OnePlus 6 Avengers Infinity War Edition Hands On: Carbon Fiber Meets Glass

After announcing its “flagship killer” OnePlus 6 smartphone in London yesterday, OnePlus launched its OnePlus 6 smartphone in India today. Along with that, the company also launched a special variant of the phone — OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition.

Before announcing this limited edition device in the Indian market, the phone was first announced in China today. It comes with a custom 3D Kevlar-textured glass back with Corning Gorilla 5 protection, features 6 layers of optical coating.

On the back panel, there’s an Avengers logo in gold color, in addition to OnePlus branding which is also in gold color. The alert slider on the side of the phone also comes covered in a golden hue. Further, the smartphone comes with 5 custom Avengers wallpapers.

Along with this specially designed smartphone, the company is also bundling Iron Man protective case in the box as well as one of the six Avenger superhero medals in each box (Hulk, Black Widow, Black Panther, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor).

However, the specifications of the phone remain same as the regular model. It comes with a 6.28-inch notched AMOLED display with screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor.

The regular model of OnePlus 6 comes in different memory configuration — 6GB and 8GB RAM along with 64GB, 128GB and 256GB internal storage option. However, this Avengers Limited Edition smartphone comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The smartphone sports a 16MP primary Sony IMX519 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 1.22um pixels, and OIS, and a 20MP Sony IMX376K secondary camera sensor, mainly for depth information. On the front side also, there’s a 16MP snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

As for the software, the smartphone is running the company’s own OxygenOS, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. However, the OnePlus is already a part of Android P Beta program and thus, users can also try out the upcoming Android P. The phone is powered by a 3,300mAh battery, with support for company’s fast charging technology — Dash Charge 2.0.

The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition smartphone will be available for purchase in India exclusively through online marketplace Amazon India from 29th May, for a price of Rs. 44,999, which roughly converts to $664.

Smartisan has as its slogan “the joy of Artisans”. Indeed, the company which is a conglomeration of artisans has carved out a name for itself as a result of its sleekly designed smartphones. The recently announced flagship – Smartisan R1 is no exception. The phone came with a stunner as it packs a 1TB storage on one of the variants. That isn’t going to be a very popular variant, though, considering its ¥8,848 (~$1388) price tag. Of course, there are other versions with pocket-friendly prices.

The Smartisan Nut R1 comes with an expansive 6.17-inch pressure sensitive display with a 2242 x 1080 resolution and an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 protection and equally has 1500:1 contrast ratio, and a 96% color gamut (DCI-P3).

The Smartisan R1 packs an ultra-thin body and as a result, Smartisan had to sacrifice the 3.5mm audio jack. Since it doesn’t feature one, there is a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter inside the retail box. The device packs a rear camera setup aligned horizontally in the top left corner. The rear panel is also made of glass. The device has its volume rockers and power button on the right side of the display. There is also a button on the right side but we don’t know its functions as of now.

The dual rear cameras consist of a 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor with a f/1.8 aperture, 1.4 μm pixel size, 4-axis OIS, and dual PD extreme focus. The second is a 20MP Sony IMX350 with a f/1.75 aperture, 1μm pixel size, and 6P lens. On the other hand, the front camera is a 24MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture ArcSoft ray algorithm and AI real-time beauty mode.

The Nut R1 packs a Snapdragon 845 chipset and has a host of network bands including LTE Band 20 which positions it for sales overseas. Recall that Smartisan signed a deal recently with ECoinmerce to ship its phones to North America. That means the R1 will likely be available outside China just as a few of Smartisan phones are available outside China via e-retailers.

In addition, the device is available in White and Black colour variants. Who knows, we might see a red variant sometime later but for now if you prefer something different from white or black, you’ll have to make do with the colourful protective cases available. As for the prices, then 6GB RAM + 64GB is priced at ¥3,499 (~$549), 6GB RAM + 128GB for ¥3,999 (~$627), 8GB RAM + 128GB priced ¥4,499 (~$705) and 8GB RAM + 1TB for ¥8,848 (~$1388)

HTC U12+ Official Renders and Full Specs Leaked

HTC will take the wraps off its U12+ flagship on May 23. While the official teaser poster already shows us the internals of the device, a new leak has revealed what the phone looks like when assembled.

