Motorola says the update began rolling out on December 10, 2019, and expects all devices to have received it by January 10, 2020. This means it is rolling out in stages.

The update arrives as version QPT30.61-18. It comes with the December 2019 security patch and also includes bug fixes and improves system stability.

The Motorola One Power has a 6.2-inch 1080 x 2246 display with aa wide notch at the top. It is powered by the Snapdragon 636 processor and comes with 3GB, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of expandable storage via a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

The phone has 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and a 12MP selfie camera which has its own LED flash. The Motorola One Power has a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W TurboPower fast charge via a USB Type-C port. It also has an audio jack, Dolby Audio, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

When it launched last year, it ran Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It later got updated to Android 9 Pie in November 2018. This Android 10 update might as well be its last Android OS upgrade. However, security updates may continue for the next year or thereabout.

Motorola didn’t announce an Android 10 update roadmap, so we can’t say which device will get the update next. However, its other Android One phones should get it earlier than those not on the Android One program.

Besides having a mammoth battery, it is also one of its phones with the best quality-price ratio, and it clearly debuted to beat the sales of Chinese companies in the same price range under $200. Given its huge battery, we think it is worth comparing it with other last-generation phones that come with the same peculiarity. We are talking about the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and the Motorola One Power, sharing the same enormous battery capacity. Who will win? Let’s discover it together.

Design

If for you the priority is having the front side with the most minimal bezels and the most modern look, go for the Samsung Galaxy M20. It has an Infinity-V display with a very small waterdrop notch and very narrow bezels. If you want a more attractive rear side, you should go for the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 because even though it is made of plastic, it is more beautiful and original. But if you are searching the best build quality, Motorola One Power is the best one as it is solid and splash resistant. Given that we are talking about midrange devices made of cheap materials, I would go for the Motorola One Power due to the better build quality. But note that Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has a more resistant display with the Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

Display

The best display and audio experience is the one offered by the Motorola One Power. It has a wonderful LTPS panel with high brightness and wide viewing angles, and it also supports Dolby Audio for improved audio quality, even though it has a mono speaker just like its rivals. The second place goes to the IPS panel of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 but there is not an abyssal difference between these two panels. Samsung Galaxy M20 has a less convincing display on the paper, but on the other hand, it offers narrower bezels.

Specs & Software

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has the most powerful hardware side as it comes with the better Snapdragon 660 chipset and up to 6 GB of RAM in its most expensive version. Motorola One Power is powered by a less powerful Snapdragon 636, but it comes with Android One, a stock version of the operating system updated directly by Google, which offers a very smooth user experience. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has stock Android too, but it is not part of the Android One program, while Samsung Galaxy M20 has slightly lower-end hardware with a customized Android experience.

Camera

Samsung’s midrange phones always distinguish from the mass due to their satisfying rear cameras, and in this case, it is exactly the same. The Galaxy M20 has great rear cameras and it is able to shoot detailed photos in most scenarios, even though it is far from top camera phones. But, at least on the paper, Motorola One Power seems a slightly better camera phone. We will have to test the Galaxy M20 thoroughly to give a definitive verdict, but the phone is still not available in the global market, so we will have to wait for a while.

Battery

All these phones are focused on battery life and all of them feature an above-average 5000 mAh battery. Batteries like these can make you forget the charger for at least two days, even with stressed usage patterns. It is not easy to quantify the battery life differences of these devices as they vary with the usage and we still had no chance to test the Samsung Galaxy M20. However, all of them are outstanding battery phones. As for now, I would choose the Motorola One Power because it is the only one to feature a fast charging technology that is very important with a so big battery.

Price

If I had to choose one of these phones by basing on the quality-price ratio, I would surely go for the Samsung Galaxy M20 because it costs just €150/$170. But overall, if I do not consider the price, I prefer the Motorola One Power because of Android One, its great display quality, and its very nice build quality. Both the One Power and the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 come with a price of about €270/$307 which goes slightly up or down depending on the market and online street prices.

Design

Asus Zenfone Max M2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and Motorola One Power do not represent anything special when it comes to the aesthetics. They have a full metal unibody design which is a classic on midrange devices. But they come with narrow bezels thanks to their notches. The one I would pick is the Motorola One Power because it is splash resistant, but some might prefer Asus Zenfone Max M2 because it has a higher screen-to-body ratio and it is also the thinnest and most lightweight phone.

