The premium foldable smartphone segment is becoming more competitive, and the Vivo X Fold 6 and Honor Magic V6 are among the most advanced book-style foldables available. Both feature flagship processors, premium AMOLED displays, large silicon-carbon batteries, wireless charging, and versatile triple-camera systems. However, they target different priorities.

Vivo focuses on imaging, battery life, and multimedia, while Honor emphasizes portability, software longevity, durability, and productivity. Here’s a detailed comparison to help determine which foldable delivers the better overall experience.

Design and Display

Build and Feel

Both smartphones deliver premium craftsmanship with aluminum frames and excellent durability. The Vivo X Fold 6 features IP58/IP59 protection and a glass-fiber reinforced plastic rear panel that feels sturdy while maintaining a refined finish. Honor raises the bar with IP68/IP69 protection, a stronger armored inner display, NanoCrystal Shield on the cover screen, anti-reflective coating, and stylus support on both displays. Those additions make it feel slightly more versatile for productivity and long-term durability. Vivo, however, offers a polished flagship feel that prioritizes photography and entertainment without compromising build quality.

Display Quality

The Vivo X Fold 6 sports a larger 8.02-inch LTPO AMOLED inner display with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and excellent color reproduction. Its cover display also supports Dolby Vision and reaches 5,000 nits peak brightness. Honor counters with a 7.95-inch LTPO2 AMOLED panel featuring 4,320Hz PWM dimming for better eye comfort, while its cover display reaches an impressive 6,000 nits. Both offer smooth 120Hz refresh rates, but Honor’s eye-friendly display technologies make daily usage slightly more comfortable, whereas Vivo’s Dolby Vision support enhances movie watching.

Verdict

Honor Magic V6 offers a more feature-rich display package thanks to stronger durability, stylus compatibility, higher brightness, and advanced eye protection. Vivo X Fold 6 remains an outstanding choice for users who prioritize immersive multimedia experiences.

Specifications Including Battery

Performance

The Vivo X Fold 6 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset paired with UFS 4.1 storage, delivering flagship-level performance for gaming, multitasking, AI features, and demanding workloads. Honor Magic V6 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which offers stronger graphics performance and excellent efficiency. Both phones provide up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, ensuring smooth long-term usage. Honor also promises up to seven major Android upgrades, making it a stronger long-term software investment. Vivo’s hardware remains exceptionally capable, especially for users seeking raw speed combined with optimized camera processing.

Battery and Charging

Battery life is one of Vivo’s strongest advantages. It packs a massive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging, making it ideal for heavy users. Honor ships with a 6,660mAh global battery while Chinese variants receive larger capacities. It supports the same 80W wired charging but improves wireless charging to 66W. Vivo’s larger battery generally provides better endurance, while Honor finishes charging wirelessly much faster.

Verdict

Honor Magic V6 offers a stronger chipset and superior software commitment, but Vivo X Fold 6 wins for endurance with its significantly larger battery. Users prioritizing long battery life may find Vivo more rewarding.

Camera

Main and Secondary Lenses

Photography is where Vivo clearly aims to stand out. Its 200MP primary sensor captures exceptional detail, while the 50MP ZEISS periscope telephoto and 50MP ultrawide cameras are enhanced by ZEISS optics, T* coating, Laser AF, and a color spectrum sensor. Honor Magic V6 features a capable 50MP primary camera, a 64MP 3x periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera that delivers reliable versatility. Video recording favors Vivo with 8K support, whereas Honor tops out at 4K but includes 10-bit recording for richer color reproduction. Vivo feels more photography-focused, while Honor offers a balanced camera system suitable for everyday shooting.

Selfie Camera

Both devices feature dual 20MP selfie cameras, one inside and one on the cover display. Honor gains an advantage by supporting 4K selfie video with gyro-EIS, while Vivo records up to 1080p. For content creators and video calls, Honor delivers a more capable front-camera experience.

Verdict

Vivo X Fold 6 is the strongest overall camera phone thanks to its impressive 200MP main sensor, ZEISS imaging system, and 8K recording. Honor Magic V6 remains excellent, especially for selfie videos and balanced everyday photography.

