Xiaomi Indonesia has confirmed the key specifications of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G. It will be the fifth smartphone in the Note 12 series after the Note 12 4G, Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, Note 12 Pro+ 5G. The new smartphone bears similarities with the global version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which debuted in March 2021. It appears that the device will be soon available for purchase in the Indonesian market.

Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G specifications and features

The Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a centred punch-hole. The screen produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz like other Note 12 series smartphones.

The Snapdragon 732G is the chipset that powers the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G. The SoC is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. For additional storage, the device is equipped with a microSD card slot. The smartphone runs on MIUI 13-based Android 12 OS.  

On the front, the Redmi Note 12 Pro has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the device has a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone carries support for 4K video recording.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The device comes with other features, such as dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, an IR blaster, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos-powered stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Redmi Note 12 Pro price and availability

While the Redmi Note 12 Pro has been announced in Indonesia, there is no word on its price or availability yet. The above poster suggests that it will be available for purchase in May.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has just announced the Redmi Note 12 (4G), Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G for the global market. The press release available on Mi.com mentions all the details about these smartphones. It also contains a link (still accessible while writing the post) to the product pages of these smartphones. Surprisingly, the link also includes press renders of two unannounced smartphones, namely, the Redmi Note 12S and Redmi Note 12 Pro (4G). Both smartphones are expected to go official in the coming weeks.

The Redmi Note 12S renders show that it will come in black, blue, and green colors. It is equipped with a punch-hole screen, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 108-megapixel triple camera unit on the back.

The Redmi Note 12S rumors have claimed that it will be a rebranded version of the Note 11S from last year. However, the Note 12S will offer faster charging solution, but lack the depth sensor. Redmi has started teasing the arrival of the Redmi Note 12 series for the global market. Recent certifications have revealed that at least the Redmi Note 12 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G will be heading to the global markets soon. The lineup is also expected to include a couple of other models. One of them appears to be the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G, which has appeared in the IMEI database.

In October, a Xiaomi device with a 2209116AG model number and the marketing name “Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023” surfaced in the IMEI database. It was also spotted on multiple platforms, such as Google Play Console, Geekbench, the FCC, the EEC, and SIRM (Malaysia). Xiaomiui has spotted the same device again in the IMEI database. This time, its name has been changed to the “Redmi Note 12 Pro.”

Reports suggest that the Redmi Note 12 Pro could be similar to the Redmi Note 10 Pro. Hence, there is a possibility that it may look like other Note 12 devices, but its internals could be similar to the Note 10 Pro.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro’s shortened model number is K6 and has the “sweet_global” codename. The publication revealed that the Redmi Note 12 Pro’s shortened model number is K6A, and it has the “sweet_k6a_global” codename. Hence, it appears that the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G may borrow most of its specs from the Note 10 Pro.

The different certifications of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G have revealed that it is equipped with a Full HD+ display, the Snapdragon 732G mobile platform, and 8 GB of RAM. It may come preloaded with the MIUI 13-based Android 13 OS.

To recall, the Redmi Note 10 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a SD732G chip, 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,020mAh battery with 33W charging. For photography, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera and 108-megapixel quad cameras.

India is a major market for Redmi phones. However, it is unclear whether the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G will be released in India.

The Google Pixel 4a has been delisted from the Google Store in the U.S. According to 9to5Google, the device has been finally discontinued after remaining “out of stock” for months.

The Pixel 4a has been touted as one of the best budget phones since it is packed in specs like an OLED display, Snapdragon 7-series chip, big storage, and decent cameras for $349. The device also came with three years of OS update and unlimited backup on Google Photos.

The Pixel 4a was announced back in August 2020. Unlike its Pixel 4a 5G sibling, which carried support for 5G connectivity, the Pixel 4a could only connect to 4G LTE networks. The recently released Pixel phones such as the Pixel 6 series, Pixel 5 series, and Pixel 5A have been available only in limited markets. However, the Pixel 4a was released in wider markets. The Pixel 4a is still available for purchase in India with a pricing of Rs 31,999 (~$428).

Google Pixel 4a specifications

The Google Pixel 4a came with a 5.81-inch OLED display that offers a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. For photography, it featured an 8-megapixel front camera and an OIS-enabled 12.2-megapixel rear camera. A fingerprint scanner was also made available on the rear shell of the device.

The Snapdragon 732G was present under the hood of the device. It came with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It houses a 3,140mAh battery that carried support for 18W charging.