Display

Average IPS screens in each case, with a classic Full HD+ resolution except for the Asus Zenfone Max M2 which is only HD+. Asus decided to equip this device with a low-resolution panel in order to save more battery. So if you are looking for the best display quality, Motorola One Power is the most suitable device for you because it features the LTPS technology and a Full HD+ resolution, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sits in the middle.

Specs & Software

Thanks to the Snapdragon 636 chipset, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Motorola One Power provide almost the same level of performance, but I would prefer Motorola One Power because it has Android One and a micro SD dedicated slot allowing to use more than a SIM while you are using the expansion slot too. Asus Zenfone Max M2 has inferior performance because it features the lower-end Snapdragon 632 chipset and just 3 GB of RAM, while its opponents come with up to 6 GB of RAM depending on the market.

Camera

When it comes to photo and videos, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro wins because of its overall camera performance. I like both its dual rear camera and its dual front camera setups, even though the rear one remains a midrange-class setup and it loses a lot of detail in low-light conditions. Motorola One Power is at the second place with a brighter aperture than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro for the rear camera and a pretty nice front camera. We still did not test Asus Zenfone Max M2, but on the paper it is disappointing.

Battery

As said in the first paragraph, the battery is the strongest point of these smartphones which come with huge lithium units. Motorola One Power wins the battery challenge because of a bigger 5000 mAh battery allowing it to last even more than two days with a stressed use. But its opponents still provide a very long battery life, so you should not worry in any case if you are looking for a phone with an excellent battery life.

Price

I would personally choose Motorola One Power because of its bigger battery, Android One and its faster updates, good performances, and decent cameras. But it costs more than its opponents: about €270/$307, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is easy to find at less than €200/$227 and Asus Zenfone Max M2 costs about €171/$195. Anyways, I would definitely spend up to €100 more for a better phone like Motorola One Power. And I hope Lenovo keeps releasing phones with a great quality price-ratio such as Motorola One Power and Lenovo S5 Pro as they are great rivals for the best-selling Chinese phones.

Both the Mi A2 and the Motorola One Power are Android One phones and run a stock version of Android. We are not a bit surprised that both phones are getting a stable Android Pie update now.

At the beginning of the week, the Mi A2 was reported to have gotten an Android Pie beta update while a version of the Motorola One Power running Pie was seen on Geekbench a few weeks ago.

The update for the Mi A2 is 1067.7MB in size and it brings features like Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness, a new navigation system, and recommended apps and actions based on users’ context.

For the Motorola One Power, the update is said to bring longer and improved battery life, a brand new user interface with a redesigned quick settings menu and revamped split-screen. You also get the new swipe-based navigation, Dual SIM Dual VoLTE support, an improvement in camera performance (panorama and low-light images), and a simplified volume control.

The update is rolling out to both devices in India only at the moment but it should hit other regions in the coming days or weeks.

Seeing as the Mi A2 and Motorola One Power are already out of the way, we look forward to their less-powerful variants – the Mi A2 Lite and Motorola One – getting the stable update too.

Since it is an Android One device, it runs on stock version of Android Oreo and is confirmed to receive software updates at a faster pace for 2 years. Recently, the Motorola One Power handset was spotted with Android 9 Pie on Geekbench. Hence, there is a possibility that the Motorola One and One Power phones could be treated with Android 9 Pie OS update before the end of 2018.

As of this writing, Best Buy is the only online store apart from the Motorola’s online store to sell the Motorola One smartphone. The handset carries a price tag $399. The pre-order of the black colored edition of the smartphone have already begun in the U.S. The sales of the handset will begin on Nov. 11. On the said date, the company will be also introducing its white variant in the country. The Motorola One for the U.S. is an unlocked variant of the phone that will work with AT&T and T-Mobile networks.

When it launched, it ran Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. However, Motorola promised that the phone will get updated to Android Pie before the end of the year.

Motorola seems keen on fulfilling its promise as a version of the phone running Android Pie has been seen on Geekbench. The phone was benchmarked on Friday, November 2.

