From yesterday, we have the picture of Meizu smartphone that running with Smartisan OS, and those picture can be described the fact that the phone let us somewhat disappointed.
MT6592 three versions reviewed
Before buying anything you need good comparison with something. In the world of technology, there is ‘war’ to make products better and leader in the race. So now the hottest eight core models will undoubtedly be seen as a powerful machine. These eight core models use MediaTek MT6592 CPU but frequency seems different. Here today we are going to look at the comparison and finally at the ending please do not forget to look at the differences between them.
0.3GHz How much bad MT6592 can be against the same door:
There are two modes which are equipped with MediaTek eight core CPU, First one is MediaTek MT6592 and another is MT6592M. These are divided into MT6592 that is 1.7 GHz frequency and the other two version of 2.0 GHz frequency, and here in this article there are three brothers in three main characters.
MediaTek eight cores can run simultaneously:
In this current case, we could not found relevant information even in the website. There are limited documentation and information regarding this current MediaTek’s device. After reading this article readers will find satisfactory answer, as well as information.

0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592 0.3GHz MT6592 with the door against the three brothers
1.4GHz MT6592M CPU-Z parameters
0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592 0.3GHz MT6592 with the door against the three brothers

1.7GHz MT6592 CPU-Z parameters
0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592 0.3GHz MT6592 with the door against the three brothers

2.0GHz MT6592T CPU-Z parameters
In fact these MediaTek MT6592 with MediaTek MT6592M in architecture and technology are identical, both processor are using the same 28-nanometer CPU technology, which is common in Smartphone and new modern processor but they also are using a 8-based Cortex-A7 core architecture. Both devices’ main differences are mainly related to the frequency and GPU frequency and it can create certain impact here.
software running disparity, Measured performance:
If you are interested in this DIY, computer users must be aware about the same architecture, cache, process, instruction sets and other parameters, Undoubtedly the best way to improve the performance is CPU clocking. We can see MT6592, MT6592M for a three versions of the frequency little or of no difference on performance, so then I have to prepare the scores to compare the differences between these devices. Many users are familiar with the software to run Sub ANTUTU and because of this article we are reviewing only MT6592, MT6592M clocked in the three versions of the CPU.
0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592 0.3GHz MT6592 with the door against the three brothers

1.4GHz MT6592M ANTUTU run points
0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592 0.3GHz MT6592 with the door against the three brothers
1.7GHz MT6592 ANTUTU run points
0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592 0.3GHz MT6592 with the door against the three brothers

2.0GHz MT6592T ANTUTU run points
Floating point score of the integer three CPU is decreased in stepwise manner, which can be also the three sided shows and here frequency is only the parameter affecting their overall performance. I compared the all versions of the processor and GPU score in ANTUTU which has 3D and 2D drawing of two small items, 1.7GHz and 2.0GHz versions 1.4GHz’s MT6592M score is slightly lower, MT6592 score is basically the same,
0.3GH MT6592Energy difference
3D Mark score comparison Three versions MT6592
After this I also used 3D Mark GPU for software testing on the Smartphone that they had been tested. From the test results we can see that both the Extreme mode or normal mode, 1.7Ghz and 2.0GHz scores are somehow same to the MT6592 of, 1.4GHz’s MT6592M score is slightly lower.
0.3GHz MT6592 Difference
Mali-450MP resolved
MediaTek MT6592M and MT6592 models are equipped with GPU Mali-450MP, because its 1.7Ghz GPU frequency of MT6592 700MHz, As stated above we can read that the test version of the MT6592 2.0GHz GPU frequencies are 700MHz, and 1.4GHz. The MT6592M’s GPU frequency should be 600MHz. The things to be noted here is that, there is no view on the Android Platform currently. So the data drawn and conclusions in only inferred and no official data to support are found, that is why the article of mine exist.
Practical experience of Video Test:
At the final stage of test later, I have all three versions of these CPU’s also carried out some aspects of the actual experience, , not for users who bought the phone run points, so more concerned point here is experience differences in terms of users,
Firstly, I tested the video on their terms to see if there are some difference between them or not. We evaluate then in 15 different formats on 1080 P video segment.
0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592
1.4GHz MT6592M test results
0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592
1.7GHz MT 6592 test results
0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592
2.0GHz MT6592T test results
Now here we can see three different versions of the supported formats MT6592 which slightly differ, except for the fact that these differences CPU are also because the Smartphone system itself and the some players decided that they are third-party installed player is normal play system, and in the fluency of the three versions of the processor does not exist qualitative difference, if observed by the naked eye we can’t find noted difference.
Large-scale 3D game test GPU
In addition to the video, the author also directed the three versions of the CPU to actual game, after all, in addition to scores of different CPU, GPU score seems to be different between them, while the gap on these scores could cause our experience will need to pass the test.
I decided to test the game “Need for Speed OL” as a test, because this is large 3D racing game for Smartphones. GPU ask for higher performance for feedback and more apparent. In addition to participating in the test model different CPU, RAM same as 2GB, we try our best on not to let other objective factors affect our test results.
0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592
1.4GHz MT6592M running Need for Speed OL Screenshot