Pricing

The Vivo X Fold 6 is priced around $1,200 (approximately ₹1,11,000), while the Honor Magic V6 is priced around $1,300 (approximately ₹1,10,000). Although the listed regional pricing is very close in Indian currency, Honor generally carries a higher global asking price. Vivo delivers flagship hardware, a larger battery, and a superior primary camera at a slightly lower international price point. Honor justifies its premium with better durability, stylus support, longer software support, and more advanced display technologies. The difference ultimately depends on whether productivity or multimedia is the higher priority.

Verdict

Vivo X Fold 6 delivers stronger value for buyers focused on hardware performance, battery life, and camera quality. Honor Magic V6 earns its premium through long-term software support, productivity features, and premium durability, making it worthwhile for users planning to keep the device for many years.

Disclaimer:
Prices are approximate and may vary based on country, region, launch timing, and applicable taxes. Always check whether the listed price is for a China unit or a global/international variant when purchasing.

Conclusion

The Vivo X Fold 6 distinguishes itself with a 200MP ZEISS camera system, massive 7,000mAh battery, Dolby Vision displays, 8K video recording, and excellent multimedia capabilities. Honor Magic V6 responds with flagship Snapdragon performance, seven years of Android upgrades, stylus support on both displays, stronger water resistance, brighter cover display, anti-reflective coating, and one of the most durable foldable designs available. Each phone targets a slightly different audience, making the decision easier once priorities are established.

Verdict

Choose the Vivo X Fold 6 if photography, battery endurance, entertainment, and overall hardware value matter the most. Choose the Honor Magic V6 if long-term software support, productivity, display comfort, and premium durability are higher priorities.

Although the Honor Magic V6 wins more spec-sheet categories, the Vivo X Fold 6 is the better overall choice because its 200MP ZEISS camera, larger 7,000mAh battery, superior multimedia experience, and lower price deliver greater real-world value for most users.

Disclaimer: This comparison is based on the specifications provided and is intended for general informational purposes. Actual performance, camera results, battery life, and overall experience may vary depending on real-world usage, software updates, and individual preferences.

The evolution of foldable smartphones

The foldable journey began in 2019 with devices like the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X, which, although innovative, had issues such as fragile screens, bulky designs, and high costs. These early models were more experimental than practical choices for everyday users.

By 2025, however, the narrative has shifted. Brands like Samsung, Huawei, Vivo Oppo, Xiaomi, Honor, and Google have invested heavily in overcoming these challenges. Foldables now boast enhanced durability, refined features, and prices that appeal to a broader audience. Technologies such as ultra-thin glass, crease-less designs, and water resistance have become standard, redefining the category.

Improved durability and cutting-edge designs

Early criticisms of foldables centred around their vulnerability to wear and tear. Screens scratched easily, and hinges failed with extended use. However, recent innovations have addressed these issues. Ultra-thin glass reinforced with strong coatings ensures screens are more resilient. Devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Vivo X Fold 3 series, and Oppo Find N3 feature durable, smooth hinge systems.

Foldables are also sleeker and lighter, making them more practical for daily use. Structural improvements, including reinforced frames and adhesives, contribute to better build quality. Features like IP ratings for water and dust resistance are now common, making foldables more reliable and versatile than ever before. Initially, foldable phones faced prominent screen crease issues, which became more noticeable as the device aged and experienced more folds. However, brands have made significant strides in reducing the screen crease in newer models, so it is no longer a major concern.

Enhanced functionality for diverse needs

Foldables are no longer just eye-catching gadgets but offer functionality that sets them apart from traditional smartphones. Their larger fold-out displays are perfect for multitasking, gaming, and immersive media consumption. Features like split-screen multitasking and app continuity have been optimised, allowing seamless transitions between folded and unfolded modes.

The flip-style foldables, such as the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, Huawei Magic V Flip, Xiaomi Mix Flip, and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, have seen significant improvements in hinge durability, better cameras, and decreased screen creases. These updates have made it easier for users to perform multiple tasks without needing to open the phone, enhancing the overall user experience. The increase in external screen sizes on these devices allows for more functionality without unfolding, making them even more convenient for daily use.

Foldables come in different form factors to cater to various user preferences. Compact and stylish models like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 appeal to trend-conscious users, while productivity-focused devices like the Huawei Mate X6 target professionals. This diversity ensures foldables can meet a range of needs, making them more than just a niche product.

