Redmi 13C leaks in live images along with retail box

We have been hearing about the Redmi 13C since late September. According to leaks, the device will be available in 4G and 5G flavors.

The LTE model was the first to leak in renders revealing its design. Now, this phone has appeared in live images along with its retail box.

Let’s check out what the Redmi 13C has to offer.

The live images of Redmi 13C come from Newzonly. The pictures showcase the front and the back of the handset. A couple of images also show the retail box.

The device in the pictures is green in color. As per previous leaks, the phone will be also available in blue and black color options.

Going by the light reflection in one of the images, the Redmi 13C might feature a glass panel like the Redmi 12. However, we cannot rule out the possibility of glossy plastic as well.

Further, the protective film on the handset’s front has the spec highlights. As per that, the device comes with a 6.74-inch 90Hz display, a 50MP rear camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.

The phone is said to house an octa-core processor. Unfortunately, the exact chip is not known at the moment.

According to earlier leaks, the Redmi 13C sports a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is also expected to be released as Poco C65 in some markets.

The smartphone should go official sooner rather than later. There’s a chance it may get announced in November.

The Osmo Pocket 3 also has a number of other improvements, including a triple microphone array for better audio recording, a digital zoom of up to 4x, and a panorama mode. The battery life has also been improved, with the camera now able to record for up to 116 minutes at 4K/60fps.

Honor has announced that its upcoming Magic 6 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. The Magic 6 will also feature a new AI assistant called YOYO and an eye-tracking-based multimodal interaction called Magic Capsule.

YOYO is powered by an on-device large language model with 7 billion parameters, which means that it can perform complex tasks such as answering questions, creating short videos, and providing personalized recommendations without the need to send any data to the cloud.

Another feature is Magic Capsule, which Honor says is a new way to interact with your phone using your eyes. It will be powered by Snapdragon Seamless technology, although Honor has not yet announced any specific details about how it will work.

The Honor Magic 6 series will reportedly consist of two smartphones, the Honor Magic 6 and the Magic 6 Pro. The latter has already been spotted in the wild with a pill-shaped notch and is expected to have the same 12MP ultrawide selfie camera and time of flight (ToF) 3D camera as the Magic 5 Pro.

Honor has not yet announced a release date for the Magic 6 series, but we expect it to arrive early next year.

Realme has confirmed that its next flagship smartphone is called Realme GT 5 Pro. The brand has officially started teasing the arrival of this device. However, it is yet to disclose the launch date.

As we have been hearing about this phone for months, we know quite a bit about it. Earlier today, the product’s listing went live on TENAA with images. Let’s go through its design.

Realme GT 5 Pro rocks a curved screen and an Oreo camera module

The TENAA listing of Realme GT 5 Pro shows the handset in white color. It should be also available in other color options, including a vegan leather variant.

The front of the device is fitted with a centered punch-hole curved display. Whereas, the rear panel has a giant Oreo-shaped camera module. Both power and volume buttons are located on the right side.

The camera island seems to have four sensors and an LED flashlight. But a reliable tipster claims that the phone will come with a Sony triple camera setup.

It is tipped to feature an IMX966 primary sensor, an IMX581 ultrawide snapper, and an IMX890 3x telephoto shooter (periscope). The same source also says that the handset will flaunt a Chinese-made (possibly BOE) 1.5K OLED display.

On the other hand, Realme has officially confirmed the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip underneath the Realme GT 5 Pro. The brand has even revealed that the smartphone will be released in global markets.

As far as other specs are concerned, the product is expected to arrive with LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, 10,000mm² VC liquid cooling system, and a 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging as well as 50W wireless charging.

MediaTek will unveil the Dimensity 9300 chipset on Nov. 6, and the Vivo X100 series that is expected to launch later in November could be the first phone to feature it. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the camera specifications of the X100 and X100 Pro.

According to the leaker, the Vivo X100’s rear camera setup will feature a Sony IMX920 as the primary camera, a Samsung JN1 lens for ultra-wide shots, and an OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera for 3x optical zoom.