The new leak is a photo of the official renders of the HTC U12+ and was shared on Twitter by Evan Blass. It shows the HTC u12+ in three color variants including a translucent version.

The photo confirms the HTC U12+ has dual cameras on both sides. The ones in front are positioned on the left side of the top bezel while the rear cameras sit in the middle of the device. Below the rear sensors is a LED flash and fingerprint scanner.

The bezels are moderately-sized and the phone uses on-screen buttons. The date on the homescreen even confirms the May 23 launch date.

Alongside the photo of the phone, Evan Blass has also leaked the full specifications of the phone.

The HTC U12+ will continue with HTC’s Liquid Surface design. Just like the HTC U11+, it will also have pressure-sensitive buttons and a new haptic feedback experience. There are a number of new features the pressure sensitive buttons have. HCT has tagged it Edge Sense 2.0 and below are a few of them:

Holding down the buttons enables smart rotate and smart dim.
A double tap (double squeeze) will launch a mini-screen for one-handed use. You can also set it to act as a return key.

The U12+ will have a 6” QHD+ screen. It is Super LCD 6, has HDR10 support, and is covered with Gorilla Glass. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 6GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage.

The front cameras are dual 8MP f/2.0 1.12um sensors with an 84° wide-angle field of view. There is portrait mode, AR stickers, face unlock, live beauty mode, and a selfie panorama mode.

The rear cameras are a combination of a 12MP wide-angle sensor with HTC UltraPixel 4 (1.4um pixel size and a f/1.75 aperture) and a 16MP telephoto sensor with a 1.0um pixel size and f/2.6 aperture.

There is OIS, AR stickers, laser focus + PDAF, up to 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom, bokeh mode, 4K video at 60fps, slow motion at 240fps, and more.

The HTC U12+ will come with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa depending on the region. It will support always-on voice commands, have NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port, and even support for DisplayPort over USB-C.

Lenovo-owned Motorola has announced its latest budget smartphone in China — Moto 1S. This is the same smartphone as Moto G6 which was introduced last month.

The smartphone features a 5.7-inch Full-HD+ IPS display with screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio, having a pixel density of 427 pixels per inch. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, paired with Adreno 506 GPU.

The device packs 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot which enables users to further expand the phone’s storage capacity up to 128GB. As of the optics, the phone features a 12-megapixel primary camera sensor at the back with f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, enabling users to take bokeh-like photos.

On the front side, there’s an 8-megapixel snapper and an LED flash for video calling and taking selfies. There’s a fingerprint sensor on the back and the phone also comes with a P2i water-resistance and dust resistance certification.

Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. It runs on ZUI 3.5 with Android Oreo operating system out of the box and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery which also supports Turbo Charging.

The Moto 1S will be available in two color options — Blue and Gold. Priced at 1,499 Yuan, which roughly converts to $235, the smartphone is now available for purchase in China through Lenovo’s Online Shop. The Moto G6 and G6 Play are slated to soon launch in India.

ASUS Zenfone Live L1 Gets Proper Launch: Price and Availability Details Released

A few weeks ago, ASUS launched the Zenfone Live L1 in Indonesia but there were a number of details missing. Today, the phone has gotten a proper announcement with all the missing details included.

The Zenfone Live L1 is an entry-level phone that can best be described as ASUS’ version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A/Y1 Lite. However, the ASUS has some key advantages over the Redmi.

The Zenfone Live L1 has a 5.5-inch screen but its 1440 x 720 screen resolution which translates to an 18:9 aspect ratio gives it a 5” form factor. So it is smaller and lighter though thicker than the Redmi Note 5A. The screen has glove support and also has a Bluelight filter.