Breaking the price barrier

Affordability has historically been a major roadblock for foldable adoption. Early models often cost upwards of $2,000, limiting their appeal to affluent consumers. However, by 2025, the landscape has shifted. Manufacturing advancements and competitive pricing have brought foldable smartphones closer to the cost of premium flagships. Devices like the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Vivo X Fold 3 are available at more reasonable prices.

Trade-in programs and carrier subsidies have further reduced the cost barrier, making foldables more accessible to a wider audience. As these trends continue, foldable adoption is expected to grow rapidly.

Final Thoughts

Looking ahead to this year, foldable phones are expected to become even thinner and lighter. The upcoming Oppo Find N5, measuring around 4.2mm in its unfolded state, is being touted as the world’s thinnest foldable phone. The Magic V3, currently holding the title of the lightest foldable phone at 226 grams, may soon see competition from upcoming models weighing under 220 grams.

While challenges remain, the rapid pace of innovation suggests that foldables are no longer a passing trend but a cornerstone of the smartphone industry. Foldables are finally fulfilling the hype for those seeking a blend of cutting-edge technology and practicality.

According to an IDC report, the global shipments of foldable phones in 2027 will hit a total of 21.4 million units more than in 2023. This marks a rise of a whopping 50 percent over the 14.2 million units that were sold in 2022. The report adds that shipments of foldable phones will total a sizeable 48.1 million units in 2027 alone. In other words, this marks a compound annual growth rate of 27.6 percent from 2022 to 2027.

On the other hand, regular smartphone models are expected to reach 1,322.9 million units in 2027, marking a compound annual growth rate of 2.1 percent during the same 5 year period. IDC estimates that the average selling price of smartphones will also fall by around 6.8 percent. This estimation is based on OEMs making improvements in durability and build quality along with software and hardware upgrades.

As per Anthony Scarsella, Research Manager, Mobile Phones at IDC, “The foldable phone market finished slightly higher than previously forecast as consumers start to embrace the new form factor. A 10% decline in ASP helped the market grow 75.5% in 2022, as foldable devices became more affordable in numerous markets. With new vendors and models joining the race this year, we expect the foldable market to be the one bright spot in 2023 with 50.5% growth, while the total smartphone market contracts 1.1%.”

As enticing as it seems, the foldable phone market isn’t everyone’s bet, at least as of yet. Since the market currently only caters to the premium segment. Despite this, as per a report, over 7.1 million foldable devices were shipped in 2021. Isn’t that an impressive figure? Well, this figure is expected to increase by 2025(as per IDC).

According to Internation Data Corporation(IDC), the foldable smartphone market has seen significant growth. In 2020, a total of 1.9 million foldable phones were shipped. This number increased, rather more than tripled in 2021. As for the 2021 stats, the foldable market shipment grew by 264.3% making it a total of 7.1 million shipped devices.

These figures are expected to increase even further as the foldable technology advances and caters even the lower-range segment. IDC says that the foldable phones market will see a compound annual growth rate(CAGR) of 69.9% by 2025.

Samsung plays a major role in the growth of the foldable market as it has two different foldable offerings targeted towards two different markets. Currently, the company has its Galaxy Z Flip3 that offers a compact design while having foldable technology. On the other hand, the Z Fold3 eliminates the need for having a tablet by bringing a large form factor in a foldable phone.

Not just the looks, both devices come powered by the powerful Snapdragon 888 chipset. Both offer good cameras and start at a $999 price tag.

The test shows the device being subjected to the scratch, burn and bend tests and since foldable phones are known for their fragility, it would interest you to know that the Mate X2 was able to withstand some of the torturous processes.

During the scratch test, the outward display is confirmed to have a tempered glass covering as it scratches at level 6 with deeper grooves at level 7 on the Mohs hardness scale. The inner display which is the flexible panel isn’t so lucky. It scratches at level 2 while deeper grooves start appearing at level 3. The fingernails can even make deep grooves on the fragile display panel.

It is usually rare to find a device that the display panel survives JerryRigEverythings’ burn test. The Mate X2 isn’t different but the outer display performs a lot better than the inner panel.