1.7GHz MT 6592 running Need for Speed OL Screenshot

2.0GHz MT6592T running Need for Speed OL Screenshot
0.3GHz energy difference? MT6592
Through the demo of Need for Speed OL, we do not feel there is any difference in processor performance, and the screen and special effects have performed very well, they have not dropped frames, pixels etc. There seems some noted differences in GPU frequency but in actual use they don’t seems or feel a significant difference.
Summary:
And by the test running we came to find out noted differencess between MT6592M 1.7GHz/2.0GHz MT6592 and 1.4GHz, we found some of the noted difference in the score and performance. but it actually did not cause much gap in the actual experience so consumers won’t be disappointed. If consumer actually care about the performance or want to play big 3D and normal games then i recommend selecting of 1.7GHz/2.0GHz of MT6592M.
OnePlus One organizes contest to give invites
Fortunately we have got some hands-on experience with OnePlus One phone. But there are some people who are waiting for invitation to buy one. The company knows this, and have invitation plans. They have developed an innovative way to do this. As from their blog quoted below they have planned a contests, they are offering invites to the forum members. The blog is given here:
We also want to show our gratitude to those early believers that have supported us from the beginning. So we’re giving invites to some of our earliest members to buy the 64GB version of the One. Without their encouragement and invaluable feedback, we honestly couldn’t have made it this far. We certainly wouldn’t have made this big of an impact. Our system will automatically allocate invites based on these three parameters:
- Your “forum age” – the earlier you joined our forums, the higher you will be ranked
- Your participation – you must have a minimum amount of posts (it’s less than what you think!)
- Recent activity – we want our members to still be with us!
With this invite, you’ll finally have the chance to buy the phone you’ve been waiting for: the One. We want to protect the rights of our users and avoid accidentally creating a second-hand invite market, as such you’ll have 24 hours to make good use of your invite. If you decide not to use it, we will pass it on for you to the next person in the queue.
As apparent from the conditions they are offering invites to old forum members, which is a nice gesture. It will save them from invites influx. The buyers interest level can be gauged through their presence on the forum whether they are interested in OnePlus One. Currently there are 48,327 members on the forum. Are you one of those hard die fan of OnePlus One to get an invite!