The Zenfone Live L1 comes in two variants – an Android Go version and a regular version. The Android Go version has 1GB RAM and 16GB storage, an 8MP rear camera, and of course, runs Android Oreo (Go edition). The regular model which runs Android Oreo with ZenUI 5 overlay has 2GB/3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of storage, and a 13MP rear camera.

The remaining specs are the same. They are both powered by the Snapdragon 425 processor and have 5MP front-facing cameras. Both also use a triple card tray which lets you use 2 SIM cards (LTE on both slots) and also add up to 2TB of extra storage via a MicroSD card.

There is Bluetooth 4.0, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, GPS, FM Radio, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There is no fingerprint scanner but there is Face Unlock. The battery capacity is 3,000mAh for both models.

Xiaomi has launched a new mop that comes with a water spray, all in one.

The Deerma Spray mop uses built-in cleaners and easy spray controls for optimum convenience. The mop is ultra lightweight, weighing just 0.75kg which is equivalent to the weight of three apples. The Deerma spray mop comes with a 360° rotating rod, 3cm mop head, 1.2m steel mop rod and is flexible enough to access under the sofa, coffee table, or under the bed.

The mop is equipped with carbon fibre dust lock cloth which is made by weaving fine fibre and carbon fibre. The mop also comes with a portable 0.35L water tank for cleaning solution and which can last for cleaning a 100m2 floor area. The entire mechanism is purely mechanical. There is no electronic function onboard.

Since you don’t need to carry a bucket around, the Xiaomi Deerma Water spray mop offers users a high degree of convenience. The effectiveness of the mop will depend on the suitability of the surface it is to be used. The Deerma spray mop is presently on sale on Xiaomi’s Youpin website and it costs just 59 yuan (~$9).

Xiaomi Mi 8 Box Package and Front Panel Appears in Freshly Leaked Photos

A new report has revealed that Xiaomi’s Shenzhen evnet will be held on May 31. Multiple leaks that have surfaced in the recent past have revealed that Xiaomi may debut the Mi 8 Anniversary Edition smartphone. It might even arrive with Xiaomi Mi 8 moniker. Today, a leaked photo showing the black-colored box package with number 8 mentioned has surfaced today. Also, another leak has revealed the front panel of the Xiaomi Mi 8 smartphone.

The box package in the above image is yet another proof that Xiaomi is prepping up to launch the rumored Xiaomi Mi 8 smartphone. The image shows a front panel placed inside a plastic cover with Xiaomi Mi 8 mentioned over it. What’s interesting about this leak is that it clearly shows the wide notch at the top that is most likely to house the structured light 3D module for 3D facial recognition. The image reveals that the Mi 8 will be sporting slimmer side bezels and a slightly thicker chin.

There is no information available on the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 8. Since it is expected to arrive as a flagship phone, it will be driven by Snapdragon 845. The handset is also speculated to feature an OLED display. There is a possibility that this advanced smartphone may also feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The Shenzhen event that will accommodating around 5,000 people is expected to be the most important product launch for the company this year. Hence, it will be used by the company to introduce multiple devices. Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi Mi 7 and Mi Band 3 fitness tracker at the same event.

Microsoft is Making Cheaper Surface Tablets To Take On The iPad (& Maybe Chromebook Tab)

The Microsoft Surface Pro is the latest tablet from the Redmond-based corporation. Advertised as the tablet that can replace your laptop, the Surface Pro starts at $799. There are reports we may get smaller and cheaper Surface Tablets in the near future.

The last time Microsoft made smaller-sized tablets, they weren’t very successful. The last was the Surface 3 and Microsoft stopped production for it in 2016.

The news of smaller Surface tablets comes from Bloomberg which reports that the smaller tablets will have 10-inch screens, rounded corners, a USB-C port for power, and will have a $400 price tag. This pricing will put it in the same league with Apple’s new 9.7-inch iPad.

The smaller size means a smaller battery, so you won’t get the same battery life from the larger Surface models. However, it will be about 20% lighter and easy to carry around for long hours.

The new smaller Surface tablets will not be powered by Qualcomm chips running Windows 10 on ARM but will run full Windows 10 Pro. However, it will also offer models with LTE.