The Vivo X100 Pro will have the same ultra-wide lens and telephoto camera as the X100. However, the telephoto snapper will offer a higher 4.3x optical zoom. In addition, it will have the 1-inch IMX989 camera sensor as the primary snapper.

The display sizes of the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are not known yet. However, reports have revealed that both phones will feature a curved-edge OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a possibility that there could be another variant of the Vivo X100 featuring a flat display.

The Vivo X100 is likely to pack a 5,100mAh battery, whereas the Pro model will be equipped with a 5,400mAh battery. Both devices are expected to support 120W wired charging, whereas the Pro model will also offer 50W wireless charging. The lineup will come preloaded with the latest Android 14, which will have a layer of OriginOS 4 on top.

Both models will also feature the Dimensity 9300 chip and the latest LPDDR5T RAM technology for top-notch performance. It is also being said that the X100 Pro will come with support for two-way satellite communication. The X100 series and the Vivo Watch 3 smartwatch are expected to launch in the third week of November.

iQOO 12 to launch in India as country’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 smartphone

The iQOO 12 5G smartphone, which is scheduled to launch in China next month, will also be arriving in the Indian market as the country’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 smartphone. This was confirmed by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya on Twitter.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is the latest and most powerful mobile chipset from Qualcomm, and it is expected to deliver significant performance improvements over the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The device will also feature a dedicated display processor with ray-tracing capabilities, which should make for a more immersive gaming experience.

According to rumors, the iQOO 12 5G will sport a flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone should have four cameras in total on the back, led by a 50-megapixel OV50H primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).

Likewise, it will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery. BMW M Motorsport will also likely partner with iQOO again for a Legend Edition (White) iQOO 12 5G with the tricolor BMW M stripes. Besides this, we might see the smartphones in Black and Red colors.

The iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro smartphones will be launched in China on November 7, at 7 PM local time. We will learn more about the final specifications and India launch details of the iQOO 12 after the Chinese launch.

Later today, Xiaomi will unveil the much-awaited Xiaomi 14 series of smartphones in the Chinese market. While the company is silent on the Pro model, the brand has already released a lot of official images of the standard model. A couple of hours before the official announcement, tipster Digital Chat Station shared a couple of live shots of the Xiaomi 14. In addition, he also released a screenshot of the AnTuTu listing of the device. Another leak has revealed the prices of the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset-equipped Xiaomi 14 scored 1,992,387 on the AnTuTu benchmarks, just a little bit lower than the Dimensity 9300 device on the same platform. To recall, the Dimensity 9300 device recently secured the highest-ever AnTuTu score of 2,055,084. Furthermore, the Xiaomi 14’s AnTuTu score falls below Qualcomm’s official claim, which states that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 can reach a maximum score of 2,139,281 on AnTuTu benchmarks.

In the CPU test of AnTuTu, the Xiaomi 14 scored 424,541 points. In the GPU, memory, and UX tests, it scored 855,774, 391,434, and 320,638 points, respectively. Shown below are the live shots of the Xiaomi 14 released by the tipster.

Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Xiaomi 14 will feature a 6.36-inch Huaxing C8 OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits of brightness. It will come preloaded with the company’s self-developed HyperOS, which will be overlaid on Android 14.

According to tipster Ishan Agarwal, the Xiaomi 14 series will offer up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. He added that the Xiaomi 14’s base variant (8GB+256GB) will be priced at 4,299 Yuan (~$587), whereas the 14 Pro’s starting model (12GB+256GB) will cost 5,399 Yuan (~$739). The Xiaomi 14 will come in multiple shades, such as white, black, pink, and green, whereas the 14 Pro will be available in white, black, and green.

It’s the second day of the three-day Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit 2023 in Hawaii, and today, Qualcomm has revealed more about its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform for Android flagship smartphones. Specifically, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has achieved performance that is more than 200% better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 unveiled less than 2 years ago.