The bend test is what should interest you the most as it shows Huawei has finally gotten the build quality right. The YouTuber applied extreme pressure in bending the device backward and it didn’t snap. It is surprising that the Mate X2 has a better durability outlook than some flagship gaming phones like the Lenovo Legion 2 gaming phone that snapped into two under light pressure. He even applied sand on the crease area of the screen but it turned out that the phone is dustproof.

Now a leaker has confirmed that Google is indeed planning a foldable Pixel phone.

The info comes from Jon Prosser who is best known for his Apple-related leaks. The leaker posted a tweet that said “the google pixel fold is a real thing”. In a reply to a tweet asking when the phone will launch, he says that it will arrive late this year or early next year. Of course, when it arrives, it will go by a different name and not Pixel Fold.

Google already added support for foldable phones with the release of Android 10. The operating system has native support for foldable devices with different folding patterns. Features such as app continuity, resizable apps, and multi-window support for more than two apps are baked into Android.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Samsung will be making the foldable OLED displays for Google, Xiaomi, and OPPO. We expect the display to have a high refresh rate like the Galaxy Z Fold 2. However, we do not know if it will have a design similar to the Galaxy Z Flip or Motorola Razr or if it will be a phone that unfolds into a tablet.

Notwithstanding, We are excited to see Google’s first foldable phone as it will definitely have software features not available on other foldable phones powered by Android.

Also, most of the processors released this year by the major chip makers were integrated with a 5G modem. However foldable phones did not experience the same level of proliferation, mainly due to the fact that it is still an expensive venture and the durability is still not awesome. However, OEMs seem to be progressing to another foldable form factor – Rollable displays.

Recently, OPPO unveiled the X 2021, its first and indeed the world’s first concept phone with a rollable display. The company even released a demo video of the device while in use and it looks amazing. It was later revealed that the display was manufactured by Chinese display maker BOE and that it was able to withstand 100,000 rigorous curls when tested.

Looks like we’ll be seeing more rollable display packing phones in 2021 even though we can’t say if they will progress beyond concept phones. An LG rollable phone has reportedly been listed on the database of South Korea’s carrier Intranet. According to the Twitter leaker @Cozyplanes, the device is currently registered in the Korean operator’s internal database. The model of the device is LM-RN910N, while the unlocked model carries the model number OMD-LM-R910N.

Earlier rumors reveal that the specifications of LG’s rollable phone include a 7.4-inch expandable screen with a resolution of 2428×1080 pixels (20:9), a video mode of 2428×1366 pixels (16:9), and a productivity mode of 2428×1600 pixels (3: 2).

Further, the LG Rollable is rumored to pack a 4200mAh battery and will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 16GB of RAM. So don’t expect it to be a cheap phone.

The Twitter tipster @Cozyplanes also revealed details about how the device works. The device will expand on both sides, increasing the screen size by up to 100%. However, the top frame will not expand with the device. According to reports, LG will add a flexible frame that can be expanded to cover the exposed edge of the screen, and then retracted when the phone is closed. The phone will also have a locking device to prevent accidental deployment and prevent the screen from scrolling too fast, which can cause wrinkles on the screen.

LG is not the only company that is developing a mobile phone with a scrollable display. Samsung and TCL join OPPO on the list of OEMs that have applied for patents for smartphones with a scrolling display. Thus, we may certainly see a few more designs from others soon.

Both phones are the only two foldable devices that fold vertically (along the horizontal axis) that consumers can and will be able to buy as the case may be.

There is another category of foldable phones with members like the Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X. These devices not only fold horizontally (along the vertical axis) but they unfold into tablets too unlike the Motorola Razr and Galaxy Flip Z that unfold into “tall” phones.

Since the arrival of both categories of foldable devices, consumers have been divided. Some like the Mate X/Galaxy Fold as they are able to unfold into a larger device while others prefer the Motorola Razr/Galaxy Flip Z for being able to fold into a smaller form factor.

For this week’s poll, we want to know which side of the divide you are. So please take the vote and also drop a comment regarding what you think about the devices and foldable phones in general.

The response is likely to spur the tech giant to continue to work on new foldable phone designs. According to reports from South Korea, as covered by The Bell, Samsung is working on two more foldable smartphones. The models are code-named “Type G” and “Type S,” and they are reported to be two larger variants of the delayed Galaxy Fold.