The $400 price means a number of things will be cut out. The new Surface tablets won’t come with a keyboard or stylus out of the box. So if you need those, you will have to pay extra. At the moment, the cheapest keyboard cover on the Microsoft store is $129.99 and the Surface Pen is $99.99. However, Mircosoft is said to be working on newer and less expensive versions.

After announcing the OnePlus 6 smartphone at a launch event in London, the China-based company has now launched the “flagship killer” OnePlus 6 in India today at a launch event in Mumbai.

In India, as we reported earlier, the smartphone will be available for purchase exclusively through online marketplace Amazon India. The pricing for the phone starts at Rs. 34,999 and goes up to Rs. 39,999. It will be available for purchase from 21st May.

The smartphone is joining the list of flagship devices that have adopted glass body. To ensure protection, the front, as well as back panel, comes with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on top, ensuring that it can take a few hits without breaking down.

As of the specifications, the OnePlus 6 features a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. The company has also adopted the notched display trend going on for the flagship devices. However, the notch can be disabled through software.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 845 chipset, which powers most of the flagship smartphones launched this year. Similar to its previous models, OnePlus is offering different memory configuration choice for the OnePlus 6 as well. The phone comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM along with 64GB, 128GB and 256GB internal storage option.

Coming to the camera department, the OnePlus 6 sports a 16MP primary Sony IMX519 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 1.22um pixels, and OIS. Currently, the company has not revealed any details about the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model, but we expect the smartphone to be available in India at a later date.

Xiaomi’s Shenzhen Event to Be Held on May 31; Multiple Proofs Suggest Xiaomi Mi 8th Anniversary Edition’s Arrival is Imminent

Xiaomi has recently confirmed that it will be holding a launch event in Shenzhen, China. The 2018 Annual Product Launch that is slated to take place at Shenzhen is speculated to be the most important product launch event of the year for the company. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has already revealed that a variety of new products will be announced at the event. However, the exact date of the launch event is yet to be disclosed. In the recent past, a couple of tipsters from China have claimed that Xiaomi has a product launch event at the end of this month. A leaked screenshot that has surfaced today has revealed that the company has already sold tickets for an upcoming Shenzhen event that is scheduled to take place on May 31.

The below image clearly shows the May 31 date. Also, the tickets for the forthcoming event are priced between 799 Yuan (~$125) and 1,999 Yuan (~$314). The details mentioned in the image shows that the event will be accommodating a large capacity of 5,000 people. The launch event for the Mi MIX 2S that was held in March housed 2,000 people. This indicates that the Chinese firm will launch multiple products at the launch event including the rumored Xiaomi Mi 8^th Anniversary Edition smartphone.

It appears that the Xiaomi Mi 8^th Anniversary smartphone exists for real as the company has it has been formally introduced in the Mi Community.

The product name was also recently spotted among other Xiaomi devices on the Chinese version of the Mi Store app.

Also, an image showing the 3D face recognition module of the phone was recently revealed by the rumor mill.

Update: Freshly leaked photos showing the box package and front panel of the alleged Xiaomi Mi 8 have also appeared.

What could be the reason Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi Mi 8 phone? In December 2013, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had entered bet worth 1 billion yuan with business rival Dong Mingzhu, the President of Gree Electronics Appliances by saying that his company would outdo Gree Group in business volume in five years. After Jun and Mingzhu confirmed on the bet, Xiaomi co-founder and senior vice president Li Wanqiang had claimed on Weibo that regardless of the outcome of the bet, the company would give away 100 Xiaomi Mi 8 units.

The year 2018 happens to be the fifth year of the bet. If the company does not launch Xiaomi Mi 8 this year, Li Wanqiang could end up breaking his promise.

Xiaomi is expected to debut Xiaomi Mi 7, Mi 8^th Anniversary Edition phone and Mi Band 3 fitness tracker at the May 31 Shenzhen event. Last year, Xiaomi had launched the Mi Max 2 in May. Hence, fans are eagerly waiting for the Mi Max 3 to get unveiled with a huge 18:9 aspect ratio screen. However, there is no confirmation whether it will be unleashed on May 31.