In related news, Google is reportedly working on the launch of the Pixel 6a. The device is speculated to break cover in May through the Google I/O 2022 event. Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro flagship phones on Sept. 15 globally. According to 91mobiles, tipster Ishan Agarwal has revealed that the Chinese manufacturer will also announce a white variant of the Xiaomi 11 Lite. He has shared a leaked render of the new color variant.

According to a tweet by the official Xiaomi Nigeria account, the Mi 11 Lite (4G) is already available in the country. The phone is available in a single configuration – 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage – and is priced at ₦146,000 (~$355). Unfortunately, there is no mention of where you can purchase it.

That price tag is higher than that of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, another Xiaomi (read Redmi) phone with similar specs that launched in the country early last month for ₦135,000 (~$329). When compared, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is the better buy.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro also has an FHD+ AMOLED display but with a 120Hz refresh rate that is higher than the Mi 11 Lite’s 90Hz refresh rate. The Mi 11 Lite has a smaller screen so you get a higher pixel density but both can display 1 billion colors and have Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Mi 11 Lite and Redmi Note 10 Pro are powered by the same Snapdragon 732G processor, have the same 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and the same 16MP camera. However, you get a 108MP quad camera on the Redmi Note 10 Pro while the Mi 11 Lite has a 64MP triple rear camera. Another difference is that while they both have support for storage expansion, the Redmi Note 10 Pro has a dedicated MicroSD card slot, but for the Mi 11 Lite, it is a shared SIM slot.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro wins again with a bigger 5020mAh battery as against the Mi 11 Lite’s 4250mAh battery capacity (33W fast charging is available on both devices). It also has an audio jack. The two phones run MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Yesterday, Motorola India took to Twitter to teaser the arrival of a pair of new G-series smartphones in India. Probably, the company could be gearing up to launch the Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion phones as both models have appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site (via).

The Geekbench listings show that the Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion are powered by the Snapdragon 732G. While the name of the SoC is not explicitly mentioned in the listings, a couple of leaks have claimed that the Moto G60 and G40 Fusion by the SD732G chip.

The Moto G60 has 6 GB of RAM, whereas the G40 Fusion has 4 GB of RAM. Both smartphones will offer an Android 11 OS out-of-the-box experience. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the Moto G60 scored 515 and 1375, respectively. The Moto G40 Fusion scored 519 in the single-core test and 1425 in the multi-core test.

Motorola India’s tweet neither reveals the design nor confirms the names of the upcoming G-series phones. The Moto G50 and Moto G100 smartphones, which debuted in other markets have not yet arrived in India. Moreover, the Moto G20 is also an upcoming phone from the brand. It remains to be seen whether the company announces any of these smartphones or the Moto G60 and G40 Fusion in India.

The tipster revealed today that both phones will sport a high refresh rate display and they will offer a long-lasting battery performance.

Motorola is expected to offer at least 20W fast charging on these devices, but there is no confirmation on it yet. He further mentioned that the device will actually feature three rear-mounted cameras and one of the lenses might have two functions. The leak has no information on other upcoming G-series phones for India.

Recent reports have revealed that Motorola is working on a named Moto G60. The leaked shot shared by the tipster seems to match with the recently seen render of the G60.

Rumors are rife that the company will be announcing other G-series smartphones like the Moto G20 and Moto G60 soon. A tipster from India has shared the leaked renders of these smartphones.

Motorola Moto G20

The Moto G20 render shows that it has a waterdrop notch display. Its right edge has a dedicated voice assistant button, a volume rocker, and a power key.  The rectangle-shaped quad-camera setup of the phone has four cameras and an LED flash. A fingerprint scanner seems to be integrated with the company’s logo on the backside of the phone.

Past reports have revealed that the Moto G20 has a model number XT2128, and it could be powered by the Unisoc T700 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. It will come preloaded with Android 11 OS. The handset could be coming with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. It is speculated that the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage edition of the Moto G20 could be priced at 148.07 euros in Spain.

Motorola Moto G60

On the other side, the Moto G60 can be seen sporting a punch-hole display and a triple camera setup. It also features a voice assistant hardware key, a volume controller, and a power button on its right edge. A fingerprint reader seems to be placed on the rear shell of the device.

Past reports have revealed that model numbers such as XT2135-1, XT-2135-2, and XT2147-1 are all associated with the Moto G60. The handset is expected to arrive in markets like Latin America, Europe, and India.

Xiaomi will be holding a global launch event today at 7:30 PM (GMT+8) to announce the new Mi 11 series of smartphones. Ahead of the launch, reputed tipster Evan Blass shared a render to reveal the Mi 11 phones that will go official today.

