.

The Apple iPhone XR comes with an aluminum body and glass back. Unlike the iPhone XS lineup, the new iPhone XR features a 6.1-inch LCD display with a screen resolution of 1792 x 828 pixels, offering a pixel density of 326ppi.

The company is calling the display as ‘Liquid Retina’ and claims that it is the most advanced LCD display in the industry. It features Apple‘s True Tone technology that is claimed to offer a more natural viewing experience.

While the iPhone XS series features 3D Touch, the iPhone XR lacks support for 3D Touch. However, the company has introduced Haptic Touch, which is similar to the one introduced in the MacBook trackpad.

Just like the iPhone XS and XS Max, the iPhone XR too is powered by the latest Apple A12 Bionic 7nm chipset. Apple says that the chipset unlocks new experiences for games, photography, video editing and graphics-intensive apps while still offering great battery life. It comes in three storage options — 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

Coming to the camera configuration, the phone comes equipped with a single 12-megapixel sensor at the back, with a wide-angle lens and optical image stabilizer (OIS), same as the iPhone XS. On the front side, it has the same 7-megapixel True-Deth camera and comes with Face ID support that now unlocks the phone through facial recognition faster than ever. The camera also has support for Portrait Mode that enables you to take images with bokeh effect.

All the iPhone models announced this year comes with IP67 ratings and thus, the iPhone XR is also water resistant. This too runs on the latest iOS 12 operating system. As for the battery capacity, Apple claims that the battery on iPhone XR lasts one and a half hour more than the iPhone 8 Plus.

 

 

The iPhone XR comes in multiple color options, including Black, White, Blue, Coral (Pink), Yellow, and Product Red. It is priced at $749 and will be available for pre-order from October 19 and the company will start shipping the iPhone XR from October 26.

After months of leaks, Apple has finally announced its latest iPhone lineup. At a launch event in California, the tech giant unveiled three new iPhones — Apple iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max along with the iPhone XR. Among the three new phones, the iPhone XS and XS Plus are the successors of the iPhone X that was launched last year.

The iPhone XS features a 5.8-inch display while the XS Plus has a 6.5-inch display. The company is calling this OLED HDR screen as Super Retina, which provides a pixel density of 458ppi. Apple also says that it has 60 percent greater dynamic range for better colors. It is also a 3D Touch pressure-sensitive screen.

Both the phones are powered by Apple A12 Bionic chipset, which is manufactured using the 7-nanometer process and promises to launch apps 30 percent faster than 2017 iPhones. The SoC has six-core CPU, quad-core GPU, and a dedicated neural engine. The company says that the new chipset can handle five trillion AI operations per second and should provide real-time machine learning.

It also comes with an improved camera configuration. There are two camera sensors on the back side, which includes 12-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 aperture and a 12-megapixel secondary telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture for lossless 2X zoom. On the front side, there’s a 7-megapixel snapper with f/2.2 aperture, coupled with IR camera to enable portrait mode. The Face ID feature, which unlocked the phone through facial recognition, also works faster.

The camera can detect people’s faces and bodies, and also offers an instant red-eye reduction. There’s Smart HDR which can identify highlights and find shadow detail. An interesting feature is that you can now adjust the depth of a portrait mode photo after capturing the image.

Apple iPhone XS Max Camera

Both, the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, come in three storage options — 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The devices are also IP68 rated, which means that both phones are water-resistant and can survive in water up to 30 minutes in 2 meters depth.

Another major feature of the new iPhone is the support for Dual SIM cards through eSIM technology. While the addition of Dual SIM support may not be a big deal in the US, it’s a huge deal for Asian countries. A special model for China has support for two physical SIM cards.

Running on iOS 12, the new iPhone XS and XS Max has support for stereo sound with a wider stereo field than 2017 iPhones, claims the company. As for the battery, the company has not revealed specifications but says that the iPhone XS should last 30 minutes longer than iPhone X and the iPhone XS Max should have 1.5 hours longer battery life than the iPhone X.

 

 

The pricing for the iPhone XS starts at $999 while the iPhone XS Max starts at $1,099. Both the phones will be available in three color options — Space Grey, Silver, and Gold. The iPhone XS and XS Plus will be available for pre-order from Friday, and they will start shipping from September 21.

Samsung Galaxy S10 to come in three models, one with triple cameras

Samsung launched its 2018 Galaxy flagship earlier this year. The Galaxy S9 models weren’t so impressive as they only had some upgrades over the Galaxy S8 series but not so much of what fans expected. There are indications the Korean giant is already working on the Galaxy S10. According to an insider source, the Galaxy S10 will come in three different models and one of the versions will feature a triple camera setup. This is sort of a confirmation of earlier reports that the Galaxy S10 will have triple rear cameras. The Galaxy S10 is also said to include a budget-model, targeted at consumers who consider price as a major determinant of getting a phone.Samsung Galaxy S9 Burgundy Red variant

The source hinted that all three models will pack a 12MP wide-angle lens with 78-degree FOV as well as a 16MP super wide-angle lens with a field of view of 123 degrees. The source also disclosed that the high-end Galaxy S10 Plus will exclusively pack a third 13MP telephoto lens with a 45-degree FOV. In addition, the Galaxy S10 models will follow suit with the S9 in having support for Samsung’s dual aperture (f/1.5 and f/2.4) technology.

In addition, the Galaxy S10 Plus is said to come equipped with optical image stabilization in the wide-angle and telephoto lenses, just like the setup on the Galaxy S9 Plus and Note 9. On the display end, the Galaxy S10 models are expected to have a 5.8-inch display on the base model, while the mainstream model will have a 6.1-inch display. The high-end Plus model will pack a 6.4-inch display. Unfortunately, the source hinted that the Galaxy S10 may not have the much-expected on-screen fingerprint sensor. Rather, the fingerprint sensor will likely remain on the rear of the device. However, the source included a caveat that Samsung’s plans for the Galaxy S10 could change between now and next year when the models are expected to drop.

Apple will begin its launch event in a short while. The manufacturer is expected to announce three new iPhones among other devices. However, earlier today, the names, storage options, and color variants of the iPhones have leaked. The leak comes from Apple’s own website.

iPhone Xs Max

The three iPhones that will be announced later today will be called the iPhone Xs, the iPhone Xs Max, and the iPhone Xr.

The iPhone Xs will come with a 5.8-inch OLED display while the Max will have a 6.5-inch OLED display. Both will be available in 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage editions. They will also launch in Space Gray, Silver, and Gold.

The iPhone Xr, on the other hand, will come with a 6.1-inch LCD display. Just like the other two, it will come in 64GB and 256GB versions and also have a 128GB version. It will also come in more colors – Black, White, Red, Yellow, Blue, and Coral.