Yesterday, OnePlus had held a global launch event to proclaim the arrival of the OnePlus 6 smartphone. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has announced its latest flagship phone in the home country. In China, the handset has been introduced with a starting price of 3,199 Yuan (~$503). The company has introduced the OnePlus 6 Avengers Edition with a price tag of 4,199 Yuan (~$660).

OnePlus 6 Specifications and Features

The Chinese OnePlus 6 sports the same design and specs as its global edition. It features notch enabled Optic AMOLED display of 6.28 inches. The OnePlus 6 boasts a premium appeal as it features glass panels on the front and rear sides with an aluminum frame in between. It is the first OnePlus to come with water resistant body. However, the company did not mention the IP rating of the phone at its launch event.

The Snapdragon 845 powers the multiple storage and RAM variants of the phone. The handset does not feature a microSD card slot. Yesterday, OnePlus took the curtains off its latest flagship smartphone — OnePlus 6. Despite launching the new smartphone at a launch event in London, the company has yet another device up its sleeve.

As of the internals, everything in this OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition is expected to remain same as the standard OnePlus 6. It features a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with 2280 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and a tall 19:9 aspect ratio.

While the display features a notch on top, there’s an option to get rid of the notch through the software, but that means you’ll be putting a black bar on the sides of the notch, wasting the available screen space.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm‘s flagship Snapdragon 845 processor along with 6GB / 8GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB internal storage options. There’s dual SIM card slots and support for 40 bands across Europe and Americas.

The phone supports 4K videos at 60 fps which put it in the same ranks as Galaxy S9 and iPhone X. On the front side, it features a 16-megapixel snapper.

It runs on OxygenOS based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box and users can test out the latest Android P Beta version as well. The phone is powered by a 3,300mAh battery and comes with the company’s own Dash Charge 2.0 fast charging technology.

HMD Global will be holding a launch event on May 29 in Russia. The Finnish firm is expected to debut new phones that haven’t been announced before. Rumors are rife that the company may debut the 2018 editions of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 2. A leaked photo of the rear panel of the alleged Nokia 3 (2018) smartphone has surfaced online. It reveals that the smartphone will be arriving with an updated rear design compared to the original Nokia 3.

The leaked image shows that the mysterious Nokia phone features a hard plastic rear shell like the good old Lumia phones. The rear panel of the original Nokia 5 was more rounded and curved towards the edges whereas the Nokia 3 came with a rectangular back panel. Hence, it appears that the rear shell in the newly leaked image could belong to the rumored 2018 edition of the Nokia 3 smartphone.

The changes that can be seen on the back panel of the alleged Nokia 3 (2018) is the inclusion of an elongated camera module that can be found on the recent Nokia phones. Below the camera module is a round-shaped cutout that could belong to the fingerprint scanner. The original Nokia 3 did not feature a fingerprint reader. The presence of a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the rumored Nokia 3 (2018) suggests that it could be arriving with a tall aspect ratio supporting display.

Apart from the company’s logo, the rear panel of the alleged Nokia 3 (2018) features Android One branding towards the bottom. This suggests that this handset too may become a part of the Google’s Android One initiative.

OnePlus 6 Scratch, Burn and Bend Tests Reveal that it’s a Good Daily Driver

OnePlus had a global launch event yesterday to announce the arrival of the OnePlus 6 smartphone. Soon after the launch, Zack from YouTube channel JerryRigEverything released a video to reveal the durability of the OnePlus 6 by making it undergo scratch, burn and bend tests.

OnePlus 6 Scratch Test

The notched screen of the OnePlus 6 is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The rear side of the phone also features Gorilla Glass 5 panel. The front and rear sides of the OP6 developed scratches on level 6 of Mohs scale of hardness. Like other phones with Gorilla Glass 5, the OnePlus ended up with deeper grooves on level 7.