In the image, the Xiaomi Mi 11i and already unveiled Xiaomi Mi 11 5G can be seen towards the left. At the center is the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and the Mi 11 Lite 4G and Mi 11 Lite 5G are placed on the right.

Reports have claimed the Xiaomi Mi 11i could be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Pro+. The Mi 11 debuted in December 2020 as the world’s first Snapdragon 888 SoC-powered handset in China. It is already available in global markets.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is expected to arrive as the most powerful flagship phone from the brand. It will be the company’s first IP68 rated smartphone. Past reports have claimed that the Mi 11 Ultra will offer specs like a 6.81-inch S-AMOLED curved edge QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, a 20-megapixel selfie camera, Harman Kardon dual speakers, an in-screen fingerprint reader, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, 67W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging.

According to the publication, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G will be powered by the Snapdragon 732G chipset, whereas the Mi 11 Lite 5G will be equipped with Snapdragon 765G SoC. Apart from featuring different chipsets, the 4G and 5G versions of the MI 11 Lite will have identical specs.

The Mi 11 Lite will house a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a punch-hole placed at the upper-left corner. It is expected to carry support for a 90Hz refresh rate and it will also feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

It will come with a 20-megapixel selfie camera and its rear camera setup will include a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. On the other side, the Mi 11 Lite may come in 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage models. These variants may cost 279 euros (~$330) and 329 euros (~$389), respectively. It will sell in hues like Boba Black, Bubblegum Blue, and Peach Pink.

Technosell has listed the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage version of the Mi 11 Lite with a price tag of 320 euros (~$380). An unboxing video of the handset is now available on the YouTube channel of the same retailer site.

As it can be seen in the screengrabs of the hands-on video, the Mi 11 Lite has a punch-hole display, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and a squarish triple camera island on the back. The plastic film on the display mentions key specs such as a 90Hz OLED DotDisplay, featherweight design, Snapdragon 732G, and 64-megapixel triple camera system.

Starting with the Mi 8 series in 2018, Xiaomi has made it a tradition to announce a lite version of its flagship phones. That tradition will continue this year, but unlike previous years where there have been just one lite model, we will be getting two versions of the Mi 11 Lite this year – a 4G version and a 5G version. A leak has revealed the full spec sheet of the former.

The source of the leak is Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414), and he revealed the full spec sheet of the phone in a tweet earlier today. He also shared some photos of the phone.

According to him, the Mi 11 Lite 4G will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. An earlier leak already showed us that the display is flat and has a hole punch at the top left corner.

Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 732G processor, the same chipset inside the Redmi Note 10 Pro. In a separate tweet, he reveals the phone will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. This tweet also discloses the RAM + storage variants and also the colors the Mi 11 Lite 5G will be available in.

For cameras, there is a 64MP main camera on the back along with an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP telemacro camera. All three cameras sit in a housing similar to that of the Mi 11.  There is no mention of the front-facing camera.

The Mi 11 Lite 4G has a 4520mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging (33W charger included in the box). It also has Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Dual SIM support, and a MicroSD card slot. It will run MIUI 12 based on Android 11. Its weight is given as 150 grams and its dimensions are 164 x 74 x 6 millimeters.

The attached images show that the phone will be available in three colors – Black, Blue, and Pink. The camera housing protrudes a bit and seeing as the power button sticks out a bit, we want to believe it doesn’t double as a fingerprint scanner. The bottom is where the SIM tray is and on the opposite side of the USB-C port is a six-hole speaker grille.

Xiaomi is yet to announce when the phone will launch but we won’t be surprised if it arrives before the month ends or in early April.

The publication claims that the phone will be heading to markets like Latin America and Europe. It is also speculated to land in India as it was recently certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The publication that there is some difference between the XT2135-1/2 and XT-2147-1 models.

Moto G60 specifications

The publication claimed that the Moto G60 with XT2135-1/2 model number has a 6.78-inch FHD+ display that offers a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is yet to be confirmed whether the device has an AMOLED or LCD screen. It has a front camera of 32-megapixel.

The rear camera system of the Moto G60 has a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM2 as the primary snapper, a 16-megpaixel OmniVision OV16A1Q ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel OV02B16. The Moto G60 has a 6,000mAh battery. The phone is expected in 4 GB / 6 GB RAM options and 64 GB / 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage choices. It is expected to arrive with Snapdragon 732G chipset.