Geekbench says the device is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor which is weird as the Motorola One Power is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor. The clock speed is low for a Snapdragon 660 phone but it is the same as that of other Snapdragon 636 powered-phones benchmarked on the site.

There is a chance the Android Pie update will arrive later this month. The update will bring new features such as a new navigation system, Android wellbeing app, app actions and slices, adaptive battery and adaptive brightness.

The Motorola One Power has a 6.2-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution and an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. It has 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage. There are dual cameras on the rear (16MP+5MP) and a 12MP front-facing camera with its own LED flash. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C port, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Design

Nokia 6.1 Plus is the device with the most modern and attractive design, and it is also the most compact device so it fits better in a pocket. It is the only device in the trio to feature a refined glass back beside its aluminum frame. Xiaomi Mi A2 and Motorola One Power have a full metal unibody design with the first having a better look on the rear side thanks to its U-shaped antenna bands.

Display

If you do not like the notch, then the best display for you is the one of Xiaomi Mi A2. On the other hand, if you do not mind about the presence of a notch and you like to have slimmer bezels, go for the Motorola One Power. Both are displays with a good viewing quality but not high-end ones. Nokia 6.1 Plus has a smaller display without the LTPS technology, so it is a bit worse for advanced users.

Specs & Software

Xiaomi Mi A2 is the most powerful device simply because it comes with a more powerful chipset. We are talking about the Snapdragon 660 by Qualcomm which is paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. However, note that Xiaomi Mi A2 is the only one which does not feature a micro SD slot to expand the internal storage.

Camera

Xiaomi Mi A2 has also the best camera thanks to its outstanding rear setup. It sports two cameras with high resolutions and both the sensors have a bright f/1.8 aperture. This results in an incredible level of detail even when light conditions are not the best. Even the selfie camera is great with its 20 MP resolution. Motorola One Power takes the second place.

Battery

There is no challenge: Motorola One Power is much better. While Xiaomi Mi A2 and Nokia 6.1 Plus have just average batteries with capacities of 3000 and 3060 mAh (respectively), Motorola One Power has a monster 5000 mAh lithium unit which can easily last more than two days. This is the strongest point of this handset.

Price

When it comes to midrange phones, often the battery life makes the difference. I choose Motorola One Power as the winner of this comparison because of its huge battery, even though it is not the most popular handset and it carries the more expensive price tag (about €300/$345). The price tags of Xiaomi Mi A2 and Nokia 6.1 Plus are €220/$253 and €250/$288, respectively.

Earlier this week, the phone was officially launched in India.

While Google has already released the new Android 9.0 Pie, the Motorola One Power ships with Android Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. However, it seems that the phone will receive Android Pie update by the end of this year.

During the phone’s launch in India, Motorola‘s Product Manager Abhishek Kumar said that the company will soon start soak test registrations for the Android 9.0 Pie update, most probably by mid-October. Although Motorola has not revealed exact timeline for the stable Android Pie rollout but there’s high chance that Android 9.0 Pie will be ready by the end of 2018.

Along with the Motorola Power One, the company had also announced Motorola One. While there’s no information about Android Pie for the Motorola One, we expect that the phone will follow the same path as the Motorola One Power.

The company has also said that the Motorola One Power will be frequently getting the Android security patches over the course of three years. The phones are also expected to receive the next major Android release as well.

Design

These devices are not the best ones in terms of design as they have a classic full metal unibody design without a flagship-like glass back. If I would have to make a choice, I would pick Motorola One Power due to its higher screen-to-body ratio. Thanks to the notch, the device has a tri-borderless design with just a thicker chin on which you can read the Motorola branding. The other two phones have an 18:9 display and thicker bezels on both the upper and the lower part. Further, Motorola One Power is splashproof, so it is also more interesting for its build quality.

Display

When it comes to display, Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is the most interesting device. The reason is simple: it is one of the phones with the world’s biggest displays. With a size of 6.9 inches, this device is very close to a tablet and it offers a great user experience in productivity and reading. Viewing quality is not so different in each handset, they all pack a midrange-class LCD panel, so do not expect great surprises.