Why is Android Phone always laggy?
Many people look at cell phones and want to see the number of cores in the processor, with the belief that multi-cores perform well and will not be slow. But when they buy eight-core phones and still feel they are slow, then they complain, “why is eight-core still slow?” Here is the answer broken down for you.
1. What processor is not slow?
In fact, a smoothly running system is not closely related to having multiple cores. Here smooth includes two parts. First is the system itself, actually the smoothness of the application starter. Second is the smoothness of operation of different applications.
What affects these two things is not how many cores you have, but rather the performance of individual cores and memory bandwidth.
In most cases, our starter and applications can only use one or two cores, can rarely use four, and to use eight is extremely rare.
So is the deciding factor in speed not having multiple cores, but individual core performance?
The market now offers A7, A9, A15, various editions of Snapdragon, as well as Intel processors, with large differences in performance.
If you are using A7, eight-core is not even as good as an A15 dual-core. When it comes to smoothness, the frequency and type of individual cores is more important, having a larger number of cores is useless.
2. Memory bandwidth is actually more crucial.
Smart phones and tablets are all SOC, meaning the graphics core is integrated, sharing memory bandwidth with the CPU, with no independent memory. And resolution is getting better for phones and tablets, this puts a great demand on memory bandwidth.
Programs need to run inside the internal memory. If the processor is quick, and the memory access speed can not keep up, the system will still be slow. And as resolution increases, so will the demand on memory bandwidth.
When memory bandwidth is not enough and resolution is too high, no matter how fast the processor is the system will still be slow.
In the early days of Android, WVGA resolution was only 800*600=480,000 pixels, not much pressure on memory bandwidth.
But with soaring Android resolution, bandwidth became a problem. So how much bandwidth is needed? Let’s refer to Apple.
The New iPad is a very interesting short-lived product. Its processor and resolution can be used as a reference. A5X is actually only a dual-core A9 processor, the host frequency is not high, on the level of MT6577.
Supporting the New iPad’s smooth operation is the powerful A5X graphics performance and memory bandwidth reaching 12.8GB/s.
The New iPad’s resolution is 2048*1536=3,140,000 pixels. That is to say, Apple believes that 4GB/s of bandwidth for every 1,000,000 pixels can guarantee basic smoothness.
At the same time as the A5X, the A9 quad-core bandwidth was only 4.2GB/s and 6.4GB/s. They used a resolution of 1280*720=920,000 pixels. Every 1,000,000 pixels uses 4GB/s of bandwidth, so fundamentally it can guarantee smoothness.
And now with resolution of 1920*1080=2,070,000 pixels, only the 8064 with 8.3GB/s bandwidth can manage to support it.
That is why the first generation 1080P smart phones all used APQ8064.
The latest Qualcomm 801 (8974AC) memory bandwidth reaches 14.9GB/s, supporting 2560*1440=3,680,000 pixels. That is just over the 4GB/s per 1,000,000 pixel bottom line, but is still fundamentally smooth. That is why several of the latest phones dare to support this fundamental resolution.
But, several other processors on the market are not so optimistic. The MT6592 bandwidth is about 5.3GB/s, to support 720P is not a problem; but to support 1080P, each 1,000,000 pixels only gets 2.56GB/s. No matter how optimized the starter is, it will be hard to be smooth, that is why eight-core is still slow.
Similarly, the Huawei Ascend K910 bandwidth is 6.4GB/s, like the MT6592, but strains to support 1080P.
Lately, I tested an Intel ATOM Z3735D tablet, 3,140,000 pixels with only 10.6GB/s of bandwidth, and it felt slow.
Memory bandwidth is actually more critical than the processor.

OnePlus CEO reveals the secret behind economical pricing
One Plus CEO Peter Lau unveiled the secret behind the low pricing of its high-end features phone which rivals Nexus Pricing. OnePluse One Smartphone is affordable due to the fact that we are taking no profits at it.
He told that OnePlus is selling OnePlus One at cost. We are able to do this by redistributing costs to benefit the consumer. He didn’t clearify as how the product will sustain itself as no profits are being taken.
He said instead of allocating large sum to marketing we are relying on online marketing and community interaction. Instead of retailer we are banking on the selling device online.
The marketing policy of OnePlus is different from its adversaries. Mainly Samsung, which has allocated large amount for marketing which is paralleled by Apple. OnePlus said that his company is more focused on marketing at a level which is nearer to consumer thus passing on the saving to the buyers.
Google added Paypal option for Google Wallet, 12 countries is supported

Apart from UK and the US, the 12 countries include Austrian, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France , Germany, Ireland, Italy, Dutch and Spain.
Just be aware, Paypal payment only supports APP download and digital contant (e.g. movies hiring), it can’t buy accessories or equipments.
International Huawei Ascend P6 will only get KitKat in June
From time to time Huawei will get into the international market with new smartphones that are interesting, but the Chinese company is really poor at getting the software updates. This case has been there since the Huawei joined the android camp, and sadly enough it seems things have not changed even a bit.
The Huawei Ascend P6 was the company’s flagship offering from last year, went on to be what many of us thought to be the best seller outside China, taking the credit for its incredible slim design as well as its affordability but not giving any promises for future software support.
Huawei promised back in November, 2013 that the latest version of the Ascend P6 would run on the latest version of android before the end of January, 2014. But we are already in mid May yet there is no update in sight for the Ascend P6 which sold into the international markets. Matter are even worsened by the fact that the company expects to release the updates in early June.
If this is ever going to be true, which is highly doubted given Huawei’s past records, it implies that the Ascend P6 will be seven months late in getting the android 4.4 Kitkat since this will be seven months after the launch of the android. This will definitely be a negative record to be attributed to the best selling Smartphone.