The details include that the Type G will reportedly feature an 8-inch display when unfolded and two sides that fold in to form the letter “G.” The Type S reportedly features a larger 13-inch display when unfolded and is somewhat shaped like the letter “S.” The Type S sketch was first spotted back in November 2018 when Samsung filed a patent for it. So we have an idea of what the design will look like as shown in the image above. That of the Type G is unknown.

Read Also: Samsung officially announces the postponement of Galaxy Fold release

The report didn’t disclose when the Type G and S will be released but we don’t expect them anytime soon. Samsung may likely not release any other model this year since the Fold is yet to even hit the market. Moreso, with the issues encountered with the Fold, Samsung wouldn’t be in a hurry to push out more foldable phones.

The design of the foldable phone has received both kudos and knocks from various quarters. The analysis of the Galaxy Fold design was further boosted when Huawei unveiled its own foldable phone a few days later. If the Galaxy Fold is beautiful, the Mate X was simply stunning.

The Mate X’s design is a better representation of what many tech enthusiasts believe a foldable phone should be. A recent poll conducted by Android Authority showed that most persons who participated preferred the Galaxy Fold. Some who prefer the Fold cite the hidden nature of the foldable screen which prevents it from getting damaged easily. It may interest such persons to know that Samsung has got other foldable design in the works with one of them having the same design similar to the Mate X.

A recent report on Bloomberg shows the Korean giant is presently working on two new foldable phones. One of the phones is said to feature a clamshell style similar to the Huawei Mate X. Samsung is also said to be thinking along the line of designing a foldable phone that folds vertically with a display on the outside. The company is reportedly still yet to decide if it will keep the outside display. Thee two new designs are being worked on to position the company in a good pedestal to take on the likes of Huawei and Xiaomi who also has a foldable design in the works.

Already, we are starting to see a few smartphones getting launched with 5G technology. While we expect a few other flagships to join the train, it is our opinion that 5G may not pick up fully this year due to the lack of infrastructure. However, since the Galaxy Fold and Mate X are already released, we expect to see a lot more foldable phones in the course of the year.

Corning is definitely gearing up for the emerging trend with reports that the company is working towards manufacturing a screen protector for foldable phones. Foldable phones like the Mate X use plastic polymers which enables the display to bend. However, plastic tends to crease after a certain number of folds and is also more prone to scratches. Now, the Galaxy Fold and Mate X are priced around $2000. Nobody would want to take such risk, especially when it is certain that the replacement screen won’t be anywhere near cheap. On the other hand, a foldable glass display would be able to retain its structure regardless of the number of folds and it would hold up against scratches from keys and coins repeatedly. Thus, the company is working on glass-based protective screen.

Read Also: Where To Pre-order Vivo iQOO Smartphone

Corning has been able to make a glass that’s just 0.1mm thick and can fold to a radius of 5mm. However, since this glass is too thin, it can’t be used on smartphones as it will easily shatter if dropped. Increasing the thickness of the glass without veering out of the 3-to5-millimetre bend radius range is a technical challenge and the company is currently working on improving it. The company is reportedly experimenting with the fusion of the rollable Willow Glass and Gorilla Glass presently. The technology involves immersing the glass into a molten salt solution. Unfortunately, this corrodes the transistors found in the display so Willow Glass is currently not suitable for smartphones. Corning believes a solution will pop-up in a few years time that would be drop-resistant and have a tighter bend radius.

We don’t have a clear timeline of when the top brands will unveil their own foldable model but Samsung, LG and Huawei have been revealed to have something in the works. Popular tipster Eva Blass has disclosed via a recent tweet that LG will unveil its own foldable phone at its own keynote at CES 2019.

No leaked photo of the LG foldable phone has been seen but a patent filed and approved by the US Patent and Trademark Office in late 2017 suggests the smartphone will most likely fold horizontally just like Samsung’s foldable. LG was recently rumoured as working with Lenovo to release a foldable table. So, we may really be seeing a foldable model from LG next year.

Despite the surge in patents, we can only boast of the ZTE Axon M as the only foldable phone that has been commercialized. Even at that, the Axon M isn’t really a true foldable phone as it appears to be a single phone with two screens. However, a report by DigiTimes says that the first wave of truly foldable smartphones is likely to make their debut at the end of 2018.