Specs & Software

Same hardware side for each handset, with the Snapdragon 635 chipset and up to 6 GB of RAM depending on the chosen variant. But there is an important difference in the software: as the name suggests, Motorola One Power is powered by Android One, a stock version of Google’s operating system focused on performance and updates, with no customizations. With this device, you would get great performance as well as faster and constant updates for years. So it wins this section of the comparison.

Camera

Unfortunately, we still can not test the camera performance of Motorola One Power as it was launched yesterday. But one thing is sure after reading the specs on the paper: Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is not at the level of its opponent. Even though we did not test it, on the paper Motorola One Power has the best camera department.

Battery

As mentioned above, the battery is the strongest point of each of these handsets. While the first twos feature a monster 5000 mAh unit, the third has an even bigger 5500 mAh (but note that it also has way bigger dimensions). They can all provide up to two days of battery life with a stressed use, but we believe that Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has the longest battery life.

Price

The price of Motorola One Power starts from just $218, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched for a starting price of $217 and Xiaomi Mi Max carried a launch price tag of $250 in the base configuration. Motorola One Power wins the comparison with its design, Android One support and better camera, but if you like phablets and comfortable phones, go for the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.

motorola one

The motorola one isn’t the international equivalent of the Motorola P30. It is actually the Motorola XT1941-2 that showed up on TENAA two weeks ago (with the exception of the processor).

The phone has a 5.99-inch HD+ Max Vision display with a notch at the top. It also has glass on the back. The motorola one is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor. Moto fails to mention the RAM and storage capacity but since this is the same device as the one that showed up on TENAA, we believe it is coming with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage based on its price.

The motorola one has a primary 13MP f/2.0 camera paired with a second 2MP sensor. It can record in 4K and has a bunch of camera modes. The selfie camera is an 8MP f/2.2 sensor and can shoot portrait photos.

There is a 3,000mAh battery under the hood, a fingerprint scanner under the batwing logo, and a USB-C port. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box but Motorola has promised that it will receive two updates to the latest version of Android (so Android Pie and hopefully Android Q) and will be among the first to get upgraded to Android 9 Pie after it launches.

The motorola one is priced at €299 (~$349) and will be available in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific in the coming months.

motorola one power

The motorola one power has a 6.2-inch FHD+ Max Vision display with a 19:9 aspect ratio thanks to the notch at the top. It is powered by the Snapdragon 636 mobile platform with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

There are 16MP+5MP dual cameras on the rear and a 12MP sensor within the notch. Motorola doesn’t mention the battery capacity but since the device already showed up on TENAA, we know it has a 4850mAh (~5000mAh battery).

The motorola one has a USB-C port, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an audio jack. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo and it will get the same software treatment as the motorola one. So Android 9 Pie as soon as possible and Android Q next year. Both phones will also get three years of monthly security update starting from next month.

Unfortunately, the motorola one power will only be available in India. Motorola hasn’t revealed a price yet. Both phones are also only available in Black.

The Chinese manufacturer is expected to launch two other P-series phones such as P30 Note and P30 Play. Recent reports have suggested that the P30 Note could be arriving as Motorola One Power outside of China. Hence, it is speculated that the P30 could be the Motorola One phone. An Indian publication has shared the specifications and press renders of the upcoming Motorola One Power smartphone.

Motorola One Power Specs and Features

The below shown render of the Motorola One Power show that it will be arriving with a unibody design. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether it will be featuring a polycarbonate or metallic chassis. With P2i nano-coating onboard, the Motorola One Power is a liquid repellent device.

The leaked specs sheet of the Motorola One Power shows that it is equipped with a 6.18-inch screen that produces Full HD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 19:9. The handset offers a screen-to-body ratio of 81 percent.

The Snapdragon 636 chipset that includes 1.8 GHz octa-core processor is present under the hood of the smartphone. The handset will be equipped in variants like 32 GB storage + 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM. It also features a microSD card slot. The 5,000mAh battery carries support for 15W fast charging through USB-C.

For photography, the handset is fitted with an LED enabled dual camera setup that includes 16-megapixel primary sensor with a pixel size of 1.12micron and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. It is fitted with a 12-megapixel front-facing camera with 1.25micron. The rear-mounted and front-facing cameras are both equipped with LED flash. The front camera doubles up as face unlock feature.