At the beginning of this month, a leak by German publication TechnikNews revealed that Motorola is gearing up to launch a new phone that is codenamed as Hanoip. The publication had revealed that the model number of the device is XT-2135-1/2. Popular tipster and YouTuber Mukul Sharma spotted the XT-2135-2 variant listed in the database of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

As usual, the BIS listing has not revealed any information about the XT-2135-2 smartphone. However, the certification is a good hint that it will be arriving in the Indian market soon.

The identity of the XT-2147-1 and XT-2129-5 Motorola phones can also be seen in the screenshot of the BIS certification shared by Sharma. The XT-2129-5 model number belongs to the Moto G30, which recently launched in India and global markets. While the XT-2147-1 has also received certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S, there is no word on its final product name.

Motorola Hanoip specifications (Rumored)

The Motorola Hanoip smartphone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 732G chipset and it is expected to arrive in options like 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It may feature a 32-megapixel + 16-megapixel dual selfie camera system and its rear camera setup may include a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 primary camera, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The handset is expected to arrive in colors like Iceberg, Terracotta, and Sangria. There is no word on its pricing yet.

Recent reports have revealed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite will come in 4G and 5G versions. Fresh leaks have appeared to reveal the key specifications regarding the display, processor, and cameras of the Mi 11 Lite 4G.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G is equipped with a 6.55-inch screen. An image of the smartphone’s demo stand was shared by Xiaomiui Twitter handle. The image reveals that the Mi 11 Lite 4G features a 90Hz OLED screen that delivers 10-bit color depth. The Snapdragon 732G powers the device and it has a triple camera setup led by a 64-megapixel camera.

There will be a slight difference between the Indian and global version of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G. An Indian YouTuber Sistech Banna has now shared a retail box image of the Redmi Note 10 Pro. The plastic film on the device has revealed the key specifications of the smartphone.

The YouTuber claims that he received an image retail box image of the Redmi Note 10 Pro from an unspecified source. The image reveals that the phone has a selfie camera cutout at the top-center position of the display.

As far as specs are concerned, the Note 10 Pro has a 6.53-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution support. It is powered by the Snapdragon 732G chipset. The device is packed with a 5,000mAh battery that will carry support for 30W fast charging.

It is still unclear whether the Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 64-megapixel or 108-megapixel quad-camera system. There is a possibility that the 108-megapixel lens could be reserved for the highest model called the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.

The YouTuber claims that the Redmi Note 10 Pro may also come in a 5G version. It could be powered by Qualcomm’s 5G chip. Other features that are expected to be available on the Note 10 Pro include a 3.5mm audio jack and an IR blaster. It is expected to arrive with sub-Rs 20,000 pricing (~$272). The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is the name of an upcoming mid-range phone from Xiaomi. This moniker has previously appeared in the NBTC listing in Thailand and IMEI database. Today, the phone appeared in the database of Bluetooth SIG authority. At the same time, the handset has also appeared at Malaysia’s SIRIM regulatory body (via. Pricebaba).

At the SIRIM certification, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has appeared with the M2101K9AG model number. The latter belongs to its global version. The SIRM listing reveals that it supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, GPS, and VoLTE. On the other side, the Bluetooth certification revealed that the M2101K9AG model number is associated with Mi 11 Lite. It carries support for Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

Before arriving at the above-mentioned certification sites, the Mi 11 dLite has receive certification from the FCC authority of the U.S, the EEC regulatory body of Russia, and Thailand’s NBTC. It was revealed only through the FCC certification that the Mi 11 Lite will be arriving with 6 GB of RAM and storage editions like 128 GB and 256 GB.

Yesterday, POCO announced the POCO X3 smartphone in India. In the global markets, the smartphone is known as POCO X3 NFC. In India, it is simply called POCO X3 as it lacks NFC connectivity. In a recent interview, POCO India General Manager C Manmohan revealed that the removal of the NFC feature allowed the company to offer a larger battery on the Indian version of the POCO X3.

The POCO X3 NFC (global version) has a 5,160mAh battery, whereas the Indian model ships with a 6,000mAh battery. In an interview with 91mobiles, C Manmohan revealed that the company decided to drop the NFC feature on the Indian version because it is not an important feature for the Indian audience. Since UPI and QR code-based payments are more popular than contactless payments through NFC in India, eliminating the feature allowed the firm to offer a 16 percent larger battery on the Indian edition of POCO X3.

The handset is now up with a starting price of 199 euros in Europe. Soon after the launch event, POCO India General Manager C Manmohan hinted at the arrival of the POCO X3 in India. He also gave out a clue on the pricing of the smartphone.