Today, Qualcomm showcased the shocking performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 through 5 popular benchmarking tools which are respectively Antutu v10 benchmark, Geekbench 6, 3DMark Wild Life Extreme, 3DMark Solar Bay, and AI Mark.

In Antutu benchmark, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 achieved a record-breaking score of 2,139,281, as it is the first chipset officially launched to cross the 2 million mark in Antutu benchmark. As seen above, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has achieved a 233 % performance improvement over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in Antutu, making it more than twice as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Moving onto other benchmarks, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC scored in Geekbench 6 with a multi-core score of 7501 and a single-core score of 2329. In 3DMark Wild Life Extreme, it scored 5338 on the gaming benchmark test. In 3DMark Solar Bay, the SoC reached a score of 8597, and only ran as hot as 39 degrees Celsius on its 3rd run of Solar Bay. Lastly in AI Mark, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 scores 240,147 points, ranking first in the benchmark, beating all the other 99% of devices in the smartphone industry.

When you open the app now, you might see a message saying “Audio and Video calls are here!” For those who like to call directly, this could be good news. But there’s a detail that’s causing concern. The call feature is turned on by default. If you don’t want people from X calling you, you have to go to the settings in your Direct Messages and turn it off. There’s a small gear symbol that shows you where to do this. You can also choose who can call you: maybe only verified accounts or just your followers.

However, X has had some problems in the past, especially with keeping things peaceful for everyone. This makes people worry about the new call feature being on by default. If you don’t know about this feature and suddenly get a call from someone you don’t want to talk to, that’s not a good feeling.

X’s new feature might be trying to offer more to its users. But the way it’s been added might not be the best choice. It’s important that features make things easier for users, not harder or confusing. Lastly, the Blackout R costs $4,295. It’s based on Super73’s R series and is the strongest in this collection. It has both front and rear suspensions, which means a smoother ride on rough grounds. The Honor X9b was recently listed on Honor UAE’s website, revealing its specifications. However, the company did not provide information about its price and availability at that time. Now, the brand has officially disclosed these details.

The Honor X9b is priced at SR 1,399 (~$346) in Saudi Arabia, as per a listing on Jarir Bookstore. The price belongs to the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant of the X9b. The company will start receiving pre-orders for the X9b starting Oct. 26, and its shipment will begin on Nov. 8. The X9b can be bought in shades like Midnight Black, Emerald Green, and Sunrise Orange featuring a leather back.

Honor X9b specifications

The Honor X9b has a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1200 x 2652 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 429 ppi pixel density, 10-bit colors, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The X9b promises a screen-to-body ratio of 92.8 percent.

Under the hood, the Honor X9b features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. The device is equipped with a 5,800mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging. It runs on the Magic OS 7.2-based Android 13.

Over the past three months, the company reported a revenue of $56.5 billion, surpassing expert estimates of $54.5 billion. What’s even more noteworthy is that this exceptional performance wasn’t limited to revenue alone; Microsoft also exceeded expectations with its earnings per share. Microsoft’s cloud business, Azure, drove the company’s outstanding performance in the latest quarter.

Azure revenue reached $24.3 billion, beating Wall Street expectations of $23.6 billion. Azure and other cloud services revenue grew 29%, exceeding Wall Street expectations of 27%. Samsung Galaxy A15 4G & 5G variants coming to Europe: Report

Samsung is gearing up to launch its Galaxy A15 smartphone, and recent reports suggest that it will come in both 4G and 5G versions for the European market. The report comes from Galaxyclub, revealing some key details about the Galaxy A15. As per the publication, the device is expected to feature a 6.4-inch display, possibly with a 90Hz refresh rate.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy A15 is rumored to include a 50MP primary camera on the rear. While the details of the other two sensors remain undisclosed, it’s likely to incorporate ultra-wide and macro camera units. For selfies, the smartphone may sport a 13MP front camera.

The device is expected to run on Android 14-based One UI 6 right out of the box. Reports suggest that Samsung might officially announce the Galaxy A15 in early 2024.