The software of the Motorola One Power has not appeared in this leak. However, the handset could be an Android One device running on stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. The other features of the smartphone include rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm audio jack.

Those three devices are the Moto P30, the Moto P30 Play, and the Moto P30 Note. With the Moto P30 out of the way, that leaves the Play and Note variants. A new info that has surfaced online has confirmed the identity of the Moto P30 Note.

According to the info, the Moto P30 Note’s model number is X51942-1 which is the same as that of the device which showed up on TENAA last month and has been referred to as the Moto One Power. So one can say that the Moto P30 Note is the Moto One Power but note that the former may launch first.

Based on the TENAA listing, the Moto P30 Note will come with a 6.18-inch FHD+ display and will be powered by a 1.8GHz processor (Snapdragon 636). It will have 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB of expandable storage.

A 16MP + 5MP dual camera combo will grace its back and an 8MP front-facing camera will sit within the notch in front. It will also have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which has a Motorola logo on top.

Its main selling point will be its 4,850mAh battery which should last well more than a day. The MotoP30 Note will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and be available in black, white, gold, and silver.

Last week, the Motorola One Power with model number XT1942-1 was spotted on TENAA with its entire specifications. Today, the XT1941-1 smartphone that is believed to be the Motorola One handset has appeared on TENAA with full specifications. However, the TENAA listing does not contain any images of the smartphone yet. Past leaks have suggested that the Motorola One and One Power smartphones will be sporting very similar design with slight differences. The TENAA images that have been added to this post belongs to Motorola One Power smartphone.

The Motorola XT1943-1 handset measures 155.8 x 75.9 x 8.9mm and it weighs 170 grams. It is slimmer than the Motorola XT1942-1 phone that measures 155.8x 75.9 x 9.98mm. Its color variants are black, silver and gold. Like the Motorola One Power smartphone, its weaker sibling features 6.18-inch display that produces 2246 x 1080 pixels. It is very likely that the screen that supports 19:9 aspect ratio could be equipped with a notch.

An octa-core processor that has clocking speed between 1.8 GHz and 1.6 GHz is present under the hood of the Motorola XT1943-1. Its RAM variants include 3 GB, 4 GB and 6 GB and its storage models are 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. The handset also features a microSD card slot for additional storage. It will come loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo.

The rear side of the smartphone is fitted with 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The device includes a 2,820mAh battery.

As of this writing, there is no information on the pricing of the Motorola One and One Power smartphones. The exact appearance of the Motorola One phone is very likely to get revealed through TENAA images before its official announcement.

Through the upcoming launch event that will be held on Thursday in Chicago, Motorola is expected to announce Moto Z3 flagship phone alongside Motorola One and One Power Android phones with mid-range specifications. The report had also claimed that the Motorola One smartphone would be arriving in Black and White color options. Today, the rumor mill has shared two images of the white edition of the alleged Motorola One smartphone.

Motorola has a launch event coming up on Aug. 2. It is speculated to announce Moto Z3, Motorola One and One Power smartphones at the event. The leaked renders of Motorola One and One Power that have surfaced so far have Android One text present on their rear. Both the phones have notched display. The camera module on the backside of the One Power houses dual cameras. However, the Motorola One smartphone has separated dual rear cameras.

A mysterious Motorola phone that was spotted earlier in this week. It had a notch-less display along with a vertical dual camera. Also, the smartphone did not feature Android One text on its rear. The two images of a white model of the Motorola smartphone that has appeared today only shows the its rear design. The Android One text is not available on its glass rear and it sport separated dual rear cameras.

The exact identity of this smartphone. Could be non-Android One edition of the Motorola One? It could also a white variant of the mysterious Motorola phone that had appeared in Black color earlier in this week. Hence, it could be also spotting a notch-less screen. Ther is a possibility that these two phones could be prototypes or unfinished versions of the Android One Motorola One and One Power smartphones.

The rumors surrounding the upcoming Motorola phones are quite confusing. The Aug. 2 launch event is nearly a month away. Just as the rumor mill had revealed plenty of leaked renders before the launch of Moto Z3 Play, it is likely that more renders and better photos of upcoming Motorola phones may surface in the coming weeks.

A fresh report on Android Headlines claims that there is another handset called Motorola One. The report also carriers press renders of the smartphone.