According to the report, a number of brand vendors are accelerating their R&D efforts on related projects, according to industry watchers. The smartphone market leader, Samsung is expected to unveil its roadmap for its foldable models in 2018 according to a report by Korea-based ET News. Samsung Electronics already has a number of patents related to foldable smartphones in Korea and the US. The report also says that Samsung has been developing smartphones with inward-folding displays since five years ago and the manufacturing process has reached up to 80% completion.

Apart from Samsung, U.S tech giant Apple is also said to have applied a number of patents for clamshell smartphones, including one for a tri-fold display design, according to the watchers. Apple’s patents are said to have applicability in other products apart from smartphones. So, it is uncertain Apple will join the train this year.

Nevertheless, if Samsung is to release a truly foldable smartphone this year, then we expect a surge in such design by Chinese OEMs. adding that Apple could also use its folding technology in products other than smartphones. Chinese tech leader, Huawei has long been detailed to be working on a foldable phone by various patent applications. The latest patent filing published on the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)website is that of a foldable phone design that can be turned into a tablet Huawei in September 2017 also applied for a patent for a single display screen that can be folded in the middle. In that vein, Huawei is tipped as planning to unveil its first foldable smartphone by the end of 2018.

Other OEMs who have got foldable phone design patents include LG electronics, Oppo, Lenovo and ZTE. OPPO applied patents for foldable smartphones first in 2017, and again for other patents in 2018, with patent authorities in China. Meanwhile, Lenovo has unveiled a foldable smartphone prototype whose display can be extended to 7.8-inch from 5.5-inch when opened. Lenovo has not yet announced a timetable for the production of the foldable smartphone. ZTE may improve on the Axon M design, thus giving us a truly foldable phone. According to Strategy Analytics, global shipments of foldable smartphones are expected to total 700,000 units in 2019 and will gradually expand to 30.4 million in 2021 and to 50.1 million in 2022.

Both the phones can transform into a tablet with a much bigger screen.

When folded, the first model can show information like the time on an external display, which should have the size of a typical smartphone display. The screen size could be smaller, given that we can see a camera sensor at the bottom. There are two cameras on this model, on opposite sides. The one with the flash is likely the primary camera.

The second LG smartphone patented is similar to the first one, but has an additional element. It seems that it will not be possible to see a normal display when the phone is folded. When the phone is folded, there is only a sort of sidebar on the outside (instead of a larger sized screen as seen on the first model) which can show the time and probably the notifications. You can see what we are talking about in the images above.

These may not be the first patents we are seeing of foldable smartphones, but it does prove that different companies are developing such smartphones and a commercial release could be possible in the near future. We had seen another foldable design from LG back in January 2017, you can check them out from here.

The latest trend has been the highly popular full-screen design which has found its way into almost all flagship models released in the second half of this year. The full-screen design is also getting an appreciable amount of usage in the mid-range and budget segment as well.

We may be seeing a slight shift from full-screen phone designs to dual screen foldable phones next year. There is a new rumour in town that many mobile phone manufacturers have got the foldable dual-screen phone in the works. This isn’t the first time we are getting such hint and sure, we are not talking about concept design anymore. ZTE recently announced the Axon M with a dual foldable screen design but the reception for that design hasn’t been encouraging. Sharp had also announced a dual screen foldable phone in the past.

Read Also: The Axon M is ZTE’s First Dual Screen Foldable Smartphone

Despite that, the latest news from the Taiwanese industrial chain shows that Huawei, OPPO and South Korea giants Samsung and LG are all actively developing dual-screen foldable phones. However, the design is said to be what would set the models apart as they are trying to eliminate a separation of the two screens in order to get a good visual experience. Huawei Consumer Business VP Yu Chengdong is reported to have disclosed in an interview with CNET that his company is developing a foldable smartphone and the prototype is already out. The Huawei VP also disclosed that the company is trying to perfect the foldable phone design. Yu Chengdong also disclosed that Huawei foldable phone may launch next year depending on how soon they are able to perfect the display. We can’t say for sure when that will be but be rest assured that as soon as the perfect foldable full-screen phone is launched, the market will get busy with different foldable models.