The notch of the phone houses the selfie camera and speaker grille. A deliberate attempt to remove the speaker grille turned futile as it has been solidly attached to the device. The selfie camera remains safe under the Gorilla Glass 5 layer. The frame of the phone along with the buttons are made out of metal. The manufacturer has added a cushion layer of soft plastic between the glass and metal frame. Its inclusion protects the glass panels of the phone from cracking easily when it is dropped. The dual rear cameras, fingerprint scanner and the logo of the company are well-protected from scratches as they placed under the layer of Gorilla Glass 5.

OnePlus 6 Burn Test for Display

The 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED notched screen of the OnePlus 6 offers an aspect ratio of 19:9 and FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. When the screen was treated with flame, it took around 20 seconds for affected to turn black and it did not recover.

After months of leaks, the OnePlus 6 flagship phone was unveiled yesterday. OnePlus is known for launching special limited-edition versions of its smartphones. Last year, the Chinese manufacturer had launched OnePlus 5 JCC+ and OnePlus 5T Star Wars limited edition smartphones. This year, the company will be launching OnePlus 6 Avengers Limited Edition phone. The leaked renders of the special edition OP6 have already appeared in the recent past. Today, reliable Indian tipster Ishan Agarwal has shared an official render of the OnePlus 6 Avengers: Infinity War Limited Edition.

The OnePlus 6 Avengers: Infinity War Limited Edition is slated to get official today in India. The leaked official render of the phone reveals that its front design is not different from the OnePlus 6. Hence, it features a 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED display with a notch at the top. In the render, the handset can be seen spotting a customized wallpaper of Avengers.

By flipping the phone to its back, one can see its carbon fiber-like appearance instead of the glossy finish seen on the regular OP6. Below the vertical dual camera setup and fingerprint scanner is a prominent golden colored logo of the company. Further down is the Avengers logo in gold color. The repositioned Alert Slider that now sits on the right of the device is also in gold.

As far as specs are concerned, the OnePlus 6 Avengers: Infinity War Limited Edition will be powered by Snapdragon 845 and 8 GB of RAM. It will be featuring an internal storage of 256 GB. For photography, it features 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual camera setup and a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel.

As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing of the OnePlus 6 Avengers: Infinity War Limited Edition smartphone. A leaked image that had surfaced at the beginning of this month that it will be available in a special retail box that features a large-sized Avengers logo at the top. Xiaomi E6 with Snapdragon 625, 3 GB RAM Found Listed on Geekbench

Recently, a smartphone labelled as Xiaomi Strakz was spotted on Geekbench benchmarking platform with Snapdragon 625 and 4 GB of RAM. Today, another phone from the Chinese manufacturer named Xiaomi E6 has appeared on the benchmarking site.

The Xiaomi E6 Geekbench listing reveals that it is fueled by an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.0 GHz. However, the exact model number of processor is not mentioned on Geekbench. It is speculated that the Xiaomi E6 could be powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset. The SoC of the Xiaomi E6 is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and the handset is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo.

In single-core test, the Xiaomi E6 has salvaged 841 points whereas it has scored 4259 points in multi-core test. Since these scores are similar to the Geekbench scores of the Xiaomi Mi 5X, it seems that the smartphone could be powered by the good old Snapdragon 625. Xiaomi E6 could be yet another Redmi series phone from the company or it could be an international version of the recently unveiled Redmi S2.

Apart from Xiaomi E6 and Strakz, other phones such as Xiaomi Cactus and Xiaomi Cereus have also appeared on Geekbench. It is speculated that Cactus and Cereus models could be the two variants of the rumored Xiaomi Redmi 5X smartphone

At present, Xiaomi seems to be focused on the upcoming 2018 Annual Product Launch event that will be held at Shenzhen. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has confirmed that a variety of new devices will be announced at the upcoming event. The company is yet to reveal the date of the event. It is speculated that Xiaomi may announce products like Xiaomi Mi 7, Xiaomi Mi 8^th Anniversary Edition smartphone and Mi Band 3 fitness tracker.