The publication claims that its reliable source has revealed the existence of Motorola One smartphone. So, including the One Power phone, there could be two phones in the Motorola One series. There is a possibility that more devices may launch under the Motorola One branding in the near future. It is speculated that the Motorola One and One Power will be debuting as Android One devices. Probably, the Motorola One lineup may only include Android One smartphones.

Compared to Motorola One Power smartphone, the Motorola One will be a smaller device. There is a possibility that One Power may offer longer battery performance. If this information is correct, then the Motorola One phone may sport a slimmer chassis as it may feature a lesser-capacity battery. The above image shows that the handset could be available in white and black color variants. These phones have different colored rear shell, but its frontside is black.

In terms of design, the Motorola One handset resembles the One Power phone. The press render reveals that the Motorola One also features a larger notch, a vertical dual camera, a rear logo that could be embedded with a fingerprint reader like its sibling. The below images compare the appearance of both the smartphones. The camera module of the Motorola One Power includes two sensors with an LED flash in between. However, the Motorola One smartphone does not seem to feature the same dual camera module as the two sensors are separated.

There is no information available on the specifications of the Motorola One. It is speculated that its specs may not differ much from the One Power smartphone. Recent reports have revealed that the One Power features a 6.2-inch display that supports FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels along with 19:9 aspect ratio. The other rumored specs of the smartphone include 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of inbuilt storage. 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup, 8-maegapixel front camera and 3,780mAh battery.

A recent post published by a leakster on Twitter and covered by GizmoChina has revealed the main specs of the device, but now another specs leak is showing a slightly different specs sheet. Now, either one of the two leaks is wrong or they are exposing two different variants of the handset.

From what the new leaked image has revealed, Motorola One Power will come with a wide 6.2-inch display showing images at a Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. There will also be a notch and very narrow bezels. But there will be a chin and it will include the Motorola logo. This phone will be a competitor of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro as it will sport an octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor by Qualcomm paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. If previous reports have to be believed, it will also come in a configuration with 6 GB of RAM. On the rear side, there will be a dual camera setup in a vertical configuration which will include sensors with 12 and 5 MP resolutions, f/1.8 and f/2.0 aperture respectively.

The LED flash has been placed exactly in the middle of the two sensors. There is also a circular fingerprint reader with the Motorola logo embedded. Given that it will be powered by Android One, the operating system installed will obviously be Android 8.1 Oreo that is the latest version available, while the battery will have a high capacity of 3780 mAh.

Do you think Motorola One Power will affect the sales of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and become one of the most wanted mid-rangers of 2018?

The image of the device reveals that it will be yet another Android smartphone that will be borrowing notched display and vertical dual camera design from the iPhone X. According to Android Headlines, the Motorola One Power will be hitting the market as Android One smartphone.

As it can be seen in the image below, the official render does not contain “moto” branding. This indicates that the Motorola branding may finally return after a long break.

Like the Moto X4 Android One smartphone from last year, it will be an Android One device that will enjoy faster software updates. Also, it could be the first Android One smartphone to arrive in the U.S. The handset is also likely to release in other markets.

There is no information available on the specifications of the Motorola One Power smartphone. However, its leaked photo reveals that its has a notched display design. Compared to other Android devices that have adopted the notched design from the iPhone X, the Motorola One Power seems to be featuring a wider notch. The bezel lying below the display has the “motorola” branding.

The rear side of the phone has a vertical dual camera setup at the top-left corner. Its LED flash is placed below the camera module. The back panel also features “M” batwing logo that could be embedded with a fingerprint scanner.

At the beginning of this year, the rumor mill had revealed that Lenovo will be launching Moto X5 smartphone with iPhone X-like notched screen this year as a successor for the Moto X4 smartphone. However, reports that appeared in the past few months have suggested that Lenovo has no plans to release the Moto X5. Could this be because the Moto X5 might be rebranded as Motorola One Power? The publication claims that it may not be the case as there are some differences in the design of One Power and the leaked Moto X5. The main difference is that the Moto X5 was rumored to arrive with round-shaped camera module with horizontally arranged dual camera setup while the One Power has vertical dual rear cameras. Hence, the two phones seem to be unrelated.
